If anyone wants to interact with Kas and Thomas currently feel free. They're just wandering. Or if it makes more sense for them to approach your character I can do that.

@Filthy Mudblood I don't. I've done many bonfires before but have never heard of a bonfire night.

this is my time to shine
okokokok sooo us Brits have this tradition on November 5th every year in which we light up bonfires, fireworks, and sparklers once it gets dark. In the capital cities, like Edinburgh and London, the celebrations are televised because they're huge.
It's all done to commemorate the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. The Gunpowder Plot was basically a huge plan to blow up the House of Lords, and assassinate the then-king. It was led by Guy Fawkes, but failed miserably as they were caught on the night of November 5th. People sometimes put a scarecrow on top of bonfires wearing a Guy Fawkes mask to burn; its a pretty weird celebration, but it literally lights up Britain. There's also a rhyme, but people tend to only really know the first few lines:Remember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
Guy Fawkes and his companions
Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
All up alive.
Threescore barrels, laid below,
To prove old England's overthrow.
But, by God's providence, him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
A stick and a stake
For King James's sake!
If you won't give me one,
I'll take two,
The better for me,
And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!
Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!
I know at my school you had to KISS someone to get out of the jail.
@MissCapnCrunch Would you think it better to do a week long festival or a Friday to Sunday festival?
