A space pod sent from the planet Vegeta hurdles into its targets atmosphere at great speed. The space pod, containing a small child with a tail, finds its point of landing inside the ashes of a home it destroyed. The home, on mount Paozu, belonged to a renowned martial artist by the name of Son Gohan (now dead via collision of the space craft.) The pod opens, revealing the small boy with a tail weeping at the top of his lungs; nobody comes. The world forgets about Son Gohan and the boy is left to survive in the wilderness on his own..

Trouble begins to brew in the world. An ambitious military force known as the Red Ribbon Army ascertains four balls of legend said to grant any wish to the gatherer of all 7. It is at this time that Bulma Briefs, heiress to the capsule corporation wealth, begins her search for the dragon balls as well. Her initial goal is changed when the leads in her search turn her onto the Red Ribbon plot to gather the dragon balls and conquer the earth. Despite her best efforts (and massive amounts of zenni) the world's monarchy, at the time controlled by King Furry, ignored the girl's pleas. Red Ribbon has control of 3 dragon balls by the end of 748. Red Ribbon attempts the annexation of the Northern territory, and succeeds.

Red Ribbon continues to have trouble locating the four other balls. Bulma Briefs, using capsule corp's resources, assembles a resistance force to halt Red Ribbon's advance into western territory. Red Ribbon controls East capitol city, the northern territories all the way to Emporer Pilaf's castle. The castle is the last "friendly" territory before the helpless cities of the west; Bulma Briefs and the resistance stand firmly against the advance here. The world cowers as Red Ribbon's advanced weaponry and technology continue to easily trump the rest of the world's military forces. The hermits continue to stay out of it, but the turtle hermit takes a student by the name of Krillen, who hopes to become strong enough to help the resistance.

Krillen leaves the kame-house a master martial artist and practitioner of ki, making him a rare fighter among the world. He begins his journey to castle Pilaf in order to join the bloody fight against Red Ribbon, who allegedly now have five balls. At this time Tien-Shenhan (tenshenhan) embarks on the same journey after chaotzu, his best friend, is murdered in an attack on the crane house by Red Ribbon. The resistance forces are lacking in strength and numbers as Red Ribbon's five year siege of the castle finally begins to make major progress. Kami begins to worry for the world, and sends Popo out to find powerful fighters for the resistance, less they lose the planet to tyranny and his dragonballs be used for great evil.

Kami stared out into the peaceful sea of clouds that surrounded his isolated lookout in the sky. His face was wracked with worry; a bead of sweat travelled down his old green face. The weight of the world literally rested upon his shoulders once more. Kami had dealt with powerful foes and regimes before, but he had heroes to do it with. The turtle hermit, student of great hero mutaito, would have nothing to do with the wars of man any longer. Kami knew this. It seemed once again, that the world was in need of heroes. Mr. Popo silently approached Kami from behind him.
"Mr popo...I have a job for you." Kami uttered in his very own wise tone. A heroic quest for this age was about to begin. Mr. Popo was tasked with finding this age's greatest martial artists and adventurers. He travelled all over the world in order to do this, stopping at places like Korin's tower (pretty obvious), The Kame House, The crane school of martial arts, and other places where notable martial artists sprung from. These newfound heroes were tasked with joining the resistance in defending the dragonballs from the Red Ribbon Army, and defeating them. Kami hoped this would be enough...

Explosions rang off in the distance as the sound of artillery cannons went off and crashed simultaneously. Pilaf's screams could be heard down the corridors of his massive castle. "My castle! Everything is falling apart! BRIEFS!" Pilaf screamed in frustration as he watched the beautiful but hardened blue haired woman ignore him. Bulma pressed into an earpiece she was wearing on the right side of her head to communicate with her men outside.
"Yamcha it sounds bad from in here. What the hell is going on out there?" she spoke calmly into the earpiece. After a moment of static the earpiece rambled back.

"It's ugly Bulma," bullets could be heard whizzing past via the live feed from the piece, "Our foot soldiers can't stop the advance of their tanks. They also have...I dunno, cyborgs? Androids? Whatever, they're strong as hell! I'm using up a lot of explosive ordinance out here." The feed cut as Yamcha displaced his finger from the button. Bulma turned around and glared at Pilaf who was sitting on his throne panting and sweating. He knew what this look meant. Pilaf leaned over to the arm of his oversized throne and pressed a big red button. Speaking in a reluctant and miserable tone, he addressed his top henchman.

"Mai, scramble the Pilaf machines." After a brief moment Mai would buzz back with a quick roger that. Pilaf's henchmen and castle had been quickly appropriated for military use, but even he would admit it, it was a surprisingly good fit. The decision to side with the west's defenses had ultimately been made on the promise that Pilaf would be appointed "Supreme leader of the world" directly afterward. The thought made his mouth water. Moments later a guard ran in and put up a four finger salute pointed towards Bulma.
"The next wave of recruits have arrived safely ma'am!" the guard shouted in an officiating tone. Bulma turned around and grinned snidely. This wave of recruits may be there saving grace; at least thats what reports said. Fighters selected by the guardian of Earth, some would call him god, himself. Hopefully they could save the resistance.

This roleplay follows the progression of a severely diverted Dragonball timeline. One in which Kakarot's space pod kills his would-be surrogate father and teacher Son Gohan. Red Ribbon has taken a foothold in the eastern part of the world, and the last force that can stop him is the resistance led by Bulma Briefs and funded by her and Emporer Pilaf. Character will find themselves interacting with notable characters from the dragonball universe, fighting Red Ribbon, and ultimately finding all of the dragonballs to ensure that they do not fall into the wrong hands. Appearance: Ninja Pink is a very beautiful blonde haired lady when not wearing her ninja garb. Her ninja garb itself, as her name suggests, is pink.

Background: Icecap Town, located north of East City
Training: Ninja Pink is skilled in Ninjitsu, though not to the extent of Murasaki. She has also been trained in kickboxing and mixed martial arts on the behest of her older brother, General White.
Abilities: Camouflage
Items: Katana, and throwing stars, as well as a set of capsules.
Bio: The sisters of General White, Ninja Pink and Ninja Blue were always distanced morally from their older brother, but when the Red Ribbon Army began their conquest of the world, the sisters stormed Muscle Tower to try and appeal to General White, and take him down if necessary.

Ninja Blue was killed in the resulting fight, and Ninja Pink captured. General White, not wanting to lose both his sisters, chose instead to imprison her within the tower. That was how it stayed for several months, until General White left for the Headquarters for business. Ninja Pink chose this time to escape unnoticed, and has been training alone in the snowy mountains ever since, waiting for her revenge.

Background: At the age of three he, along with his entire village, saw a meteor crash into nearby Mt. Paozu. After that they began hearing stories of a giant ape that would come out every full moon and attack nearby villages or, if they were lucky, just use its magic to blow pieces out of the mountain.
When he was fourteen late at night on a full moon, he was out hunting when he heard an explosion. He returned to the village, but by the time he arrived the ape had returned to the woods and the sun was rising. His entire village was now burning rubble, and he could find no survivors.
He vowed vengeance on the ape that day, and sought out a master that could teach him to fight. In one farming town near the coast, he found an old man whose pupil was plowing fields with his bare hands. He knew this man's harsh teachings would make him strong enough to defeat the giant ape and asked to study under the man. He was accepted and began his training in the kame sennin style martial arts.

Training: As a student of the Turtle Hermit, he has learned the Kame sennin style. He prefers using his speed to dodge enemy's attacks.

Abilities: Kamehameha

Items: Weighted clothing (100kg shirt, 10kg shoes, 5kg wrist bands), hunting rifle (once his fathers. Mostly of sentimental value.)

Bio: Because of his studies with the Turtle hermit, he has learned to be a world-class pervert and womanizer.

Name: Hidan

Appearance:

Background: Hidan was once a Police officer in the Northern regions, dedicated to justice and the service of the public. He had a good life, promotion opportunities, an adoring girlfriend and promising future.
At least until the Red Ribbon army came in an annexed the city (along with the entire northern region). During the violent appropriation of the North, Hidan's precinct were tasked with keeping order and facilitating the safe evacuation of the city.
During the panic and confusion, he saw his girlfriend separated from the rest of the group he was trying to help by a squad of Red Ribbon soldiers. His orders were immediately forgotten and he raced to her aid.
Jumping into the middle of the group, he put his police training to good use and managed to take three of the seven down before they overwhelmed him.
Two of them held him while a third one delivered a vicious knife slash to his face, leaving him with a permanent diagonal scar on his face from his right brow to the middle of his lip. As he began to pass out from the pain, he heard his girlfriend cry out, before she was abruptly silenced by a gunshot. Following this was the sound of gunfire and familiar police voices shouting for backup.

He came to three days later, his face scarred and his last memories burned into his mind. He spent the next week healing up, proving to be very resilient. He aided the small group of survivors (a number far smaller than what they had tried to save), before deciding that he had to leave. His trauma ate at him like a cancer, his scarred face a permanent reminder of his failure to protect, as well as his burning hatred for the Red Ribbon army.
He took to the road as a vagabond, and spent years attacking small Red Ribbon convoys and scout patrols. He had begun to make a small name for himself, and took on an almost mythical quality among the dissidents and survivors of the Red Ribbon rampage. He carried on his attacks relentlessly, feeding his desperate rage, but knowing in his heart that he was doing little to harm Red Ribbon in any way, and his methods were only growing more reckless.

Training: Hidan graduated Police Training with high marks, and was exceptionally adept at hand to hand combat and marksmanship. In his spare time, he sought martial arts training to supplement his already impressive skills.

Abilities: Hidan possesses no Ki abilities, but in his private martial arts lessons has shown the potential to someday learn and master them. His true talents lie in his martial arts and proficiency with small arms. His police training placed particular emphasis on quick and decisive victories, fast thinking and the ability to disable opponents to de-escalate a situation as efficiently as possible.

Items: A basic broadsword slung on his back, and a battered police badge worn as a pendant around his neck, along side the ring he planned to propose to his girlfriend with.

Bio: Hidan is a wandering guerrilla fighter with a deep grudge against Red Ribbon.
