I haven't felt the urge to watch an awards show for... oh god, I can't remember the last time I watched one. I just don't see the appeal of watching people hand out trophies to people.

I am so sorry.

I mean, I totally get why academy awards are a thing and I think it's great people get recognition for their hard work, but yeah, no interest in watching it.

Exactly.

I don't usually watch. But I do like to catch the end of the show, where they pass out awards for movies instead of stuck-up people. But you get to hear a couple of writers talk about writing, and then some directors talk about leadership, and then the show is over and you can cut to sad leo gifs.
