"Good now that we are all here we will go for our hike. Ronnie you can leave your bag in our office. Kyle will show you your cabin later. As we walk we would like you to keep track of the animals and plants that you recognize." The counselors announced once they all arrived at the fire pit.

Ronnie listened to them quietly. I'm keeping my backpack with me. He thought to himself, and pulled out a notebook and pen. He glanced around at the scenery before writing something down. In bold words, at the top of his page, read, Raised By Wolves by Falling In Reverse.

Cecilia didn't think it was that big a deal, but still appreciated Helena's efforts to reassure her. "Hey, thanks. That means a lot. But yeah, I don't know about heroes. But now that you mention it, I think I can almost picture you in a cool superhero costume," she jested. Cecilia's eyes widened at Valencia's offer of friendship. "Oh... y-yes. Yes I'd love to!" she cheerfully exclaimed, having momentarily forgotten about the still-wrapped lollipop in her hand. She may have been caught off guard at first, but knew for a fact that she really wanted to be friends with both of them, and do what she could to make their time in this camp special.

Helena have a silly bow to Cecilia for the hero compliment, "Why thank you." She listened to Valencia offer Cecilia friendship and listened to Cecilia accept the offer. "Cool, we've already got a trio of friends. Everyone here seems so friendly, I think we'll all make friends," Helena thought out loud. She knew some people wouldn't get along too well, that's just the way life works, but overall it seemed everyone would get along without much drama.

Valencia smiled at the two, it meant a lot to her. "Yeah, I think so too." she said to Helena. Then she heard the counsellors speak about that the hike is about to get going or start since everyone has arrived so far. "I think that we will go on the hike soon, everyone so far has arrived." Valencia said to the two wile putting the wrapping in her back since she didn't saw a trash can near the fire pit.

*James nodded to the counselors as he walks over, the hike is about to start and he was rather excited for what is to come for the camp. Looking around as he smiles, spotting Cecilia over with a couple other girls. Him thinking on it as he walks over to where the hiking is starting, thinking the counselors would show them where it would be. If she wanted to walk with them, he didn't mind. He thought that some company with other girls like her would be good for her, make the experience better for her. If she wanted to walk with him, she could always but he wanted her do what she wanted as he waited for whatever else was needed before the hike. Looking out through the trees as he spoke up to the counselors* "So where is the trail or are we going someplace certain that you both already planned out?"

The male counselor took the front while the female counselor moved to the back. They headed away from the camp. "The camp has an activities room where we will have arts and crafts. There will be a schedule most days. Once we show you around you will have today to explore and get to know each other. Tomorrow we will have a schedule. If you wish to do something let us know."

Ronnie listened quietly. He was happy to learn they would have an arts and crafts. So far, the only people Ronnie knew were Ivy and Kyle. Kyle seemed like a good guy, so Ronnie figured he would go meet up with him and Ivy afterwards.
Ronnie put away his notebook and waited for them to begin.

When James appeared with, curiously enough, a second boy besides Aki whom she hadn't seen before, a warm smile came over Cecilia's face as she took a moment to turn her head towards the counselors before they began to lead the group on the tour. They seemed friendly; maybe James was making friends already. This was a welcome sight to be sure. Their agreement to go together did come to mind, but she knew how important it was for her to not get in the way of him and new experiences and people. Besides, it wasn't like this was the only chance they would have to explore the camp. Following, behind one of the counselors along with her two new friends, Cecilia finally unwrapped the lollipop that Valencia gave her, placing the hardened candy in her mouth, the rush of sugar tingling her tongue before the distinct flavor of cherry emerged.

Edmond spotted a girl looking at him for just a second. She was pretty no doubt, but why was she here? Oh yeah, she has a power thing too, Edmond thought. He walks towards the guide with Aki and James trailing him who seemed to know some of the people here. At least they seem like there haveing fun. He huffed and puts his hands in his jacket pockets. Edmond decided to pull the bored face, so no one would talk to him. His red eyes shifting from person to person, as if challenging them to talk to him. Edmond didn't mean to make anyone uncovertebral, so he just stared at the trees and anything that wasn't human as they walked the trail. His sharp eyes then drifted strangely back to the girl for some reason, who had her back towards him and was walking with some friends.

"Yeah," Helena replied to Valencia's earlier comment, struggling a bit to open the wrapper. She quickly transformed her nail into a claw, tearing the wrapper, and reformed it back. After it was torn, she realized with a silent chuckle that she was supposed to unravel it, not tear it. When the hike started, she stuck by Cecilia and Valencia, while listening to the counselors. "Hikes are fun, so hopefully they'll have more fun things planned on the schedule," she commented, "A sport would be really fun. Shoot, didn't they say there was a lake? Maybe we could go swimming." Helena wasn't sure about the lake part, but the thought of doing active activities excited her.

Valencia agreed with Helena activities sound like lots of fun and you can get to know each other better. "Sports, sounds fun to me." she replied to Helena. "I'd like to go for a swim since it's a really nice day today." She said. Most of the weeks they got nice weather and hot days so swimming would be nice to cool down or just to relax.

"Yeah, it is a really nice day today," Cecilia said in agreement, making sure to temporarily hold the lollipop in her hand while talking. "I haven't ever swum in a lake before, nothing that doesn't usually have a tarp or cover over it. I can't even imagine how cold it's going to be." She did truly enjoy swimming; it was just the likely scenario of her apprehensively perched by the water's edge, too scared to jump in, that she didn't look forward to.

Between Helena, Valencia, and the fascinating landscape that she endeavored to take in in the meantime, Cecilia wasn't able to notice Edmond behind her. He may potentially see her turn her head in wordless wonder at certain features of the forest, though such instances were less than common, as she was trying to pay attention to her friends.

*James would smile and look around, thinking a bit as he sighs. Looking at his hand as he listens to the voice in his head* "Mind if I come out James? If you want to listen to Cecilia's words, maybe now may be a nice time for me to come out." *James would think on his words as he looks at the two, looking at his right hand. Well, better now then later on. Besides he should have said what his power was to begin with, but he didn't know if this was the right time or not. Oh well, he would hold his hand out to the side and out a bit so his back of his hand was facing upwards. Speaking to the two but the others could always hear him* "I hope you all don't mind, I'm going to let a friend walk with us and get some fresh air." *Biting his lip, hoping they don't mind as the wound opens up. The dark cloud funneling out of his hand and hitting the ground, soon though the cloud would dart upwards and form into a bird on his shoulders. A hawk in looks but completely black with red eyes as James smiles* "That better Neric?" *The dark being nodding as James continues walking, not noting at first the reactions the others would have*

"Yeah, I've never swam in a lake before," Helena agreed. The only thing she did on a lake was fish and that wasn't even on a boat, it was on the shore. "Actually, I can barely swim, but being in the water is so fun and relaxing, you know? Until you get to the deep end," she laughed.

@LiegeLord @Mangrale He then saw one of the girls look a little at him, but then turn her head to lesan to the others around her. Edmond looked away to see James. James was going to show his power! He had not known that he even knew how to use his powers, and apparently, he did. He was really excited to see his ability but he gave him space. Wait did he say a friend? Edmond had a bewailed look when a flurry of black came out of his hand, forming a majestic hawk that had red eyes like his own. "WOW! THATS SO COOL!" Edmond exclaimed as he admired the hawk perched on James' shoulder. "What else can you do?" Edmond asked with a stupid smile forming on his face.

Walking with Ivy wasn't an easy thing. Kyle honestly had no tine to look around. He had to keep his sister from wondering too far off the trail. Ivy didn't have a long attention span. Especially when there was nothing for her to focus on. He continuously had to grab her before she could follow something that grabbed her attention.

Looking at Neric as he speaks out loud* "Hmm, Neric do you wanna tell him?" *The hawk would look at James before looking at Edmond, nothing about it would move or even it's mouth as it speaks out* "This isn't my only form, though our capabilities are hard to understand or apprehend. I am Neric, James is my host and I tend to protect him no matter the case and those that need it or are his friends. Though it is a pleasure to meet you, what was it I overheard from Aki and James speaking, Edmond was it?" *Flapping his wings a bit before shaking his head, looking around at everyone*

"I have swum in a lake before, where you could see the bottom at all times. I don't like the feeling of the water plants agents my feet, but I've never been really deep in the lake that can't feel the bottom any more." Valencia said back. She placed her lollipop in her mouth and began to look around. She spotted a couple of birds then she turned around to she who were walking behind. A new boy was there walking next to James. Valencia turned around a little bit to study the new guy when she saw a mysterious hawk on the shoulder of James. *It isn't a bird at all, black hawks with red eyes don't exist in nature so far I know. This is interesting maybe it could be part of his powers since he hasn't spoken about it yet.* Valencia thought while studying the two boys. She began to walk a little slower. "I believe we haven't met before, I'm Valencia nice to meet you." She said with a happy sounding voice to the new guy. Valencia didn't say anything about the hawk since not all of them would be happy to talk about there powers openly or find it difficult.

@LiegeLord @Vampy Edmond's smile only grew larger when the hawk thing started talking. He had never seen anything so strange, yet amazing. The thing's name was Neric. Apparently he heard there conversation earlier, which was a little creepy. "Well, Neric it's very nice to meet you. Edmond's red eyes flashed with curiosity, but the he hired a female voice. The voice came from the girl who he saw walking ahead of him. She slowed down and said her name was Valencia. "Well hello Valencia, it is very nice to meet you." He flashed a toothy grin and said, My name is Edmond, but you can call me Ed if you prefer. Also how long have you and James been here? He just got to the camp really late, so he decided to ask the question.
