I wonder how well this training exercise will go for wildcard.  Tenshi only has 2 jutsu he can use and 2 trickster like moves.  He also is the only genin in the group.  This will be interesting to see how he is treated in a training exercise

Aren't all pairings bad in Naruto? I'm counting NaruHina as well. ShikaTema is the most developed tbh. Kishi's bad at romance though.

@Buddha Anyways... pairing wars aside.

My question is. Would it make sense for Ria's sword style stuff to be Yin Release. Kinda like how Sakura's punches were Yin Release.

Kishimoto isn’t bad with romance, he’s inconsistent with romance. As Buddha said before the epilogue of Naruto feels (and probably is) an afterthought on Kishimoto’s side of things and I happen to agree. There were only a few romances he was consistent throughout the series and it seems outside of Shikamaru and Temari none of them are really… relevant going forward into Series III. 

It’s really frustrating because there were a lot of great hints of relationship development for Kishi to only throw it away in the end.

@Masaki Haruna This might be an odd question, but how do you mean Ria's sword will be Yin Release, I get your example with Sakura but how would it manifest with Ria? 

Just like Sakura's punches, making Ria's sword more of an explosion stick? Make Ria's sword cool and black with streaks? Or make it more indiscernible and esoteric, like making the opponent think the blade is in one place when they're actually looking at an after-image making the opponent constantly one move behind? Or like Shikamaru's and how it paralyzes?

...

I just put far too much thought into a character and moveset that isn't even mine :P

P.S. The Uchiha's are actually a clan of Batmans :3

Simple @McFazzer Cuz Tsubamegaeshi's and not just that it's absurd slicing power. Damn, you've guessed what I wanted to say all along. Minus the paralyze and explosions. Given the nature of Uchihas being connected to Yin Release, I guess it would make sense for Ria's sword schtick to be Yin Release.

As much as Batman the Uchiha are. I'm going in a different route this time. I dunno yet but I'll make it authentic. Yeah I love the detective stuff.

This is a good example of it and the most comparable. I'm not trying to make it like FSN though.

@Gowi On second thought. His inconsistency kills it for me. Not just in romance.

@Weird Tales The best paying mission is the one for team Trouble, which arguably is also the only team with no established clans. Except Kaido, but he's the jonin.

@Masaki Haruna Doesn't make sense. Sakura didn't use 'yin chakra' afaik but used regular chakra. Which arguably is yin-yang chakra, but then every jutsu would be yin-yang release. Yin chakra is imagination -> it's like genjutsu exclusively, unless you are creating new things. Like Sai, he had the ability to create things and that would be yin release, then he used yang release to bring them to life, I think.

The Uchiha Clan (うちは一族, Uchiha Ichizoku) is one of the founding clans of Konohagakure.

The Uchiha are descendants of Indra Ōtsutsuki, the elder son of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. Through Indra, the Uchiha inherited Hagoromo's "eyes", granting them powerful spiritual energy and chakra. As part of the so-called "Curse of Hatred" first displayed by Indra, Uchiha are subject to powerful emotions: these emotions typically start as love for a friend or family member that then become overpowering hatred when the object of their love is lost. This loss, whether actually experienced or merely threatened, awakens an Uchiha's Sharingan. It is due to the Sharingan that the Uchiha have received much of their fame and notoriety.

Mariko's biological parents have remained an unknown for the whole of her life. Her mother remains a member of the Uchiha clan, a distant aunt to her forbidden from revealing herself as the child's true parent for the shame brought by her conception. Her biological father is an unknown. If he had been a civilian, a shinobi or a traveler, Mariko's mother would not divulge his name or location either from lack of knowledge or to guard him from retribution. Mariko was instead raised by her biological uncle, Shiinichi, a well respected shinobi among the clan and his wife, Yukiko. As Yukiko was pregnant in the months prior to Mariko's own birth, she was passed off as her cousin, Eisuke's, fraternal twin. She is often at odds with her 'brother', but dotes upon her younger 'sister' Machiru.

Ｄｅｓｃｒｉｐｔｉｏｎ
A gunbai (軍配, Gunbai, Literally meaning: army arrangement), or Gunbai Uchiwa (軍配団扇, Gunbai Uchiwa, Literally meaning: army arrangement fan), is a non-folding fan, carved from an unique spirit tree from which only ritualistic instruments are made. This Gunbai has been passed down between Uchiha clansmen for generations.

It is a wide fan with tomoe on it and has a long handle with bandages wrapped around the base, as well as having a long cord attached to it. It is banded in steel along its edges and tipped with a long metal spike.

This gunbai has the ability to convert incoming chakra into wind nature transformation reflecting an opponent's attack back towards them. Mariko wields it both as a shield and as a mace because of its durability.
