I'm bored and this caught my interest. Working on a CS now.
Is there an age limit on characters, perchance?
And are things that are marked "TBD" On the character sheet not supposed to be filled out?

Sounds doable. Would a student who skipped a grade or two be allowed? I'm not talking drastically younger than the others. Just in the 12-14 range instead of the 15-18 range.

I really don't want to go younger than 15 due to experiences and circumstances the characters will encounter through the course of the RP.

Hm.
Problem here is, I'm not 15. I'm 13. I don't know how well it would work out to play as someone who's cognitively more advanced than myself.

I just really don't think a younger character would fit into the cast at this point. Most of the class are in their second last or final year of highschool.

Best compromise I can offer you is a fourteen year old since the school is still in its fall semester. A freshman would be 14, if your character has a late birthday (ie October to December), they could be thirteen I suppose if you absolutely need them to be.

As a 23 year old I would feel uncomfortable playing with someone a full decade my junior, and I really don't think a character 13 or 14 years old would mesh well at all with our current group of 17-19 year olds.

@oliver I'm more impressed than anything that you're so young (I mean, wow) but isn't it pretty normal for RP'ers to play a character that's a few years older/younger than their real age? So playing a high schooler should be rather doable, at least in my opinion. You're going to be pretty limited if you just stick to playing thirteen-and-under characters -- I recommend expanding your horizons :)

While I can agree to the latter part, I don't feel the former is a fair statement to make. I mean we all started out younger and it's not fair to essentially discriminate a player because of their age.
