I hate to bring this up, but isn't the recent post basically autohitting? Like, a big nono in RPGs?

Yeah... that's... that's an auto-hit. Wraith can add like "Magnus attempted to lunge specifically at Youmu to lift her off the ground by the neck with one hand' but phrased like such, then yeah nah, that's an auto-hit. Might wanna edit that.

I was looking at this line too:

@Masterkeun and I have agreed on the post. If @VitaVitaAR doesn't like it, she can have me change it. It's up to her if she wants to go with it.

Some moves can be auto hits if they are highly probable. Like, if your weapon is suddenly scalding hot, you're probably going to drop it. Also, there is already a plan in action for her to use the other blade. It was preemptively intended.

Yeah uh.

It's not like I expected Magnus to get cut in half or anything but he basically ignored that attack attempt effortlessly(and Youmu's sword's hilt is wrapped so that wouldn't really work) to autohit her multiple times... and autohit everyone else.

Well, swords aren't bare metal and...

Youmu dual-wields? She doesn't need to drop one sword to use the other.

@VitaVitaAR I know that Magnus *barely* dodged it, so I can make that more clear. As for him heating her longsword, he would do that easily. it's up to you if you want it to be ties to her hand or not, but it's going to burn her.

I can edit the part where Magnus grabs her if you want. I didn't technically ask permission first, but, if he doesn't grab her, then I doubt he's going to let her get close enough to stake him with Horouken. You may miss your chance to do that.

Well in that case, if they agreed in a PM about the idea, I guess it's fine. If anything, the poster can say its been agreed on as a disclaimer so.

Vita's story may be rather different however from the looks of it...

Also, I feel like I need to veer into the construction of swords for a second: you're heating the blade. There's never any metal in contact with the hand, because metal has bad grip and would rust if you're holding it under sweaty layers all the time:

@Raineh Daze a near-molten blade is probably going to have a wicked hot grip too. The grip could possibly just burst into fire. Do we seriously need to argue this?
