Not wanting to hurt the wild pokemon too much, Meintjta nevertheless pounced on her, another scratch at the ready. She was going to finish this, as she gripped ttightly to the yunagoss, but she stayed her hand. She hadn't been a captured pokemon long enough to not remember what it was to be wild. She paused, and with a sigh, she steppdd away from tne wild, tired and slightly battered wild pokemon. She didn't have to fight until her opponent was fainted. Being fainted in the wild...it wasn't fun, and Meinjta wasn't going to subject yungoos to it if she didn't have to

Moving back to rasa, although watching the scene in case Grazia needed help, she looked to her trainer, "Do you have any potions? If the yungoos will accept your help. She isn't ready to be caught" or so Charmander thought.

Yet she didn't think ner request was heard, as Kaiser broke free of his pokeball, attacking Rasa. Meinjta didn't even hesitate. She leapt in front of the helpless trainer, using her body to block the attack, the flame of her tail glowing a bright red, yellow splashing through it.

Seth Halen

"I think you're right about not being able to make him talk," Seth replied, "So I think following is the right answer."

Jaden did raise a good point about being able to keep up with him. A skateboard may not be able to keep up with a vehicle, but it would be much faster than two boys on foot. But, then again...

"We don't need to be able to keep up with him," he said definitively, "We just need to keep eyesight. They're smart, and they went on about how legal and on the up and up they are- they'll be doing everything they can to not draw any attention from the authorities. That means he'll be obeying traffic laws to the letter. We can make use of that... but we need to get moving now."

Seth reached back into his backpack, grabbed the jam again, and tossed it to Jaden. "So eat this on the way, it'll get rid of your headache, and we'll get your partner back. Now come on, we need to move!"

With that, he slung his backpack on and started to move after the skateboarder.

Hestia the Alolan Vulpix

Sirens sounded behind her as Hestia ran. Her little legs were throbbing from her haste, but she dared not stop; Master Ke- no, just Kevin she reminded herself, had never been one to let things he considered his property get away from him unwillingly. And if that kind of mistreatment was the norm for Kanto trainers... there was no way the police would take her side, or even listen to her plea. So she kept running, ducking into any corner she thought she could take and putting distance between her and the Lodge as much as she could, even until the flashing lights and wailing sirens had long faded away.

Finally, she dodged away behind a super market and took a moment to catch her breath. Setting her ball on the ground, she shifted back to her human form and doubled over, supporting herself with her hands on her knees as she heaved through the pain. For the moment, she reflected, she hadn't been followed. But was that because nobody was chasing her... or because she'd momentarily lost them? She couldn't be sure one way or the other.

"Either way, I stick out like a sore thumb..." she thought aloud to herself, "I need to find a place to hide..."

She chanced a look around, and her eyes alighted upon an old fire escape. The super market had apparently been retrofitted onto the first floor of an old two story building, and the fire escape from the second floor had gone unused for quite some time. It was too low to reach from the ground, but if she jumped on top of that dumpster there she could reach it. With little time to lose and few other options, Hestia grabbed her ball off the ground and started to climb. She nearly fell twice, but her fear and the adrenaline that still surged through her veins kept her going. Finally, she reached a broken window on the second floor and climbed inside.

The interior was just as abandoned and unloved as the exterior, but at least it meant nobody would come looking in here for her. Exhausted, she collapsed into a corner and rested herself. Night would come soon, and she'd need to find something to eat, but most important right now was staying hidden. Come morning, she decided, she'd need to head for the forest around the city. She could find peace if she got there. With a plan firmly in place, Hestia closed her eyes and allowed sleep to come.

(OOC: The sirens Hestia heard were the police and the League going to the Lodge to investigate the Club. She only thinks they were going to come after her.)

Grazia/Noibat

Noibat only narrowed her eyes as the Weasel girl saw fit to Leer at her and Charma-bitch, seeming content to let the red-head finish the fight she had started. However, she pulled her punches, not wanting to knock the other Pokemon faint. Before Noibat could comment about the redhead's soft heart, the sound of a pokeball popping open drew Noibat's eye, allowing her to bear witness to Rasa getting attacked by the runty looking Pokemon that had tried to walk off. Hmph, what does she expect after kidnapping him from his home and giving him jack shit of an explanation. . . and there goes Miss Self-Righteous right into the line of fire. Noibat turned away from the small showdown between her "Team", feeling that not only did Rasa have it coming, but that she could hold off a freakin' runt like that with little issue. If she can't take a few bites and scratches, then she shouldn't even be out here doing this. Arceus knows I don't want to be dragged to my death because this trainer's a weakling.

All that was left now was the Weasel, likely thinking that they would be able to escape easily after the ensuing chaos, and Noibat might've just let her do that too, if not for the part where the bitch had called her a deformed Zubat and insinuated she had some sort of relationship with Charma-bitch. Those weren't words that you got to walk away from, not as far as Noibat was concerned.

While the downed Yungoose tried to get up, they'd find themselves hit with a Supersonic attack as Noibat charged forward, intending to follow up the attack with a Tackle-infused kick to the face to send them skidding back along the ground. After that, she'd wait for the Yungoose to rise to their feet before moving in to finish them with a barrage of quick kicks and jabs, using her natural agility to move in and out of her opponent's reach so she could better avoid any of the likely sloppy blows they'd make if they were properly confused by her Supersonic. Unlike Meintja, she had little to no qualms about leaving them to faint in the open like this. If they were dumb enough to attack Trainer's without a backup plan for escaping, then it was exactly what the weasel bitch deserved in her eyes.

"We'll come up with a name for him later"

With Weedle captured, Gredy turned his head to answer Dante when he had the words that he had been waiting for from the people in the general direction of the police for a little while now. "You have permission to go."

Picking up the weedle's pokeball and pocketing it, he quickly scooped up Dante before he started to jog away from the riot before it got going because with the level of pokemon involved, he suspected that it would be absolutely brutal and he didn't want to be there when things started to get ugly.

It was only when he had managed to put a decent amount of distance between himself and the trainer house (and put himself and Dante in the general direction of the pokemon center) did he start to slow down and carefully put Dante back on the ground. Taking a second to catch his breath, Gredy looked at Dante and asked "If you want we can get you checked out at the center as well... no harm in that."

It was only a short trip to the Pokemon Center after that and it took even less time for Gredy to hand over Weedle's ball in order to be healed; If Dante joined him for a check up would be completely up to him. Once Weedle was returned, Gredy would let him out of the ball again to see how he was holding up now.

Route 1 - When one fight ends...

@Caits@Iatos@Raijinslayer

The orange head was soft on her, the tamed pokemon gripped her hand to stop her from avoiding the next scratch. The blood pokemon braced itself but instead of a attack, the cutie stepped away from her. Even begged a potion from its trainer for her.

"Do you have any potions? If the yungoos will accept your help. She isn't ready to be caught"

"Knew you cared, cutie." Things escalated at that moment. Apparently the ground type was a idiot for attacking a human. Didnt he knew humans would lock up pokemon who did that. Or worse? She would never do it, it caused too much trouble. Thank you very much, she liked her life living. With that conclusion she was about to stand up and escape.

Yungoos thought that in hindsight it may have not been the best idea to annoy the dragon type bat. Before she could reach the tall grass the world spinned out around her and her ears hurt. Confusion set in. A hit landed on her but she wasnt oriented enough to even tell from where it came. The purple bat came a few times in view and on just a feeling yungoos tried to blindly tackle them in return. She was missing mostly. Thougth once they managed to lucky grase Noibat. Before she could use that to throw a strong tackle, a tackle infused kick meet her chest, knocking her backwards and out.

The fainted normal pokemon, who came to help his friend in trouble, fall halfway into the tall grass. The fight was over. ( @Holy Soldier)

The tall grass shifted with motion and two small pawns reached out from between the tall grass and gripped on the yungoos fur to drag her out sight and into safety.

Rasa only warning was the pokeball shaking, vibrate almost. She only had time to glance at it in question when it once more that day opened with out her to release her pokemon. Her body reacted on instinct raising her hands to protect her face to have a moment later feel teeth bury into her forearm. Easily ruining her long sleeved shirt and breaking into her skin drawing some bit of blood. The edges of the holes of the bitten blue material slowly tainted red.

A bite attack.

Her pokemon bit her.

Why?

It came out of nowhere, and it didnt make any sense whatsoever. The shock she felt was momentarily over shadowing the pain from the attack. Thore let her arm go, and Rasa was feeling the weight of his body as he clinged to her. It was clear he was about to go for another bite. He didnt hold back, it wasnt a play bite. Like the arbok she knew liked to do. His eyes reminded Rasa of a Sharpedo ready to brutally tear its target apart. Untill there was nothing left.

She froze up.

Yet the second bite never landed, instead the weight was gone and Rasa was feeling a enjoyable warmth in her face. The warm flame of Meintje's tail was shooing away the fantom feeling of the merciless coldness of the deep sea. The tall pokemon now protecting her calling to Thore that he shouldnt attack humans.

Rasa snapped out then and took a deep breath. She was a trainer now. She will not be scared of her own pokemon. She will trust them. Show them that she cherished them. Until it gets into their thick skulls. Dropping Kaiser pokeball in her bag she had now a free hand with which she briefly touched the bite wound. It wasnt too deep luckily, his teeth were sharp but not big enough and the pain had yet to set in. Thank you adrenalin. A part of Rasa brain sighed and complained how she was out of money to buy bandages, as she didnt want to explain to the nurse in the pokecenter how she got hurt and which pokemon did it, she didnt want to get any of her pokemon in trouble. That complaining part was pushed deeper away and ignored for the moment.

"I am sure he didnt mean it. Right Kaiser." She smiled at Meintje patting her on the arm in thanks for more than just stopping the bite and walked around her and towards Thore. A trainer face their pokemon themself. Kneeing a few feet away from him and in front of Meintje she pulled out a potion. She moved slow and watched him carefully, trying not to spook him, having a open and friendly smile on her face. " Something bothering you? What is it? Can you tell me? If you are in pain let me heal you." She showed the potion trying to look as calm as possible. If she is calm and collected her pokemon should see and feel it, and be calm as well seeing their trainer had the situation under control. At least that what she was taught. She was about to find out how right or wrong this lesson was. "You beat Grazia to the punch of biting me, you know that. It may make her jealous." She joked giving a small chuckle and waiting to see Kaiser Thore reaction.

Kaiser Thore Van Deathclaw

@TalijaKey@Caits@Raijinslayer

His teeth struck flesh, it was almost with satisfaction in his glance that he knew that the taste on his tongue was the iron of blood. Yet it was not over, his wrath was not calmed that easily he was going to bite again... and again until he couldn't bite again. However before he could launch another attack, the Charmander intercepted tanking the next hit for the trainer and making Thore temporarily loose his balance and fall off the trainer and back to the ground. His warden uses this opportunity to move out of the way of the Fire type and tries to rec...not recapture or attack him. She does however aim another Device at him, forcing him to act and strike the Potion out of the trainers hands. She might not have attacked him directly but that didn't mean he didn't see her as a threat, her words remained sweet but he thought he could see through her trickery and backstabbing methods... yes she tried only to lure him into false sense of security.

He didn't Feel her emotions, he felt only rage... Her words meant nothing to him, her act equally so. He didn't see her as a Trainer, She was his enemy and he needed to defeat her, it was she that failed to see his emotions, who failed to understand the reason for his wrath. And she would pay for it... His Eyes landed on Meintja, she was in his way... and he needed to Remove her, she was a threat now... more so than the backstabbing Warden... Thus he prioriticed the Fiery Lizard and Gave her the bite she asked for... he charged her, past the trainer ignoring her for but the split moment it took to Reach Meintja and Attempt to bite her, trying to make her faint with all his might.

Pikachu

Pikachu looked up as the two trainers talked and tilted his head. Large ears twitched as he listened and formulated his own ideas. He blinked up at Seth "Peepa" he sounded like he was agreeing with his rather adorable at the moment voice. He nodded and then looked over at Jaden before catching sight of the jam jar.

Large ears straightened and before Jaden could catch the jar of jam the yellow fluff ball leaped up and caught it. Holding it with a bit of possosivness but also looked a tad fearful of possibly getting in trouble. Then they started to run so pikachu made awkward movements of running while holding a jar almost as big as himself. His ears went back as he waddled ran after the two trainers.

"I will not fight you" Meinjta said, smoothly moving out the way of the charging Kaiser, she watched him, ready to dodge again, or get in the way should he seek to attack Rasa again. She didn't know what was going on-was he a little slow? Dropped on his head? Stupid? Or just stubborn? Confused? Had something happened to him? "Damn it, don't make me hurt you" She said in frustration, not knowing what she could do, Meinjta put herself in front of Rasa once more, shifting so her body would at least protect the trainer, her tail whipping back and forth in her aggitation.

"Kaiser, please. Rasa is not your enemy. I am not your enemy. Damn it, you thick skulled....rock, Rasa wants to help. You can't walk away from that, and you can't attack her. Face it, buddy. You got caught. We all did. Suck it up, and behave. I don't want to hurt you, but I will. Because Rasa has done nothing to you but make sure you don't die, and you repay her by biting her?" She shook her head, snarling slightly.

"Don't do this, Kaiser." She held out her hands, in a peaceful display of truce.

In the safety and comfort of the pokeball, Weedle could feel himself getting healed by the delicious, magical science of the Pokecenter. Suddenly, a horizontal sliver of light cracked the darkness and expanded as whiteness engulfed him. When the light faded, Weedle found himself in the welcoming environment of the Pokecenter, and in front of him stood the human that had saved him. Weedle emerged from his ball in gijinka form, and patted himself down, verifying that his wounds had been healed. He looked up at Gredy in gratitude and awe, too starstruck to say anything.

Jaden Locke

Jaden blinked as the yellow Pikachu caught the jar in mid-air, surprised by the lengths the little electric mouse would go for their treats. As Seth made his way after the Skater, Jaden was quick to follow, giving a slight nod and wave to the Pikachu before setting off after the red haired boy. Tailing the Pokemon Club member seemed almost suspiciously easy, as he seemed to barely care about possibly being seen, putting little effort in trying to either hide himself or check for tag-alongs. Soon, the two trainers(and their own waddling tag-a-long), saw the boy descend down a hidden tunnel, but before either of them took another step, Jaden would grab Seth by the back of his shirt to stop him.

"Okay Seth, if we're going in there, we need a game plan of some kind. Criminal types like these. . . they tend not to take kindly to intruders. . . *sigh* I thank you for coming this far with me, but I can't in good conscious ask you to follow me down into such a dangerous situation to fix a screw-up I caused with my own negligence. Not only that, but one of us needs to tell the local law enforcement of this facility, especially if given the almost certain fact that I'll likely get caught down there." Kneeling down to the ground as the Pikachu from earlier finally caught up with them, he reached out to gently take the jam bottle from their paws with an apologetic smile, before turning back to Seth."Since I'm the only one of the two of us that has Pokemon, then I believe that it'd be best if I go down there to get Vix while you make sure that these guys can't away with their con again, 'kay? I won't try to stop me if you follow, but it doesn't accomplish much if we both get caught, does it?"

Giving Seth and the Pikachu a slight wave, Jaden pocketed the jam as he made his way to the hidden entrance, climbing down at a slow, quiet pace, fearful of the possible echoes that might alert the people within to his presence. As he made it to the ground floor, he was able to catch the tail end order of the conversation between the Girl and the Boy from Viridian City. Keeping low, Jaden eye'd his surroundings, his gaze fixating on the sight of pokemon floating within several tubes of green ooze. Too many people to take on. . . and still no sign of Vix. Shit, where could she possibly be? Cursing under his breath, he looked at each of the pokemon being held in some sort of stasis, looking over each of them before finally landing on the form of a pale woman, her form surrounded and somewhat by nine flowing white tails. [i]I doubt that they know where Vix is being held, but if I can get those pokemon out of those containment pods, then maybe I'll be able to take this place. Of course, they may be in cahoots and I could be making the problem worse, but as it is, I don't have many other options." Taking a low breath, Jaden crept slightly out from his hiding spot behind some machinery, waiting for a good moment to cross a gap and make his way towards the capsules. What he'd do once he got there. . . well, he'd cross that bridge when he came to it.

Grazia/Noibat

"Hmph, got what you deserved, damn rodent, thinking she can get away with callin' me that bitch's lover. I'd rather gag myself on Grimer slime. Turning away from the Yungoose's unconscious body, Noibat began to walk slowly to where Rasa and Meintja were busy trying to talk sense into the runt. On her way over to the group, she took a moment to pick up too small rocks, tossing tossing them back and forth between her hands as she watch the chaos continue to unfold. It was only after Meintja gave her little speech that she decided that these two were much too soft to get a hold of this runt. While she didn't blame him for pitching a fit, she knew that his behavior would just get him into trouble with the human police, and they'd likely kill him for it. Tch, damn humans. Take us from our homes and families, then act all surprised when some of us aren't exactly jumping at the bit to be their lap dogs.

The two rocks would soon be sent flying through the air, striking both Meintja and Kaiser in the head as Noibat took a deep breath.

"SHUT UP!!!!!"

She let out a loud Supersonic-infused shout, aimed mostly at the small runt but also possibly catching Meintja as well. After that, she'd simply run up and punt Kaiser's tiny frame while they were (hopefully) confused, sending them skidding across the ground. Noibat, on the other hand, would take a second to let out a few choice curses, since Kicking the small rock type had felt like. . . well, kicking an actual rock, if a somewhat squishy one. "Gah, you dumb little shit! If you want to pick a damn fight so bad, then I'll be glad to give you one!" Shaking the numbness out of her foot, Noibat took a stance, cracking her knuckles a bit as she waited for the little brat to throw another temper-tantrum. While she prepped, she turned to look at Rasa and Meintja, daring them to interfere. "I can tire this little guy out easy, Charma-bitch, so make sure she doesn't get anymore bite marks for those pink-haired nurses to notice, ye? Otherwise, this little idiots going to get offed for being 'dangerous'." Noibat spat the word out like a curse before turning her attention back to Kaiser, readying herself for the coming skirmish.

Weedle

Gredy's question brought Weedle out of his reverie. "I...I feel fine...great, even..." Weedle said, looking up at Gredy in admiration. Though still wary of the cyndaquil, Weedle had registered the fire-type as a non-threat since it accompanied the human who had saved him. "I don't really understand what happened though. There was a light, then a calm darkness, then I started to feel better, another flash of light, and now I'm here. I just know that you saved me." Weedle started fidgeting, suddenly feeling very shy.

Dante

When Gredy scooped him up, Dante reverted to his Pokemon form to make it easier on the trainer. The Cyndaquil looked up at Gredy when he gave him the option to get checked out at the center or not. He went with him to the center, and the nurses looked him over, giving his belly a soothing patch before they released him.

Dante stood by while Gredy spoke to the Weedle. From what he could understand, the Weedle was a scaredy cat, and he thought he had been one. The Cyndaquil rose off of his paws, transforming into a human boy. He brushed down his sweater and gazed at the Weedle through his slanted eyes.

“You were inside a Pokeball and you were healed inside the Pokecenter,” Dante explained. He only knew such facts because he had a former trainer.

There was a moment of silence as Dante looked the bug Pokemon over, and then turned to Gredy to ask, “What do we do with him now?”

Rasa noticed Thore eyeing the potion in her hand. Her hopes raising that he was in pain and would let her heal her. It never occurred to her that there would be any pokemon who wouldnt know what a potion is. So when instead of coming closer so she could spray him, Kaiser came closer and swatted the bottle out her hand Rasa was caught in surprise. The bottle she didnt even hold that strongly in her hand went flying and hit the ground with a noticeable clang. When she looked where the bottle landed she saw the crack on the glass and the precious liquid leaking out.

Oh, look. Apparently he doesnt want to get healed. This is absolutely great! Does he think money grows on trees. Now I am down to one pokeball and one potion and its still a question if my tent survived the night or not. I desperately need to defeat trainers and earn some money.... Maybe take on a night job.

The complaining part in her mind spoke in pure annoyance counting all the loss she had, as she observed how Kaiser was going after Meintja. She didnt know what to do. Should she call Meintja back to protect her? Should she call both back? No, somehow Kaiser could leave the ball at will. Should she order a scratch? That didnt feel right to do. Hurting the pokemon you are supposed to cherish.

"You will not make it a week as a trainer on your own. Stay home." The voice of her sister echoed in her ears. A memory of long ago briefly flashed behind her eyelids. She wasnt that little girl anylonger. She wanted to do this. She ... could do this...

Rasa took a breath in pulling the strap of her bag of her shoulder. Letting it rest on the ground. Her wince from moving her arm was lost in the supersonic that Grazia let off. The bite on her arm started to make itself noticeable. The fabric around it had absorbed most of the blood. Even so it still bleed.

Rasa stood up. It didnt matter if she already near bankruptcy on her second day. She would find ways to earn some pokedollars. She will balance the numbers, that she knew how to do. That she did for several years. But now she will do to provide for her pokemon and not to help out her parents. That what means to be taking responsibility.

There were things a trainer is responsible for.

The well being of their pokemon.

Seeing both Meintja and Grazia trying to fight Thore, now Grazia trying to pin the smaller pokemon with her bigger gijinka form down while Kaiser was thrashing and biting around. Rasa was sure at least one of those bites did land on their target. This situation wasnt their responsibility. Neither of them had to do this. They choose to help her, for whichever reason. She was thankful. "Meintja, Grazia if you want to help me, could you tell me if this is normal for Kanto pokemon?" Rasa asked as she picking Thores pokeball out the bag. She pushed past Meintja and moved in front of Thore. She placed the pokeball down so he could see it and easily reach it if he so wanted and Rasa moved away from it. Sitting on the earth just to be out of the reach of the pokeball.

Rasa looked directly at Kaiser Thore. His eyes were still scary. Yet she pushed herself not to react. She smiled once more, if she didnt do anything... She wanted to stop this. She didnt want any of her pokemon to suffer. They didnt have to get hurt now. If she is a good trainer they will not. "If you let me, I want to make you stronger. Strong enough to never lose a fight. I dont want to hurt you. Please." Her fingers twitched from the pain that was gradually growing and feeling as if it was starting to burn. She will have to get it cleaned soon. "I want to care for you, for all of you. Can you let me?"

"Grazia, thank you for tiring him out some. But let Kaiser now go, leave with Meintja to the pokecenter to both get healed. I will catch up. " Rasa said never stopping to look at the ground type. She had to figure out what was that caused him this rage and pain like this. So she could make sure to fix it. In which ever way she can think off.

Kaiser Thore Van Deathclaw

@TalijaKey@Caits@Raijinslayer

His focus was narrow, tunnel vision as adrenaline pumped in his veins. His judgement was poor, and unimportant senses was shutting down one by one. He needed to win... he didn't know exactly how long he 'danced' around with Meintja, using every opportunity to launch another attack, another bite... his power was dropping by the minute, rocks were thrown at him... attacks from other sources... he hardly heard the Super Sonic even if he felt the effects brush by him, his vision turned red as he turned to see a bat come his way in slow motion. The Supersonic had missed, yet a second attack came his way again he didn't move out of the way, didn't dodge he dug down blocked... and aligned his body as he slammed one claw down into the ground as he skidded back.

He needed more power, he couldn't win... he could feel his power drain away from him... fight... or flight... he knew he couldn't get away, yet he realized he couldn't fight. Their voices, started coming back to him slowly. He didn't want it to end like this, death before captivity... yet he didn't want to die, not yet... he gritted his teeth, spat blood and gazed at his opponents, there was three of them now.... bad odds, he could not flee... they would hunt him down, he could win fighting... yet he did not want to submit. One last attack... yes, perhaps that was all he would get. He would take something down with him, he gathered all his remaining strength.

His focused, grew... and as he shifted to his Gijinka form he was down on one knee. His wounds were obvious, yet he pushed himself... he stood. His breath was heavy, body shaking... his eyes was looking at his opponents sharply and not quite filled with rage like before. This... this was his last stand. "Larv tar larvitar, tar-i-tar La...rvi..tar" 'This is not, the end, not... even cl..ose' he aid as he fiercly stepped forward, looking like he would throw all he had into a final assault, yet his strength failed in the end, his energy left him and his eyes just turned blank as he fell straight forward a tree that had been cut down. He fainted on the spot, probably to hurt himself in the fall if nothing else. He would like other Mons go back to his Pokémon form after fainting.

Pikachu

Pikachu looked from seth to Jaden and tilted his head. He then nodded in agreement to seth his green eyes concentrated as he continued to hold the jam. Then, Jaden took the jam. Small paws grasped at the jar and he blinked confused. "peepa" In his pokemon form he seemed more adorable then his more grumpy side. It could be the food...or it could be the smaller skull. At least no one had called him cute yet to snap him out of it. Another head tilt as he listened to Jaden speak again. Another wave of confusion as Jaden waved and began to leave.

Now with full access to all his paws, Pikachu ran after Jaden and stopped next to him. His tiny black nose twitched as he inhaled scents. Wide green eyes took in the surroundings and landed on the woman in the tube. Pikachu began to tug on Jaden's pant leg to try to get his attention as he frantically started to gesture toward the woman with the tails in the tube. He recognized her as a nine tails, but something was off. It could be the tube or even the liquid surrounding her, but Pikachu felt a surge of urgency when looking at her. His black nose twitching furiously as he sniffed.

Charma-bitch? How original. "WHatever, batty. We all know you like to show off" She said, stepping back to Rasa, but honestly she was glad to not have to fight a team mate, even if Kaiser didn't seem to recognise that they were a team. As she was ordered to go, Meinjta shook her head. "No. I'm not leaving you" Aside from the fact that she didn't particularly wish to go anywhere with Grazia, it seemed wise to stay near Rasa. She seemed entirely too trusting.

Watching the scene, Meinjta did however stay back. She recognised when she wouldn't be much use, but she was still ready to jump inand defend Rasa if she had to. What would she be without a trainer, after all? She didn't know what happened to captured pokemon when their trainers died. That was a distressing thoughht, and Meinjta shifted uneasily.

When Kaiser fainted, she let out a slow breath, relieved.

The scientists continued to work, taking no notice of the intruders just yet. They were preparing for their next experiment, gathering around a green pod that had a Rattata. The rodent Pokemon looked to be drowning in the liquid as it kicked and thrashed about, its breath leaving in various bubbles. Several white coats with notepads stood around the tank as another scientist pressed buttons on the console next to it. He grasped a handle and pushed it upwards, and the entire tank flashed. Coils of lightning bounced up and down the tank’s outer walls as the Rattata became engulfed in the white light of evolution. The small form of the rodent swelled to the larger round form of its next evolution Raticate. As the light faded, the Pokemon ceased struggling and went limp, its whole body exhausted from the forced transformation. The scientists started scribbling on their pads.

The lab was mostly quiet, the only noise being the hum of the machines and the every now and then electrical blast of the EVO machine, blasting another Pokemon into their next form. The machine seemed to work differently for those Pokemon that could only be evolved by stones or special tasks.

Over on the wall, there was an alarm button in a glass case.

Jaden Locke

Just a little bit more. . . Jaden watched the movements of each and every scientist carefully from his little hiding place. Just when he was about to make his move, however, he felt a sudden tugging at his pant leg, causing his head to whip around to face what could only be one of the other figures in the lab ready to drag him off to Arceus knows where. Luckily for him, he was able to hold his terror, as the unknown entity turned out to only be the Pikachu from earlier, frantically gesturing at one of the containment pods, the one that held the Nine-tails. I wonder what that could be about. . . well, I was going to wake one up anyway, so why not choose her. Now I just need to get over there. . .

Jaden placed his backpack down on the ground, carefully unzipping it so that the Pikachu would be able to get in once again while he kept an eye out for any stray scientists coming his way. Once the creature was safely tucked away, Jaden put the bag back on as he waited for another moment to run out, his eyes scanning the area before him for a path across the way. As he did so, he noticed the fate of the poor Rattata, feeling a sense of unease at the sight of the Pokemon being forced to evolve like that. It seemed wrong in every sense of the word, but right now there was little he could do to stop it.

Once the path was clear, he quickly sneaked across the way, holding his breath for one of the scientist to turn and spot him at any moment now. However, that moment never seemed to come, and he was able to make his way through the facility seeming free of notice. As he walked, he couldn't help but notice the tantalizing red of the alarm button. . . .I do need a distraction but. . . *ugh*, I don' have any other real options do I. Taking a breath as he sneaked closer to the big red button, quickly jabbed at it with his fingers, pushing it down as quickly and quietly as possible before diving behind some nearby machinery, watching for whatever consequences his actions might have created and hoping to high-heaven that he didn't just doom himself.
