I don't like to rush people but you guys are kinda taking a while. I was actually planning on starting the new arc and introducing Link mechanics before Link Monsters actually hit the physical game. At the rate we're going, it seems the first Link Monsters will be out before they're introduced. They come out in a little over a week, just by the by.

Any room for new players? I stopped paying attention to yu-gi-oh when pendulum summoning became a thing but it probably isn't too hard to learn.

@ZardoricPendulum is literally you set one pendulum monster on one side and another on the other if they have different numbers you can special summon from hand or other pendulum monsters in between those 2 numbers like if you 3 and 5 you can only special summon level 4 or if you have 1 and 10 you summon anything from 2-9

and this is why i should remember when i have 2 tabs of the same page open... oops double post because im a bloody idiot

Hey, I'm a very patient guy. I'm just glad I haven't messed up so far. The wait is long, sure, but it gives me time to plan out possible stuff for my character. And draw. Drawing is nice.

Speaking of which, with Link Monsters coming out, will we be using the official Link Monsters (if we decided to use them), or will we be able to make a Custom Link Monster once the rules are in place?

Would it be okay with you guys if I had Tekkan give Fyodor a custom card around the start of the third arc? If so, should I post it in this thread or in a PM?

Also, just like @Zepavil, I'm wondering if you want us to only use official Link Monsters or if we can make customs.

If the currently released Link Monsters can fit in your deck thematically and mechanically, you can totally use them. Likewise, if you think you understand Link Monster mechanics well enough, you can go ahead and try and make one. I have a template already in the OP as well as an example for one under the list of custom cards.

Also, if you want the card to be plot significant, PM me and Blight Bug. Otherwise, just post it here.

I didn't want to timeskip because the other two might still want to fight and we don't even know the results. They might pull a surprise victory from the jaws of defeat because that's how Yugioh works.

Also I edited the post. Stole Hootcake instead of Messengelato.

It's not super plot-significant, just a sort of gift from Tekkan to Fyodor. Something he managed to pick up at a card shop and that he thought would fit with Fyodor's deck:

Speed Demon
Level 6 DARK Zombie-type Effect Monster
2200 / 1500
(This card is always treated as an "Archfiend" card.)
If you control a face-up "Dokurorider" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If this card is Special Summoned: You can Special Summon up to 3 "Headless Rider Tokens" (Zombie-type/DARK/Level 3/ATK 900/DEF 0) in Attack Position, and if you do, any battle damage your opponent takes for the rest of this turn is halved. You can only Summon 1 "Speed Demon" per turn.

Instead of say, Iunno I am just gonna throw out a random plot line deal here (feel free to roll with this hypothetical or not it is mostly here as a demonstrative purpose), stealing the Speed Demon card from a seedy nightclub ran by Yakuza, [Don't ask why the Yakuza are making a night club near rice paddies.] in order to show off he is willing to be even riskier than initially assumed for Fyodor?

Plot hooks are fun or can be fun. Imagine the shenanigans.
