Tiber Septim realized that he couldn't win against the Elves, so he made a truce with the Dunmer and got a giant Robot to beat the Dominion.

He conquered Tamriel through the power of metal, and transcended mortality with his kickass bass riffs. The reason the Thalmor want him gone is because he's far too powerful for their Top 40 to deal with.
