Question: in this current time line have the basis for the civil war been laid out or would that be something to discuss for another day. I'm planning out story plots and while I like the idea of the civil war I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to introduce it so early in the game?

I don't think we're anywhere near a "Civil War" like story arc yet. The Avengers have only been around for about a month and (from what I recall) they haven't done that much yet.

Spectacular Spider-Man was created by Sony. Eventually, there was some deal where Marvel regained their control over Spider-Man's television rights. Therefore, the Sony series ended, and the Marvel/Disney one began.

Young Justice on the other hand... >.<

As much as I hate to admit it, the toy thing does make sense. It was funded mostly by a toy deal and when the toy sales weren't sufficiently profitable, they pulled their funding and the show didn't have the money to keep going.

It's frustrating and crappy, especially given how awful recent animated DC features have been, but it had a reason.

Heard rumours recently about Netflix picking it up since they brought the 2 seasons onto the service, but there's not been any word (although considering Netflix success rate on their own produced/funded shows and the cult following the show already has, I imagine there have been/will be meetings on it.)

I actually completely forgot about that. Makes sense, in a way. Not saying Ultimate is bad, I just don't like the anime-esqe tones to it (not saying I don't like anime either XD)

It's shitty for the fans, I completely agree, but one can't blame the producers or the networks for it. No one said "hmmm, kids like this show but I'd rather put power rangers in the slot". Almost all kids shows are paid for in similar ways and if the money's not there, no one can do anything. If anyone is to blame, it's parents for not buying enough of the toys for their kids.

And yeah, I heard the buzz about a season 3 on Netflix. Seems to be just chatter at the moment with nothing official from Netflix but who knows? I'd love to see another season.

I remember seeing a clip from an Episode of Teen Titans Go where Aqualad (reprises his role and same voice actor as Cyborg), Ms. Martian (unvoiced), and Superboy (unvoiced) make an appearance. The conversation between Aqualad and Robin is just so meta that I cannot help but smile (however, they also did an episode that used footage from the original Teen Titans series and I swear that clip murdered the childhoods of many people).

As much as I dislike the recent crop of DC movies (Son of Batman, Thrones of Atlantis, Bad Blood), DC can make top tier animated series. Batman the Brave and the Bold will forever be perhaps my favourite on screen Batman.
