Would anyone's character happen to need a taxi to anyplace? That seems to me like a fairly good way to get Nick meeting people.

Hmm... I guess Shizu could use a relaxed taxi ride from the airport back home since as mentioned in Haru's diary entry, he just came back from a shitstorm in Taipei, lol.

What would you say about a mentally unstable metahuman named Hector (this pun is so good it's completely retarded, yes), whose power is to immediately notice and gradually amplify one of three biggest flaws in any sort of system he concentrates on?

For example, the character notices a minute, tiny crack or chink in the load-bearing wall or a piece of armour, concentrates on it and the crack begins to grow and widen really quickly until the wall collamses, while armour begins to rust over and enlarge it's vulnerable spot until it reveals all of the enemy's back.

Or, for example, this power may allow the character to notice that while a martial artist's style is all-around strong and capable, footwork receives the least amount of attention, and he worsens that flaw until the aforementioned artist literally can't stand properly, tripping over his own feet - or if in the mental composition of this man, fear or anxiousness are strongest negative emotions, they will worsen and gradually grow stronger and stronger until he drops everything and runs away crying in terror or just stands in place completely unsure of what to do and how to act even if his life depends on quick thinking.

The first weakness i have in mind is that as he worsens the flaws of others, his own negative traits amplify accordingly, until he suffers a major mental breakdown or temporarily goes completely nuts in a different way. Maybe he can also be defeated by ceasing to rely on one's flawed aspects or parts of personality - i.e, in case of the aforementioned martial artist, completely disregard the footwork and fight using some boxing techniques.

Though, some people have expressed concerns about him being able to basically weaken everything he comes across.

Since this power is dangerously close to "instant win button," or "I can defeat anyone," you can limit to inanimate objects so that would still keep the playing field even and not be one of the two.

Still, I'm not exactly fond of this power to begin with tbh - and you should go with a different power.

Yah, we know each other. Often get in games together and play tabletop through Skype and Discord whenever not doing forum thingeys. There's actually five of us, PM if you're interested in doing BFG or Warhammer 40k through Vassal.

While I take too damn long to write up the first IC post (Because I still play too many vidya games), bide your time with some character exercises!

• Provide a quote of your character describing their own morality.
  
• Someone is getting mugged/assaulted in an alleyway! What does your character do?
  
• Your character has invited someone to dinner, where will they go?

Rori:

• "I just want everyone to accept everyone else, and to enjoy life. Nobody is more important... So I wouldn't put one life over another."
• Rori would almost definitely call the police, and probably their cousin. Theyd maybe step in but they can't exactly fight
• Rori doesn't particularly have any favourite food places, so they'd probably just choose somewhere close to where they live. Not too fancy, of course

Max:

• "Im pretty sure I fight for the right side, whether it's good or not. I mean I did do a bunch of shit when I was younger, but whatever. Im a RAVEN now so that means I'm at least slightly good, right?"
• If there was a mugging happening Max would step in, whether she was equipped to help or not
• Max would take someone out to a burger joint, or some kind of pizza place

Lihn:

• "I help people with my job, and I like helping people. But my family is more important than anything."
• Lihn would do something - but it would depend on who she is with. She would maybe step in if alone, but she would call the police or make a fuss of Thanh was with her
• Traditional Vietnamese restaurant, probably - or they'd eat in because of Thanh

Kei:

• "Eh, I'm not a bad person. Not really good either. Id rather people didn't die or anything, but I don't particularly care. Not my business."
• If Kei didn't know the person he'd probably walk past or call the police, he'd step in if he did know them (and liked them)
• Probably a nice Japanese restaurant, or a general seafood place. Kei really likes seafood

Geoff:

• "Im still a kid - well a teenager. I don't exactly give a fuck about 'doing the right thing.' That's for adults. Im just enjoying my life."
• Geoff would almost definitely just walk past, unless he really liked the person
• Depends on how much he likes the person. If he disliked them he'd take them to a cheap fast food place. If he liked them it wouldn't be much more expensive; probably a niceish fish and chips place.
