Hi everyone, so sorry for the late reply, very busy day, but so far everyone looks like very good characters, should turn out really well in how they work together.

So, the whole guitar thing, totally understandable, but i Am going to say that guitar is not one of the concert instruments. I will however say that Jazz band is an extra curricular, in which guitar is gladly accepted, but one must also play something in band, even if that is just a touch of drums. I may establish some sort of club collection, that way I can keep track of all things everyone does.

I was also thinking of making up a relationship form, Since these people have typically known each other since middle school, they typically would have at least some sort of relationship, especially if in band.

But those that these comments don't apply to, your characters are accepted! Please put the finished forms into the character place, and if I do go forward with the other ideas, you can just edit those in.

If anyone has any thoughts on anything, please ask, I know I wrote a lot, sorry about that.

Tudor Hughes

Tudor is rather tall for his age, standing at 6". He has thick raven black hair the curls at the bottom and a fringe that cover his forehead and right eye. He has fair skin and deep-set, cold grey eyes, like steel. He has a reasonable amount of stubble that he tries to get rid of for school, but it keeps on coming back, much to his chagrin. His wardrobe consists of polo shirts, slacks, and jeans.

A wunderkind on the flute, he dabbles in piano and double bass.

Personality:
Tudor isn't exactly the nicest guy in Band, but he doesn't mean to be. He is usually withdrawn, quiet, and unintentionally rude. Though he has been in America for a year now, he resents people who ask about why he transferred schools and moved from Wales. Who wants to talk about 16 years of busking, slumming it, bullying, and poverty? Not Tudor, that's for sure. Standoffish around most, he tends to get red in the face around some girls that he deems as 'pretty.' The people he get along with are the people he feels understand him and his strange ways. He is loyal and kind to them, but he doesn't make friends the easily.

Tudor is a member of book club, even though he looks down on the choice of literature.

Jacinta stands at the tiny height below her best friend at 5'1". She poasessed quite a slim figure. As far as style goes Jacinta claim she has none, she tends to dress for how she's feeling, the weather and comfort over anything else. She keeps her make-up quite natural in most occasions, however, occasionally colours her lips bright red.

Age: 17
Instruments: Bb clarinet, however, can (and has) played Eb bass Clarinet and Soprano saxophone for the band if they need a playerin those sections
Personality: Jacinta doesn't have a particular 'natural' talent, however, what she does have is a lot of determination and will work her fingers to the bone to achieve what she wants. With this she still tends to not achieve as high as those who work on their natural ability making them high flyers which lives Jacinta not a huge standout in, well, anything much to her frustration. Jacinta is rather shy toward those who she doesn't know to at least a decent extent, she doesn't quite avoid them, however, won't say much or take much notice to them unless they approach her. Those close enough to though to opens up to completely, joking around at time and such. She has quite the kind heart and gentle nature, she's a good go-to to cry on, however, often goes unnoticed. She wants the best from her friends and will try and push them to pit in more effort if she notes them not doing so. She easily stressed and doubts herself greatly and when she is stressed she's prone to snapping at her friends.
Other: Despite choir Jacinta isn't in many extra-curricular activities or 'clubs' per se, however, she joins a lot of school teams for academic and musical school competitions.

Because you said that people that choose a jazz band instrument also must have a regular band instrument, and my character does play guitar but also plays drums.

So, is that okay to be accepted?

I might change the appearance for Tobias. I never really play a different race than Caucasian, and I just realized that.

But Andrew Garfield's face fits so perfectly ...

Such a hard choice, maybe I'll make another character sometime if that's okay.

@Erklings25 The GM said if you have an band instrument, or have an jazz band instrument but also plays a regular band instrument you are accepted.

But you still might as well ask them. I was just making sure my CS was okay even though I read what they said correctly.

@Erklings25 yes yes accepted, I may miss some things, I'm doing this from my phone for most of the day, so I'll try not to miss anyone but apologize if I do, but currently everyone is accepted, I'll probably work on the whole extracurricular thing and make a small little form about relationships tonight as well but I'm out most of the day without an actual computer, trying though

It might be a bit too early to begin thinking about this, but I'll do it anyway.

Potential Plot Points!

• Someone's trumpet/flute/clarinet was found snapped in half! Who did it? Was it one of the snotty chorus/orchestra kids? Was it a member of the same instrument, who didn't like all the competition? Perhaps it was just a random band member, tired of how haughty the section was? Everyone's a suspect!

• It's that time of year- the National Band Assessments! They compete against bands from all across the country to determine who is the best band!
Imagine someone saying: "We got into the NBA finals!"

• Obligatory romance! Drama ensues!

• Field trip to some random theme park! Chaos ensues!

• Chair placements! Gasp!

And, if @zeldaz will allow it-- the band, orchestra, and chorus are all mortal enemies!

• The city's hosting a music festival, and they want a music program to perform! The problem is, which one? Sabotage and wacky hijinks ensue.

• It's near the end of the year, and soon to be freshmen are deciding if what electives they want. The band, orchestra and chorus kids are supposed to do a presentation together! The problem is, they hate each other with a fiery passion!

• Forbidden love!

• The district's cutting funding for all the music programs! Now the programs have to band together to convince the district to give it back!

• The band teacher and the chorus/orchestra teacher get married!

I'm a sap for romances, so I greatly encourage that, as for the other plot ideas I do like them and I have a bunch of my own ideas, but when I get to a computer I'll pull all those things together and go through my concerns and what not, but if anyone has any ideas as well please put them out there I would love to know!

Grover is short, standing at a mere 5 feet 2 inches. He is not the most in-shape person, either. However, it's nothing out of the ordinary.

Instruments:
Mainly tuba/sousaphone, but is just as good at euphonium.

Personality:
Grover's the kind of person that it's impossible to stay sad around. He's funny, sweet, and a tad naive. He loves to have fun, and is quite reckless in his pursuit of it. He's good with feelings, and by extension, girls. But he's not what anyone would call 'boyfriend material'. It's his mission to be friends with everyone, and so far, he's succeeding. This mission causes him to be too agreeable, and finds it hard to say 'no'. Grover is extremely irresponsible, but is quite dedicated to the things he cares about: music, and his friends.
This happy-go-lucky personality is really a facade, but no one has seen what lies underneath.

Other:
Plays cello, violin, and dabbles in the mandolin. He is a very good writer, and speaks a bit of Spanish.

Also: A lot of people in the RP can play more than one instrument. I can play a few, but is this how most musicians are?

@bix Most musicians I know can as can I.
I can't speak for the others but the instruments I put Jacinta down as being able to play are instruments that are easily transitions from the clarinet in fingering and technique :3
I know a lot of musicians and I think only 2 of them know one instrument (and this is not including vocals)
