Meh, dropped the Ogre idea, then.
I just go back to the Uruk name and then enjoy the hilarity as other nations confuse me with the green cannibalistic Orruk scum.

I can fix Arrak's warp blade. Goatmen I'll cut out since I agree with you, and they just don't fit with Dark Elves. Werebears, I think should stay. They are technically Beastmen, yes, but they come from a race of Beastmen that was isolated from the other tribes for hundreds of years.

I don't really see the Werebears as much as Beastmen as much as I just see them like forest animals that the Dark Elves have taken, corrupted and possessed like the ents.

So if I were to fix Arrak's warp blade and remove Goatmen, then may I place my app in the Characters Tab?

I don't think people addressed this when I asked about army size earlier, but one of my main weaknesses is the fact I have less numbers than most. This is even evident despite the fact that about 2/3rds of a Dwarf hold population is fighting fit, contrasting the usual (historical) 1/4th of a human settlement is. So just keep in mind that if you ever fight my guys, and you don't specify that your force is small, generally I'll assume your army size is bigger than mine. My main focus is a moderate to low size army made up of powerful/elite units.

I'm going for a mixed, varied force. Each part having it's own weaknesses. Undead have unbreakable morale, but you take out the necromancer animating them and the whole army goes to dust, for example.

...Granted.

If my time in Warhammer Total War has taught me anything, it's that any problem can be solved by finding the right amount of skeletons to throw at it.

@OphidianMy morale is a huge strength too, being a determined and stubborn as fuck race. But it's hard to beat mindless skeletons in a sense of duty

The Beastmen army is basically a horde focused on all offense and specifically charging/shock and awe with a bit of terror. They'll flatten you if you aren't prepared to receive them and will rofl-stomp your ass into the ground but once they get stuck in and no longer able to do cycle charges, that when shit tends to go south for them.

I thought it was if you threw enough Imperial Guardsmen Zombies at the problem the problem would go away.

However that does bring up the question of if one can throw too many undead at a problem thus being unable to solve the problem.

Skeletons can even solve being attacked by other skeletons! Even if those skeletons outnumber you!

Tie them down in melee and then send a giant bat monster to rip off the enemy necromancer's head and stuff it up his arse!

Okay so this is a joint skeleton=bat monster solution but.....

You have inspired a quote, good sir, for one of my heroes:

"This is the truth of war. Twelve mangy dogs can kill a lion."
— Doge Carcius, on Undead.

But the thing is, what if there's 13 mangy dogs? Do they all wonder who the fuck this new guy is and try to verbally roast him while the lion comes in and kill them all thus proving that if you apply too many undead, the problem will not fix itself.

Ah. I see now.

Clearly, the solution is dire bats!

I once made a custom Vampire Count for a Warhammer Fantasy RP.

He was adorable, honestly.

Imagine this scary Vampire Count, jumping up and down beneath a tree, because a Grave Guard's head got lodged in it from one of those damned imperial cannon vollies and he has to have the head to reanimate it and you'd....be pretty close.

You just need to tactically enough apply bats/skeletons until you fix the issue!

Generally my total war strategy is (and this will most likely be useful in this setting too).

>Be Dwarfs
>Outlast people in melee
>shoot the fuck out of them with cannons, guns, grenades, and crossbows while the melee fighters hold them
>???
>profit
