Magic: N/A but hoping to learn the Spiritual Arts eventually

Do you mean the ability to contract spirits, or do you mean the ability to control od? Because they are both technically "spiritual arts".

Also even if your character does not have a "gate" capable of utilizing magicks in any meaningful way, everyone still has an element attached to their gate. N/A would imply that your gate is collapsed, which in a word would be "bad".

I was thinking of the ability to contract spirits, or the potential to at least. So, take out the N/A part?

Yeah just slap on an element and call it a day. Even if you are terrible at traditional magic, everyone has a "gate".
