I think they'd keep in close contact as much as they can via scroll. Perhaps they didn't get the chance to partner up during the team formations due to bad luck?

We should have had our team discussion a lot sooner. Now that the first post is up, where should we be, and what is our team fighting style, all that crap.

Most of us are limited to short range combat. Necro's Midas does has medium range, and while my character can fight at long range, there's the chance of friendly fire. So.... not all that great in terms of team composition.

Most importantly, though.... who is team leader?

Well, if almost everybody is a tough close range fighter, then that gives them the natural strategy of crowding the opponents and wearing them down through attrition. On the subject of team leader, we might want to think about team dynamics a little. Of the characters, Midas and Felicia the only ones who strike me as actually wanting to lead. I believe Thomas would get along well with Carnel, have a long running feud with Midas, and I don't know about Felicia. Maybe the team is a very dysfunctional, perhaps finding chess pieces by chance doesn't always guarantee good chemistry.

And the post is up! Sorry for taking so long everyone! A side note, to make things a little easier for myself you all are on the same ship. That way I won't have to struggle with getting you all together and we can get into the meat of this roleplay and pass the prologue xP

For now, take this time for minor character interactions, or if your character can't speak out of sheer shock, lets at least hear their input because I'm sure there's something to contribute... not like anything is going to go wrong or anything.

@Sho Minazuki I'm sorry that you couldn't make it in. If you wish not to stay in the reserves then that is your choice, I understand your reasoning for this, but I implore you to stay patient. Regardless of what happens, I hope to roleplay with you again in the future.

My only requirement is that I'm in it very early on, not necessarily the very beginning. If there's a slot of some sort, I can fill it. Doesn't have to be a student.

Basically if the slot opens too late, I won't be able to join. Right now the RP has started from stuff I've already watched from the show, so it's not too bad, but if we get into more personal and specific stuff before I'm in, I'll have a rough time following and likely need everyone to summarize what's happened. I want to avoid having to ask everyone what's happening.

@CadenGallic Sorry for not seeing this sooner , missed this post when I last checked the roleplay.
I think Jaden is probably the character most suited to being the teams leader,so no complaints from me there, Basil will probably find him incredibly annoying alot of the time but I'm sure he can look past that when he needs to. Combat wise, you pretty much put Basil where I'd imagine him to be; not in the middle of the action wearing down opponents and picking off any stragglers with his pistol , but still being able to fight off any close up attackers with his melee weapons if he needs to.

Overall the team looks pretty competent combat wise, possibly getting into unnecessary fights if Jaden is the leader, but still strong.

Lloyd wouldn't want to be team leader, requires too much strategy from him. He would let someone else be team leader and brag about how kind he is to allow someone else to take the position.
