He was close to him, so very close and he could smell his scent. It was intoxicating, to say the least, and he felt his hand squeeze his bicep which made him smile internally, externally he had a stern face as he started weaving the spell with his hands.

"Hold your breath," he stated as he finished the lock with his finger. Within minutes they had vanished and reappeared on the outside of a large building. Music could be heard blaring and Caleb caught Samantha out of the corner of his eye talking to some guy who he was sure would be her personal assistant after tonight. She had that effect on men, and it was very shocking to witness. There were people everywhere. Some on the front porch, some out in the yard talking and drinking spiked punch, and others could be seen through the open front door dancing in the living room which had been transformed into a dance floor. Caleb smirked as he took it all in, the smell of alcohol, the smell of cigarettes and another interesting smell that he knew would have to avoid. He could see someone in the distance at the corner of the house firing up what looked like a skinny rolled up piece of paper. The smell was strong, but he looked over at Ambrose and smiled.

"Welcome to the party," he said leading the way and introducing Ambrose to people as they walked towards the entrance. "You want to stay away from Rachel, she will try to seduce you in like ten seconds if you're not careful. Sad to say almost everyone at BlackBrick has either had her once or knows about her promiscuity. I mean they probably say the same thing about me, but the longest relationship I've ever been in was about 3 years. I guess he got bored with me and wanted to 'taste the waters' whatever the hell that means," Caleb said making small conversation as they reached the open front door and slid in.

"That's Alex," Caleb said pointing to a very attractive chocolate toned man standing in the kitchen making mixed drinks. "He's a junior and a crazy skilled mixologist. Be careful, though, he's known to get people wasted. That is where you go if you want a drink." Caleb continued waving at people who yelled his name and acknowledged him. "There's two bathrooms on the first floor and four bedrooms upstairs as well as an addition two bathrooms. The dance floor is right there, I don't know if you like to groove or not," Caleb added as he slowly moved to the dance floor, showing off his moves while trying to pull Ambrose along. It was all in good fun, but he hoped Ambrose wouldn't be overwhelmed by everything.

Ambrose watched with eagle eyes as Caleb performed the spell, tucking away the memory for another time he might need it. Then, suddenly, the landscape had completely changed. The cool breeze of the night hit his face and he exhaled, releasing his long held breath. But as soon as he breathed in, the party scene hit him. The party was clearly already well-underway, the crowd rowdy and cheerful as they let loose for the night. Surprisingly, the scene was not unfamiliar for the introvert. Especially the small pockets of people in a circle, sharing crushed pills and other hard drugs. At the sight of that, Ambrose swallowed thickly and tried to instead focus on Caleb's smile.

Ambrose let himself be led by Caleb, letting his hand on his arm rest there for a heartbeat longer then necessary before letting go. He nodded politely as he was introduced to several people, and all of them seemed to be friendly with Caleb. Ambrose tried to put on his best social face, which was more of a tense smile honestly. "People like Rachel probably just need a good friend honestly." He said with a shrug, he paused to look up at Caleb as he mentioned his relationship status. "Ah, I see. Well you've made it longer then I ever have honestly." He admitted with a soft chuckle, patting Caleb lightly on the shoulder.

Ambrose met the gaze of Alex briefly, letting out a nervous giggle as he did. Okay, so there are way too many attractive people here. Everyone seemed so radiant and comfortable in their own skin. A drastic change of pace to what he was used to. He was nodding along as Caleb explained the layout but stiffened as he realized he was being pulled to the crowded dance floor. "Oh no no no," He shook his head, "Not until I have at least a couple drinks in me."

The atmosphere was buzzing with life. There was music playing, people dancing and alcohol being distributed like it was candy. Everyone was just enjoying each other's company and it felt great. Classes would be starting the next day and this was everyone's way of enjoying the last bit of summer they had left. Caleb was proud that he hadn't taken a single drink since arriving. While he didn't have a drinking problem, he made sure to stay away from any intense drugs. As he pulled Ambrose towards the dance floor, Ambrose tensed up and anchored in, not wanting to participate without a few drinks first. Caleb smiled and released Ambrose's hand, moving over to him like a provocative predator as he stood behind Ambrose whispering in his ear. The closeness was intense, and Caleb had moved so close his lips had nearly touched Ambrose's ear.

"Let's get a drink then, and then you can show me your moves," Caleb spoke into Ambrose's ear as he moved towards Alex who was handing someone a green drink. Caleb walked up hoping that Ambrose had followed him.

"What's up Caleb," Alex said the two exchanging a brotherly handshake before slapping each other's hands and doing some sort of arm maneuver that looked akin to placing one's forehead into the bend of their elbow. They shared a laugh while Alex started mixing different alcohols for a pleasant taste.

"So who's the new guy?" Alex asked.

"Alex this is Ambrose," Caleb replied smirking as Alex gave Ambrose a once over. "Ambrose you know Alex, he's the best when it comes to drinks. Ambrose is a friend, he's cool Alex," Caleb added, "just nothing too strong."

Alex groaned and nearly rolled his eyes as he handed them both a rather rosy pink drink. Caleb took his in his hand and took a sip. It was fruity, the alcohol hiding behind the taste. "Wait a minute, how much alcohol is in this?" Caleb asked feeling a buzz after one sip.

"Just know one of those will get you in the mood faster than anything else, so drink up boys," Alex said with a smirk. Caleb eyed the drink for a moment but knew Alex wouldn't give them something that would kill them. He took another sip and smiled. It was really good.

"So you feeling alright?" Caleb asked Ambrose returning his attention to him. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Samantha heading upstairs with the guy she was speaking to outside. Caleb made a mental note and shook his head taking another sip of the cocktail.

Ambrose watched Caleb carefully, almost like a deer caught in headlights as Caleb circled his prey. Shivering at his warm breath, Ambrose was easily persuaded to trail behind, following Caleb closely. "They're...really a bit embarrassing." He was all he could mumble as he recovered his bearings. It was a bit overwhelming, the way Caleb wrapped Ambrose around his finger so effortlessly. The man practically screamed sex appeal, it was no wonder he worked as a porn star before BlackBrick.

Ambrose was only able to refocus when Alex gestured to him, asking for his name. Ambrose let his companion answer the questions, and instead took the rosy pink drink wordlessly. He peered down into the contents suspiciously, not even taking a sip until Caleb had taken several drinks. But seeing as his friend was content with it, and seemed to trust Alex as well, Ambrose decided he might as well. Closing his eyes, he took a glug, the taste was sweet and even a bit addictive.

"Oh god," He choked out, "I think I might have overestimated my tolerance for alcohol." He admitted, already feeling the effects slowly creep over his body. He already felt the warmness spread, and his concern for social activities diminished as he took another drink. "But this tastes really good." He muttered, and giggled lightly. He moved his gaze back to Caleb and shot a smirk in his direction as he finished his drink. "Another please." He asked and shoved the cup back towards Alex.

Caleb watched Ambrose as he took the cup with caution. He seemed to eye it for a bit before taking a sip of it. A laugh escaped Caleb's lips as he watched Ambrose react to the strength of the drink. His comment caused Caleb to chuckle even more as he took another sip of his own drink, finishing it with a few gulps. It was around that time that Ambrose finished his drink and asked for another. Caleb's eyebrow raised in surprise, but he didn't judge, he even asked for another as Alex shook his head. Within minutes two more drinks were placed in front of them and Alex just looked at them both with a smirk.

"Enjoy," he said causing Caleb to glare.

"Look, whatever you're thinking don't," Caleb said as Alex threw up both hands as if surrendering.

"Whatever floats your boat man, Sam told me.....," Alex began.

"Wait, what did Sam tell you this time?" Caleb interjects as he gulped down the drink in a few long swallows.

"Nothing man, just be careful with those," Alex replied referring to the drink that Caleb had just down rather quickly. The feeling of inebriation started to slowly wash over Caleb, but he remained coherent and smiled at Alex who had started fixing him another one. "But you're a big boy so have at it," Alex added as Caleb exhaled and looked at Ambrose.

"Let me know when you're ready to dance," Caleb said to Ambrose with a wink as he smiled his adorable smile. There were others at the party dancing, eyeing him from across the room, but he had ignored them. He wanted to show Ambrose a good time, and Ambrose had his full attention, but he still wanted to know what Sam had told Alex.

Ambrose exhaled and blinked slowly, taking a moment to evaluate how much of an effect the drink was having on him. He wasn't shit-faced yet, which was lucky. Mostly he felt comfortably warm and everything people said made a giggle burst from his chest. The second drink he sipped more slowly, careful to not push his limits. He didn't want to black out during the evening. He didn't really know anyone here, not even Caleb who he had just met today. "Yeah, what did she say?!" Ambrose cut in, stepping close to Alex with narrowed eyes. With his current state, his actions were unweighted by his usual social anxiety.

He only backed off to give room for Alex to fix Caleb another drink. Taking the chance to keep working his way through his second cup. "Big boy..." He snickered to himself before Caleb caught his attention once more with his wink. It took a second for Ambrose to register his offer. His gaze shifted from the pulsing dance floor and the dazzling smile of the man in front of him. "Oh god, I'm going to do this." He said, his inner voice was practically screaming at him to stop and just go back to the dorm. But old habits die hard, and Ambrose simply couldn't resist the charms of the pretty face in front of him.

Ambrose drowned the last of his drink and grabbed Caleb by the wrist. He led them to the dance floor, and the pair was practically consumed by the crowd immediately. In his haze, the rest of the people seemed to melt together and only Caleb was the one in focus. Music pounding in his ears, the scene was almost like a dream. But it felt liberating to let go and just feel the beat pulse through him. Ambrose moved his body to the tempo, pulling Caleb in close so he could feel the heat between their bodies. Ambrose's movements had a certain grace to them, and it showed he knew what it was doing. The rhythm moved his hips and beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.

After his third drink Caleb was feeling it. The music was pounding and yet he was still a tad bit coherent and managed to hold conversation well, though as he observed Ambrose he could see that the male was feeling the effects of the alcohol as well. He managed to stand upright instead of leaning against the counter and laughed when Ambrose asked Alex what Sam had told him. He even leaned forward and narrowed his eyes which caused Caleb to burst into laughter. Yep, he was drunk, that proved it. He would have a hangover from hell tomorrow, but at that moment it was going on 10:30 and the party was just getting started in his opinion.

What happened next surprised even Alex who had noticed the change in Ambrose from first seeing him until now after having a few drinks. He was bold to grab Caleb and tug him onto the dance floor, and Caleb was shocked at this action, but he let Ambrose tug him along like a little toy until they hit the dance floor. It was then that Ambrose really showed him what he could do and he was amazed. He watched him, matching his rhythm with his own, their bodies close, the heat causing Caleb to sweat slightly. Smirking, he continued to dance with Ambrose, but he did something that he hoped Ambrose wouldn't shy away from. He snatched off his shirt to relieve some of the built up heat and tucked the shirt into his back pocket allowing it to hang loosely. This also caused his pants to sag slightly, revealing more of his underwear band.

Alex observed from a far and shook his head when Caleb took his shirt off.

"Anything to show off huh Caleb?" He said, but the music drowned out his voice. He laughed wondering how this night would end with Ambrose and Caleb.

Ambrose only lost his beat when Caleb stripped down further. "Whoa," He mouthed as he took in the sight. But a beat later and he burst out into a fit of giggles. "Looks like someone wants to show off." He teased, his voice just barely loud enough to be heard over the pounding music. "I guess I don't mind this time." He resumed his beat, pressing closer to his companion this time. Ambrose threaded a hand through Caleb's hair, leaning close enough that he could feel his breath. Ambrose had promptly decided he was just going to go for it, and in his clouded alcohol-addled brain, that was a fantastic idea.

But just as he gained his courage, a heavy hand gripped his shoulder and jerked him back an inch. "Mind if I cut in?" A deep voice yelled over the music. Ambrose looked up at the figure, a tall man with sharp features gazed back at him. A confident smile graced his lips, white teeth flashing in the low lights. "Er, with me?" Ambrose asked in confusion, and the man laughed at the response. "No, I meant with Caleb." He responded and continued to tug Ambrose lightly away from his new friend. At this point Ambrose got the message and was compliant with being pulled away. "Um, right." He said, even with the help of alcholo, Ambrose face blushed with embarrassment. Ambrose and the new man both looekd towards Caleb for his answer.

Caleb was enjoying the closeness between him and Ambrose. He was enjoying the dancing, the feeling excitement, the thrill of not knowing what would happen next. It all appealed to him and it drove him to keep dancing and having fun. He was smiling as Ambrose threaded a hand through his hair causing him to tilt his head back revealing his prominent Adam's apple. He could feel Ambrose's breath on his skin and pleasure waves shot through his nerves causing him to smirk as he watched Ambrose with new eyes. He was more than what Caleb initially thought. Give the guy a few drinks and he was the life of the party. Still, Caleb wanted to know more about Ambrose, what made him tick, what his favorite food was, what his favorite music was. He wanted to know more about him and yet he was nervous to ask. Imagine him, the sex symbol of BlackBrick too nervous to ask a guy out and get to know him.

In this moment, his will to push dating away was out of the window. As the dancing continued, he kept up with Ambrose, allowing their bodies to touch and move to the rhythm. Suddenly, Ambrose stopped dancing and Caleb looked up to see a taller male wanting to dance with him. While flattered, Caleb really didn't want to just abandon Ambrose to dance with a random stranger. He sighed and smiled at the guy.

"Thanks for the offer," he said as he moved closer to Ambrose. He reached out, grabbing Ambrose by the waist and pulling him in close. "...but I'm with him," Caleb added with a smirk as he grabbed Ambrose's hand hopefully tugging him along with him to a private area so they could talk. When he reached a pretty isolated area, only a few people standing around, he sat down and exhaled feeling the alcohol hit him once more. "That was amazing," he said to Ambrose with a smile, "why didn't you let me know you were such a great dancer?" He slowly pulled the shirt out of his back pocket and threw it onto his shoulder for the time being.

Ambrose was almost ready to back away, ready to be left behind. The man who had taken his place was tall and handsome, gazing down with a confident blue eyes. But he was startled when he was reeled back in by Caleb by the hip. He glanced back at the man who had propositioned Caleb, whose facial features had twisted into one of distaste as his stare shifted between the pair. Ambrose met his glare with a dopey grin, "You heard him." Ambrose jabbed before Caleb pulled him away from the crowd. Ambrose had to admit, it felt pretty good to be the first choice instead of the last.

Ambrose slumped down next to Caleb, still panting as he leaned his forehead against the cool wall. Another giggle erupted from his throat, "Hah! It's something I don't do often." He paused and gestured to the whole room, "I don't do any of this often anymore." Ambrose fell silent for a moment, watching the crowd move. It was clear most of the people now were wasted or high as a kite. It brought back memories, some he didn't want to think about right now. So he snapped his attention back to Caleb. Who, even while drunk, seemed to radiate light in whatever room he was in.

Ambrose reached over and fiddled with the shirt on Caleb's shoulder. With the alcohol, still pumping through him, Ambrose didn't really think much about his actions like usual. He just did whatever was his first impulse. His hand trailed from the shirt back to Caleb's hair. "I... Uh, appreciate the hospitality you've shown since I've arrived here." A breathy laugh escaped his lips, and his hazel eyes were heavy-lidded. Ambrose leaned slightly forward, parting his lips slightly, hoping Caleb would get the hint.

Caleb was catching his breath sitting down with his shirt slung over his shoulder. He smiled up at Ambrose as he heard him talk. Despite everything, he knew this party was what he needed, and it looked to be what Ambrose had needed as well to start the year off right. He felt Ambrose slump down next to him and looked around the room as everyone seemed to relax, and so chill. They were in a euphoric state that Caleb was familiar with, and many relished. He tried to stay away from drugs, but he did enjoy a drink every now and then and this party was his chance to indulge. Ambrose was speaking, informing him that he really didn't do what Caleb did, the partying and all of that was Caleb's world and not his.

It was respectable to see someone have fun even when they normally wouldn't on a day to day basis. Ambrose was the type of guy he would love to date, someone who was down to Earth and someone who would keep him level headed and grounded. The idea crossed his mind, but he shook his head remembering he did promise himself he wouldn't get into any type of relationship and that he would focus on his school work. Still, Ambrose was hard to ignore, very hard, almost impossible and when he was in this very flirtatious state he was impossible to ignore. Then Caleb felt someone touch him and at first, he didn't want to believe it was Ambrose because of the hesitations Ambrose had earlier before the alcohol, but when he turned his head and looked into Ambrose's eyes he knew where things were going and yet he didn't want to stop it.

Ambrose had his finger in Caleb's hair and Caleb smirked, but as he looked into Ambrose's eyes he could see the male leaning forward and parting his lips. Was this really about to happen? Caleb reciprocated the act and leaned forward as well meeting Ambrose halfway, as their lips pressed together slightly. Ambrose's lips were soft, yet had some firmness to them. Caleb let his inhibitions go as they kissed, allowing his hand to pull Ambrose slightly closer to deepen the kiss slightly. It was only when he heard a familiar voice that he broke the kiss and look up at Sam who was standing there tapping her feet, clearing her throat roughly.

"Mmhmmm," she made the accusing noise, her eyes boring into both of them, accusing them of what they had just done. "Well, loverboys it seems the party has peaked, so we have a little game to play. I got two other people, but we need two more. So come on you two, let's get to the basement," Sam said as she shook her head at Caleb and strutted off.

Caleb ran a hand over his face and cleared his throat before standing up. "Fucking ay man," he said as he exhaled and looked at Ambrose, "you alright?" he asked. He was asking if Ambrose was alright with the kiss, and he wanted to make sure Ambrose was okay with going to the basement. All the while Caleb slowly pulled his shirt on, a few of the students lingering around eying his body, undressing him even more than he already was with their eyes. He paid them no attention but gave Ambrose his sole attention.

Ambrose's eyes slid shut as he basked in the feeling of Caleb. He gripped Caleb harder, letting himself be pulled and anchored to him. His lips moved in time, the kiss deepening until suddenly Caleb pulled away. Ambrose felt as if he was only emotions and feelings and colors until reality crashed back down. He jerked back as he registered the voice and glare of Samantha. Ambrose felt his face heat up at being caught. But unlike usual, he was able to shake it off the crippling embarrassment.

Ambrose also staggered to his feet, using the wall momentarily to prop himself up. "Wha-? Oh yeah I'm fine." He breathed, rolling his shoulders. It seemed he was significantly less drunk now, and more of a tired tipsy. "Er... About that, I'm sorry if-" His gaze drifted and he stopped talking when he noticed the amount of people who were watching the two. Some eyes were trained specifically on Caleb, and others were sizing up Ambrose. "Never mind." Ambrose grunted and started to follow Samantha's path to the basement. "Come on, we're going right?" He asked as he glanced back at Caleb.

Caleb's eyebrow arched as he watched Ambrose follow behind Samantha's trail as she made her way to the basement door. He even turned and asked if he was coming to which Caleb smirked and nodded. Catching up with Ambrose he walked with his side by side until they came to the door.

"After you," he said to Ambrose waiting for the guy to move down behind Samantha who was still rolling her eyes.

"Promise me you two won't get all datey when we get down here," Sam shouted back at them causing Caleb to blush slightly. He didn't response but continued to walk until they made it to the basement. The room was bare, having only five pillows in a circle and what looked to be candles, matches, and chalk in the middle of the circle. There was also a chalice of sorts which meant there was a blade somewhere.

As they entered the room, Caleb could see two other people, one of which he remembered was the guy Samantha had taken upstairs. He had a big grin on his face as Samantha walked up to him and ran a thumb across his lips. Caleb smirked and shook his head. The things she could so were both scary and amazing.

"Alright each of you takes a spot," Samantha said as Caleb's eyes fell on another girl. He didn't know her, but she seemed to know him. She waved gently and he returned the wave but didn't speak. "Loverboys, you two sit across from each other," she added motioning to Ambrose and Caleb. Caleb knelt down just as the other two knelt down. Sam knelt down and wait for Ambrose to follow suit before she smiled. "We all know how to summon aside from one of us, but he's a quick learner so give him some credit." She lit the candle with a snap of her finger and placed the chalice over the fire before continuing. "Repeat after me, Dicimus pientissimam contentionem tu autem deam ubertatem, cum essentia imple nos!" She spoke each word slowly so that everyone would understand. "It basically means We summon you, goddess of fertility, fill us with your essence!" Sam looked at Ambrose and winked playfully. "Now let us begin."

A knife appeared in front of each of them and Caleb glared at Sam.

"Whoa Sam I don't know about this," he said as she gave him a look.

"It's okay Caleb, it's safe, I tried it out with a few people over the summer."

Caleb eyed the blade for a moment before reaching down and grabbing it cautiously.

"Alright, take the blade and cut your finger and allow a drop or two of your blood to fall into the chalice."

She waited for everyone to do it, Caleb hesitated but did it and sighed as he placed the knife back on the floor.

"Good, now let's repeat the spell THREE times."

There was silence before Samantha began chanting. Caleb had joined in with her after the other two had already started. He was looking at Ambrose the entire time hoping that he was okay with everything that was happening. Truth be told he wasn't really comfortable with what was happening, but he was too intoxicated to walk away. There was a moment when the energy in the room heightened and the lights flashed violently before going out completed. Caleb gasped and looked around, the room completely black.

"Ambrose, Ambrose are you okay?" he asked before the lights turned back on and Sam looked at Caleb with a worried look on her face.

"Okay, that was new," she said realizing the spell didn't work as the flame on the candle had gone out. Caleb stood to his feet.

"Okay were out of here, let's go," Caleb said speaking to everyone in the room. He walked over to Ambrose and grabbed his hand as if they were dating and pulled him towards the door. It was strange as they neared the top of the stairs, the music had stopped. Caleb slowly approached the door and opened it. He peered out and saw no one there. "What the hell," he said softly as he moved into the hall moving down the hallway and entering into the main area. As he rounded the corner, he immediately turned around and nearly threw up when he saw the scene before him. Bodies. Bloody bodies littered the floor. Caleb could hear whimpering and moved over towards the bar area where the whimpering was coming from. He saw Alex and knelt down. He was muttering something incoherent until Caleb looked in his eyes.

"Alex, Alex what happened?" Caleb questioned as Alex continued to shake.

"The the the there was some some something big," he stuttered, "it it it it killed everyone, told me it wanted me to wa wa wa watch," Alex finished looking at Caleb with fear filled eyes. "It slit everyone's throat man, EVERYONE, and spared me. Told me I would be last, but when the lights came back on it vanished."

Caleb looked over at Sam and shook his head. "We have to get out of here, come on."

Sam had a terrified look on her face but she placed a hand on her hip and nodded in Caleb's direction. "Get everyone who is left out of here, I'll call this in. It's best if you all aren't here when the police get here."

Caleb looked at Sam in disbelief, but he didn't question her. "Come on Alex, let's get out of here," he said looking over at the boy and girl that had joined them downstairs.

"Ambrose, Ambrose let's go please," Caleb said as he approached him to make sure he was okay before he started maneuvering his hands. First Alex vanished, then the boy and the girl, and finally Ambrose and Caleb vanished reappearing in his room.

"SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?" he said pacing back and forth trying to make sense of what had happened.

"Wouldn't dream of it." Ambrose shot back in response to Samantha, following her down the steps. Ambrose entered the room hesitantly, "Wow, this is full blown witchcraft..." He murmured to himself as he took in the props set up in the basement. He stood awkwardly off to the side, watching Samantha bend her boy toy to her will. God, he really hoped Ambrose didn't look that way around Caleb. He plopped down onto the cushion, blinking heavily as he forced himself to focus at the task on hand.

"Thanks for the ringing endorsement," He muttered and rubbed his eyes, his eyebrows raised at Sam's next comment though. "Hah." He responded dryly, but quickly shut his mouth to listen carefully to the incantation. He mouth the words back to himself, committing it to memory. Ambrose nodded and leaned back on his hands, "So... Is there a specific reason why we're summoning a goddess of fertility? I don't plan on having children-" Ambrose stopped when he spotted the knife, the blade glinting harshly in the light. His eyes darted from Sam and Caleb. Then to the other two bystanders, both of which didn't seemed to disturbed by the development. Especially not Samantha's companion.

Ambrose fell silent as the knife was passed to each person. He watched Caleb hesitate, but even he still gave in. So when the knife was pushed into his hands, Ambrose didn't say a word of protest. "Fuck." He hissed as he pressed the blade into his skin, accidentally nicking it too deeply. Blood splurted from his palm, pouring into the chalice before Ambrose jerked his hand back and gripped his wound tightly. "Shit. Sorry." Ambrose passed the chalice back to Samantha and waited for her instruction.

The five of them chanted in unison, a chilling harmony rose in their voices as they completed the incantation. Then the lights flashed violently, and the atmosphere grew heavy. As if a weight was weighing heavily on their chests, pushing down. Ambrose nearly gasped out at the energy that burst through the room. But as soon as it had started, it had suddenly stopped. He heard faintly Caleb calling to him, but Ambrose was more concerned why an eerie silence had taken a hold of the house. The murmur of the crowd and the pounding of the music had stopped suddenly.

Ambrose let himself be pulled along by Caleb, clutching his wounded hand to his chest as he was led up to the main room. A chill was sent down his spine before he even rounded the corner with Caleb. "What happened..." Ambrose choked as he registered the bloodied scene before him. His knees gave out as he took the red soaked walls and the mangled corpses littering the floor. Bile rose up and burned his throat, unable to hold back, Ambrose heaved onto the tile. "Oh god, oh god." Was all he managed out, and was only vaguely aware of Caleb comforting Alex. Tears blurred his vision but he cast a accusatory glare up at Samantha, "What the fuck kind of spell did you make us do?" He spat out.

But then Caleb rushed to his side, speaking to him softly. Ambrose shook his head, and wiped his eyes. Before he knew it, he was back in Caleb's room. Safe. It was then he started to shake and choke back a sob.

Caleb was still pacing back and forth trying to figure out what to do next. He had never experienced anything like that. The feeling of a weight pressing down on his chest right before the murders, that was a feeling he didn't want to experience again. He mentally cursed at himself for even going along with the ritual. Who knows what the hell they summoned.

"FUCK!" he yelled punching the nearby wall and leaving a sizeable dent. He looked down at his hand and noticed that his knuckles were starting to bruise from the collision with the wall. Sighing, he looked over at Ambrose who seemed out of it. He was shaking slightly and Caleb couldn't blame him after what he saw. He hurried over to him. "Ambrose, Ambrose look at me," he began trying to usher Ambrose over to his bed, "I don't want you going back to your dorm tonight, you can stay here, I'll sleep on the floor and you can have my bed, everything is going to be fine," he said as calmly as he could.

It was then that he noticed Ambrose holding his hand. "Can I see?" he asked before taking Ambrose's hand and examining it. "Shit," he added noticing how deep Ambrose had cut himself during the ritual. "It's amazing you didn't pass out from this."

Caleb walked into his bathroom and gathered supplies and when he returned he had first aid tape and medical gauze. He also had alcohol, peroxide and a few other items. He didn't know why he was so caring towards Ambrose. He couldn't explain the feeling. He had just met Ambrose and yet it felt right to be around him. He felt good to be close to him, and the feeling scared the shit out of him. He didn't want to go down the road of relationships again, but he couldn't help it. It was amazing, he didn't know a single thing about Ambrose, they had only just hung out and look how bad things ended up. Still, as he helped Ambrose sit down on his bed, he wondered what Sam was doing.

Caleb cleaned Ambrose's wound as gently as possible, he made sure that there were no blood stains on his hand anymore. He bandaged it, wrapped it and taped it before eyeing his handy work. "That should work," he said before looking up at Ambrose, "I'm sorry for all of this, I should've just gotten us out of there when I didn't feel right," he self-blamed. "If you want you can take a shower, I have some clothes you can wear though they'll be a bit baggy on you."

Ambrose flinched as Caleb's knuckles cracked against the wall. He watched with wild eyes, widened and unblinking. It just showed how poorly he was handling the situation. Stiffly, he was led to the unkempt bed, to which he sat down on. "I don't think everything is going to be fine." He croaked, staring blankly at the ground.

Ambrose only winced as Caleb took care of the wound, which had thankfully stopped bleeding due to the care. Ambrose still didn't quite understand why Caleb treated him so gently, with so much kindness. A part of him wanted to lean into it, and yet most of it was just screaming at him that Caleb couldn't be trusted. Yet, even with that Ambrose caved into his own desires, which Ambrose wasn't sure if he regretted or not. But that didn't matter now, Ambrose could only see the images of corpses every time he closed his eyes.

"It's not your fault." Ambrose spoke suddenly, "It's all of our faults." He hissed, gaze drifting from each person involved with the ritual. Ambrose was silent for a minute, before wiping the last of his tears and stood up suddenly. He nodded stiffly and made his way to the bathroom. "Yes. I think I'll do that." Ambrose shut the door behind him, stripping down and turning on the shower head. Ambrose turned the water to fiery temperatures, barely aware of it. He stood there for a long time, staring at the white tile until he finally refocused enough to wash himself. Ambrose emerged with a towel wrapped loosely around his torso. He approached Caleb, ignoring the eyes of the others and held out his hand for the clothes Caleb had offered.

While Ambrose was in the shower, Caleb made sure everyone else was alright. Ariana, Jeremy and Alex were all sitting on a couch that was on the opposite end of the room. Caleb's room was pretty massive compared to others. It was part of the perks for being so close, almost like a son to the headmaster of the school. His room was a beautiful layout. It looked quite Victorian in style. He was quiet for a moment walking back and forth and waiting on some word from Sam. She had stayed behind to deal with the authorities and to try and clean up the scene to make it look more natural. Then again how do you make a mass murder look natural? Caleb really couldn't blame Ambrose for being upset with him or with the entire group. They were responsible for what had happened, but how? Caleb would have to research it but he was pretty sure that the spell Sam used wasn't a summoning spell, but more of an invocation ritual. He had to figure it out or he'd drive himself crazy if he didn't.

When Ambrose walked out of the shower, he strode over to Caleb with just a towel wrapped around him. Caleb blinked a few times. He wasn't expecting Ambrose's upper body to be so toned, but then again he was a good looking guy that Caleb still didn't know a lot about. He tried to smile as he stood up straight and walked over to his closet. It was a rather large closet full of clothes that Caleb got as gifts from his parents. Each section of the closet had specific items. There were jackets, tops, bottoms, tanks, PJs, and then a lot of shoes. In the middle of the closet was a large dresser with drawers on both sides. This held all of Caleb's underwear and socks, as well as more shirts and more pants.

"You can wear whatever you want," Caleb said with a sigh. He realized that Ambrose might be a little taken back by how large his room was and how massive his closet was, but when he arrived his parents had specific requests, and the headmaster wanted him to be comfortable even though Caleb never really embraced the 'rich' lifestyle. He paused and looked at Ambrose feeling the need to explain his room and closet to Ambrose. "Headmaster wanted me to have this room for whatever reason, but I don't complain, plus my parents try to spoil me even though I never embraced the rich lifestyle."

Caleb smiled at Ambrose and shrugged as he moved to leave Ambrose to choose. "I'm gonna check on the others," he said as he left the closet and moved to check on Jeremy, Ariana and Alex.

"You three okay?" Caleb asked upon returning. Alex just sat and stared at the floor not saying much while Ariana was still shaking slightly.

"I still can't believe it," she said, "how did we even cause this? What kind of summoning did we do?"

"I intend to find out," Caleb replied with a sigh as he sat on his bed. Just as he sat down Sam appeared covered in blood.

"It's done," she said looking at Caleb, then Alex, then Jeremy and Ariana.

"Wh...what's done?" Caleb asked.

"The authorities think it was a hit and run type of murder. I played the innocent victim who survived. I had to plant evidence on a fellow student and I had to lie and pretend that the student I planted evidence on was the killer and that I had to kill him to keep him from killing me. So far no one knows about you four being there, and I would like to keep it that way," Samantha said as she turned and made her way to Caleb's door.

"This secret stays between us, but whatever we summoned we will have to banish. I'm going to my room to get this off of me. Get some rest and we'll talk later," Sam said.

Caleb was shocked by what he was hearing and he didn't know Sam had it in her. He knew she was conniving, but this level of expertise far surpassed what he thought she was capable of. He sighed and nodded to her as she left his room.

"Jeremy, Alex, Ariana, you're all free to stay here, you pretty much know where everything is," Caleb said as he looked at Ambrose, "I, I don't know what to say about all of this. All I wanted was to have fun with you and to show you a good time and look what happens."

Ambrose had been taken back how the adorned and large Caleb's room was. It was clear he had a privileged lifestyle. But hey, it was nice for once to be around expensive things. Even if it made Ambrose feel slightly out of place. Despite the undeniable chemistry him and Caleb shared, the difference between their two worlds was sometimes jarring.

Ambrose obediently followed Caleb to his closet, which turned how to be even larger. "Fucking hell dude..." He muttered, eyes trailing over the rows of clothes. Ambrose snorted at Caleb's explanation, "I don't know...This looks like you're getting along with it pretty well." Ambrose commented bluntly, but he paused "Thanks though." His tone turned gentler. Ambrose was well aware that Caleb had good intentions, and for whatever reason, he treated Ambrose with kindness. Ambrose waited until Caleb left to check on the others to looks for something suitable. After a bit of digging Ambrose ended up with a over sized shirt, and loose shorts. But with the length of his shirt, it gave the illusion at first glance that Ambrose was wearing only the shirt. After pulling on some socks, he rejoined the group in the main room.

Jeremy sat close to Ariana, who he knew a littler bit better then everyone else in the room. His eyes were wide and wild, darting across the room every few seconds. "Where's Samantha? She said she was coming back right?" Jeremy babbled, mostly to himself at this point. Ambrose approached hesitantly, arms crossed as he took his place next to Caleb. His mouth was set in a tight-lipped line, his gaze hardened. And his expression only darkened once Sam reappeared. Jeremy, on the other hand, looked like he was going to cry from relief once he saw her.

Amrbose stepped forward, "What the fuck! Shouldn't we just get help from people who actually know what to do?" He burst out, but Samantha had already left. Jeremy stood up, and strode over to Ambrose. He stabbed a finger at Ambrose's chest, "No! We follow Sam's plan, do you know what could happen if they know we caused this?!"

Ambrose slapped Jeremy's hand away, the two glared at each other intensely until finally Jeremy broke the staring contest. "No... I'm going to go help Sam out." Jeremy muttered, as if he had suddenly grew very tired. Jeremy left the room with one final glare shot at Ambrose.

Ambrose made a noise of disgust once Jeremy had left, and collapsed down on the couch next to Caleb. "Yeah. I... Just wanted fun too." He said, a look of defeat flashing across his face. He let his black curls fall over his eyes as he settled onto the cushion. "Can we even banished the monster that did that?" Ambrose asked, to no one in particular. But suddenly his hazel gaze snapped back to Caleb, "Did Samantha mean to do this?" Ambrose knew that asking Caleb that might just upset him, but he needed to know if Caleb thought there was any chance she would want to cause anything like this.

As everything transpired before him, Caleb was extremely silent, more silent than he would normally. Ambrose had nearly gotten into a physical altercation with Jeremy. The two stared at each other for a moment before Jeremy departed with Sam. It wasn't long before Ariana stood up and sighed.

"Look, Caleb, I appreciate the offer, but I'm going to go get some sleep, and I told Alex he could stay with me," Ariana said as Alex still looked shocked and out of it, but he managed to smile at Caleb and thank him for everything before leaving. As Caleb sat on the chair, he looked up at Ambrose who took a seat next to him and began to talk. He had wanted the same thing Caleb had wanted, to have fun, but it seemed Ambrose wasn't blaming him for what had happened which was a relief. Instead, he was blaming Samantha, which tugged at Caleb's nerves slightly. He didn't want to argue with Ambrose, they barely knew each other, yet he knew that arguing would only lessen any chance of getting to know him. Instead, Caleb shrugged and sighed.

"Sam's always been there for me since I got here. I don't think she is capable of such a dark twisted mentality, but you never know what someone is capable of," Caleb replied as he lifted his body to rest his back against the back of the couch. "It's possible, but we need to find out exactly WHAT we are up against here," Caleb said as he stood up and walked over to the closet grabbing a pair of pajamas and a tank top. He walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower. The water allowed him to ease his mind and he was thankful. Truth be told he was scared to death about facing such a menacing foe. He hoped Sam had some answers but he was willing to do as much research as he possibly could. When he exited the bathroom, he dried off and changed into a simple turquoise tank with a black outline around the border of the top and a pair of black silken pajama pants. He didn't have on any underwear and he hoped that he wasn't revealing too much.

Looking over at Ambrose, he sighed.

"I told you you could have the bed tonight," he began, "but if you don't mind I'm not really tired and I could use some conversation right now." He sat down on the couch leaning back and exhaling. "I really don't know how to start this off," Caleb admitted, but he just seemed so relaxed, "So what do you want to know about me?" he said rather boldly.

With an exhale, Ambrose shifted in his seat. Nodding, Ambrose murmured "Okay... I was... Just making sure." He shuddered as he thought back to how Samantha was covered in blood. It wasn't right that she placed the blame on someone else, but maybe it was worth it to dodge the consequences of their actions. Maybe they could solve this themselves. But a cold feeling in the pit of Ambrose's stomach told him different.

While Caleb was washing up, Ambrose had settled deeper into the couch. He had covered his face with his hands, curling up tight. He still couldn't keep those awful images out of his head. Caving, Ambrose stood up and searched the room relentlessly. Finally he emerged victorious once he uncovered a bottle of vodka that had seemed to be forgotten. Pulling off the lid, Ambrose took a hearty swig and settled back down. Once Caleb emerged, Ambrose held up the bottle. "Just something to take the edge off." He explained with a light shrug. Maybe it was a bad idea to indulge in his bad habits, but right now, Ambrose needed it.

"I don't think I even can go to sleep." He said with a dry laugh, "Warning though, I'm not usually the best conversationalist." Ambrose took another gulp, exhaling heavily as he felt the alcohol burn his throat. "Right. Hm, how long have you known... About this world of magic?" Ambrose asked with a tilt of his head, "And, er," He cleared his throat uncomfortably, "What was your last significant other like?"
