I won't be posting until Pirouette does, btw.

You shouldn't hold everyone else up. Keep going and I'll catch up when I'm able.

@Pirouette, All right, but GM Post will still have to be postponed, as I'm using someone else's laptop and my own, once it is returned to me, has been completely reformatted, meaning that I will have to reinstall a lot of things.

@Double, Approved.

Good thing I have maxed my Perception. I can literally see the molecules that make up that Ranger Gal and little miss Khan over there.

Hello everyone!

Unfortunately, I haven't really played Fallout New Vegas much. So if you would like some music from GNR and miss three dog, you may.

If you would like to listen to the Enclave you may. Although if you do, know that we can never be friends.

Joking aside, I'm planning on making the kid from Fallout 3.

These are the time settings and basic locations for the games. That is the year they all started. I need to read more into the actual story to know where and when we are. Hope it is alright if I post this here.

Fallout 3: Year 2277, Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and parts of Maryland.
Fallout New Vegas: Year 2281 (Southwest, Mojave Wasteland)
Fallout 4: Year: 2287, Boston, Massachusetts

I'm going to be playing a kind of outside party character from Fallout 3. I mean if I can that is.

He is known as the Kid, the son of James.

Going to upgrade the character in the morning after work, as it is late and has been a long day.

@Aqutanama, Again, you're going to have to be a Co-GM if you're going to be allowed to play such a powerful character...

@Letter BeeI mean if the players don't mind a controlling overpowered person telling them what to do. It will be fine trust me.

Joking aside, if they don't want me to play/NPC the Kid then I can try something else.

Thought I put in the joking part before.

@Letter Bee

Everyone has the same character sheet, and we usually stick to them. No suddenly OP characters. It'll ruin the fun.

A sheet was made, follow its guidelines.

Thanks, but shouldn't you mention @Aqutanama as well? He's the one who wanted to...yeah, I was too lenient.

But really if they don't want me to play/NPC the Kid then I can try something else.

So it sounds like I missed whatever this character was. Oh well. To be honest, I'd veto it if it is anything I imagine. I mean, it sounded like it didn't even relate to the character sheet that the rest of us used? Yea. Stick with format.

If there is a later submission, I'll check it out. I'm finished with finals tomorrow BUT I'm pretty tired, exhausted, really. So no promises, but I'll be more around tomorrow so who knows.

In other words you expect us to be OK with someone bringing a blatantly OP level 30+ character into what is essentially a party of level 1s AND be allowed to order us around and hijack the story? Yeah I couldn't possibly see how that would be blatantly unfair. Nope, not at all. -_-

Yeah, no. I don't think anyone should be playing a main character from any of the Fallout games, as those characters are VERY hard to pin down any level of power and scale on. I also do NOT like the idea of any character not controlled by the GM of the RP bossing characters around, and frankly, the fact that @Letter Bee didn't immediately reject this character concept worries me about the direction this RP is headed.

You won't have to worry about, tbh. Bee and I discuss the RP plenty. I won't lead you guys to something without a satisfying payoff for all.

Hello again everyone,

Sorry forgot to put the part where it was a joke about telling everyone what to do.

In essence he was going to be an outside source, quest giver. Someone who didn't care about the little games of the people within the town and wanted to save the world as a whole. In essence he would kind of be like another faction. He would be neutral until someone tried to fight with him. Then his stats and Bonuses would make him more like a raid boss than an actual character that I played.

I am going to submit the idea to Letter Bee and Pirouette. Then if they choose to throw him/her in later they can. Honestly I would rather bring something to the table as an actual PC.

On the concept that we all start at level 1, wouldn't we only start with one level 1 perk?

I would like to point out that in the Fallout games having a high Int meant that you would get more skill points per level. If you picked the correct perks you would gain more of these points per level and gain the ability to max just about every skill. It makes for a weakish early game but the end game is, in my opinion, a bit more fun.

So how do we handle a character who has the perk and a 10 Int?
Is there levels?
I noted that someone mentioned that we all start at level 1.
If that were true we would only start with one Perk and Perks would be restricted by level.
That is the point of gaining perks as specific levels. Because if you have a level 1 with the Almost Perfect Perk then they could have All Special Stats raised to 9, or the New Vegas perk Slayer, required level 24. The speed of all your melee and unarmed attacks is increased by 30%

I just would like to know what perks do something and what ones don't. Is there VATs, is AP used for anything?

So you get a perk every two levels starting with the level one perk.

We have three so we are in essence at least level 5? I mean if they don't count level one as a level because you get one perk then, or do you? I can't recall? Either way, I think it would be more work to keep track of levels. However, that isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Then again I'm use to playing Pathfinder, World of Darkness and other PNP games. So that could be why.

“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.”
