There was, like, some sort of great awakening. As was foretold by the prophets. Next, Prospo will post. And then Googer will become as active as Aaron. They say this is when Aaron will see Sahle from afar in real life walking through a crowded mall. And Hugs will finally find his courage. When this has all happened, and Mars is in the house of the rising sun, Precipice of War will finally become an HBO series and we will all hook up with the hottest of celebrities.

Honestly, I think a lot can be done with Mexico. There's a whole bunch of Caribbean and Central American countries in Mexico's backyard. Even if they don't seek to invade them, there's a lot that can happen with them, be it positive or negative. To the north, there is of course the growing anti-communist US, which I suspect will be attempting some form of overthrow of the socialist regime, be it via invasion or a financed coup d'état. Then there's Brazil and their alliance to the far south—will Mexico become swallowed in the rising tide of South American influence? As for distant, non-American affairs, I agree that Mexico will likely not be heavily involved with, if at all. I will go ahead and say now that the country will pledge and provide support to any leftist movements if it can, be it in the Old World or in the New. Also, should I post the sheet in the OOC or the character tab? I'm still relatively new to this forum, despite what the "been here for over 100 days" thing would have you believe.

I thought it was because a giant winter cold front smashed the entire eastern US dropping temperatures even in the hottest states into below freezing. Thus preventing us from going outside and forcing us to post. Though I have a feeling most of everyone here doesn't go outside much anyway.

As long as you don't try to get Central American countries into the Third International we can have a begrudging peace. Otherwise, though, it's on.

I have heard tales of an "outside". No air conditioning, no beds...no internet...it frightens me. Let's hope I never have to face this strange "outside" in my life.

BRING IT ON YOU BRAZILIAN PIGS But seriously though, like Aaron said, the Third International apparently doesn't have much interest in North American affairs. Odds are, if any sort of alliance is formed between Mexico and Central American countries, it'll probably be unrelated to the Third International. It's most likely going to be an economic alliance or a defensive pact, if anything happens at all. Plus, keep in mind what the US might do if more of their neighbours went red. ;)

Well not entirely. The International is a choir of multiple voices so if they see something that might be done abroad they may just summon in everyone and talk about it. You're representatives will also probably end up getting a summons to the headquarters when certain events finish up.

I figured as much. My assumption was made on the basis that the major countries in the Third International are mainly Asian and are therefore focused on Asian affairs, leaving those of the New World not touched upon as often. Also, if I may ask: may we also play as an individual character? I've always wanted to try it, but admittedly I've never known if that was available f you already had a nation.

International has some European "states" that it recognizes. However it can't do much for them currently. It's trying to get to that point, so to speak. And playing as an individual character while also a nation depends. If you're a nation you can play as any individual in the nation. But for someone outside of it, it's ethnic group, and its politics is a sort of a undetermined thing. We done it once to try and patch holes in America. But I don't know if I'm comfortable yet with it.
