OMG guys guess what I found on my other computer:

Primary
Name: Erahja Vaelrin
Age: 28
Race: Rakasha
Gender: Female
Class: Ranger

Background: Erahja’s parents were friends of elves, and their tribe often travelled along the elven settlements by the Dark Forest. They were both killed by raiders when Erahja was so young she barely remembered them at all. In the end, it was friends of her parents, an elven couple, who raised her beside their own son, Elrithian. While he was clearly much older when Erahja was found, being an elf, she quickly outgrew him in relative age.

She grew up knowing a good number of Rakasha and grew accustomed enough with their culture, despite her living among elves and mostly seeing others of her own race when they passed by or settled for a short time near the forest. Because of this, she identifies herself both fully as a Rakasha, and as the daughter of her elven parents. She and Elrithian are so accustomed to being siblings they sometimes forget this is far from obvious to others.

The elves taught Erahja to protect the land, and trained her as a ranger, as she was sensitive to her surroundings, a natural tracker and also picked up the arts of combat very quickly. She also quickly became protective of her brother, who was always physically fragile spent long periods of time ill.

Always carrying a wanderlust, Erahja started travelling as soon as she was able. She wished to see more of the world, more than the forest she had been thought to protect. Lately, as his health got better, Elrithian has been joining her in her travels, wishing to learn more of magic through experience.

Appearance:

Erahja stands about 5’7 with an athletic build. She is covered in thick, brown fur, spotted like an ocelot. She was raised to be protective, and it stuck. She is also usually high spirited, quick to anger and quick to judgment, but she can equally quickly forgive or change her mind about someone if her initial impression is proved wrong.

Equipment: She wears leather armour, and aside from her claws, she carries a spear, that also functions as a walking stick. A dagger for non-combat use, mostly eating and other things that most non-Rakasha considers improper to use claws for. Some other gear generally useful for travelling such as warm clothing, bedrolls and rope.

Magic: None

Other Tidbits: Being considered of age when your brother, over 100 years your elder is not is a rather bizarre concept and as an effect, Erahja has chosen to disregard the concept of age in general. Deciding it is too complicated and opting to use her mental energy for other things.

Supporting
Name: Elrithian Vaelrin
Age: 189
Race: Elf
Gender: Male
Class: Mage

Background: Elrithian’s parents were both able fighters, his mother a powerful sorceress, charged with battling corruption and neutralize evil artifacts that showed up around to forest. This took its toll on her and in the end she had to step back from this job or risk her sanity. His father was a druid, who mostly patrolled the edges of the woodlands.

Elrithian himself was a physically weak child, though he had always had a strong mind and good mental defenses. Going through many periods of illness caused him to be more protected and sheltered than he would have been otherwise, but he did also spend those times reading and studying. His mother also spent much time teaching him everything she knew about magic.

Even though most of his childhood was behind him when his parents brought home Erahja, he quickly accepted her as his sister. The parents were smart enough to treat their children according to how they aged racewise, and there in something to be said about being outgrown by your sister who is more than 100 years younger than you. Once his health got better, he started to join her in her travels, wishing to learn more about magic through experience, and while he made much noise himself, he proved to be quite capable.

Appearance:

Elrithian is thin and rather pale, with long white hair and fine, even features. He could be considered beautiful, in an elven and highly unmanly kind of way. He moves with grace, but also with care, as though he was treated as if he was made of glass for so long he actually started to believe it. He dresses in magerobes, which, along with his hair, he manages to keep surprisingly clean.

Elrithian does not give off a strong impression. He is mostly quiet and unobtrusive and carries a polite smile. Closer examination however, will reveal that he is also quick-witted and fully able to be both friendly and determined if the situation calls for it. He often allows Erahja to do the talking, unless some form of diplomacy or knowledge is required.

Equipment: Aside from the robes he is wearing and equipment that belongs to him but is carries by Erahja, Elrithian always carries a spellbook and a bag containing herbs. He also has a dagger, though that is rarely used as a weapon.

Magic: Not sure what to do with this part just yet.

Other Tidbits: This is probably where I should add that Elrithian and Erahja both acquired sturdy angardian horses for their current mission.

Tzarima, would you please post it in the IC? Your post is essential to the story since it's Ellie's time to shine at the moment. I have the next post ready too, it's a transitioning post into the actual bandit fight scene.

Providence, Nightwing, and Captain, have you thought about how you would introduce your characters?

I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but currently, our group consisting of: Rhaedin, Sevine, Zal, Sid the Dog, Erahja, and Elrithian are in the Drearie Ponde Inn, a tavern/inn in a village called Ugparth. Inside the inn are bandits that wear blue hand-kerchiefs, they kidnapped our group late last night and held us hostage in the cellar (there were 8 in the cellar with us that we slaughtered, including the bandit leader) but now we're breaking out. In the bar, there there are 12 bandits and a group of the townspeople, all bound together.

Our goal is to eliminate the bandits, and minimalize the casualties, saving the hostages if we can. If you're having troubles with an introduction you could be one of the hostages mistaken for a townsperson or even a traveller stopping at the inn. You could be on the outside of the inn, not involved with the conflict. Or you could even be further up the road. But ideally, place yourself close to the group as possible. However, if all three of you chose to be apart of the hostages at the inn, you will have to wait for us to free you, there will be no escaping beforehand [ONLY if you CHOOSE to be a HOSTAGE]. If you stayed in the inn the evening before, you will be considered a hostage. The bandits took everyone hostage. Because our group came in together as a party of six, sporting weapons and upon horses, they believe we are worth something of value. This is a good thing for you new comers though, this means that if you are apart of the hostages, you went undetected, or drew the least attention.

Now, since this is a player immersive roleplay, the NPCs are at use to your desposal. However, you may not create your own NPC that interferes with the story unless I grant you permission. The given NPCs, I reiterate, are for you to use. If you want to have a lengthy conversation, or an argument, or even a game of gambling, you are in full control of how things turn out and what happens. Refrain from drawing the plotline away from the desired direction unless I say so. This is your world too, but our journey together.

That sounds like a good idea, there doesn't seem to be too much interest in Fauns unfortunately. This group of people would no doubt be hardy, if they are living in Almeria.

Yeah, I think I might keep them around as NPCs. And yes, the group living in Almeria would need to be hardy. The environment out there is unimagineable. But Almeria is an oasis, truly it is. There are no other sources of freshwater nearby, at least for 300 hundred miles. It is also known as the City of Thieves. I'm trying to determine what they should look like. Either Bedouin or Egyptian influences. Perhaps they are rivals with the Rakasha..

They seem like they would be good for hired muscle. To me, it would befit a rivalry, in a city of thieves, I'm pretty sure different races would have a hard time getting along. As for the references, I like the idea. It would definitely fit the desert theme.
My character sheet has been edited, I apologize for the length, but I wanted to add not only how he received the items in question, as well as a bit of character development.
I'll get on mulling over my introduction, but I think that I'll have him outside of the inn. It would fit my character to seek refuge at night at an inn, as well as seek a target he might had been sent for.

Hah, mine's easy, then.

Considering I've basically been living as a travelling performer, I could easily have been providing some entertainment at the inn.

I'm editing my CS slightly (the tidbits) to go over this. As a result of living with a troupe for several years, it's only natural she be able to do some kind of performance. Being taken hostage isn't exactly advantageous for her. So any chance she sees to get out (say, a group of people escaping the cellar), she'd probably take.

Tzarima, thank you! You're amazing :)

Nightwing, hired muscle hmmm? That hadn't crossed my mind yet. When I was trying to think of how a desert city would act/run and I kept thinking about Aladin, the Disney movie. It's been awhile since I've last watched, say, 14 or 15 years ago? But you're right, a desert city like Almeria deserves to be the thieves captial.

I don't have a problem with you adding more back story, I wrote somewhere, the more backstory will help you in the future.

That may be, but just remember, Narcia may not be freed until someone from our group frees her. She is more than welcome to join the fight afterwards.

I'll probably wait to make my introductory post till most people are upstairs/inside.

At that point, I'll make a post about some of what was happening upstairs concerning her - and maaaaybe help out a little with your entrance considering she's got some magic people wouldn't really know the source of if there was a distraction like a giant beast coming up the stairs. But she's really not combative without her weapons, so she couldn't directly help out much.

I've got a good idea of how to structure my post so it makes sense. =P

Captain and Nightwing, since both of you are starting outside the inn, have you thought about collabing your introduction? The only road that goes through Ugparth heads to Kvechuk and ends at Grovett Pass?

All of our characters are located in the main room of the bar (Zal and Tathein are in the stairwell to the cellar behind Elrithian who is standing in that doorway, but they will come out of there once Elrithian moves). The hostages too are in the main room, so there shouldn't be anything going on upstairs.

I'd appreciate if you didn't use any magic until after you are released. The focus of the roleplay right now is that Elrithian was tasked with distracting the bandits in some way. I'd rather you not steal his thunder. I'm not saying you can't use your magic, I'm just asking for you to hold off on that.

That sounds like a plan. If you're interested in collabing we could do so over PM's. That's if you want to of course.

Ok then, I've still got a good idea of how I'll deal with the situation, but I'll wait for captain/nightwing's appearance before I post.

Just gonna mention I have the old map too, if anyone wanta it somewhere.

Also, I'll have to think up a spell list for Elrithian, and I would actually appreciate some help with that, if you have the time, Macabre.
