It was about an hour later before Ceres returned. And by that time the captain had apparently already left, or gone to bed. Either way, she was a little bit disappointed. As on the way back, she had noticed a bunch of wanted posters on a message board in the middle of town. And among them was Octavius again. And his bounty had been updated. Instead of his old 25 gold bounty, he was now apparently worth 40. Her bounty had also been posted. Apparently the noble she had stolen the devil's fruit from was still after her, or something like that. She still had the same 10 gold bounty though. "Guess I'll just tell him tomorrow." She mused to herself as she headed to the innkeeper. The day had felt far too short, but nothing they could do about it now. So it was time to head to bed. And it was great to finally be able to take a shower again, so she'd probably spend the next half hour doing that first anyway.

Almost an hour later and Ceres finally emerged from the shower and walked to her bed, feeling quite refreshed. Far too clean for your average pirate, but then again she wasn't your average pirate after all. Lack of sleep from the previous night started to set in, though, so the girl quickly put on some clean underwear and laid in the bed. Quite a bit more comfortable than a hammock, but at the same time it felt wrong. Like something was missing from sleeping like this. Still, it didn't take long for her to fall asleep. Tomorrow would no doubt be a bothersome day, but luckily that was still a good 7 hours away.

Octavius woke up at some point during the night when his body decided he was too cold to keep sleeping half-dressed on top of his bed. A good deal more sober than when he'd first passed out, the captain got up, tossed his clothes off the bed, and finished undressing. Then he peeled the blankets back and snuggled himself into the bed properly, curling up and happily passing out once more. He stayed that way until the morning light came streaming through the window right into his eyes. He tried rolling over, but at that point, the pain in his head was too much, and he wouldn't be going back to sleep. The captain groaned and squinted hard as he attempted to get up and get dressed.

It took some work, but he did eventually manage to put himself together, at which point the warlord decided he needed a whole lot of water and several bacon and egg sandwiches. The thing between him and a cure for his hangover, however, was the stairs. The pirate wasn't going to be stopped at this point, though. He decided that in the worst case scenario, he would just fall down in the stairs, in which case he would just be at the bar faster. So without stopping to try and think any harder, he left his room and moved about as fast as he could manage to the common room, where he could get himself the things he needed to feel better sooner, rather than later.

Of course, lucky for him, when he got there, Octavius discovered that no one was around. That wasn't about to stop Captain Cuttlam, however, and he headed for the kitchen. Of course, he stepped inside just as the cook started clanging pots together, sending him recoiling in pain back into the common room. His pained groan did catch someone's attention however, and after a moment a woman appeared behind the bar. She had a look on her face that said she knew what he needed. "Water... Three bacon and egg sandwiches... Quietly please..." the man whispered, and the barmaid smiled only a little condescendingly, before disappearing again. His water showed up a moment later, a whole pitcher full along with a glass that he ignored. The food was going to take a little longer, but he could wait a little longer now that he at least had some water. With his eyes screwed shut, it was almost tolerable, so he stayed that way unless something around him sounded like it was moving...

Ceres woke up about 20 minutes later. She didn't have a hangover as she hadn't drank nearly as much as the captain. So she felt rather refreshed and energetic when she sat up. It took her a bit longer to get dressed and ready, as, no self-respecting woman would go outside with bed hair, right? Once she was done she was quick to head downstairs, expecting to have to wait for Octavius to wake up. Though instead, he was the one waiting for her. "Awake already I see." She spoke in a hushed tone. As the man looked like he would murder anyone daring to speak too loudly. Clearly he needed a bit more practice in drinking after his year-long imprisonment.

"I doubt you remember much from last night, so I'll show you." The woman spoke as she took two pieces of paper out from her shirt, and placed them in front of him on the table. One with his, and one with her bounty on it. "Seems the government sees you as more of a threat than ever with your new bounty." The news from someone keeping an eye on them could wait a bit longer, at least until he had a chance to eat and recuperate a bit. In the mean time, Ceres decided to also order some food. And since the smell of bacon was already coming from the kitchen at this point, she decided to order a bacon and egg sandwich as well.

Octavius opened an eye when he heard Ceres pull up a stump next to him. He nodded quietly when she observed on his waking state, and carried on sipping at his water. Then she pushed two pieces of paper toward him, and the captain was forced to open both eyes to actually see what she was going on about. Someone had drawn a decent picture of him, and even put a bounty on his head. He smiled at the thought, and his smile widened when his food arrived. He wasn't feeling polite enough to wait for his companion's food to arrive, though, and he dug in immediately. He horked back the first sandwich like his life depended upon it, and the other two followed in short order, though he did manage to eat each one slightly slower than the one before it.

By the time the third bacon and egg sandwich had disappeared, the pirate lord was starting to feel a little better, and he chugged back more water to help that feeling along. At this point, all he really wanted to do was go back to bed, but he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something he was supposed to be doing. Then he remembered that they were supposed to be working today. They needed to patch up their ship, re-evaluate the crew, and see about moving onward and upward. They had ships to sink, people to terrorize, and loot to acquire in vast amounts. He sighed at that, and wondered if he should stop drinking. "Got any plans?" he asked Ceres as quietly as he could. He had no problem taking inspiration from her, especially since she didn't seem to be suffering like he was...
