The option to paste isn't appearing

Okay? If you hold your finger down on the textbox here until options appear much like you did with the image (*after* selecting "copy image location" with an image), there will be no option for paste available? There should be.

You have to hold your finger on an image and click the "copy" button. Then, hit paste inside of [img][/img], which should embed the image. If nothing shows up, paste it into the URL and copy it from there as text.

Tyah... Looks like iDevices seem to be annoying in that regard. Looks like you'll need third party software to copy image addresses *properly* - since simply "Copy" ... really does something far too ambiguous to be reliable. Especially if the image also serves as a link or is otherwise not only image. Is it a specific image you're trying to use? Can you link the page it is on? I can short-term just fetch you its location...

I use a mobile iPhone 5 and have never had an issue with copying image locations.

I use Safari. I know that it used to have an issue where you were forced to paste into the URL first and then copy that, but I do not know if it still exists.

Latest Update

To wrap my head back around my own notifications system, I hacked together a Visitor Message system and added a "Visitor Messages" tab to your profile.

A Visitor Message (VM) is simple a message that you can post directly on someone's profile. It's less "intimate" than a private message and anyone can comment on a VM.

Issues:

- Lacks a lot of polish, it's quite fugly.
- You only receive notifications for new VMs on your wall and replies to VMs on your wall.
- Eventually it will be the default profile tab.
- I can can eventually unify the status-message and visitor-message system. For instance, when you post a VM on your own wall, that should be a status-message. This would let me clean up some redundant UI.
- TODO: The system should notify you when someone replies to a VM you posted on someone else's wall.
- TODO: The system should notify you when someone replies to a VM that you've replied to on someone else's wall.

Lemme know about bugs.

@Mahz I noticed when you are on the VM or Trophies section will change the "Unfriend" button to "Add Friend" to someone that you have as a friend.

@Kirra Good catch. Looks like only the default profile view has the info to know if you're someone's friend or not. I'll push that info into the other tabs too.

Also, it might be a good feature to be able to edit the VMs in case of an unfortunate silly mistake.

Nice. I missed the ability to harass people by posting massively irrelevant pictures on their VM wall just to confuse them.

Are the trophies meant to be for rare challenges or something more like achievements/collectibles? I had a look at my trophies tab, and it feels a bit empty - like a trophy shelf without trophies. If we're going for an achievements system, maybe we can have a 'gag' trophy like 'The Placeholder' for not yet having earned one? Just a thought :).

Yeah, I don't have a problem with that. Though to limit its destructiveness I'd put a time window on the delete function.

I also need to create and link to a page that actually explains what the trophy system is. That system still needs a lot of polish.

I'm thinking of creating a couple beginner trophies that I can also use to onboard new members.

For example, maybe a trophy for creating your introductory topic in the Introduce Yourself forum. Of course, I'd retroactively award any trophies I create.

@Mahz On your VM wall, i can't see the white OP text on the blue corner ribbon of your first post. I'm currently posting from mobile, but can still see the OP text on this thread's post corners. I'll see if I can post a screenshot.
