"You alright?" Ben asked quietly, as though he didn't already know the answer. The answer, very clearly, was 'no'. But given that he had arrived just in time to see his teammate freak out and by all appearances nearly inflict harm to her sparring partner... It was as good an icebreaker as any. And boy was he pretty sure he needed one. Truthfully he hadn't expected to see anything quite like it when he went looking for her. He'd wanted to talk about a few things, vaguely remembered she said something about sparring.

And arrived either just in time or at exactly the wrong time, depending on your perspective. Benjamin Lloyd didn't really feel like judging his timing. Helping out his teammate was a higher priority by a couple of orders of magnitude. Amy's past was a colorful one, but he wasn't exactly privy to very much knowledge about her. Aside from what he had observed in their time as teammates, he was limited to whatever she saw fit to mention. He had a feeling that was about to change.

"Amy?"

Akashi Mayhiro- The true archer.

"Ah, i don't mind really." The taller teen smiled at at Abel "As long as i head to the docks later on, i'm expecting something coming way way." He paused for a second before laughing "Sorry about that! My Name is Akashi Mayhiro" He grinned "Pleasure to meet another student!" patting Abel shoulders he looked around. "Actually, could we grab some food before? I am hungry now that you said it." His brown eye soon spotted a restaurant nearby.

"Gr8 Eats, i've heard that place serves awesome burgers!" Licking his lips Akashi strolled this way towards the eatery. "If anyone wants to come join me, i don't mind it! We'll head to the arcade or something like that afterwards!" giggling lightly he entered the shop and was quickly sat down and started wondering what to chose. Hopefully the other was have done what he was doing and followed him. Or head to the arcade. It didn't bother him really.

Jack Orpheus | Vale

"Yeah, when things get hairy, we'll shave you from danger...", the puns coming out from him and Luke were getting too much, but in any case, that done and done they decided on following Cian to a place for a haircut... If she knew some place. They walked aimlessly for at least a minute before Jack turned to Cian with the question.

"You do have a place in mind right?", he inquired. He didn't personally know many places, there are many he had seen.

"I mean, do you need a stylist? Or just a normal haircut?", he added.

Amber

Amber followed Akashi with a friendly smile on his face. The fox sat to the left of Akashi and looked at the menu. "What are you thinking about getting? We will need a lot of energy for the fun we are thinking of having today." He looked though the menu unable to decide what he should eat. "Um...I'll just have some tacos." Amber sits back and waits for the other person to decide on what they will eat.

"Moshi wha - look, never mind. I told you to wait for me, right? Where are you?" she grumbled.

Suddenly she realized that she was forgetting something important. Not the fact that she hadn't told him where she was or what time it was. She hadn't even told him her name yet.

She sighed.

I feel like I've been more rude to him at this point.

She thought for a moment.

No, scratch that. Hitting on girls first thing in the morning is nothing to be proud of. Still, though.

"Sorry, this is Clair," she said. "You met in me in the gardens, what, ten minutes ago?"

Violet Steel - The more level headed archer -

Sitting across from Amber and Akashi, the wolf faunus' only response to Akashi's antics was a simple sigh as she looked at her menu, a drink already in hand. While her two teammates had been playing around she'd simply been trying to blend in. Utterly impossible with her two comrades around.

Still she said nothing, appearing to be more focused on the menu in her hand. But if one payed attention you could see her spare the occasional glance toward the various Beacon students around Drury Lanes. "I'll have a chicken sandwich, no mustard." Those were the only words she spoke, directed to the waitress, as she handed the menu over and looked back at her teammates. As foolish as she found Akashi's behavior, he was doing a far better job at socializing than she ever could. That was what they were expected to do while they were there. She reluctantly pulled her hood off her head, revealing her dark, purple hair. It was long and straight, and it made her yellow, wolfish eyes stand out all the more. It made her feel oddly exposed, but she could deal with it.

Whether or not she could deal with her teammate's behavior remained to be seen.

"Alright then, I'll take a cheeseburger then!" Closing the menu and smiled. "So! Violet and Amber" he sent a warm and welcoming smile towards them "What do you wanna do afterwards? I was thinking a bit of Basketball or heading to the movies." The brown hair teen drummed his fingers on the table lightly "Oh, before that why don't a get ourselves acquainted? If i remember, none of us had to proper time and chance to tell each other about who are really are." He Pointed at Amber "Shotgun not going first!"

Cian | Vale Salon

"I Know of a place not that far from here so we should be th ere soon" Cian said without turning around as she continued forward her destination not that far as she stated rather a few more minutes walking. Eventually though the saloon came into sight it was a small but there was no plalce she would rather go to. "Ah hello I would like to get my hair trimmed" Cian asked as she walked inside where there was a single woman working appearing to be in her mid twenties. From there she was ushered quickly into a seat and the lady quickly went to work washing her hair and the like before drying it and finally getting ready to cut her hair.

"You do know that calling shotgun means that you are calling to go first not passing it to someone else?" Seeing as you lack that basic knowledge I might as well go first." Amber smiles as he leans on the table. "As you already know I go by Amber but that is not my real name and no I'm not telling you what it is. My semblance is camouflage. My weapons are a rifle, that can fire special round that I make myself, and two daggers." He leans back in his chair. "Who would like to go next?"

Violet Steel

Violet said nothing as the two boys talked. Half of what they were saying was nonsense, what did it matter who went first? She took a sip of her drink before calmly placing it back on the table. Amber, as the fox faunus called himself, had a semblance that apparently gave him camouflage, along with a incendiary ranged weapon, along with two daggers for melee combat. His explanation was simple and lacked details, but it was adequate.

She decided to go next, she didn't speak much, but that didn't mean she was shy. She simply found speaking about utter nonsense to be pointless and only spoke when she felt like speaking, or found it necessary.

"I'm Violet Steel, I'm eighteen. My weapon is a compound bow that can become two scimitars if necessary. My semblance allows me to mark a person or object and be able to find them no matter where they are." She reasoned that would satisfy them, and if she was going to be working with these two, it was necessary to know each other's abilities.

Kuhaku Shiro - Drury Lanes/Gr8 Eats

Disinterested with bowling for the moment, Shiro made his way over to 'Gr8 Eats'. Looking at the neon sign, he smiled and chuckled to himself at the eatery's name. Already knowing what he wanted, he walked up and placed his order. His order a plain burger with a side of fries and a soda. Producing his Lien card to pay for his meal, he tapped it against the register where it automatically took the appropriate funds. "Would you like a receipt, sir?" the male cashier asked. Shiro shook his head. "No, thank you." He then stuffed his card in his pocket as he waited for his order to be completed. Turning around, his ears twitched as he started to take notice of the other patrons of the bowling alley. A colorful group of students seemed to be discussing something, it looked like they were introducing themselves to one another. Curiously, he tilted his head. Had another team of students formed at Beacon? Ears drooping as a brief expression of exasperation washed over him, it really killed him being left out of the loop without his Scroll. He would've been able to easily keep up to date on all news related to Beacon and check his abysmally small student bank account if he still had one. He was still waiting on Gren to get him a replacement, however his partner was going to manage that. As his name was called up for his food, Shiro turned back around and took his platter. Grinning brightly and thanking the cashier.

Quickly picking out his seat at an unoccupied table, he set his tray down and neatly arranged his area before digging in. The cashier even thought to give him a little cup with ketchup in it. "How thoughtful," Shiro mused. After spreading an even and thin layer of mayonnaise on the underside of the top bun of the burger, he dug in. Eating quickly, but not appearing to be gorging himself he took particular care to not make a mess. Not a single crumb left the boundaries of his red plastic tray. He kept his mouth and bandaged hands well-wiped and free of any grease or food particles. Each fry he dipped into the little clear plastic cup of ketchup, alternating between bites of his burger. Delighted at the juiciness of the burger meat, the warm and soft buns, and the crispy fries Shiro seemed content with his meal. Finished within minutes, he washed his meal down with refreshing gulps of his soft drink. Cold, carbonated, and with plenty of ice. Downing his beverage, he swiftly gathered all of his trash and cleared his area before getting up with his tray to toss out the trash. An intrigued Scoot hopped up onto the table and sniffed around for any remains, only to find none. Smirking, Shiro paused to ruffle the ferret's head. "Sorry, buddy. Too little, too late. I would've shared if you were any quicker." The rodent seemed to huff and scampered off.

After disposing of his refuse, a full Shiro wandered over to the arcade to see what games they had to offer. He saw the obligatory racing games, twitch shooters, and button-mashing fighting games. Complementing those were of course the rhythm and dancing games along with a prize-grabber along with various other games that failed to catch his eye or hold his interest. Especially the prize-grabber game. He could never win at those and were convinced they were all rigged to just steal little kids' money. Deciding to see if he still had his old skill, he tried his hand at the arcade fighting game. Selecting a small amount of Lien to convert into tokens, he again tapped his Lien card against the machine responsible for doling out the arcade's particular currency. Grabbing a fistful of tokens, he walked over to the game machine and set his jingling coins on a free space of the console with a cacophonous clinking clatter. Stopping for a moment, he wondered why arcades still used such an archaic way to unlock access to their games. Couldn't he just tap or scan his lien card every so often as with most all other methods of payments for other services? Shrugging, he figured it was a way to maybe limit those from going overboard and emptying children's pocketbooks of their lien allowance. Funny, considering such things like the prize-grabber existed. Shiro swore no one could ever win at those, and refused to believe anyone could ever win at them. Such people existed in dreams and fantasies, he surmised. Sticking his tongue out, he cracked and popped his knuckles and slid in two tokens to start up a game. As the title/splash screen of the fighter game flashed across the screen, he quickly browsed the character roster and made his selection. His short-attention span causing him to ignore the name of the game or the fighter he picked. She was some long-haired blonde fist-fighter. She looked tough and cool, which was all Shiro needed to decide on his pick.

Fingers rapidly tapping away, Shiro began pounding away through the game's 'campaign'. Scoot, forever nosy, climbed up along Shiro's back to perch on his shoulder to see what the tiger faunus was up to. Scoot sniffing at the air, Shiro's focus allowed him to not become distracted by his little friend as his blonde fighter avatar expertly blasted away at the easier difficulty fighters with her awesome shotgun-gauntlets.

Luke Schwarz -- Indulgence

Seemed a nice enough place.

Plopping in one of the designated waiting chairs, the silently loquacious teen watched his comrade get walked off to her seat, transformation beginning.

Best keep it a surprise.

Looking down, he scanned the contents of the coffee table laid out in front of him, giving them a casual once-over before flipping on his (phone/scroll/whatever a knowledgable narrator would say), and browsing the typical lineup.

Nothing new happening at Peak.

Typical of a martial arts place's website, I guess.

Terraria patches.

Standard enough after a big update.

WHO PAID YOU TO GRAB DR. PAVEL?

"Hehe."

Sliding the mobile device back into his pocket, he grabbed a random piece of mindless garbage stuffed into magazines out of one part morbid curiosity and two boredom, and perused it's contents.

That's not how the human body works...

The photoshopping here's pretty obvious.

I don't believe that for a se--

SHE WHAT?!

That couldn't be true! There's no way people would actually read something so blatantly impossible! He refused to believe anyone could read something so insultingly low-brow and sensationalist and believe it! He needed to investigate the full depth of this mockery of the rational mind!

Hook, line, sinker.

Having committed a literature enthusiast and general human being's cardinal sin, he continued to absorb the "story" in excruciating detail.

Robert Fallson - Drury Lanes

Robert was the type of guy who had trouble sitting still for long periods of time, usually needing to walk around or pace to give himself something to do. So while he waited for his turn to come up, he began to do exactly that, pacing behind everyone while watching the game proceed. Little by little Robert began to saunter farther and farther away from the group, until he eventually found himself no longer coming back and just wandering around the building. He watched other people's games, he looked over the menu of the strangely named 'GR8 Eats,' before finally entering the arcade. Amazed by the brights lights and digital sounds, he entered the large room. Without even realizing it, Robert found himself with a large handful of tokens that he bought with the lien he was awarded with from the Protest mission. "One game wouldn't hurt. Or several. Right?" he asked himself. "Of course not. Now what to play?"

Choosing the first thing he saw, the red-haired student stood in front of the crane game. "Won't it be great if I came back to the dorms with some stuffed animal for Priscilla?" he said as he put in his first coin. Music began to play from the machine to announce to the fellow arcaders that the infamous crane game had ensnared yet another poor victim. The crane began to slowly move as Robert nudged the joystick slightly, trying to line it up with a cute looking teddy bear. "Be the crane. Be the crane. Be the crane," he repeated to himself, as if the chant would somehow save him from the misery that would soon come. Hesitantly, Robert pressed the small red button that would make the crane lower and hopefully grab his prize. But it was all in vain, as the claw clamped down and slid right off as soon as it retracted. He made a disappointed grunt before trying again. And again, and again, and again, and again. Each time nowhere closer to success than the last. Before long, half of Robert's lien had been wasted on the crane game. Another day, another poor sucker scammed out of his money.

Robert walked away in shame, looking around the corner of the door to check back on the bowling game to see if he had missed his turn while he was throwing his money away. Surprisingly, he still had plenty of people ahead of him before his turn. "I guess that's what happens when you play with a group this large." Turning back to the arcade, Robert noticed a familiar figure standing in front of one of the many 2-D fighting games. "Hey, Shiro! Mind if play with you? he said as he approached the cat faunus. "I warn you though, I've never played this game before. I could be a total pro, and even I wouldn't know," he said while poorly imitating several different martial art postures. "Kyaa!" he shouted as he chopped at an imaginary target in front of him.

Cobalt watched Robert attempt the crane game multiple times and frowned. He really wanted that cute bear. Cobalt shrugged and took out some lien of his own. He walked up to the crane and the music began. He moved the claw around to get a feel for it and tried to grab the bear. He managaed to get its ear but the claw's grip failed and the hair slipped. Cobalt's frown got a little wider and he took out some more lien. He had a good feel for this machine so he could probably get it this time.

A good ten minutes later Cobalt was very unhappy with this machine. He inserted the last of his lien, that he had given himself that day to spend, and the machine started once more. He grabbed the bear by its arm and watched it inch closer to the hole. Cobalt was practically sweating as he glared at the claw and willed it to move to the hole. The claw let go at the very edge and the bear went right into the hole. "Yes! Hell yeah!" He cheered as he grabbed the bear from the receptacle. People were staring at the large man with blue hair dancing, but he didn't care. He got the bear. He glanced over at Robert and he began to think.

" Hey, do you want this?" Cobalt tapped Robert on the shoulder and held the bear out in his other hand. "I'm not a very big fan of stuffed animals and you were trying to get this earlier." He lied with a smile. He really didn't want to give this away after so much work, but it was the right thing to do. He seemed to want it more anyways.

Gratia Mindaro and Vega Venetia

Eating after shopping was quite relaxing for the two though the original restaurant Vega planned was packed so they ate at gourmet burger restaurant. Pricey but the food was quality. Afterwards the two strolled around Vale until coming across a sign...

"Drury Lanes...hm. Want to check it out?"

Gratia's only response was an ambivalent glance at her team leader, onyx eyes bland and uncaring in their gaze. It was evident that she held no particular view of going into the bowling alley; it wasn't as if she had anything better to fucking do. All she really cared for as of current was the gigantic triple-choc strawberry and mango smoothie that she was in the midst of sucking out of a curvy red straw.

As well as listening to music. Headphones snugly attached to her ears, permanent scowl as her expression and an aura of spiky solemnity around her, the Huntress trainee was definitely not somebody who seemed approachable as they entered through the doors of Drury Lanes.

The place had a neon-style vibe, noticing the ' as Vegas Gr8 Eats' sign. Hm this place does not seem so bad.. People were present from whether to the old men bowling to young teenagers, probably students from Beacon in Vega's mind. Vega gave a glance to Gratia after noticing the Arcade, "What to check out the Arcade and pass some time?"

Vega had a stolid expression, was reserved. After all a long day in Vale exhausted her. One thing noticeable was that she wore her new jacket over her summery outfit, zipped up all the way only showing her shorts noticeable. She then crossed her arms glancing once more with reserved tight lips.

A shrug was the response. Despite being surrounded by the unwashed masses of Valian idiots, she didn't really care whether or not they visited the Arcade or not. She'd let her team leader do what team leaders did: "lead". For something that didn't even fucking matter, but it wasn't like it bothered her that much anyway.

Cian | Vale Salon

Getting her haircut down she stepped down from the chair and quickly borrowed a mirror to fix her three recently brought hair clips to keep a bang out of her eye. With that done she went to greet her teammates "so what do you think" she asked as she turned around full circle so they can catch a glimpse of it. To her honestly it felt better like this for her it was easier and she didn't have to worry about her hair getting in her eyes when she turned her head sharply or anything like that. For her it fell into two simple categories it has to be practical and at least be somewhat fashionable. Call her whatever you want but you can't shake the fact that at times it is hard to do both. "Either way I am finished with my errand did you still want to check out the bookstore Luke?" She asked as she looked at the magazine that he has clenched tightly in his hand still it seemed that he fell for the common trap most fall for with magazines like that.

Luke Schwarz -- Red-Handed

"Huh?" he asked, looking up from his dissection of the presumed scandal--

And feeling his ears start to burn as soon as he made eye contact with her. Not good! She saw him reading such superficial drivel with all that gusto! She was gonna think less of him for getting roped in so easily! He was but a plebian, another member of the unthinking masses now! He never wanted this!

Scrambling slightly, he tossed the magazine away with a nervous and embarrassed chuckle. "Uh, yeah, sure! Maybe find something actually worth my time to read, right?"

Okay, I've applied enough misdirection for reasonable doubt, right? Surely she'll understand!

It's Cian! A good friend like her obviously would get it!

I have faith in my teammate!

What was the first question? Her hair, right. The whole reason they were there in the first place.

...

His ears continued their slow burn, albeit in a much more muted and hard-to-notice manner. After all, she was a girl showing her new cut off right in front of him... Not an altogether common experience. And the style itself, for that matter, was one that he may or may not have had a weakness for...

"I like it." he said after some careful deliberation. "I think it's pretty cute, actually. Looks good!"

Kuhaku Shiro - Drury Lanes' Arcade
(Going for the High Score!)

Sparing a glance away from the glowing screen of the arcade machine, Shiro saw Robert get suckered into blowing a good bit of his Lien by the prize-grabber game. Snickering, he shook his head in his moment of distraction. Golden eyes flitting back to his game, he was briefly shocked as his blonde fist-fighter's avatar was punished for his drop in attention. At this point, the difficulty in his virtual opponents was increasing. The stage's antagonist taking a good chunk out of his avatar's 'Aura Meter' with a nasty combo. Furiously tapping away, Shiro barely managed to eek out a clutch victory. "Phew! Nearly lost that round," he thought as he wiped at his forehead before moving into the next match. Mid-match, Robert came up to him after being defeated by 'The Dreaded Claw' asking if he could play with him. Forgetting that there was no 'Pause' button to the game, he turned away from the screen and smiled, "Sure, no problem! But I warn you, I won't take it easy on you even if you're a newblet. I will show no mercy for pros and scrubs alike!" Shiro started to grin, but had to take a moment to digest Robert's awkward moment of weirdness as he mirrored what he thought were legitimate martial arts stances. Even going so far as to 'Kyaa!' and karate-chop at the air in front of him. "Wow. He's stranger than I am," He couldn't help but burst in a fit of hearty laughter.

Bad move.

Just as he proclaimed to show no mercy on any fellow duelist, the game did the same to him in a matter of speaking. A loud announcer's voice declared 'YOU LOSE' and Shiro whirled around in horror with his mouth agape in astonishment to find his blonde pugilist knocked out and on the ground. A 10-second countdown timer ticked down and almost snidely asked him if he wanted to continue. Cobalt came up to them with a stuffed animal toy in hand asking Robert if he wanted it, but Shiro had other plans for Robert. Nearly slamming more tokens into the machine, he elected to continue but then inserted more tokens in Robert's stead. Essentially, he momentarily postponed his progress as the Challenger's selection screen came up. Reaching over, Shiro grabbed a fistful of Robert's shirt and jerked him over to stand next to him. Pointing a bandage-wrapped finger at the screen, Shiro looked at the red-head. "Pick a character now!" he nearly commanded Robert. Sure, his loss was all his own fault. But that wasn't going to stop the faunus-boy from taking it out on his friend, at least in the virtual fighting game. Once he managed to trounce Robert, he would feel better after attaining his vengeance and continue to finish his campaign. Though, the final levels may prove to be difficult. The stinging, almost mocking replay showed his blonde avatar get stun-locked into an impossibly dizzying combo that quickly whittled down his valiant fighter's Aura Meter in mere seconds.

Robert Fallson - The Arcade

It was only when he felt the touch of someone tapping him on the shoulder that Robert realized the ridiculousness of his previous actions. He tried to pretend that he wasn't embarrassed by the display, but he couldn't hide the blood that was rushing to his cheeks. Seeing who had called for his attention and why they had done so quickly distracted him from his shame though. "R-Really? Thanks, dude. I really appreciate it. If you ever need anything, just giv-" Robert began before being cut off by Shiro suddenly grabbing him in anger.

Since he had been talking with Cobalt, he hadn't noticed Shiro become distracted and lose his game and was completely confused by the change in behavior. "Okay," Robert agreed as he grabbed the joystick of the game, slightly nervous of Shiro's sudden rage. He looked at each individual character's portrait and chose the one he felt had the coolest appearance, completely ignoring any of their stats. "This guy seems cool," he said as he chose the blond, sword and shield wielder. Little did he know that the character he had chosen was in fact just a joke character the developers had put in the game and was infamous among fans for being the worst character in the game. When the match began, Robert quickly pressed each if the buttons to see what each one did. "Alright, I'm ready! Let's do this!" Robert said as he rested his fingers on the jab and kick buttons.

Akashi Mayhiro- The true archer.

"Since that's out of the way." Akashi stretched his arms forward, his fingertips were millimeters away from touching Violet "Name's Akashi Mayhiro or as my friends like to say: Akky." he paused for a moment "Well my weapons is a Bow and Arrow...it's cross between modern and old school if you think about it, Old since it doesn't have a secondary form like other- except it can collapse for better convenience and has a variety of special type arrows." As the food was brought to them he piped up again "For my Semblance is Gravity: how i use it is up to your imagination~" he chuckled at that.

"Let's eat shall we?"
