Let me try and explain it this way... Normal users would log into the DgtWld via their cell phone or any other computer device. They can either use the internet normally as we do now. Or they could use music as a means of immersion. They close their eyes, pick a song, location and their mind is elsewhere. They are unable to say create a copy and meet up with other people in a "chat room". Correctors on the other hand have the distinct ability to detach themselves from the real world and implant themselves in the DgtWld, thus giving themselves their own body/avatar that can only be used by Cnnt (given to a Corrector by the Gvn) or another program a hacker has created to mimic the Cnnt application. Correctors cannot interact with normal people in this form because normal users would be on a much safer "plane" of the DgtWld where as Correctors and dangerous things lurk behind the scenes in the dark empty voids of the online world. Does that make better sense?

@TheMusketMan It still doesn't look like you gave specifics about the ammo he can reload with. If you're hellbent on keeping the bike, even for occasional use, I would still strongly say the flaming face would need to go or one of his guns would. It still seems like too much junk for him to have...

Ok, what if I trade out the guns for a chain whip thing like the actual comic book character has? EDIT: I edited my CS to fit the chain whip idea. This way, he's not too op, he can still stay Ghost Rider and occasionally have a bike.

Not to mention it can extend and retract to be easily carried? @Anonymous Nonnie, hush. ;p @TheMusketMan Honestly it's a little frustrating how long this has drawn-out for, it makes you seem uncooperative and mulish, but that aside I'm still willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. Yes, the slight obsession your character has with Ghost Rider and the bike was vexing but I get it, it's your character's thing. However my main issue has and continues to be your weapon choices, not necessarily the weapon itself but the bizarre dynamics you give them. they're not realistic, this is a light sci-fi and slice of life. The weapons you augment make them seem like heavy sci-fi or fantasy. No one carries or needs 150 bullets to reload with, a 230 ft long whip is overkill and could easily guy tangled up and have a series of misfortunes along with it. You start off with reasonable ideas but then they get out of hand, just tune it down a little. Weapons should reflect the character's age and experience, they magically don't have limits, limits still exist with in the DgtWld. At this point all we're asking is that you actually think about the weapon. What seems REALISTIC and would be understandable to have? Does it have any drawbacks? Does it have any weaknesses? Is it meant for up close in personal, or hit and run? Where would it leave your character open to attack at? Little things like that make it easier to understand what you're going for and how it works. Details are lovely and always appreciated. If you want to use the revolver, perhaps drop the ammo count down to say 50? If you want to go back and use the whip, which are snazzy, bring it down to 10 feet. The chain part would probably be too heavy and the fire might just cause the metal to overheat and burn his hands. See limits and drawbacks. ~Alice

Updated and I don't wanna come across as an uncooperative dick, it's just... I like to be loaded for bear. And sometimes I get carried away and combine that with me being a stubborn ass. It's not a great combo. I'm sorry.

I don't think you need to feel all that bad. It's not like you're maliciously drawing out the process. I just think your understanding of the tone and nature of this RP were a bit off from the very beginning. Misunderstandings like that make it hard to keep adding 'hotfixes' to your character, like you're backpedaling up a hill. Somebody like Ghost Rider might have fit in an RP that looks a lot like this. But in this one, because of the way that combat is going to be balanced (which is difficult to tell at first glance) he's totally out of place. You have to put in a lot of work to make him fit into a group of 20-somethings with slightly-above-average human powers. Ghost Rider's whole kit in the comic book is based off of looking totally badass and completely dominating most of his enemies. But those two things don't fit in here. That's why you've had to tone him down so much. What /does/ fit in is "Guy who likes motorcycles and likes to shoot guns or swing a chain around, but has a hard time doing any of those things" Which isn't very Ghost-rider-ish at all, in the end. Your desire to cling to the broken source material has ended up with your character being far less than you wanted. Is he going to be less interesting to play as a result? The combat's not going to be a huge focus here, so spending so much time and frustration trying to min/max his power level seems totally pointless to me. And because of the tonal dissonance between "Ghost Rider" and everyone else here, your character's avatar was going to always be a huge elephant in the room, with the bike and the fire and the over 9000 bullets. You know? That's why those things had to be changed, if I'm reading the situation correctly. Not because of their combat abilities being too strong, but mostly because they dove off the deep end of the RP, tonally, which is trying to keep things semi-realistic, with a slight increase in human combat potential. I hope that cleared up a bit and offered some perspective on why you're running into these walls all the time. If not, well, I'm just talking out of my ass anyway. I just don't really care for the abrupt shift in passions from a couple of people here recently, so I'm trying to help out where I can.
