I feel like the fight scene in general was just... bad. It wasn't very long for a supposed catastrophe, it was a huge cluster fuck and nobody really got any time to shine because everybody got a chance to shine and not enough screen time was around for them all to share.

Except Team CFVY. Because you know, they've been so relevant until now that their presence was direly needed.

Feels like the entire episode should've just be named 'Foreshadowing for Volume 3' instead of the Volume 2 finale.

Eh... the fights with the Grimm in Volume 2 were all rather lack-luster in comparison to the initiation in Volume 1 or even Jaune's fight against the Ursa. Like Ruby in this episode when she's spinning around on her scythe and kicking the Beowolves, that was just felt more lazy and dull than anything, although I can completely understand why they did it.

There were some good parts though, most of Team CFVY until Coco's part, and Emerald's little snippet are what stick out the most.

This episode kinda sucked imo. RWBY rushes too much. Or rather, it spends time on stupid stuff then good plot moving stuff is just rushed. I was just disappointed with the episode overall. Disappointed with a lot of this volume.

Like, I know RWBY isn't even that good to begin with but smh. They need to study writing and story telling.

Vol 2 is "I told you this story so I can tell you the next one without you feeling like we cheated a plothole"

Also, had to include characters the public demanded.

Likely some sort of unnoticed background event that will be relevant by Vol 4 or 8.
-Especially the parts we don't understand to such an extent we aren't even discussing it for fear of plot-blocking the show.

What we do have, is more of Yang's past, and how she's acting as a guide/mentor for Blake.
-Even Weiss is helping look after her well-being. Weiss.

At times I'm not sure Ruby even realizes she's leading them. Or rather, how to lead. Or is she avoiding responsibility?

Well then, I'm planning out a crossover between Madoka Magika and RWBY, set in the RWBY verse with some PMMM mechanics. This could be interesting.

Yeah, it will be. For example, Grimm are Witch's Familiars, Penny is actually a magical girl who's soul was shoved inside a robot, Dust is used instead of Grief Seeds, and Cinder has an actual plan, but is also borderline insane and just very good at hiding it. Most of the time.

And I'd like to think of it as Rooster-Teeth acquiring fullscreen, and by extension, now proud owners of AT&T.
-Not bad for a couple of nerds in Texas that started by just voice-dubbing Halo-night to a whacky narrative and drunk-storytelling.

Now all that's left is to keep it authentic.

Worst case, the core-staff leaves, makes a new group, and makes sure everybody knows.

ofc, chances are AT&T now owns a tiny bit of RvB, and RWBY, and drunk-tank... but I'm sure they can think of something original if they had to.
-In short, don't fuck the golden goose unless you want horrible abominations against nature instead of golden eggs.

Although if revenue reaches a certain point, they'll want a bigger cut than just free-publicity for their social-media.
