Appearace: 5'11 and 185lbs, he has an average build with semi-muscular composure and broad shoulders. His black hair goes only halfway down his neck with groups of strands falling haphazardly over his face (from months of not grooming properly.) Usually wears simple cloaks and robes over neutral looking clothes, but he also has a modified military uniform that grants him protection without restricting his movements.

Abilities: Chit Zai is a highly skilled prodigy of the fire nation military. He has mastered all basic and is adept in advanced fire bending techniques, including the use of lightning. This does not make him perfect however, he believes that to only be the foundation of his martial arts and hopes to combine experience in the world and his own creativity to develop into an much greater fire bender. He is also in experienced in fighting any of the other elements, which leaves him susceptible to the unexpected.

Personality: Chit Zai is strong willed, intelligent, and determined to a fault. However he can be a bit of a jerk to those around him as he has a hard time focusing on anything other than his long term goals. Like many Fire nation nobles, he is incredibly honour-bound which leads him to behave in sometimes impractical ways.

Brief Bio: Second Born to a noble Fire Nation Family, the Zan family, Chit Zai had been pushed to a military career from a very young age. Chit Zai had taken this on himself as his preordained destiny and had committed himself to being the greatest soldier he could become. He entered basic training at the age of 8, and moved on to officer training when he was 12. While still in training, the new avatar, had begun his training with some of the greatest teachers the nation had to offer. Chit Zai was astonished when he had been asked to participate in this training. It had occurred to him that he was often being praised for his technique and adaptability, but he certainly never expected such an honour. When the ice began to encroach on the fire nation's borders, and the water tribe began the first of its attacks, Chit Zai was transferred to a special ops team; he was sent out into enemy territory, often alone, to gather intelligence and prevent large scale attacks by any means possible.

Extras:Chit Zai's flames usually have a greenish tinge to them, he has been told this is because of the courageous will that burns within him; he is not sure he believes that.

Name: Jalika (Jaw-Lee-Caw)
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Element: Air
Abilities: Is fairly well versed in the standard air bending forms, but as her lack of tattoos attests, she never mastered them. Instead, she practices a form of her own invention, called the Crooked Breeze. Its movements mimic the swaying and stumbling of the heavily intoxicated. The style is based heavily on initial deception, and unpredictable movements. It's a very weak style against anyone who has studied it. Fortunately, at the moment Jalika is the only one who knows it.

Personality: Carries a lot of the introspection that is common in Air Nomads, but without their air of lightheartedness and fun. Her personality is a mish-mash of traits, both earnest and affected. She appears as a typical drunk, and yet is known to dispense wisdom to anyone who bothers to listen to her. She acts as if she is still grieving for her loss, but has turned her need to nurture on to others. With Jalika, nothing is, in its entirety, on the surface, and she is not easy to read.

Brief Bio: Though traditionally nomadic, Jalika would have called the Western Air Temple home in her youth. She was born there, and it was usually where she would return between journeys. She was poised to complete her training and attain mastery of Air Bending, but was jolted from her normal life when her bison companion was killed for fur by poachers. In her despair, she ran from the Temple and isolated herself for nearly a year.

When she returned, the elder monks tried to use her friend's death as a teaching tool, warning her against earthly attachments. Rather than comfort her, Jalika was enraged by how little they regarded her loss. To her, it wasn't a mere physical loss, it was a spiritual one. On this note of disagreement, she left the order for good.

In the years to come, Jalika fell into a cycle of despondence and alcoholism. That is, until she came upon a mothberry grove, so called because the plants feed the infant worms of spider-moths. When she came upon the grove, she found that it was often beset by silk makers, who would take the cocoons, the metamorphosing worms still inside, and boil them down to take the silk, with little regard for the creature inside. Jalika chased the cloth makers away, and found new meaning living in the mothberry grove, protecting the moths' young from predators and poachers alike. Since she's taken up residence, the grove has grown large and wild. She takes the husks of the cocoons, after the moths have hatched, and spins it into her own wild silk, which she sells to the people of the Fire Nation nearby.

Extras:
~ Can ride a Giant Spidermoth as a mount.
~ Still owns a traditional air bender's staff, but usually doesn't carry it.
~ Uses a pair of fans for air bending instead. Carries a variety of them on her person, as she often picks them up from festivals in the Fire Nation.
~ Still shaves her head every day.
~ Is often carrying a bottle of some shape or form.

Name: Mao Lei
Age: 16 (and a half, as she likes to remind people)
Gender: Female
Element: Earth
Abilities: Mao has gotten most of her training in guerrilla warfare, and she is at her most effective in a situation where the opponent doesn't know what she can do, or an ambush. Her fighting style focuses on immobilizing targets limbs to keep them from bending, and occasionally blinding them with clouds of dirt or sand but she is also quite adept with typical earthbending techniques. She is not a master in any one particular style of Earthbending, but is instead effective with a wide number and combines them into a very effective, unpredictable style.
Personality: Mao is surprisingly chipper for someone who lost her home and family to Iluq's conquest, but that's partially to disguise her trauma over the event. She is a fairly tough and stubborn individual, but she could be prone to a breakdown with the right prodding.
Brief Bio: Mao lived a rather peaceful life with her parents and younger sister in Ba Sing Se. They were not particularly wealthy but lived a happy life together, with Mao getting her early earthbending teaching from her father. That was, until the Water Tribe conquest finally reached Ba Sing Se. When Water Tribe soldiers arrived at their small home, Mao's father attempted to protect them while Mao created a secret back passage for them to escape through. Her mother was lost during the escape and when she made it to the outer walls it was just her and her little sister, and she used her earthbending to try and tunnel through the wall. It worked, but she only managed to get her sister outside the wall before the soldiers caught up to them, dragging her back into the city and taking her eye in the process. Eventually she made her way into the network of underground tunnels used by the Earth Kingdom Resistance, and joined them in their raids for awhile before deciding that their tactics were proving ineffective, and she chose to seek out the Avatar.

Element: Native to fire
Abilities: Moderately skilled with hand to hand combat, and could easily compete as a novice gymnast. He is rather acrobatic, and knows several basic stances to firebending.
Personality: Masaru is normally easygoing and relaxed, but passionate at the wrong times, and occasionally about the wrong things. His lack of direction has hindered him before in his firebending lessons, but he has been able to bring himself to focus when needed. Despite his easygoing personality, he can become competitive in the blink of an eye, which brings him into a focused and stubborn state of mind.
Brief Bio: Masaru was born on Ember Island, and has lived with his mother, father, and older sister for the majority of his life. it wasn't until only a year before the white lotus started his training that his sister left the family to work as cryptologist and archivist.

From an early point in his life, the order of the white lotus has been working to keep the Avatar a secret. When Iluq began her attacks on the world, they decided to tell him about him being the Avatar and to begin his training. Before the White Lotus, Masaru has always struggled with his firebending. He displayed the aptitude for it, but could never focus. Months of training did well to focus him, and help him on his way to becoming a fully realized Avatar.

Extras: He has learned that starting fires with certain items can make them different colors, and keeps small little objects in his possession to bend different colors of fire.

Appearance:
Standing just over six feet tall, Erok has a medium to thick overall build, dark skin as typical of Water tribesmen, and short brown hair, slightly longer on the left side. He wears neutral colored clothes and overcoat when traveling, but also wears a black and blue armored suit, complete with an insulated mask while on a mission.

Element: Water

Abilities:
Erok is a soldier trained in combative water bending, as well as being trained in both hand to hand combat and with various swords. His training has increased his endurance, mental and physical stamina, in addition to active duty giving him experience in battling benders of other elements.

Erok is nearing mastery of water bending, and in particular, his greatest asset is his creativity. Work as an assassin and spy have lead him to be proficient at dealing with small groups of opponents; facing off against more than four opponents at once while alone places Erok at a disadvantage. However, Erok can often make a quick escape if he is alone. Erok is capable of freezing and boiling water without much effort, and his water movements are unlike other trained water benders in that his water will travel more often in specific shapes, rather than just waves. All this considered, Erok cannot control massive amounts of water at once very easily, instead putting a heavy focus on smaller amounts that he can exert better control of, in order to compensate.



Personality:

Erok is a straightforward man who prefers words to fists when possible. Usually cool-headed, Erok tends to become rather detached under pressure, a coping mechanism meant to shield Erok from emotion while working as an assassin. He is both an excellent tactician and strategist, although this is rather limited to his own abilities, as he tries to not count on the success of others in order to avoid disappointment or loss. Therefore, while he can construct an excellent large scale strategy, he is better served on the battlefield.

Name: Zodin Fu

Abilities: Zodin is a hardened warrior who has won countless battles in the past, this is because of his strategical prowess in combat. Zodin's fighting style is similar to military trained men, one of the few differences between Zodin's and military style fighting, is Zodin's speed. Zodin's fighting style would be very predictable if not for his incredible talent to move and control his body at such high speeds. Unlike some, Zodin doesn't substitute power for speed, Zodin has trained his body over the years to be strong and fast, minimalizing disadvantages in hand to hand combat. Paired with Zodin's incredible fighting, he has his earthbending.

Although his fists are a force to be reckoned with, his skill in earth bending is mediocore at best. Zodin is capable of preforming basic earth bending stances and techniques and very few more. Zodin's training, along with his skill, was basic and short lived. But this fact does not hinder his letheality, for instead of fighting with his earth bending, he simply uses it as a supplementary skill to his already masterful hand to hand combat. This combination has turned the heads of many foes, literally and metaphorically.

Zodins fighting style is fast, powerful, and unpredictable, making his attacks hard to dodge and even harder to block. The obvious downside to his fighting style is his inability to fight with his bending. He has fought people who can bend the elements before and they have always proven more difficult then their non bending counterpart. For Zodin, range has been a difficulty as well. Earth bebding at far range is beyond his capabilities and fighting long ranged attackers makes life for him so much harder.

Personality: Among other things, Zodin is determined. He prides himself on being able to start something and end it, than to be able to look back on it is something that amazes him. No job is to big or to small, and no matter the trouble that lies on the road to his goal, Zodin never gives up. He is particularly "Gung-Ho" about his jobs, but other than that he can be reasonable and calm.

Zodin is almost always standoffish when it comes to meeting new people, and dealing with others. It takes almost nothing for him to distrust you, in contrast, he claims to be trustworthy. If it comes down to work, Zodin will put up with an extra body if it means getting paid in the end.

Brief BioAll through out Zodin's earlier years of life, he traveled from city to city with his parents. Omashu, , Ba Sing Se, all once dear to him, now nothing more than a fading distant memory. Constantly moving was never once one of his desires, yet his parents still traveled around contrary to his wishes. Like all of Zodin's homes, his friends came and gone like the wind as well, pushing Zodin more and more into a sad yet inevitable life of loneliness and detachment. This played a large role in the development of his unwavering determination to stay with something until its completed, unlike his parents.

Zodin's soul grew older each passing day, each city he moved to he'd experienced something new. It wasn't long before he'd been to every town in the earth kingdom. Having experienced a little bit of everything, Zodin decided to take up an occupation that require little to no sentimental or physical attachment.Although his commitment is steadfast, he still feels like getting to close to someon or something is a had idea, because it can only lead to disappointment and anguish. After a bit of self actualization and planning, Zodin decide to become a mercenary. Nothing In this field of work will tie him down and he won't need to make any strong connections with people.

A few months later, Zodin left his parents and began rigorous trading for the following 8 years. Finally, here he stands as a paid mercenary for the Queen of frost herself on a mission to bring the avatar to her, dead or alive.
