Fantasy nation roleplay?

I'm not good at introductions, so here goes: Would anyone be interested in a fantasy nation roleplay, set in roughly the late Middle Ages? I was hoping the players would be the one's who made the story, rather than have fixed events and time periods to pass through.

I was hoping the players could make the storyline, history, nations and what-have-you themselves. That way, everyone has a story they can make themselves, rather than me railroading you.

As in America and Australia? Depends. Would people like a new world? I've seen some other people try it, but it doesn't always turn out well

Longbows and Crossbows are still preferred as ranged weapons, though I guess Pike and Shot was increasing in popularity around this time, so early gunpowder weapons. Cannons, likewise, are too early to use consistently.

At this note: my usual hand of guidance is to actually partake in an RP first-off and not make your own. Learn the nuances from the participation stand-point and even build connections before trying something bound to be short-lived.
