Real Name: Cruz, Alicia
Superhero Name: Blast Girl
Normal Appearance: Her hair is blonde and she has very lightly tanned skin, with green eyes. Her scarf is red, her jacket tan, her shirt white, and her shorts are blue. The gauntlets are red and black.
Superhero Appearance: Mine and colors.
Meta type: N/A, she is using technology.(If that's not okay she does have a power but the original idea was a completely tech-based heroine).
Description of Powers: Alicia is excellent in hand-to-hand combat, taking regular martial arts lessons for most of her life, even before her powers awakened and she decided to become a superheroine. She is quite athletic, a good sprinter, and generally capable when it comes to physical activity. Alicia's main equipment is her Blast Knuckles, a pair of gauntlets designed and fabricated by her older sister, Kate Cruz, specifically for Alicia's Blast Girl persona. Held together by a series of microscopic projectors that emit an extremely powerful magnetic field, they can be activated and assembled on Alicia's hands at will. Manual assembly is possible but takes much more time. When assembling themselves they emit an intense glow. Kate built this trait in because it's more flashy and impressive. The circular portion of the gauntlets holds the cartridges, arranged in a ring of eight around each of Blast Girl's armored fists. Each time she punches, anywhere from two to eight of the cartridges(two by default, more if Blast Girl triggers them) are discharged. Each cartridge contains a hyperconcentrated form of specialized energy. This energy acts as a destructive blast, rocketing opponents back and increasing the power of Blast Girl's punches almost like the blast from an explosive shotgun. While the energy is capable of shattering solid walls and ripping through metal, living cells are more resistant to it, allowing Blast Girl to use the Blast Knuckles to non-lethally incapacitate living enemies. Kate Cruz manufactures the cartridges that act as ammunition for the Blast Knuckles, and Blast Girl carries as many as she can with her when she's going out to fight crime. In addition, she wears light armor on the vital areas of her chest, but is rather lacking in armor otherwise aside from on her boots. The Blast Knuckles and the armor on her chest are bullet proof, allowing her to protect herself from guns to a limited extent. The force from firing them can also be used to launch her into the air.
Background: Alicia was born the second daughter to the wealthy Cruz family. Her older sister, Kate, was one year her senior. As she grew older, she began to discover many important things about her older sister. Firstly, Kate was highly intelligent, beyond her age. Secondly, she was highly immature and childish. In addition, when Alicia was seven years old, Kate was diagnosed with a chronic illness that, while not normally fatal, impacted her immune system and health, necessitating that the girl was not unnecessarily exposed to outside elements and frequently took ill without taking medication. A combination of these factors made Alicia begin to see herself as the older sister, even though she was the younger of the two. As Alicia attended martial arts lessons, Kate spent time subtly using her families' vast funds to provide herself with a means to relieve boredom resulting from her frequent confinement. Alicia found out about this a few years later, and was initially angry with her older sister, and attempted to ground her... until Kate revealed that not only did she learn of the ability Alicia had discovered, but was also trying to find a way to assist her in fighting crime like the superheroes that got reported on the news all the time. Alicia decided to take this opportunity, on the condition that Kate didn't use so much money that it hurt their family. Which, given the Cruz family's vast wealth, was not an issue at all. At eighteen, Kate finally completely it with some assistance from the Cruz family science department. Blast Knuckle. Alicia donned the identity of Blast Girl, and has been fighting crime whenever she's got the chance ever since.
Personality: Alicia Cruz is an individual who displays a strong sense of justice. Even before her powers awakened, she was a girl who didn't tolerate innocent people getting hurt, or anyone causing trouble. She tried to handle all of this as best she could. She found even greater freedom with this as the costumed heroine Blast Girl, able to really fight real crime. Alicia is energetic and friendly to all those around her. Unless the people around her are bad guys, then they get punched in the face with energy blasts. She gets really fired up, especially when in the Blast Girl identity, dramatically declaring her intent to take down all evil without a single casualty, and declaring her superheroine name whenever she arrives on the scene. She condemns criminals for their crimes loudly and in an incredibly fiery manner as she beats them into unconsciousness to leave them for the police. Alicia is dedicated to never killing a criminal, always leaving them to the authorities. However, she has a bit of a tendency to charge into things without thinking them through. Alicia adores her older sister, but sometimes feels like, in spite of their ages, she's the "big sister" and Kate is the "little sister" in terms of their relationship.
Alicia is openly gay.
Origin Story: As Alicia attended martial arts lessons, Kate spent time subtly using her families' vast funds to provide herself with a means to relieve boredom resulting from her frequent confinement. Alicia found out about this a few years later, and was initially angry with her older sister, and attempted to ground her... until Kate revealed that not only did she learn of the ability Alicia had discovered, but was also trying to find a way to assist her in fighting crime like the superheroes that got reported on the news all the time. Okay, so, what were these limitations on alien characters? What I have planned is most easily described as a Digivolving Kamen Rider; perhaps a half-human crossbreed from a race of energy beings.

Real Name: Sharon "Sherry" Koshke
Superhero Name: Sherry Noble
Normal Appearance:

Minus the tiara and the fancy dress, that's about what she looks like.
Superhero Appearance: Sharon has yet to make a debut as a superhero, and doesn't really plan to at any rate. She fears her powers greatly and keeps them suppressed to make sure the people she cares for don't die and she doesn't hurt others.
Meta type: Overhuman
Description of Powers: Sharon has a set of powers all which stem from one ability, which is typically referred to as Radiation Manipulation. Due to some problem in her genes, she can manipulate radioactive decay and has several abilities that go along with that such as creating it from her body in a limited quantity, heat generation, energy manipulation, etc. Her body consistently gives off a radioactive aura and a slight electromagnetic one. This aura, and her powers, are bound to her emotions. What a shock. But, more often than not, she still cannot control them even when she's completely sound. This often results in her overloading people with radiation when in a stressful situation, and accidentally causing slight explosions when it goes too far. Her body is also comparable to a nuclear reactor. When she's attacked and dies either due to blunt trauma to the head, stabs in the head or heart, shots in the head or heart, and etc her body will explode violently, almost like a nuclear reactor. The resulting explosion could easily demolish two or three states, although Sherry is completely unaware of this fact.
Background: Sherry was a very sheltered and pampered girl, who grew up in the best conditions her father could afford for her which lead to her being kind of a brat when she was young. As she got older, this was sort of steamrolled out of her by power nannies that were bought to watch after her when her father was out of the home. (Which was quite often.) Along with that, Sherry was also often bothered and attacked by the other kids at her school which was full of brats that thought they could do whatever they wanted. One day, walking home, she was shoved into an alleyway and assaulted her by clipping off her hair using a pair of scissors and slapping her when she cried out. Luckily, they were stopped before they could get too far and Sherry was guided home with tears streaming down her face. Her father, angered by this, decided that rather than attempt to fight a futile battle with the law or the children's parents that he would simply hire a private tutor. This further sheltered Sharon, which caused her to become more and more paranoid of going outside. So, she spent most of her time inside after tutoring just sitting in her room sketching drawings. Even little joke drawings of her as a superhero.
Personality: Neurotic doesn't even begin to explain Sharon. To most people that only know her by seeing her, she seems like a regular girl, if not a bit eccentric. She has her odd habits, like biting her nails during tests and carrying around jars of honey and eating from them with a spook whenever she's hungry. But people that know Sherry know that she's not well. A combination of having way too many things happen to her in the past along with a mind that never really ceases to think of outcomes (good or bad), causes her to be intensely nervous at times for nearly no reason. She's jumpy, paranoid, and very quiet around others. Despite these issues, she is a sweet girl and will protect her friends and family to a fault, and is known to be very giving to those who she feels close enough to personally. Sharon's a bit touchy-feely in terms of personal space, but only with people that she's comfortable with. More often than not, she'll request piggy-back rides and other more ridiculous methods of transportation via unlucky/unwitting victim. Her good traits tend to outshine her bad, but it's hard to not notice the bad when it's there.
Origin Story: Sharon was out walking, having become somewhat more comfortable with going outside albeit not entirely. As she was walking along, in a rather quiet and empty area, she was suddenly grabbed from behind and shoved into a wall by some random man that she'd never encountered before. He, however, seemed to know her. Or at least, thought that he knew her. The man shouted aggressively, threatening to "beat her again" for something that she couldn't make out in her panic. She had her eyes clamped shut so as to avoid looking her fear in the face as she suddenly noticed that he was no longer on her. And when she opened her eyes? There he was on the ground, some odd green smoke stuff coming off of his body. It was then that Sherry noticed her hands glowing. Quickly, she ran, back home with fear flowing through her veins aggressively. She began typing with her non-freakish hand onto her computer to find out something about what she'd become, and what it meant for her future.

OK, so to answer some questions.

@VitaVitaAR, I think the Jack O'Lantern is fine if you explain it as something the witch made herself, and imbued with a magical 'program'. This program then eventually develops sentience because magic.

As for Cthulhu-type beings, the Preceptors occupy that position in this universe. On their home planet, the preceptors are simply one single psychic entity without a body, without separation, without individuality, and prefer it that way. however, to communicate with other species, they, or rather, 'it', has to send out 'globs' of consciousness. Those globs separate and coalesce into individual entities. It is these individuals who are the actual preceptors that the rest of the galaxy are familiar with. These globs use their psychic energy to create a 'dummy body' in a shape familiar to whatever species they happen to be interacting with in order to be non-threatening. These bodies are meaningless to the preceptors. Three have been assigned to Earth, Mayura the Violet, Annatar the Red, and Saybrook the Green. They have the vague shapes of a peacock, rabbit, and snake. Their bodies are pure white and extremely fluid, when they move, it is like flowing cream. Their eyes are like crystal beads of their respective colors, and in their forehead is embedded a transparent shape of that color, a Sphere, an Octahedron, and a Torus, respectively. Right now, they are simply observing Humanity's growth, but their goal is to help Humanity evolve, but they will attempt to do it in a way that doesn't draw attention to themselves. They are under very strict guidelines and are looking for loopholes to exploit. They don't always agree with each other, are extremely arrogant, and have 'Final Forms'. Their philosophies involve the dichotomy of Love (attractive force) and Terror (repulsive force). Love is the force that brings all things together, seeking to become one, while terror is that which divides, creating individuality. They scoff at other species' desire to remain imprisoned in their own terror and maintain individuality, they even hate the fact that they themselves are forced to be individuals while on their mission to Earth. For the time being, they are not using their powers except for communication and travel.

I don't know much about the starfish summons, so I'd need more information to be able to determine how compatible they'd be with the Preceptors. If I allow the starfish summons, then I would probably make them affiliated with Saybrook as 'he' has been on Earth the longest and is very much insane because preceptors are so used to Absolute Love, Unity and Oneness that being an individual is such a dreadfully silent and lonely isolation that it can send them over the edge. Mayura and Annatar cope better.

@Dead Cruiser, as for a 'digivolving Kamen Rider', I think the power is totally fine. The main limitation with aliens is a political one. The Jarav have to let the Preceptors on Earth because of the treaty, but for any other alien species, the Jarav will filter. Aliens are not allowed to give information or share technology, they have to let humans learn and grow naturally. The alien is allowed entry if they are 'here to help', which usually just means that they're allowed to be superheroes. So the Jarav won't let aliens who have no business being on Earth on Earth. So your character's alien parent is either a superhero (or was a superhero), or someone who doesn't care about the Jarav blockade and is living (or has lived) on Earth illegally. Also, most aliens don't care about Earth and the preceptors are incapable of mating. So explain your alien parent to me and we'll see.

So an edit I need to make to the opening post which I'll state here so you don't have to go back and reread the whole thing, The Age of Superheroes began at First Contact, which happened in the year 2020 CE, the current time in the RP is 30 years later, 2050 CE. Technically, metahumans have always existed, but always in secrecy, though they existed openly in the age of mythology.

Well, basically the starfish are "Horrors" who exist as individual mindlessly violent monsters. Which would easily stem from insanity, really.

If they successfully kill something, which is why Charlotte avoids using them, they begin to merge into one entity that she can't control. It's why she doesn't use them except as a last resort.

@VitaVitaAR concerning Blast Girl, I've pretty much accepted the character, though I might want to ask you to change a tiny thing. Can the explanation for the cartridges be so that they contain some sort of vibrational energy? Because not harming living cells ssems a little 'too intelligent' for something that is just a force. I think 'vibration' works because vibrations tend to do more damage to harder surfaces, and significantly less damage to materials with fluid properties, including flesh. Just a suggestion, but otherwise, consider Blast Girl accepted. As for meta-type, I forgot to come up with a designation for people who use tools. So I'm going to need to create subcategories. If you're tools are science based, the you are Human - Neotool user. If you use magical tools, then you are Human - Paratool user. Overtools don't exist (at least I hope not...eww), even if they did, they would be Neotools at that point. Alien technology is Neotool if the aliens are scientific aliens, paratools if the aliens are magical aliens.

As for the starfish, I think it might be pretty hard to work in. The preceptors are loathe to separate into smaller bits so will not 'create' anything from themselves. Their 'psychic mass' is finite, even their 'bodies' are sort of just tangible projections and cost little to no psychic mass to maintain, that are, at any rate ,still connected to the main 'mass' and not really separate. Creating or spawning an aggressive starfish creature (or multiple such creatures) with the ability to merge with its victims and eventually gain a will of its own would require an amount of psychic mass no Preceptor would be willing to part with. Also, even though Saybrook has lost it, Annatar keeps him on a pretty tight leash.

It might be better if I just left the preceptors out of it, so if Charlotte or her villain was the one responsible for creating these starfish, it might be more feasible.

EDIT: Also to everyone else, don't worry if all this talk about preceptors is confusing, they won't even really matter until much later in the RP.

Alignment: Hero
Real Name: Robert Cooper
Superhero Name: The Inquisitor
Normal Appearance:

Superhero Appearance: Robert wears a darkly coloured uniform under his exoskeleton akin to that of the US militaries advanced combat uniform. His exoskeleton is a dark black and consists of metal armour over his chest, arms, spine and legs. Underneath both the exoskeleton and the uniform is a light bulletproof vest. Robert also wears a completely unnoticable mask. The mask blends with his skin and accurately recreates his face while still providing protection.
Meta type: Human
Description of Powers: Robert is considered to be the worlds smartest man. His power revolves around the technology he invents and uses while acting as The Inquisitor. The main and sort of signature piece of technology being the numerous floating spheres that Robert uses. These spheres can be used in many ways including but not limited to:
-Recording information
-Acting as a weapon
-Hacking into electronic devices.
Seperate from this is Robert's mask. The mask not only acts as a means of hiding his identity but also adapts to the situation is put in. For example, if Robert was underwater it would adapt in order to allow him to breathe. Along with this is Robert's exoskeleton. It allows him to lift the weight of an average sized car up to about his waist and increases his speed to that of olympic standards.

My idea is for something like a less malevolent version of the C'Tan from Warhammer. Imagine a race of energy beings that live inside of and feed on stars. Perhaps due to their parasitic nature, they stay under the radar in regards to the Canon, and as such are unknown to the Jarav.

From here on my ideas are a little hazy, and I could use some help ironing them out. Perhaps with the arrival of the Jarav, the Star Vampire saw its secrecy within Sol as jeopardized, and fled to hide within a human form. Potentially, it has been literally inside of humans for generations, resulting in a long line of metahumans with its power within them. Thoughts, or better ideas?

Hmm, well, I could change that but I'd think making it just vibrations would kind of get rid of the "blast" part of "Blast Girl".

I was kind of running off of non-real-world logic when I came up with a new form of explosive nonlethal energy for her the first time, um.

And I suppose I can cut the Horrors then, I'm a little sad since it drops one of Charlotte's villains but she has a lot of others.

So your hero would, like Superman, be solar-powered? I think that would be fine. What other powers would this lineage give? For some more galactic backstory, each arm of the Milky Way Galaxy has been assigned a caretaker species by the Canon. The Jarav have been caretakers of the Sagitarrius arm for a few thousands of years, their creators were the caretakers before that. Does your alien only inhabit the stars of non-canonized species in order to avoid detection, and move on once the Jarav presence becomes more focused? And for some reason, instead of fleeing to another star, this particular one chose to remain on Earth. Would it have possessed a human, living as a symbiote, and transferring itself to its child/children if/when the parent died, or did it manifest a human body and live life as a human, mating and giving its powers to its child/children? Since it's only been 30 years since the Jarav made themselves known, and thus become fully invested in Earth, your alien lineage might only be two generations long (alien parent and half-alien child).

I can think of potential reactions the Canon might have should they ever discover that a parasitic, solar energy devouring species was ever discovered. If the amount of energy drained is insignificant with respect to the total energy output (AKA lifespan) of the star, the Canon may choose to classify it as a non-threat. If it is significant, well, we might have another galactic purge on our hands. For the greater good, and all that.

I wouldn't worry about the whole vibrations thing, but maybe there would be other materials resistant to her blast, for example, gel-like substances, so a villain for Blast Girl may be someone who uses a lot of gels, and sets up 'sticky' situations. So like a weakness. Anyways, consider Blast Girl accepted, you can put her in the Characters tab.

Sorry about the starfish. Maybe instead of them being tied to space-alien demonic beings, that they are associated to some purely magical, mythological or religious demonic being? For example, let's say the starfish are a form of 'hellspawn'. The witch who summoned them would claim that she performed a ritual, and Satan himself granted these minions to her. While no one can disprove that these starfish came from Satan, the witch herself also cannot definitively prove that these starfish came from Satan, or even from Hell for that matter because she claims Satan always 'refuses' to show himself. Basically, the way magic works is we sort of just have to take the magic-user's word for it because magic in this world has a weird way of not letting itself be proven or disproven.
