Since the days Robin first appeared, teenaged heroes have gathered together in order to become better heroes. Side by side they learn and grow, training to take on evil. United, they are more than just sidekicks, they are the next generation of the world's heroes.

They are the...

~DIVIDED WE FALL~

Alcatraz.

Perhaps one of the most notorious prisons in all of history. Said to be inescapable but that has hardly held true into the modern era. What was once the the premiere institutuion holding the likes of Al Capone, eventually became a tourist attraction, nothing more than a simple exhibit. Yet the doors to Alcatraz were once again opened upon its conversion into an institute to house those known as 'supervillains'. Perhaps then it should come at no surprise that the authorities and even the island guards turn a blind eye to the activities within the prison.

A convicted Russian hitman, Matvei Rodor had made a lot of enemies over his life which lead him to where he was now. Dragged from his cell by rivals of the family who hired him, Matvei stared down at the waters below as they crashed against the rocky cliffs. The crude blade at his neck was a constant reminded that his life was no longer his own.

"You killed my daughter, you raped my wife." One man spat before delivering a swift kick to Matvei's ribs.

"You made my son eat his own fingers as your tortured him. You killed his mother before his eyes and doused him in her blood." The only man said, the knife pressing hard on Matvei's neck as a drop of blood rolled down the man's sweat laden skin.

"It was just a job..." Matvei managed to say, the knife taking skin with each word he muttered as his throat vibrated against the sharp blade. "It wasn't personal."

"It became personal the minute you killed our families." The second man growled, the knife sliding along Matvei's neck in one swift movement as the blood spilled forth. With a swift kick, the first man sent the body toppling over the edge into the waters below.

"Rot in hell."

Pacing the Titan's War Room, Rose Wilson looked out over the court yard below the tower. A garden filled with all manner of plants, both native to Earth and alien courtesy of the garden's original caretaker. A small stream flowed through it giving off a gentle serenity which is contagious to all around it. Many Titans had spent numerous hours in the garden below contemplating whatever problems weighed down on their minds. But today, was no time for serenity, today was time for the Titans to show Rose that their training had paid off, that the team could in fact work together.

The alien bounty hunter known as Lobo had been sighted entering San Francisco air space and it would only be a matter of time before he started causing trouble. Tracking his trajectory, Rose opened the communications channel to all the Titans.

"Titans, suit up and meet me in the hanger. We've got a bogey and he's a strong one so I hope you all ate your wheaties this morning." Rose ordered as she herself headed towards the T-Wing.

Morning.

He hated mornings. Disorientated by the lack of the ocean breeze and the smell of metal and concrete it took Evander a few moments to once again remind himself he was in the Titans' Tower. It seemed like only yesterday he had traded the tropical island of Themyscria for the polluted land of men. At least the Tower was alongside the ocean, that negated some of the stench of man's machinations and factories. Sliding out from under the single sheet on his bed, Evander smirked as he saw he had once again thrown the comforter into the corner of the room in his slumber. Stretching, Evan slicked his hair back as he scratched at his head before exiting the room, not realizing he had once again forgotten to put clothes on before wandering the tower.

After a stop at the bathroom, the naked demigod made his way to the kitchen, a great hunger rumbling in his stomach as he opened the fridge. Searching inside, he eventually stumbled upon a pomegranate he had placed there and happily cracked it open. Casually walking towards the balcony, Evan walked through the automatic doors as he leaned over the railing and stared over the water as the sun rose from behind the tower.

During his time with the Amazons, Evander had come to appreciate all forms of beauty and the light of a new day on the crystal surface of the Pacific definitely qualified in his books. At least with his fruit and the view, it was almost like being home again.

It wasn't long ago that there was a chandelier hanging in Eric's room. When it came crashing down, Eric wanted to kill whoever'd done it, sure that their statue would be out front before too long had passed. However, it had been his own doing. For a while he'd wrapped his talons around the arms of the chandelier before wrapping himself in the leather blanket that was his own arms, hanging on it to get a good night's rest. It was as refreshing as any he'd ever had, but it didn't last. His immense weight had weakened it slowly but steadily, then it all came crashing down. Somewhere roughly around two hours ago, he was sure at least some of his companions had heard it.

He had no other choice but to lay down in his bed, but sleep never came. Nope.

So he got up, slipped on a white T-shirt and some jeans, then he left his room. He slipped the door shut and, ever so slowly, released the snapping knob of his door. With a chirp he illuminated the hallway and tower's spaces to his ears. The soundwaves that bathed him afterward informed him that the he had no company. So he nigh silently crept to the kitchen, fixing himself a bowl of Count Chocula before sitting down at the table and realizing he was not alone.

With his eyes, he searched around, focusing his attention on the balcony before catching sight of Evan's ass! He shoved his face into his palm before he heard the command issued by Rose Wilson, his own communicator was off, but he didn't need it to hear her.

"Good morning, sunshine," he stood up before dumping what milk remained down his throat. "The boss wants us.. we'll see if she 'wants' you like that, though." He shoved his chair under the table before dropping the bowl into the sink and walking his direction, keeping his eyes shut. "Off to the hanger we go, Wonder Boy."

Morning was here, and as always Rufus dreaded it. He was rarely a man who longed for something he didn't have, but it was during the early hours of the morning he really wished he could travel in time to get more time to sleep in. On the fourth very agressive beep of his alarm clock his eyes shot open, a red spark inside of his iris playing along his optic nerve and in the next instant his hand had hit the alarm stopping it's dreadful screeching from hitting his tired ears.

Contemplating going back to bed, Rufus sat up and rubbed his eyes. He yawned and stood up. Stretching as he found his way around the room, finding his tank top and cargo shorts. He put on his clothes and headed into the next part of his room, where a sandbag hung over a treadmill. Getting on the treadmill he began running at normal speed, punching the bag in front of him. With each hit he could feel the world around him getting slower as he himself was generating power. Soon the treadmill would give off a beep, indicating that he had generated sufficient energy for his powers to function at acceptable levels. In a beige blur he was out of his room. Leaving behind him his workout clothes and instead wearing his suit.

He appeared in the kitchen, seeing Microbat and Wonderboy. Performing what he could only assume was actions of homoerotic nature. 'To each his own' Rufus mentioned at the two, opening the fridge and getting out a bottle of sports drink and a banana. He would calmly walk towards the hangar to meet Ravager. Lobo, huh? That could be interesting Rufus thought, looking forward to meeting one of the men who had gone toe to toe with the man of steel.

It was morning, and Luke Nelson yawned as he sat up in his bed. As far as sleeps go, last night’s was pretty good. Unlike most nights, the Guilt didn’t come, and he was thankful for it. It had left him alone to dream about more pleasant things, like food, and boys, and getting promoted to Justice League status. All things considered, it was one of the best nights he’d had, and he was glad that the morning seemed to match his mood: calm and relaxed.

Hopping out of the bed, he got changed into his suit, a thing of beautiful craftsmanship designed by Lucius Fox, and quite possibly his most prized possession. Fitting it onto his lean form, Luke checked his belt, making sure that he had a sizeable supply of sand in his pouch. Satisfied that he did, he grabbed his helmet and exited his room, walking out into the large expanse of the Titans’ Tower. It was a major improvement over all of his homes in Gotham. It wasn’t run-down, for one, and he didn’t have to escape when the police came to arrest him for squatting. It was also modern and sleek. Everything looked new, and the very architecture promoted a lavish lifestyle. It was as if he was living in a five-star hotel; one that condoned the training and deployment of teenage superheroes. As far as Luke was concerned, there was nothing wrong with that.

“Titans, suit up. We’ve got a bogey and he’s a strong one so I hope you all ate your wheaties this morning.” Rose Wilson’s voice boomed through the tower, and upon hearing her message, Luke hurried to the kitchen and crammed a quick snack into his mouth, paying no mind to Eric, or Evan’s nudity. So much for a relaxed morning. Still chewing, he exited the room, making his way to the hangar. There was nothing like a little morning scuffle.

That dream again. Not once after that had happened was Rhea spared of such a nightmare that waltzed endlessly in her mind every time her eyes would doze off. Years had passed since Dane had died in her arms but it still seemed that his ghost was hovering above her, preventing her heart from ever letting go of the failure that was her ability. She had already met a lot of people since then and her speaking skills had already improved greatly. Teen Titans, as they were called. It was a fitting name yet one so strangely contradicting. Teens could never be titans and titans could never teens. However, as she sat there on one side of the table, spoon in hand and a bowl of Super Oats in front of her, the word 'teen' became all too much obvious. Rhea wasn't sure whether she had a secret ability to be able to hide her presence for almost everyone ignored her-- not that she was affected by it. In fact, it allowed her to observe her allies as they became candid as much as they could. With the demigod, Amazon, naked in the open, Rhea couldn't help but stifle a chuckle. She had already created an analysis that, for someone who had fantastic strength, he had a small package to counter his good points. Well, Newton's third law as they would say. However, her attention was snapped back to the anthropomorphic bat ally sitting across her. Microbat was certainly an odd one. Well, his anatomy was somewhat complicated but, nonetheless, interesting. Her eyes trailed down his head until his torso, taking notes as to how his... hair and wings were so significant to his body. Well, she had mainly arrived at the kitchen a few minutes after Microbat but it took no genius to know that the crashing sound she heard some few hours ago was because of him. He not only looked like a bat but he acted like one as well. Interesting, did appearances influence behaviour or did behaviour influence appearances? Who knows?

Rhea stood up and exited the kitchen, knowing that she had left something in her room. Well, she did fetch it but when she returned, another person was present. It was Accelerate. Seriously, the boys were the only ones awake? Where were the girls? Well, aside from her though. Out of the three men inside the room, Accelerate was the only one who looked... decent, should she say. Well, his suit was awkward and made him look like a tulip but, hey, she was in no position to judge. Then, *crash*... Another, ughh, boy appeared. Okay, the girls should have a goal to beat boys in attendance next time. Thankfully, Sandstorm was in no mood to chat as evidenced when he bolted almost instantly before Rhea was even able to swallow the oats down her throat.

"Ye boys dun really act normal, do ye?" Rhea, finally, broke her silence. So, in attendance: Mini Package, Batty, Tulip and Sandy. Interesting. Well, it was too late to comment, anyway. Tulip and Sandy had already left the kitchen which meant little to her. The mission was already given, apparently. The only girl to ever wake up earlier than Rhea today was their leader, Rose. No surprise there, though. After finishing her meal, Rhea cleaned her bowl alongside the other dishes and pulled the hood over her head. "I be headin' fer the plane house now. Regardin' to Batty's question, Rose wud not be wantin' to see him with dat itsy-bitsy package." Rhea tilted her head as she slowly strode towards the hangar. "But, hey, it be nice to be seein' ya'll."

A lazy sun rises slowly over the San Francisco bay, coloring the sky the red of bad blood. I watch it from the Tower gardens, surrounded by alien flowers so bizarre and otherworldly in their beauty that I feel I could spend all day studying them, which is really something because I am not a 'flowers' type of gal. I get through two smokes, just me and the sunrise, before the rest of the team start to rouse themselves, though I keep myself from introducing myself, preferring to isolate myself in the paradise we have on our doorstep.

I almost got spotted by the Demi-God as he strolled upon the balcony above me, though managed to dart further into the bushes without drawing his attention. I needn't have bothered, seems he only had eyes for the ocean, and probably wouldn't have spared me a second glance. 'Fraid I struggle to show him the same courtesy, my treacherous gaze returning to his perfect naked form again and again, despite all my silent cursing. I don't know what it is about him, but I just can't stop myself from looking. Sure, he looks like Michelangelo's david came to life, but it's hardly the first time I've seen a six pack. Or, for that matter, a dick. And yet I just can't stop looking. Stupid girl. Angrily I light up a third ciggie, hoping the nicotine will help to get better control of myself. It doesn't.

My silent fuming is interrupted by our fearless leader, Rose Wilson, summoning us to the hanger. Seems we're getting to tussle with a big one this morning. Oh goody, a chance for us all to get killed. I make my way to the T-Wing, sparing the time to grab my body armour and handguns. Can't leave home without them.

Rose and a few of the other kids are waiting when I arrive. I stand back from the group, waiting for directions. Why back from them? Well I ain't here to make friends. I'm here to do a job, save some lives, prove myself worthy of praise. I start giving the eye to anyone who looks my way, just so they understand the message. Everyone except Wonder Boy, of course.

I don't trust myself to look at him without blushing.

Morning had finally come and Zane had gotten out of bed and stretched. He had slept good last night and now he hoped for a good day. Zane went over to his closet and set out his suit for the day, the white gloves and dress shirt, his black bow-tie, tuxedo blazer, vest, and slacks, grey socks and black dress shoes that were shined to perfection. Although he could do all of this with magic, the process of actually doing things himself felt better. Once he was dressed he herd the call over the intercom,"Titans, suit up and meet me in the hanger. We've got a bogey and he's a strong one so I hope you all ate your wheaties this morning." Roses's voice sounded throughout the tower. Zane found his favorite deck of cards, and headed out of the room.

He wanted to eat some Cinnamon Toast Crunch before the day started, but now he would have to settle for a banana. "Ananab." The simple spell made a ripe yellow banana appear in his hand while he hurried to the hangar. Zane began to wonder who the target was, excitement crept through is body, he was ready for this.

"Well let the games begin." He said with a smile as he headed to the hangar.

While the others were just getting up JC was on the roof of their Tower finishing up his morning training. He didn't sleep much and if he were to be honest, he really didn't need to. He wouldn't call himself an insomniac. He was like that weird looking rapper, Kevin Gates. He didn't get tired. If he did sleep it wasn't for so long since his body would automatically wake him up soon enough. He figured it was time for him to take a shower and get dressed so he could get prepared for the day.

JC headed down to his room to pick out his clothes for the day and headed into the shower. While he was in the shower he heard Rose speak through his communicator. He finished up, dried himself off, and just put on his hero outfit instead of putting it under his normal clothes. He then tossed the civilian clothes into his room before heading to the kitchen first. He wasn't going to go fighting on an empty stomach. That'd prove more dangerous than anything. When he arrived he saw some of the others heading out of the kitchen and towards the hangar. He didn't speak to them and walked straight to the freezer to get a pint of ice cream.

Once he got a spoon he took a spoonful of the ice cream and put it in his mouth. It started to melt instantly. He kind of liked his ice cream warm. It was weird, but whatever. He turned to see the naked Amazon and said, "It must be cold in here." Without another word he headed towards the hangar while eating his ice cream on the way.

The hardest thing about being a Kryptonian now for Isaac is his lack of needs. He doesn't need to sleep. He doesn't need to eat. He doesn't need food or water. All he needs is some sun, and he's as good as new. That's the reason he spends most of his mornings on the roof of Titan's tower, looking out over the beautiful ocean water. Watching the sun rise, and the way the light reflects off the surface of the ocean and sparkles like a diamond makes up for his inability to sleep. But Isaac isn't up here just to gawk over the earth and it's natural beauty. No, the roof top was the best place for him to work out. While the tower had a perfectly functioning gym with the highest quality equipment in the city, it lacked much natural lighting; Isaac found that working out under the sun helped him keep his energy up. Right now, Mister Grant was honing his hand to hand combat skills. They weren't exactly impressive, and all this self-training felt like a waste without any sort of foundation to build off of.

He could always ask one of the other Titans to help. None of them were the next Robin, but a few of them knew how to hold their own.

"No." Sentinel growled at himself as his fist collided with steel. A normal sandbag wouldn't exactly stand up to a Kryptonian's blows, so Sentinel borrowed one of Superman's training dummies. It was a four foot by two foot box made of some alien metal. When dented, the metal would regenerate itself within seconds. The metal itself was pretty durable too. But of course, nothing is perfect. Even this alien material had its breaking point, and Sentinel still had to hold himself back. "Everything is too damn fragile!" Sentinel yelled as he punched a massive hole in the box. The chains that held it to the roof snapped as it went flying off into the ocean.

Isaac dragged another metal box over to the chains and attached it to the roof. "I'll get it later." He muttered. He'd said the same thing about the other twenty siting on the ocean floor right now. Sentinel started to pound on the dummy, with little regard for style or skill. Metal screeched and grinds as fist impacts dummy. There's not a person in this tower who would last more than a minute in a spar against him. Why weren't his teammates tougher? Why can't they pull their own weight?! If only they were stronger, they could help him. Isaac stopped hitting the target for a moment, letting the metal regenerate its dents and tears. "It's not their fault. They were born that way. They are flesh and bone. Blood and guts...And flesh bleeds!" Sentinel whipped around and slammed his fist into the dummy. The chains groaned under the attack. "Bone breaks!" Isaac kicked the dummy, and the chains snapped again. The metal box went flying after its brothers, soon joining them in the water. "Why can't you be stronger!" Sentinel yelled as he grabbed another box and tossed it onto the roof. His eyes glowed crimson as he melted the dummy faster than it could regenerate.

He turned around again, grabbing another dummy and wailing on it. "It was just water! Why couldn't you get out in time?! Why didn't you wait for the rain to stop?" Another mutilated dummy found itself in the water, and another took its place. "You turned dad into a monster. H- He wasn't strong enough...Not without you." Sentinel stopped and looked at his hands. "It's all my fault." Water fell into Isaac's open palms, and he was confused for a moment. Was it raining? Why did his eyes sting?

Why was he so weak?

"Titans, suit up and meet me in the hanger. We've got a bogey and he's a strong one so I hope you all ate your wheaties this morning."

Rose?

Isaac turned around and wiped his eyes. Where was she? He didn't see her. Oh, wait. The communicator. Sentinel looked at the little round, yellow device on his belt for a moment.

Strong, huh?

Good.

Sentinel needed someone strong in his life.

Isaac leaped off the side of the tower and landed with a massive thud on the ground. He turned and walked inside the front door, glancing around the lobby before heading off toward the hangar to meet the rest of the titans. Just another Monday.

Blaring alarms shook Ari awake. "I'm up!" she shouted, throwing off her blanket as she shot up from her bed. Expecting a stern-faced Rose Wilson to be scowling down at her, she was relieved to find herself alone in her room. She rubbed her bloodshot eyes, last night was not a good one for her sleep. She motioned towards the sink on the other side of the room and water shot out and clumsily hit her in the face, effectively waking her. She tossed on jean shorts, flip-flops, and a black graphic T-shirt that depicted a Barbie doll with an arrow through its head on the front side. Ari then freshened up quickly before heading out to meet the rest of her fellow Titans in the tower.

As she made her way through the halls she felt a vibration in her pocket. Ari quickly pulled out the Titans communicator and fumbled with the small device in her hands before Rose commanded in that always intimidating voice: "Titans, suit up and meet me in the hanger. We've got a bogey and he's a strong one so I hope you all ate your wheaties this morning." She looked down at her attire; her "suiting up" was different than what it meant to her teammates. She didn't have a costume or armor, or at least not all the time. The water would provide any sort of armor when it was necessary.

Ari had to stop at the kitchen to grab a bite before proceeding to the hangar, and what she saw there was unpleasant yet pleasant. Most of her teammates were either there or leaving, including the naked yet gorgeous Wonder Boy. She stared for a few moments before shaking out of the trance. A quick check of her teammates' eyes made sure no one caught her in the act. "Rose is very particular with her words, and I believe when she said 'suit up' she was implying to at least be wearing something," Ari pretended to sound indifferent and avoided looking in Evan's direction, scouring through the refrigerator for something healthy. Hopefully they wouldn't be able to see that her face was displaying very different emotions than her words.

The smell of nicotine drew Evander's attention from the crystal blue surface as he turned to locate the source. A trail of smoke led directly to the culprit as Evan caught Simone giving his body a thorough look over as her eyes slowly traced him from top to body. Returning the admiring look, Evan washed his own eyes over Simone's body. Her hair was naturally brunette, lightened with blonde high lights and her body, like most of the Titans was lean and toned. A rather desirable physique that could no doubt keep up with him if she wanted to. With a smug smirk, he tossed a wink her way before turning at the sound of the main intercom. Hanging out for the whole world to see, Evan chuckled as Eric raised his wing to cover his face from the sight.

"Good morning, sunshine," Eric called as he stood up. "The boss wants us.. we'll see if she 'wants' you like that, though." He shoved his chair under the table before dropping a bowl into the sink and walking towards Evan's direction all the while keeping his eyes shut. "Off to the hanger we go, Wonder Boy."

"Rose should be so lucky." Evan replied absently as Rufus entered the room, rolling his eyes at Eric trying to lead Evan towards the hanger. Evan often found himself amused by the speedster's serious demeanor, it was as if Rufus lived to be a buzzkill to everyone else who wished to enjoy their youth. As if on cue, each of the other Titans began to enter the room, grabbing a quick breakfast before turning heel and heading towards the hangar. Despite everyone having been together for at least a week now, it was quite apparent that not everyone was used to the demigod's abandon for clothes. Somehowever seemed to find some amusement in it as Rhea was more than happy to chatter away about the size of Evan's equipment as 'JC' also decided to chime in. Evan had little interaction and with either and often struggled with understanding Rhea at times due to her broken speech. In fact were her accent a bit more distinct, Evander would have almost confused her for speaking Cockney. JC on the other hand probably should have refrained from his comment, to Evan the other teen looked like a washed up Two-Face fan body. With his bizarre two toned hair, Evan had to admit he hoped to Aphrodite the boy had been gifted in the downstairs department.

"Hmm" Evan said with mock confusion looking towards the peanut gallery. "Oh I must have been being modest for the other boys." He added with a smile as he momentarily increased his size as he walked past Rhea before shifting it back down to a more reasonable proportion. "Son of Aphrodite, I've got a key for every lock." He said as he turned to give Rhea a salute before turning towards Zane with a raised eyebrow as the other boy began to eat a banana in front of the naked teen. A Zatara and like the rest of his famous family, Zane was a practitioner of magic. Though Evan had no ideas the extent of Zane's abilities nor how divinity and magic even reacted to one another.

"Ballsy move, teasing a guy like that." Evan said with a nod towards Zane before turning as Ariel made a remark to him about the clothes. Looking towards the shapely brunette, Evan couldn't help but wish he could talk her into a traditional Amazonian sparring match. The girl was no doubt attractive and with the ability to manipulate water to boot. He had to wonder if her abilities were connected to Poseiden in anyway as he walked past remarking to her comment with a dismissive shrug. "I'm wearing my birthday suit, you tell me if you see any flaws with it." He added hoping to elicit a blush from the pretty girl.

Walking to the hanger, Evan found himself filled with a lack of surprise that Sentinel was the first among the Titans to join Rose. In the corner, Simone had casually snuck in and was giving everyone a look down before averting her gaze from Evan. Raising an amused eyebrow, Evan turned his attention back to Sentinel as he wrapped an arm around the Kryptonian.

"Good morning Kid Krypto, how about a little one on one, you and me later." He asked before quickly releasing the volatile bruiser. No doubt Rufus was rolling his eyes behind him at what he'd consider juvenile antics. For some reason Evan couldn't resist riling up Sentinel, especially since the Kryptonian made it so easy to do. Outside of that, the two had very little interaction and as far as Evan knew, Sentinel had very little interaction with anyone on the team preferring to plow his fists through training dummy after training dummy.

"EVAN!" Rose's voice boomed out across the hanger as Evan turned to face her, looking as innocent as he possibly could.

"Yes boss?" Evan replied nonchalantly.

"Damnit boy you already induce lust in everyone you're around, the least you could do is put that thing away before someone either jumps on it. I'd threaten to cut it off but frankly I'm afraid you'd come back with a bigger one, or worse two." Rose said rubbing her temple in frustration.

"I'm not a hy..." Evan began to interject before Rose angrily cut him off.

"Zane can you get some clothes on this one. Preferable magic up his work attire, the rest of you get on the T-Wing, we'll debrief in the air."

As Evan's clothes were teleported onto him much to his disdain, Rose climbed into the pilot's seat of the former Tamaranian craft and engaged the customized VTOL engines. Testing the weight of his shield on his arm, Evander pulled at the crotch of his pants as he adjusted his outfit for comfort, straightening his bracers and pulling the zipper on his sleeveless hoodie down just to the mid of his pectorals. Ruffling his hair up Evan was the last to climb aboard the T-Wing as he searched for a seat. It looked like the two loners, Sentinel and Simone both had an empty seat beside them while everyone else had squeezed in together on the two opposing benches. Scanning around for Ariel once more, Evan relented to sitting beside Simone upon seeing Ariel was in fact seated between two of their other teammates. Feeling the craft jerk forward, Evan's hands dung into the seat, metal and leather bending in his firm grip as the T-Wing left the tower behind. He hated mechanical flight, not being one for machines in general he wasn't a fan of leaving his life in the hands of one either. If Rose would allow it, Evan would have much rather rode into battle on Bellaphron.

From the cockpit, Rose engaged the auto pilot as she turned to face the team. A holographic display appearing between her and the ten Titans that displayed a blue skinned alien. His red eyes seemed to stare back at the team as though the image was actually sentient.

"Team this is Lobo, an intergalactic bounty hunter. Watchtower sense spotted Lobo entering Earth's atmosphere an hour ago and traced his trajectory to San Francisco making him our problem for the time being. It's likely he's after someone, but we don't really know who. All we know is every time Lobo comes to town, innocent lives are put at risk and we need to ensure he doesn't kill anymore." Turning back to the controls, Rose over turned the autopilot and revved the engines.

"Updated trajectory puts him in Chinatown. We'll be there in five mintues." She said as Evan turned his attention towards Simone.

"So, you 'hang out' on the balcony every morning?" He asked with a smile.

The unmistakble rumbling of Lobo's Spacehog echoed through the streets of Chinatown as the Main Man descended upon a restaurant named the Golden Dragon. Jumping from his back, the Czarian pulled what could only be described as the equivalent of a shotgun from the back of his belt as he kicked the doors of the restaurant open.

"Alright you little snot colour punks, get out of your flesh suits and come out with your hands up. Especially you Hob, quick like, the Main Man don't like to be kept waiting!" He yelled as patrons screamed and ducked under the table while one of the waiters turned towards the bounty hunter. His arm shooting forth as it exploded into a cannon and fired at the big blue bruiser.

"The Main Man gets to have some fun now. Alright you bastiches! You asked for it!" He yelled firing off his gun as the waiter was thrown across the room, his legs tore clean off in a shower of sparks as the Krolotean inside ejected among more screams from the humors stuck under the tables. Suddenly Lobo was struck with a large blast of energy as a Krolotean with a robotic arm emerged from the kitchen of the restaurant. A suit of mechanical armor began to form around him as the barely four foot tall alien was brought up to the a height of six feet.

"Cheap shot Hob, the Main Man don't like being sucker punched." Lobo growled standing up as the alien produced a large gatling gun from beneath the counter.

"HOW ABOUT PERFORATED!" Hob retorted as the sound of the T-Wing decending outside grab both alien's attention.

"Titans Together!" Rose yelled to the team as the autopilot brought the ship down. "Amazon, Pistolera, Thermo and Whirlpool get the one in the mech suit." Rose ordered before turning towards the others. "Sentinal, Accelerate, Microbat and Sandstorm get Lobo. Magi and Cell provide support to both groups, help where you can and get hits in when you can." Rose added pulling her mask down and unsheashing the hilts of her swords as their blades ignited in a beam of hardened light.

Nodding at his orders, Amazon gave a smug shrug to Pistolera as he leaped into action raising his shield to block Hob's shots from the rest of Alpha team.

"So anyone else really want Chinese right now?"

FacePunch Death Comes

"Keep your hands off me, Pretty Boy, or I'm going to rip your arms off and beat you to death with 'em." Isaac threatened in a guttural voice. The only reason Sentinel hadn't snapped that idiot's neck was because of the pheromones he secreted thanks to the genes he received from his mother. "Go back to masturbating to your own reflection." Who did that guy think he was, anyway? Like he could spar with a Kryptonian and live to tell the tale. Unless he was talking in innuendos again, like the little phallic-obsessed freak he is. Stupid pheromones. Sentinel isn't even gay. At least he'd be fighting soon and he could get his mind off his earlier incident. Sentinel turned as he heard Evan's name called by Miss Wilson. Their fearless leader chided Wonder Boy for his lack of clothing and decency. The last week seemed to have itself on repeat, with the same conversations seeming to happen over and over. Most of those conversations didn't involve Sentinel; not that being ignored bothered Isaac. He hated people. He hated talking. He hated the world. There were very few things in the world that Isaac Grant didn't despise.

One of those things was flying.

When the team entered the T-Wing, Sentinel made sure to find a seat next to a window, where he'd be alone. Alone with the blue sky and the clouds. He looked out the window and watched as they began to rise into the air. The T-Wing flew out of the hangar, and soon the magnificent ocean appeared below them as they rushed towards San Francisco. Isaac made sure to keep his face emotionless and cold. He didn't want anyone to know he could feel joy. That he had a weakness. He tried to play it off that he was starring out the window because he despised to look at the faces of his teammates. Maybe it worked, maybe it didn't. Sentinel didn't care. What they thought of him didn't matter. They...They were just people. The closest things he had to friends and family were still just people. And people didn't care. That's what life had always taught Isaac.

No one cares.

Sentinel turned away from the water as he felt the slight shift in the plane's flight trajectory. Rose had activated the auto-pilot, he'd wager. Isaac turned and watched as Ravager exited the cockpit and stood in the isle to brief them. When the hologram of Lobo appeared and Rose began to describe the mission objective and parameters, Sentinel's eyes locked with the alien's. He looked so real. Just like how Superman described him. A scowl formed on Sentinel's face as he looked at that ugly beast. Rose had said he was suppose to be strong. But he didn't look very strong. He looked like everyone else: Weak. Flawed. Maybe Lobo wouldn't be the one. Sentinel's scowl turned into a snarl. Of course Lobo wasn't the one. That'd be too easy! No, the universe has to make everything difficult. The universe has to draw everything out and make Sentinel suffer even longer. Fine, whatever. It didn't matter. Time wasn't of the essence. The only thing Sentinel had was time.

At least Lobo would make a decent punching bag.

When the hologram dispersed Sentinel turned back to the window. San Francisco appeared below them. They would be to Chinatown soon, it seemed. Isaac wouldn't have much longer to enjoy the peace of the air. If only he could fly on his own, like he was suppose to, this wouldn't be a problem. He'd have all the time in the world to enjoy the sky. He could fly as high and as far as he wanted. But for now he was trapped here. On the ground.

When the T-Wing began to slow down and descend, Sentinel released his restraints and stood. He marched toward the exit ramp, right behind Rose. She shouted their battle cry, and explained the plan of engagement. Sentinel wondered for a brief moment what Rose would be doing during this fight. That thought left Isaac's mind quickly when he locked his sights on Lobo. Finally, something he could hit! A small smile crept onto his otherwise angry face as his feet touched the floor. "Accelerate! Aim for the backs of his knees; hit him hard and hit him fast. Sandstorm, try to blind him! Microbat, disarm him and keep the civilians safe." Sentinel yelled out before he looked towards Lobo.

"LOBO!"

The bounty hunter turned, his attention on the child who called his name.

"Look into my eyes. Their the last thing you'll ever see! DIE!" Sentinel shot forward at the speed of a bullet, firing off his heat vision full bore at the intergalactic bounty hunter. Nanoseconds after the beams connected, Sentinel slammed into Lobo and unleashed a torrent of punches to his face and chest. He let loose a bestial scream as he pounded on Lobo with the same force he used to make Superman bleed. Hopefully, Isaac's team stayed out of his way. Bloodlust consumed the Kryptonian, and there was little he could do to stop himself at that moment.

Rufus had scoffed at the berating of Wonderboy by Ravager. He thought of the Demigod to be unprofessional, not just because he was naked, but his entire demeanor screamed 'I try hard to make it seem like I don't care' to Rufus. The Speedster stayed behind when the rest got into the T-Wing, looking at Rose before they departed. "Ma'm, we're going against Lobo, and I'mma need full power, so I'll meet you at the location." Rufus told Rose, whom agree'd and told him to be on his way, calling it a race. Rufus scoffed at the idea.

No machine could keep up.

Running approximately 6,7 miles away from the location where the T-wing would land, Rufus prepared. He had pushed himself while running to generate as much power as possible. Using the communication links he had heard what Rose's orders were, he was to take on Lobo with Bravo Team. Patching into the cameras on the outside of the T-Wing Accelerate got a clear image of the intergalactic bounty hunter. He arrived at his destination, a hill where he would have a clear path down to Chinatown. It was perfect, and the exact distance he needed to hit max speed.

"Roger. Kryptokid, I'm going to need you to hold him real still. It's hard to turn at mach 2." Rufus said, feeling the tingling in every inch of his body as the black and yellow sparks danced on the outskirts of the skintight suit. Taking a breath he felt the energy surge inside of him. "Right. Let's go." He said to himself, feeling as his legs pushed off the ground and the world slow down around him. Speeding down the street he could see people in ultrarapid, passing a hummingbird that seemed to stand still, dashing through San Francisco he saw a stroller slide down the street into ongoing traffic, him stopping it safely by giving it a appropriate push in the other direction.

As he reached mach 2, he felt how the rules of physics became more like suggestions, he no longer felt as if he had any weight on him, like he could just as well have been flying. The supersonic boom created from him breaking the sound barrier turned on every car alarm in a four block radius. With 2 miles left he had to get ready. Withing a blink of anyone else's eye he found himself upon China town, his calculations had been precise, Lobo was facing away from where Rufus would be hitting him from. The lasers from the very ticked off Kryptonian keeping him occupied.

Rufus came up behind Lobo like a shade, skidding to a halt, channeling the kinetic energy from breaking his speed into his leg, he delivered a devastating kick to the back of the main man's knee, leaving a opening for the Kryptonian to hit him. After his foot had hit Lobo's leg, Accelerate skidded backwards from the recoil, his powers mitigating the damage the recoil did into momentum that gained some distance between the speedster and the by now, pissed off intergalactic bounty hunter.

"We gon' fight a big foe, huh?" Rhea remarked, sitting passively on one of the benches. Her eyes were closed in contemplation, her thoughts wandering over to the kryptonian's outburst against the Amazon. For one, he shrilled higher than a teapot and, for another, as the song goes: 'when the water's boiling, hear me shout...'. Well, there we go: Teapot. While they dared to call themselves 'Teen Titans', more or less, each of them knows that they were far from the idea of being friends. Heck, Rhea doubted they were even acquaintances! Aside from the usual grunts and nods as greetings as they passed each other in the hallways, they, as a single cohesive unit, never shared a conversation longer than it took Teapot to hold his temper. If there's one solid thing about them, who only knew each other for a few weeks or so, it was the fact that they were not friends.

The remainder of the team had already gotten aboard the vessel and Rhea wasted no time in staring at them. Now, Pistolera was a tough gal to boot. First impressions sometimes define a lot of things and when Rhea's eyes glided over to the vixen who smoked better than a belching ten-wheeler truck, she knew that Smoker was the archetype of 'fuck with me and you're fucked' kind of persona. Her glares were daggers and her visage drove chills down Rhea's spine. Well, it could only be the smoke... Still, her lungs might be as mutilated as a cuttlefish for dinner and while Rhea would be more than happy to help heal that organ by regenerating her cells, the healer's lack of training might cause disastrous results. The next one to come to her attention was Majay... or Magi... Rhea does not know how to pronounce his name. He was a peculiar lad but they never really talked much aside from nods and hums. Well, for old time's sake and for convenience, she'd probably call him Hatman; yep, that is easier. The next one to arrive was Thermo, but, screw that, she'd call him Thermos since he was both hot and cold from time to time-- much like Rhea's love life. Finally, the tardiest titan alive had arrived... Whirlpool. Personally, Rhea had no qualms with her. She might be as arrogant as a beaver with a dam but she knew how to 'feel' the emotions of others. Still, Whirlie really needs to get her alarm clock in check.

Rhea's thoughts were interrupted as a hologram of their target was shown. Okay, for someone who was deemed as a 'big criminal and threat', he wasn't all that intimidating. But, hey, perhaps she has just gotten use to Batty's appearance that anything weird was already normal. "Just 'cus somethin's big don't mean dat dey ar' effective." her lips echoed out the words as her eyes shot a glance at Mini-Package. Much to Rhea's disappointment, her eyes lingered on him longer than she would have wanted it to. But, then again, it was probably normal for her to succumb to such fascinations with his death.

That was a big mistake. Instantly, the depression took its place as Rhea's eyes dropped to the floor, her fingers fiddling with each other as if reliving the moments were his life slipped through her hands. "Funny."

---

Finally, they had arrived! It was about time because Rhea was near to tears with the onslaught of her shadows. Their commander, Rose, needn't give Rhea her orders because it was pretty much the same every-freaking-time. As the others began to dash out of the vessel and play, Rhea nimbly dropped to the floor with a sigh as her eyes began scanning for any civilians. "I be takin' care of dis civilians. I'll be leadin' dem out." she stated her resolve to her 'partner-in-support', Zane, and made a dash to the remaining individuals. As the restaurant was reduced to a laser circus, Rhea did her best to cater to the needs of civilians who were paralysed with fear and shock. With their heads down, Rhea and the line of civilians rushed towards the exit-- which wasn't hard to find since there was literally a blasted hole in the wall. However, due to the ongoing orchestra of bloodlust and violence, a child was injured with flying debris, falling to the ground pathetically as Rhea held the child in her arms. The child was bawling his eyes out, snot dribbling voraciously from his snout. In other scenarios, Rhea would have just thrown the child outside but on this occasion... well, she didn't want another stroke up on her chalkboard. The boy screamed his lungs out as Rhea took the child in her slender arms, her pale fingers softly floated upon the child's swollen lips and pressed gently on them to silence his shouts.

"Shh, shh." Rhea caressed the child's cheek, noticing that there was a nasty wound on the boy's leg. "You trust lil'o me, aight?" she gently smiled, placing her lips on the child's forehead whilst her fingers did away with the sullen tears of the injured lad. After a few minutes, the leg had been healed without the child noticing. "Go, run, lad." Rhea ushered the child out to his parents before returning to the concerto. She noticed Teapot delivering commands, noting how enraged he was. "Boys." Rhea sighed with much exasperation. "I'd rather dat dis concerto be finis' soon. No blood, please." Rhea mumbled to herself, observing the fight whilst fighting to ignore the trail of blood that had stained her robe due to the child's injury. Her eyes observed Teapot battling Lobo to the death, noticing how good he had chained his attacks that left little opportunity for the hunter to counter. As if that wasn't enough, Tulip had reappeared behind Lobo, sending a shattering kick that had a recoil to boot. This place was not going to last any longer with these brutes and their sky-high testosterone eating the place away. "There be no civies 'ere. Go wild." Rhea smirked as she stepped to the sidelines, ready to assist whenever.

If victory in this fight is not assured, one thing was: this restaurant ain't going to be standing. Oh, and they won't be able to get a chinese go-to box. So much for that idea.

Zane blushed out of embarrassment. Amazon always did this, he was like a gaint sun and we always get caught in his rays.

When they reached the hanger, Rose saw Amazon she was not happy. When she asked Zane to put some clothes on him he was caught off guard. "Ok....I'll do that. Etius repus Snozama." He said with uncertainty. But the spell worked and Wonder boy was fully clothed in seconds. That alll boarded the ship and strapped in. He sat next to Rhea and looked around, all his teammates sat in their sears and he could feel the anticipation coming off in waves from them.

When Roose brouht up Lobo, Zane felt like a kid in a candy store. He was a little scared, but excited none the less. She had put him on tuff fee support team, Zane didn't have a problem with that, he would probably get hurt anyways.

@Cubix"Okay, I'll help with the fight, you need anything just call." He said to Rhea. Zane turned to the right and saw that alpha team had a grip on Lobo so he turned to the mech suite.

"You are really ugly you know that." Zane said to the creature. It must have understood, because it turned to Zane and charged. Zane saw a bowel of noodles on the floor and had an idea. "Sniahc" he pointed his wand at the noodles, and the turned into floating chains, he then pointed at the alien and they wrapped around him. "That should do it, now attack before he gets out of those." He said to beta team.

I'm second onto the T-Wing, just after Rose. A real pair of good little child soldier's, us. Not sure how I feel about Ravager, something about her puts me off. Maybe it's that eye. She's only got one, and yet I still get the stinking suspicions that she knows too much, see's too much, more than she lets on. Maybe she get's that from her daddy, Deathstroke. I hear he's a big shot assassin. Given the League a run for their money a time or two. A real stone cold killer. Pfft, like I care. My daddy's better.

I grab my HK416 assault rifle, stored at the back of the jet on Rose's recommendation, figuring that I'm going to need the fire power before the day is over. I take it to my seat and start cleaning and inspecting. No point going into a fight with a gun that can't shoot, now is there? I take a minute to fix the grenade launcher under the HK's barrel. After all, we can't all punch like Superboy. Or Sentinel, or whatever he's going by. Guy's sitting across from me, fuming at nothing in particular. That boy needs to get himself laid, get rid of some of that pent up energy. Even on a team of untrained liabilities like the Teen Titans he stands out as an untrained liability. I make a note to myself to keep well clear of him on the battlefield, cause somebody that uncontrolled is going to get someone less deserving killed. Getting killed isn't on my to do list.

My thoughts are interrupted by Evander, deciding to sit next to me. I thought the message was clear, cool kids sit at the back, the nerds fuck off to the front. Guess they don't teach you to read body language on Paradise Isle. He's wearing clothes now, though no less dreamy for it. Christ, did I just say dreamy? What is happening to me!?

I sigh heavily as he parks himself, hoping he gets the message that I don't want to talk. Hey, I can admire the way a guy looks, doesn't mean I have to engage him in conversation while doing it. I start looking out the window before he gets any funny ideas. Even then, I can't help but notice how his muscles lock and his skin goes white when the T-Wing hits turbulence. Someones scared of flying? Interesting. I'll remember that for later. Knowing Adonis' weaknesses might make working with him a shade more bearable, help me remember that under all the golden skin, chiseled abs and perfect bone structure, he's got his flaws too.

"So, you 'hang out' on the balcony every morning?" Eurgh. What a horn dog. Shame someone that handsome has so little game. Think he would be smoother than that, being raised on an island of women.

"You were more attractive when you were the strong, silent type, you know that?" I snark in reply.

Fortunately we've arrived at our destination, putting an end to our witty repartee. Turns out Lobo's not alone, as he's tearing up Chinatown with the help of some weird little green dude in a metal suit. Or maybe they're fighting each other, I can't tell. All I can say is their making a better job of smashing Chinatown than Godzilla ever did. . .If Godzilla ever came to Chinatown. . . Or was real.

Ravager started shouting orders, and I just thank my lucky stars that I'm not in Superboy's team. Especially when he starts screaming orders of his own. Yeah, that's smart, listen to the guy with the rage issues. How could that possibly go wrong?

Wonderboy makes himself useful, using his shield to block the mecha-aliens incoming shots. I pop out from behind him to return fire, though without much hope of doing any major damage. Alien death-suits rarely fall to simple automatic fire, as unfair as that is to someone like me. You gotta get creative.

Creative like Magi, creating chains outta noodles and tying them around our extraterrestrial visitor. Well, well, looks like one member of our team can think beyond such simple concepts as 'GURR, SMASH!' Colour me impressed.

Then again, SMASH does have a time and a place.

"What you waiting for lover boy," I whisper in Evan's ear, gesturing at the stricken alien "You're not going to get a better chance to impress me."

That said, I begin strafing round the room, laying the heat onto the target. Round after round I fire, doubting I'm even making a scratch. Time to change tactics. I load in a frag grenade, and send it out with all my love. It explodes with an ear shattering boom, especially in such a confined space. Lucky I'm wearing ear dampners, but something tells me Bat-boy's not going to be thanking me. Oh well, one team mates loss of hearing should be worth the loss of one insane alien.

Or it would have been, if when the smoke cleared the insane alien wasn't still standing. A little scorched and dinged maybe, but still standing. His mad little eyes fix on me, and you can just tell that what comes next isn't going to be good.

"FRAG KA SKAGVEYT KEEZY FEM!" Crap.

He stops screaming for a second, and it looks like he hits a few buttons inside his suit. Theirs a series of whirring and clicking, and next thing I know I'm staring down the barrel of a shoulder mounted cannon that's folded out of his suit. I glance wearily at my rifle, realizing I'm hopelessly outgunned here. Crap again.

Light begins to shine out the barrel of the cannon, and you don't need to be a genius to know what comes next. I turn and start running, diving behind the restaurants counter. Just in time too, because next thing I know chuckles in the death suit starts firing.

"Titans Together!" Eric heard Ravager cry as they emptied out of the T-Wing like roaches under a light. She designated "Amazon, Pistolera, Thermo, and" the lovely "Whirlpool" against the Mech wielder while "Sentinel, Accelerate," himself, "and Sandstorm", which he imagined to be a less cooperative bunch, were responsible for smiting the main man himself, Lobo.

"So, anyone else really want chinese right now?"

Of course I want Chinese, what kind of a stupid question is that? he scoffed inwardly, half-joking, before focusing on subduing Lobo.. on second thought, he took a pass. Deviating from the plan slightly, he broke away from the pack to jolt to a secondary exit, charging in low flight into a heavy metal door so forcefully he broke it free from his hinges and could hold it like a shield. It would never hold against Lobo, maybe Sentinel could, but Eric was sure that he couldn't.

However, his vandalism had its desired effect. The sprinkler system went off, and the fire alarm, screaming throughout the entire building, the entire building as he was sure it would continually. This gave him an instant sonogram outline of the entire building, comprehensive and constantly updating. There was an explosion of overlapping and cascading sound waves, like the domino effect taking hold of a mine field. In half of a second though, Eric's brain had sorted through the chaos and transcribed it into a scratchy quasi-visual jigsaw puzzle.

Sentinel's instructions were to remove the civilians, but it had already been handled. Sentinel seemed almost hungry for power, starved, maybe tired of being under someone elses thumb? He had a fraction of the powers of Superman, maybe it meant he just wanted to be in control for once and was taking his angst out on Lobo. Been there, done that. But it was time to bring that to an end. If Sandstorm's job was to blind, Eric would keep Sentinel's hands clean from Lobo's blood, even if it meant blowing both their ear drums out.

"Sentinel, get back," he screamed before throwing the steel door as hard as he could at Lobo.

"Skreeeeeeee!"

Spreading his lips wide apart, Eric drew in a breath before casting an ear shattering squeal aimed directly at Lobo. There was no doubt Sentinel could dodge if he wasn't overcame by an urge to beat the enemy into a stain on the ground.

"That's what I'm talking about!" Ariel pumped her fist in over-exaggerated excitement at Ravager's mention of Lobo. "Finally someone who can compete with my intensity." She looked at the rest of her teammates with the figurative mask of a facial expression that she always put on in times of anxiety to try to convey that she was dauntless. No one paid her much attention, which both annoyed her and made her determined to show the rest of the Titans how much better than them she believed she was. She closed her eyes and rested her head against the seat for the remainder of the flight, envisioning what she planned to do come game time.

--

The ship began its descent to the ground near the heart of the action, where Lobo and an alien in a mechanical suit were brawling in some restaurant. Rose shouted out the incredibly lame battle cry before assigning the team their responsibilities. "Amazon, Pistolera, Thermo and Whirlpool get the one in the mech suit." She continued with giving the rest of the team the go-ahead to attack Lobo or just support, but she tuned her out in a fit of disappointment. "Are you kidding me? This is just too damn easy," Whirlpool rolled her eyes, both angry but secretly relieved she wasn't part of the Alpha team.

Zane, ever the opportunist, was the one who kicked off the "fight". One of his spells utilized the noodles to hinder and immobilize the alien. Pistolera fired at the creature before the creepy little thing responded by firing his own weapon at her. Time to prove myself, she thought before concentrating on all the liquids in the shop, hoping to quickly intervene. Aren't the Chinese famous for tea or something? She hoped there was something hot, because at that second all the liquids in the restaurant burst into the scene, coming from all around the place.

The various drinks came together to form a small stunning wave that blasted into the alien, stopping him from possibly injuring Pistolera with whatever crazy futuristic gun tbst he was firing. Hopefully his suit wasn't futuristic enough to be immune to some good old water damage in its circuits. Maybe that was just in the movies, but she really hoped her attack did more than just protect a teammate.

She glanced around to see what the rest of her teammates were doing. It wasn't smart in the midst of a battle but she'd bought herself the time. Sentinel was releasing what seemed to be the equivalent of an emo teenage boy's pent-up aggression on "The Main Man". Rufus and Eric were assisting. Rhea was tending civilians, hopefully they could somehow comprehend her accent. Then Ari saw Wonder Boy who was yet to make a move. "Hey Demi-boy, how about you do something besides admiring yourself?"

The flight to Chinatown was excruciating, to say the least. Being forced to sit still when he was getting pre-fight adrenaline was not a very comfortable experience in Luke’s books. His knees rose up and down in a frenzy of excitement. The longer he stayed quiet, the more unbearable the wait became. He was desperate to talk to one of his teammates. Much to his chagrin, he was prevented from doing so by Rose Wilson, a.k.a. Ravager, who began briefing the Titans on the alien bounty hunter, Lobo. He knew of the guy and what he was capable of, and he was confident that the team could take him on (assuming that they worked together), but the confirmation that he was who they’d be facing only added to his jitters. As much as he was itching for a fight, Luke was only a street-level hero; while he had powers, there was no way that he could last against someone as powerful and unhinged as Lobo. He’ll be damned, but the hot-headed Sentinel seemed to be their only solid chance at beating the Czarnian.

The T-Wing touched down and Rose was quick to shout orders, assigning Sandstorm, Accelerate, Microbat and Sentinel with taking Lobo down, the latter inspiring a strange feeling of relief. Despite his often repulsive personality, the young Kryptonian was a good asset to the team, one that Luke was glad was on his side.

The Titans were quick to launch into action; Alpha Team starting to dispatch an almost amphibious-looking alien encased in a mech suit. Luke was impressed by Magi’s quick thinking, using a spell to transform noodles into chains to bind the extraterrestrial, allowing the rest of Alpha to launch quick attacks without worrying about defence. Rhea was quick to get innocents out, ridding the team of any chance of collateral damage. Simone, or Pistolera, the gun-slinging badass, unloaded round after round at her target, before discarding her namesakes in favour of a fragmentation grenade, the sound of the explosion deafening. However, the damage seemed to stop there, the smoke clearing to reveal an undamaged and angry alien. Before Alcarez could get hurt, Ariel the water-woman summoned as much liquid as she could, blasting the mech suit with it, the fluid seeping into it and possibly damaging its circuits in the process. Now that was teamwork.

The same couldn’t be said for Luke’s group. Team Bravo was in a state of aggressive chaos, Sentinel shouting orders before charging into Lobo with a ferocity Luke had never seen before. “Accelerate, aim for the backs of his knees; hit him hard and hit him fast. Sandstorm, try to blind him! Microbat, disarm him and keep civilians safe.”

Accelerate seemed to like Sentinel’s idea, dashing out of the restaurant only to come right back, his blurry form barely visible as he hit the back of Lobo’s leg with a savage kick, lowering the Czarnian onto his knees. Microbat followed up, deviating from orders, triggering the fire alarm along with the sprinkler system, delivering an ear-shattering scream that blew Lobo away, sending him flying into a plethora of dining tables and chairs, the furniture splintering as he collided with it. Recovering from the blow, he was incensed, his pale face set in an expression of rage carved from stone. He did seem a little out of it, though; Eric’s sonic shriek was more effective than Luke anticipated.

Sandstorm took this as his chance. Sentinel wanted Lobo blinded? He will be. But why stop there?

Water ran down his back in rivulets, the sprinkler system’s spray never-ending. Curling his forefingers, he beckoned the sand out of its pouch, only to notice that it had clumped together into a brown mass, dampened by the water. It had somehow seeped into the pouch, turning the sand into mud. Dammit, Eric. Who the hell do you think I am, Mudstorm?

But it was no problem. As long as there was sand, there was hope, and Luke sent the mud flying into Lobo’s eyes, replicating it until it covered his entire body, no patch of skin visible, filling his mouth with the grainy texture of damp sand. He then willed it to harden, the mud solid as rock, restricting Lobo’s movement, at least for the time being.

“Accel! Bat! Sentinel! It’s up to you guys now. Work together. Don’t get carried away.

The ride to their destination could have been much worse if JC didn't have his warm ice cream with him. Mostly everyone around him was quiet. They hadn't been together long, but you could tell that they were finding it difficult to become buddy buddy with each other. Everyone in their group had their flaws. He was no exception, but he didn't care much for that. He wasn't here to make friends or even be in a relationship. The closest thing he had was the inevitable attraction to Evander, but that had something to do with his power of attraction. Damn the gods for creating such a being. He tried to fight this attraction by either commenting on his little friend whether it be mentally or vocally. He also tried not to look at him to ease things. He looked around at his teammates on the T-Wing. They were an interesting bunch. He had to give them that.

Rufus had decided to run his way there instead of joining everyone in the ship. He probably would have done the same, but he felt it was a waste to use his ice to travel the distance. The guy had a sour attitude and was often seen as a perfectionist. Of course he'd want to make sure that he was fully prepared for whatever he was about to run into. Next was Sandstorm or the Sandman. The latter seemed more fitting. Not only did he manipulate sand, but his costume and faceless mask made it seem perfect for someone who would put people to sleep. He didn't know much about him though besides the possibility of him being from Australia due to his accent. He wasn't surprised he didn't know much about any of his teammates. He wasn't really the communicating type. At least not when it came to being friendly.

Next was the seclusive powerless member of the team. They were a bit alike. He could tell that right off the bat. If there was ever a campaign against the anti-smoking campaign she'd be the perfect smokesperson for it. She screams, "I smoke and I'm the most badass teen you'd ever meet." She probably wasn't all that wrong. He gave her and Rose the most acknowledgement just because of how confident they seemed when it came to being in the hero game without super powers. Of course Rose was a bit more enhanced than a normal human, but it didn't really mean much once you really thought about it. If she ever reached the level of her father she'd be more than a handful, but let's not get into father talk.

His eyes wandered over to Rhea now. She seemed small and the least fitting to be a hero. When it came to combat she didn't pose much of a threat. Her powers were more of the supportive type. At least from what he knew about her. So far he just knew that she could help people regenerate. Maybe there was more to it than he currently knew. Not like he'd go out of his way to find out. He especially wouldn't ask her about it and that was partially due to how broken her English was. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to understand her. Up next in the roster was Microbat or Man-Bat Jr. His powers were useful in combat and something he'd have to look out for if he was ever controlled by an enemy. The last thing he needed to be on the battlefield was disoriented. That could speed up his death.

JC now turned his attention to Zane. The resident Homo-Magus. He didn't know much about him except that he belonged to the famous Zatara family. Other than that he knew that his magic was something useful. Especially so if Sentinel the Teen of Angst ever lost control. He was next on his list to think about on this plane ride. They were somewhat alike. They both spent their early mornings on the roof of the Tower training. But he felt like was the kid in school who tried too hard to be angsty and edgy. He doubted that it was working though. He was sure that everyone could see through it.

Next on his list was Ariel or Whirlpool. Her real name fit her rather well considering her powers over water. It was almost like her parents planned it out that way. Either that or she changed her name. Her powers complimented his the most. He already thought of different strategies where they could combine their powers to benefit them in combat. He of course didn't talk to her about it though, but if she was smart she probably figured some ways out as well. To him she was the most attractive one on the team and she didn't need some weird power to make him feel that way either. Looking at you, Evander. His thoughts were interrupted by Rose getting up and showing them who they were going to face. Lobo, the Bounty Hunter. He was something that the League should face. Right now it seemed like they were lambs headed to the slaughter. Jeremiah knew that the teens wanted to be seen as independent and able to take care of things on their own, but the League couldn't really think they could handle this on their own, did they? It was almost like they didn't care about whether or not they fell in combat.

He could have mentally gone on and on about this, but they reached their destination and it was time to get his head in the game. He had finished his ice cream before getting off the ship and listened to Rose's orders. He was on Alpha Team and was responsible for handling the tiny gremlin thing in the mech suit. Team Beta was supposed to take care of Lobo. He felt like the priority names were switched in this case.

Instantly everyone went into action except for him. He was taking everything in. Evander provided the defense for Alpha Team while Pistolera was shooting and throwing frag grenades. He winced a bit when the latter was thrown. When he recovered he noticed that she was diving for cover. He decided to remain behind Evander to make sure he didn't end up getting blasted by a cannon while trying to figure out a course of action. He had just noticed that Zane had tied the mech suit in chains, but he knew that wouldn't hold for long and that the movement being halted wouldn't stop the firing of weapons. They needed something else to use the trigger happy alien mech suit.

It started raining from the fire sprinklers in the restaurant thanks to their bat friend. This could work. It could work. He turned his head to see the progress of the Beta Team. They were going for a rock-em sock-em approach with the added effects of lasers and screams. He also noticed that the civilians were gone which meant they could go all out now if they wanted to. He returned his attention back to his own situation. Whirlpool was conjuring up water and liquid from the entire restaurant and using it to douse their Gundam opponent. This was his chance. To secure the liquid still outside of the wiring he turned moved to the right side of Evander and opened his palm to blast the Krolotean with ice. He moved his hand to cover up most of the suit with ice making sure to leave the cockpit alone.

"Now. Amazon, hold yourself sturdy." His tone was more serious than just simply dry and cold this time. He quickly moved back to the back of Evander and jumped up off his shoulder while forming what appeared to be a staff of ice in his right hand. When he reached his target he jabbed the staff right into the cockpit hoping to fully end the scuffle there by trying to disrupt and destroy it from within. Now he just had to make sure to get out of the way in time or else his reign as a hero would end soon after it started.
