After successfully making it into the building, Troy hid away a little when noticing new recruits coming in after he did and while walking around, they seemed to walk towards where they could hear talking. Debating if he should join the others or lurk around on his own, Troy figured this was a risky move if he's found out and not on the database as a volunteer. He did not what they would do if they found him. He was sneaking around looking in all directions to spot if anyone was coming his way.

Carefully, so as not to make awkward eye contact with anyone, Kurt's gaze swept across the other participants. He felt mildly surprised that most of these people appeared to be minors; he wondered vaguely if this was legal or if they'd had to badger overworked parents into lazily signing a waiver. Or perhaps many of them had forged the signatures. He'd certainly done that plenty of times when there were field trips that he wanted to attend before his aunt had taken him under her wing. A prickle of uneasiness went up his spine. Socialization was the last thing on his mind right now, especially after that positively nightmarish bus fiasco. All he wanted was to go straight into a laboratory, discuss a few medical topics perhaps with a well-trained doctor, get his powers, and move on from there.

He glanced down at the plant that he still cradled in both hands, feeling quite out of place here. Not that that mattered. He wasn't here to make friends. Still, it couldn't hurt to be polite to at least one person. Stiffly, he sat in an uncomfortable bench as far away from a freakishly-cheerful looking scientist as possible, and then set down the pot containing his succulent so softly that the hard clay didn't make a sound. He took a deep breath.

Tori smiles and grabs his hand pulling him down the corridor while almost running "So what room are you in? I'm in room 7" She asks while still running down the corridor looking for the rooms. She would smile at him but then she could run into a wall and that would not be fun at all. She was looking all around incase she missed a sign or something

Jacque continued to watch everything transpire without speaking, although he couldn't help but cringe at the sound of one of the girls wailing about someone named Zarr, whom he could only assume to be the deranged doctor. As more people began to cluster around the area Jacque turned his head a bit to get a look at his fellow volunteers just as one of the girl's introduced herself as Tori. Jacque debated giving his name as well out of courtesy, however another person that appeared to be a bit young for the project appeared on the scene and spoke before the two made their departure for their living quarters. "Well-" Jacque began before he took another puff from his pen, "So much for the proper meet n' greet. I'm Jacque. It's nice to meet you all, I guess.". Jacque didn't bother waiting for a response, rather he simply turned on his heel to find his own living quarters to unpack.

Bo had already checked in or rather dropped in because his father was a high ranking scientist and military official, who only used his perks just to get his son into this experiment.

He had been hanging around the building he now heard the sound of voices and he approached wanting to see who was there.

Because he was rather curious and he wanted to meet the other people who were interested in this experiment.

@MellyNyan Kory flinches involuntarily at the sudden contact, but relaxes after a short moment. "Erm... I think it was Room 9?" He was definitely warming up to this girl, and how couldn't he? Most people would have commented about the red scarf around his neck, even though it's not winter. Or even the rubber bands and gloves.

Her eyes scattered and saw that everyone was walking away. That mad doctor was heading her way and it sent her chills to think about what he's up to now. She quickly jerked her body forward and followed after Jacque.

Jacque turned his head marginally as he heard someone trail behind him, however he never stopped or changed his pace. It was the woman from earlier whom had freaked out about the advancing scientist looking fellow. "Uh...hi? Is there something I can help you with?". Jacque's stride finally slowed a bit as he noticed something off about Eva. Upon his initial viewing of her he'd simply assumed that the stuff covering her arms and legs were merely either a pair of gloves and stockings or a full body suit under her clothing. As he watched them reflect light as she moved he began to reconsider that assumption. That scientific curiosity of his began to rise up again. Were they some sort of prosthetics? What was their composition? What sort of properties did they hold? He momentarily considered asking her in order to quench his curiosity, however Jacque managed to bite his tongue for the time being. He didn't know this person, nor did he know how she would react to his interest in her limbs. At best it would probably be considered rude, or at worst he'd end up insulting Eva if it turned out that she was an amputee like he was now.

Eva trailed him with her head repulsively turned behind her and looked at the corridor for Zarr. Her hopes fueled by the wishes for Zarr to give up his chase and hopefully to follow the other instead of her was interrupted by Jacque's trailing voice. "Uh...hi? Is there something I can help you with?" Her face focused on Jacque's almost baffled.

"N-no. Nothing really. I j-just want to get away from Zarr." Her hand shot forward to his shoulder as if shoving him to the side-- quickly finding that one of his arm was missing and stumbled slightly forward. "H-hey!" She almost spouted from reflex and took a proper look at Jacque's features. "Oh..." Her eyes stiffened when she saw the missing arm. "Accidents?" Her sight drifted towards her limbs. "I can relate to that..." She hid her arms away behind her.

Nathan would be late, swearing quietly to himself, he would press the console, saying "I'm Nathan Grant, I enlisted fo-" He would quickly be cut off by a womanly voice saying "-You're late. Telekinesis. Get in quickly, And find your room!" Nathan would sigh, saying "Yeah." And quickly stumbling inside the gate, walking slowly once inside, he would stare at the large compound, in the corner of his eye he notices the young woman motioning him inside, he would grin, winking once before moving in quickly, quietly sinking as he sees everyone around.

He would watch two people run off, muttering "Love already.." and beginning to follow them, trying to find his room "Room 12.." He would speak in a hushed voice, making no eye contact with any staff and people. He would find his room to see it is seemingly specked out in random crap on a table, he would sigh, placing his dufflebag on the ground, and beginning to unpack his crap. Underwear, Shirts, Pants, Shorts, Cleaning products "Hm.."

Zarr was already getting a bad impression and he only said one word. He thought for a bit and came up with nothing. So instead of a complicated idea to achieve friends he decided to just stalk or maybe....kidnap.... Wait no just stalk and only kidnap if necessary. Zarr began to levitate off the ground and started floating towards Jacque's and Eva's direction. If he wants to make a new friend he'll need some help from an old one. Judging by how things are set up it looks like Jacque was is first volunteering friend. Zarr floated a few yards behind them in the opening. He was clearly a terrible stalker but he liked being noticed by his pray.....I mean new friend. He just casually floated behind them smiling not saying a word.

Volta walks through the building, looking for someone to guide her to where she is supposed to be. "Hello? Is anybody here?" She had seen a couple of people walking around earlier, but now, they were nowhere to be found. "Perhaps I'm in the wrong place..."

She continues walking around, her grip getting tighter and tighter on her bag. Did I miss something? A door? Where is everyone? Maybe I'm being set up? No, no turning back. Don't get second thoughts!

He saw a group of people and he approached them with caution they seemed to be jumpy, and so was he because Bo was never the kind to advance in a social endeavour.

Bo approached them more hurriedly to catch them and to not scare them away, he opened his mouth and he strained to have words come out but he mustered the will to speak.

"U-uh hi"

He said to the people as he tried to keep pace with them, he looked at them timidly and his eyes filled with fear of them just to ignore him because he seemed like an odd kid.

"Can I hang with you guys?"

Bo said timidly along after them as they marched down the halls and he sounded slightly afraid because he didn't want these people to just ignore him he wanted to stay with these people and not alone.

As Rei stepped through the gate, leaving his old life behind the closing metal bars, he felt a rush of wind - of someone who tried to sneak past him: the blurred frame of a rather beefy human, and he was a little amused at the agility this person showed that contradicted with his size. The suspicious movement of this stranger piped his curiosity - he stuffed the documents into the inner pocket of his hoodie, tailing the man quietly, making sure he kept his distance so as not to attract his attention.

After a few turns around the corner, he noticed that the man had stopped and was hiding away - he soon picked up distant voices ahead. He weighed his choices...

He moved quickly but silently next to the stranger and tapped his shoulders lightly, a finger on his lips and the other gestured at the roll of papers in the man's hand.

Waiting around for a bit, checking if the coast was clear, Troy was still in his hiding place thinking about his next turn of action. Maybe if he was to get a hold of an official, threaten him to give him abilities. He could just join the others and pretend to be one of the registered volunteers and hopefully be added into the system without any problems or-. Through the series of outcomes he was going about in his head, Troy felt someone tap his shoulder.

Thinking he was in trouble, he quickly turned, ready for a fight only to notice some young boy standing there. no...not just some young boy, it was the same one he saw with his father and should've thanked for giving him the opportunity to sneak into the place. The boy gestured to stay quiet and pointed to the papers he had rolled up in his hand.

Raising an eyebrow, Troy noticed this young man didn't attempt to alert anyone of his presents and just from that, Troy was obligated to show him if this was a way to prove he wanted to be here. Troy unrolled the printed application to show that he intended to volunteer for the program, all the while keeping his eye on the boy to make sure he didn't do anything to give away his presence. What intrigued Troy though, was that this boy actually managed to sneak up on him undetected which was something he was surprised about since he's been able to outrun and con his enemies to where they never found him.

"Nice your opposite me" she smiles at hims slowing down and looking at the room numbers before letting go of his hand and grabbing her map. "We are just left from down here" She mumbles partly to herself and started walking down the corridor before looking back at him "You coming?" she asks tucking her hair behind her ear and holding the strap of her backpack again

Bo sighed and stopped trying to catch up with the group he decided to look around and make himself at home so he decided to choose a random direction and go down a hall.

All the halls were oddly the same and it was slightly stupid and confusing but he would get used to it, he guessed but he chose to go down the west hall and see what was that way because he just had a feeling that there must be something interesting in that direction so he slipped his hand in his pockets and walked down the hallway minding his own buisness.

His attempts to catch up failed but now he would go on his own little adventure, he thought this would be interesting.

@MellyNyan Kory nods and smiles. "I'm with you." He hurries his pace for a while until he is walking side by side with Tori. "Finding someone nice like you is a pleasant surprise. Some people out there are real assholes."

Sarah looked up from her phone. And instantly regretted it. She was not sure how she had not noticed simply how many people there suddenly were around. She went into a slight panic, unsure of what to do. Should she keep ignoring them, or should she get acquainted? One thing she was certain of, one of those options was a lot less tempting.

The physics defying doctor was what made her make up her mind. Before she could get the chance to see anything else out of the ordinary, she started making her way down the corridor as inconspicuously as possible. Once she started getting into the more quiet area, she realized her heart was beating fast. Despite this, she felt like she was a lot more calm than she should have been. She had just seen someone defy gravity for the first time in her life. If that wasn't bad enough, it also proved even further that these "powers" were real and they really worked. She should have been feeling excited, but she was just more anxious than anything.

After calming down a bit more from walking along the empty corridor, Sarah sighed and glanced at her phone again. She cursed silently to herself. It seemed the building's wifi, which surprisingly actually existed, was password locked. She should have known, and now it wasn't letting her get to her email. She at least remembered they were given numbered rooms. It wouldn't do her much good, however, if she could not find the rooms.

She considered her other options. She might need to find someone who had actually printed out their map. She scratched her tattoo as she considered the situation. She didn't really get a good look at everyone. She had left the moment she saw the doctor after all. One of the kids that ran off might have been holding a paper of some sort, but she wasn't sure. It was her best option that didn't involve going back and asking that doctor, though. The kids had run off on this very same corridor, so she might still find them up ahead.

Some short time later, she realized she was right. Up ahead, she recognized the two kids from earlier. It was strange. She didn't expect there to be people this young coming to this place. Hopefully their parents were here and she had just missed them. For now, she just needed directions.

"Hey!" She called out. She quickened her pace until she caught up to them. "Hey, sorry. Do either of you have a map or know where the rooms are?"

She held up her phone, showing off how the wifi was locked. "I didn't think to print out the email."

@Valkyr Kory didn't really enjoy the presence of this adult, but he tried to hide that fact. Kory turned to Sarah and put on a fake smile. "We were just heading to our rooms. So I'm not sure where your's would be." He tugged at his scarf.
