There are many supernaturals in the world. Some fit in better then others. Schools were set up to help those who struggle to fit in. There is one college for those who can not fit in the normal world. It has both normal and supernatural classes. There will be drama and tension as these young adults try to figure out who they are and find their place in the world.

Alright, here's a character pitch. I've not found a suitable picture yet, but if I come across one I'll edit it in.

Name: Libris Arcanum by Morgana, AKA Libby Morgan

Age: Written around 200 years ago.

Powers: Living Spellbook - Can cast any spell written in her pages, and improvise magic based around books.

Appearance: A woman of around 20, wearing a dull green leather bodysuit and a long thin white coat. Her dusty-blonde hair has pink tips, and is decorated with a red ribbon, which is also tied to her glasses.

Alternatively, a heavy tome with a dull green leather cover and a white dust jacket. Has sepia-coloured pages with pink edges and a red ribbon bookmark, which is also tied to a gemstone.

Bio: Two centuries ago, a powerful magician named Morgana recorded her knowledge in a great tome. She poured in spells and studies, along with philosophy, poetry and arts, and even her journal. However, after several decades, Morgana stopped using the book.

However, such a concentration of focused magic and willpower can cause strange effects. In this instance, the book began to think for itself. As first, new words appeared on it's pages, simple sentences but developing more and more complexity. Soon the book was casting the spells inside of it, including one that let it assume a human form.

While the book had a great deal of knowledge on certain subjects, it was still over a century out of date by the time it developed self-awareness enough to be lonely and leave it's abandoned library. After some misunderstandings, and near-misses with mortal authorities, the book was taken to a particular college.

Name: Therris "Flux Shield" Reyon

Age: 19

Powers: "Earth Flux" or "Earth Power". The ability to manipulate the ground and objects around oneself in order to receive complete control. The primary use of this power is to create shields of essentially liquid rock, with the same properties (just being a different state of matter", though it has other uses. Such as imprisonment, earthquakes, demolition, transport, construction, and offence. He generally uses weapons for fighting, but if the need arises, his ability is always there.

Appearance: A normal-ish boy of around 19 wearing normal clothes. White trainers, jeans, a black top and a red leather jacket. He also has a ring with a strange insignia on his right hand, and a necklace with the same symbol. The only strange part to him is his stark white hair, which is always spiked in a subtle, yet noticeable way.

Bio: Therris Reyon learned of his ability at about 13. He was bullied a lot, and eventually his emotions got the better of him. One afternoon, the usual people that did bully him came to him. They beat him in the street, and stole the most precious thing to him - his necklace; the symbol of his power, given to him by his mother and father before they left for the war. Therris snapped, stood up, grabbed on of them by the shirt, and the ground itself shook. Windows around them shattered and the boy he grabbed was sucked into the ground by and unknown force. Therris stamped the ground, a wall (from one of the building) slid across the ground and formed again, with the second boy inside it. The third took the worst punishment. The buildings around crumbled, and formed a liquid mass below the boy, which slowly climbed up his legs, sealing him in place. Therris took the asphalt from beneath him and formed a blade of earth, and cleaved the boy in twine. The authorities caught up with him, but a certain college bailed him out of prison, promising him control over his magical ability.

Light Manipulaton: with a main focus on visual illusion and light healing.

▷ Biography:
Living in a single parent household in the Bronx was hard enough work as it was.

You can only imagine a young woman's reaction when she discovered her daughter had supernatural powers.

Brionna had discovered her powers early on in life during neighborhood sessions of hide and go seek. Her petite frame didn't take up much space as it was but, when she discovered she could direct light in a way to make her practically invisible- well, the kids didn't really want to play with a 'cheater'.

Due to this upbringing, Bri ended up getting herself in a lot of the wrong groups. One group of girls would encourage her to use her power to shoplift for them. Soon enough this became her outlet for a good time. That was until she realized that they had been using her and not really had been her friends all along.

Brionna tends to be a bit distant and even harsh at first when it comes to making new friends, she fears that they are using her for her powers, which is one of the reasons she decided to go to a college with people that we're her type with the hopes that they could and would understand her more than a "normal" person so to speak.

Besides the focus on her powers, Brionna enjoys dance and hip hop music.

Name: Mikael mab Roparzh (Michael Roberts)

Age: 19

Powers: Shapeshifting

Appearance: As a shapeshifter, Makael is capable of taking on most any form. However, he prefers the appearance by which most people know him: A short, small man, with a pale complexion and brownish hair. His clothes are rarely anything out of the ordinary.

Bio: Born in Rural Brittany, Mikael's parents were always of the nationalistic sort. Rather than a normal name like 'Michel' or 'Jean', his parents had insisted on a "traditional" name, and were always the once to insist (loudly) that school papers and newsletters be written in Breton as well as French. Of course, Breton was his "Keryhez" and French his "Langue de Vie".

A compassionate and idealistic person, Mikael was well-liked by his friends, and growing up in a poor, rural area, he was well-acquainted with what few neighbors he had. Though a bright student, he can be hopelessly absent-minded, and often gets lost in thought. Despite his humble upbringing, he had always dreamed of receiving an education at one of France's many universities.

Mikael's powers began to manifest themselves in his later childhood. His talents aren't the sort that occur spontaneously, but, of course, every 8-year-old has thought, at one point, "I want to be a dragon!" Mercifully, nobody was harmed in the ensuing confusion, but it was still a rather defining moment in his life. He had been brought up on the tales of the polpegan, but it had always been just that: a fairy tale. Now, it was very real, and very scary.

Despite now attending a university for the supernatural, Mikael still considers himself very much human, and his tenuous-at-best knowledge of English further exasperates his ability to fit in. Not, of course, that he doesn't try.

Powers:
Sage's power allows her to phase through solid matter by shifting her atoms through intra-atomic spaces. She can phase through organic and inorganic matter with no damage to herself or others. When she phases through an electrical system, her ability disrupts the system and shorts it out. Sage can spread her ability to any person or object she touches, having phased a car, full of passengers. Sage is weightless when in her phasing state and can influence her movement to phase downward into the ground and move through it to emerge upward from a different spot, simulating levitation.

Bio:
Sage is quite, polite, and reserved. She was raised in a very oppressive home where as long as she didn't do anything wrong she didn't get in trouble. If she didn't speak much or really make noise she was given whatever she wanted. She often keeps to herself and reads books. She made friends fairly easily in high school where her personality started to blossom infront of close friends. She is quite witty with a sharp tongue and always loves to make her friends laugh. She is very intelligent and is a dreamer.

Born into a wealthy home, Sage was given anything and everything she could want as long as she didn't bother her parents. Her mother, Maria, was a famous fashion designer and her father, Bryan, was a senator. Neither one of them ever home and when they were, they never really paid any attention to their daughter, treating her like a pest and getting the butler to get her. As soon as she was able to read, she buried herself into the library in her family's mansion.

One night, during a dream where she felt like she was falling, only to awake having fallen straight through her bed and bedroom floor into the basement.

It's one of those tricky ones with shapeshifting powers. They're good fun though.

A nice question I like to ask when finding out it's limits it 'Can you turn into a wardrobe?'

Though unlike the Plansescape: Torment NPC with that ability, you are under no compulsion to move into the changing rooms of a brothel.
