Veronica also looked stunned. "Really? Wow, cool! Beginners luck probably but thanks!" Veronica didn't know she had done something well on her first try. She looked around the room. Ryouko was doing something strange with a gun, Kiiros was being Kiiros, Damien and Katherin seemed as stoopified as she was, for different reasons mind. Veronica readied again and took a few more shots. Five in total, two hit in the outer ring area and the other three missed.

"Just keep practising. What I used to do is after every five shots, think about what I did wrong on each of the shots, and try and improve on that," She said, "Give it time and you'll get better."
Jen put the pistol down for now and finally aimed the shotgun. She had loaded some slug rounds into it, to better show her accuracy.
'I've wanted to do this for a long time,' she thought, smiling a little before taking a shot. The force of the shot made her waver a little, the slug punching a hole size of a large apple in the side of the target.

Then...Ryouko was pointed to a smaller section by one of the guards who was watching Veronica with the gun, cautiously. It was a little off to the side, and smaller than the others. All that it was was a cabinet, slightly dusty, and locked tight. Ryouko smiled. Locks...Fun when you put blood into them.

These men really didn't seem to use swords though. That was good.

As he bit down on the back of his hand, breaking skin and biting into blood, he put a drop into the lock and focused. The drop of blood slowly expanded and coated the inside of the lock, before twisting the mechanism to the position for it to be unlocked. The lock hit the floor and Ryouko took off the chain, before opening the drawer and chuckling softly. Despite having not been used in little while, which was apparent, he saw good swords. Even traditional blades, farther down, rested on a rack that was parallel to the ground. Now for the challenging part...One that worked in his hand and felt right.

Veronica practiced firing the pistol until the clip was empty, only five of the shots actually hit. One of the shots hit pretty close to the center, but it was mostly luck. She put the Glock down and went back over to the weapons rack. She held a few more pistols before going to the SMG section and holding some. She picked up a MP5 and liked the feel of it. "Hey Jen! How do you feel about this?" Veronica exclaimed, holding the weapon up, making sure to not point it at anyone. The gun she had fired was impressive, her aim was great.

Jen put the Spas down before walking over to the weapons rack herself.
"I'm not as familiar with SMG's. But I know that its used worldwide," she said, picking out an L85 for herself, "Give it a shot and see how it feels. Though I'd probably set it to semi automatic at first."
She headed back over to the range and set her assault rifle to three round burst, before taking aim and firing. She blinked a little, having hit two of the shots nearly bang on.
'I like this one,' she thought.

Veronica walked over to the range. "Thanks" She said to Jen as they passed by each other. The SMG was apparently good enough to be used widely so it had to be good. It took a minute of fiddling to get the gun to the correct setting. Holding the gun felt awkward, so she slid her hands to different positions until she tried one she had seen in movies from when she was younger. She crouched and held the gun like the 'solider' did. The sights seemed more helpful and the grip was much better. She figured that the top of the line was where it would be firing; the shot was lined up and taken. The weapon had a harder punch to it, causing a managed flinch. The bullet hit outside of the rings; though it was still on the target.

Jen fired a few more bursts, pleased with how this new gun felt, before putting it down and watching Veronica. The girls aim was definitely improving and, given more practice, she could turn out to be a very good shot. She walked over to Veronica between shots and put a hand on her back, straightening it slightly.
"Try that," she said.

All this support was nice, Kath could use some of it to, but there was time for that. Veronica took a few more shots, the flinching was fading away and the shots were getting better. The last shot she took hit just outside of the inner ring. 'Nice' She thought to herself. "There are other modes of fire on this right? Think I could try one of the others?" Jen was pretty much the expert, as far as she could tell.

Jen flicked a switch on the side, setting it to three round burst.
"Be careful," she said sternly, "That should make hitting multiplr shots easier, but you have to deal with three kicks in a row."
She took a glance over at Katherin, who was sitting on her own, before walking over.
"Hey. You okay?" She asked.

Katherin nodded. "Just watching." she didn't think that guns wouldnt be ideal for her. The kick back she was seeing would unbalanced her. She had no way to compensate for the kick back. No she needed something else. She looked at the swords but most of them were too big. Again her wings would get in the way. She needed something small but usefull. She frowned studying all the different weapons.

Veronica braced herself as she aimed, a twinge of fear of firing three in a row came up. She aimed at the center and fired, one shot hit a few inches above the center and the other two were more towards the top. She nearly fell back, mostly due to predicting the recoil, but recovered without incident. 'This is what she just did? And she does it well?' She thought. While the feeling was new and quite foreign, Veronica liked it. The feeling of firing the gun, the feeling of holding it, the feeling of hitting the target, it all felt fantastic.

Then...He began to search through the blades with a keen interest. He could tell by the look of the blade what would work best with him, and none of what he could see were it. Then he saw a set of similar made blades. All still in the case, mind you, so Ryouko had to carefully slide off the glass. The black sheath of the uppermost blade in the case was soft to the touch, and felt good in his hand.

Strike that, It felt great.

Ryouko drew out the sword slowly, admiring the plain design and yet, the sharp cutting edge. He set it down across his lap, placing one hand on the hilt while the free hand ran along the flat of the blade.

"Perfect." He whispered, as he stood up and gathered the two, smaller blades. He strapped the two largest to his waist, positioned at a curve, as he slid the smaller one into his jacket. He then walked over to one of the guards. "Can I go back to the Arena and practice with these?"

"Aren't you going to practice with any of the weapons?" She asked curiously, sitting down underneath where the girl was, "I know you probably haven't used any before, but nows a good time if you want to try."
She looked over at Veronica, smiling a little at the girl falling over. She would have to try and improve the girls posture more if she was wanting to fire anything larger than a pistol.

Katherin shook her head as one of the guards directed Ryouko to a small room.off to the dide. We're their practice rooms for each type of weapon. That would make sense. Still she wasn't sure that she could use any of the weapons. "No. I don't think do. First picking up a gun when you have no knowledge of them is a waste of bullets. Watching V I can see thst guns would be difficult for me to hand with my wings. I can't correct my balance as quickly as she does. I already have a damaged wing. I dont want to risk msking it worse."

Jen pondered that for moment, thinking about what the girl could do, and what would work well with her wings.
"What about a bladed weapon of some sort, like a sword or an axe?" She suggested, though she wasn't sure who could teach the winged girl.

Veronica continued to practice with the MP5, going through three clips of ammunition on Semi and burst fire modes. Her accuracy was getting better with each clip. The shots were landing ever closer to the center, though she was still not as good as Jen...yet. She eventually decided to try Full auto mode. Veronica assumed normal crouching position and aimed. Once she pulled the trigger...things went wrong. The first few shots were fine, but the fifth is where she started to lose control. She started to fall backwards and stopped firing. Her power stopped her from hitting the ground with any kind of force. She got up and looked down the range, there were some marks from impact along the upper part of the range. She looked around the group waiting for their response. A slightly worried look was on her face; though she, in the back of her mind, was exhilarated with the feel of firing that much.

Ryouko nodded his thanks to the guard and stood in the room, eyes closed, as he drew out the long blade from the sheath at his side. He took a few practice swings with the blade before he inwardly smiled, and tried to locate a type of training dummy. It was time to see what he could do with these blades.

Then he found one. Though it was made of metal, with a strict programming. He could tell that it would be hard to not slice apart the automaton, and so he sighed softly, before he cut his palm open. He made his blood coat the sharp edge of the blade, to where the edge was now blunted and not as able to cut. Thankfully, the blade wasn't harmed.

He then hit the start button, on the side of the dummy, and stepped back as it said robotically. "Five..Four...Three...Two..." Then, Ryouko flipped the blade into an underhanded grip. "One."

The automaton moved at a respectable speed, with a double edged claymore. Ryouko stepped to the side and brought the blade he held up, spinning it into a forwards grip to gain momentum as he knocked the blade back up. He then stepped in, before he slammed his fist into the metal. Though it hurt, he took it much like the robot. Painlessly. As the robot stumbled backwards, clanking, Ryouko slid his left foot forwards, holding his blade at neck height in his right hand as he let his left hand drop to his side.

"I am considering a bladed weapon. But I am still worried that my wings would be in the way." Katherin explained. She saw some bows. Would something like that eork. She wasn't sure. But it was something to think about. She wasn't willing to try yet but she was considering her options.

Kiiros was arguing with the guards. "Well why can't I just hold a knife!?" "As if we'd trust you with one after you bolted for the weapons without warning!" "I already told you I simply got too excited okay!? I wasn't thinking!" "Given your behaviour here, I highly doubt we'll even let you out on the practice mission!" Kiiros was seething such rage "OH COME ON! Why'd you even bring me to the armoury if you weren't gonna let me touch the weapons!? How come THEY get to hold them, let alone USE them, but you won't let me so much as pick up a stick!" he was pointing to Jen and Veronica, glaring daggers at the guard. "Until your behaviour is determined stable, YOU WILL REMAIN IN THIS FACILITY AND YOU WILL DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD! Is that understood!?" Kiiros was really losing his nerve now, an aura of fire was beginning to form around him. The guard along with others keeping an eye on him immediately trained their weapons at him. "Don't you DARE even THINK about it!" after a moment of him growling like some feral animal, the aura receded and Kiiros began to try and calm himself down with agonizing effort. 'Calm down, breathe Kiiros, think rationally. These guys are SERIOUS FUCKING ASSHOLES....' he took a deep breath. 'But remember... that not everything... can go your way.' he eventually settled down, giving a look that could kill if possible, but otherwise 'calm'. "Why don't you go 'socialize' with your 'buddies' now huh?" the guard lowered his weapon, the others eventually doing so too with hesitation, before he exited the room to return to his work he was dragged from when a guard told him to come down and help deal with Kiiros' tantrum.

Ryouko heard Kiiros and paused, before he slammed the flat of his blade into the automaton's off button, sending it crashing into the wall. He walked back into the main armory, towards Kiiros, before he sheathed the long blade and offered his hand to him. 'Kiiros doesn't seem that bad to me. Just hotheaded. Who can blame him?' He thought to himself.

Ryouko then spoke to Kiiros. "Here. Let me help you up. You can grab that knife and come practice with me. If they want to stop you, I'll take responsibility for what happens next."
