Well I'm going with a Xross wars setting style in world creation.

Meaning several different 'Area's' excist within the world usually specifically created for one purpose or type. New areas can be accessed through gates which link the digital world since nobody 'directly' own them.

The Tone will be a Cram topped choco-latte that's shaken and not stirred.

There will be cream.
There will be chocolate.
There will be milk.
There will be sugar.
And then ther will be the Darkness that still remains in the Coffee.

So yeah.

The theme will be inspired by the first series. All humans are put on a buss supposedly going to a youth camp, however the buss takes a little
'Digital' detour, meaning nobody in theory will miss you while your gone for quite a while.

Hopefully that do sound more reassuring than my 'The Dm is out to kill everyone' settign *Grins*... oh did I say that loud?

First and foremost, I'm not looking for a killer DM. I could be that myself if I wanted. Also, you lost me on tone, and I think everyone, such as @Natsu and @Windicator should agree on these things.

But seriously, if you've got it in your head that willy-nilly no reason killing of the party is something you want to do, then I would have to seriously ask you to consider stepping down as DM and letting someone else take over.

Well not sure what answer you were looking for on the Tone.

And like I said, the setting will be kinda like Xross wars with some changes.

And no, I am not out to kill people exclusivly xD... I was kidding around.

Truth be told however. You probably should be Gm yourself for your own created Rp. After all its easier for you to find a balance in your own system if you know exactly how you made them in the first place.

Tossing the Reins to someone else in the first place is pretty much like saying... Here... handle this I will look on to see how it goes.

@IatosWhole point of this thread was to get feedback from other DM's/GM's on the system, so they could tell me what else needs to be in the doc that I just have in my head, and generally how it handles compared to "professionally published" RPG systems. Plus I'll be playing it myself, so I'd rather not have some inane bull**it be brought up from something insignificant someone did or didn't do to make them drop dead, or dropping a massive disaster or monster on the party that they couldn't possibly win. That's just poor storytelling. I mean, personally, I'm fine with my character doing poorly, being weak, or the Digimon being defeated, or the human somewhat endangered, but I doubt a whole group, in a situation about collaborative story telling and adventure, myself included, would enjoy having their character(s) die for no better reason than the DM felt like it. Like, I might understand if a friend said they had an idea for a hard campaign, and the other friends are okay with it because they know into what they'd be getting, but for people who have essentially just met, not cool. Unless you want to start appearing like a backstabber to a portion of a roleplaying community. Because I'm sure that's a reputation you want. (Because unless you make your own interest check and clearly state that there's a 90% chance a character will die, it could very well look that way.)
Sorry if that's a bit harsh but there's truth to it.
@Aurrorian I was under the impression you wouldn't be taking part. Has that changed?

I may be wrong saying this but I believe @tobiax has been running an RP under this system already (and I believe still will) and as such, I can see him wanting to get another DM/GM for this so he can know how others would run it and see it from the other side.

you lost me on tone, and I think everyone, such as @Natsu and @Windicator should agree on these things

I quiet like the tone of Cram topped choco-latte that's shaken and not stirred.

The killer DM might be off the list for a test run though. ( I know you said that you won't do it)

@Iatos@tobiax I'm pretty sure the worse that could seriously happen in an online tabletop RPG is raining internet cookies.

@Windicator Anyways I was getting confused by the track of the conversation, so I dropped out. How many DMs are we planning to have in the end?

@Iatos I didn't see that message because I wasn't using a computer when I checked, and I thus only saw the latter of the double post.
@Aurrorian I don't understand that remark completely.
Also, only looking for one DM, just trying to make sure we would have a good one.
@Windicator You are correct.

So is there some bit of the plot that you can tell the players?
And are you expecting it to be comical, serious, lighthearted? That's what I mean by tone. Not sure what that other stuff you said was.

Well into is simple enough. Youths getting on a buss to summer camp. But the buss takes a digital detour.

And the digital world are split into areas separated by gates between the different worlds. Like Xross wars. But each area have its own keeper/s. Their own theme and will require different skills.

But I expect it to be mixed. Comedy, adventure, more serious parts, horror. Happy go lucky areas... Basically the tone change with each area.

Well it just happens that that is how I currently view the Digital world to be.

A place of ever changing rules, with different places and dimensions existing and not always co-excising.

And if you plan to pack for a Digital journey... you better bring your Sweish army pole-axe, your best running shoes, and be ready for whatever it may throw at you.

Perhaps an OOC thread should be in order, before I drop this out of impatience with all the GM nitpicking.
