Yeaaaaahhh... on behalf of everyone here, I'm adding a new rule:

-Anyone writing their characters urinating, defacating, or performing similarly disgusting acts 'on-screen' automatically forfeits their next match. Anyone who attempts to exploit loopholes in this rule will suffer the same penalty.

Also, it seems that Fallenreaper's character will be joining the contestants. First matchups coming soon :)

- Fights will take place in separate threads, to be created when contestants are ready. Either fighter can start the thread, or I can begin them if needs be. Fight threads should contain "Black Mountain Tournament" or something similar in the title.

- All arenas listed in the opening post of the OOC are available. Fighters may agree on an arena between them, or I can randomly assign them one to each battle.

- All fight threads must be started within a week.

- February 10th is the end of round 1. Any fights not finished by then will be judged as is.

I'll do my best to answer any other questions you have! Hope you all have fun, and write some tense and epic fights :)

Alright, I'll get to that asap and interesting choices. This seems like it will be a fun match up. I sort of wished I had gotten my Intro for Trixi up first but meh, I'll work on that soon. Also, it doesn't seem to state who's at which arena... are they assigned or do we pick them, or what?

I'm not picky really however, depends on how @Drifting Pollen answers my question I rather let the Tourney runner pick the arena so there's no lingering doubt that the thread starter chose one arena fitting to their PC best.

Do you want to make the thread or should I? Considering our character skill-sets I'm not sure any particular arena will benefit either of us more than the other, so I'm not too worried if it's not randomized. (Though I would recommend it in future, it's usually best if all matches have a randomised arena chosen by the host)

I don't know... there's a lot of fun things I can do with at least two of those arenas due to the nature of Trixi's electricity, which none your PC will like. :p

They should be considered Ranked, and I've been in touch with Skalla and Rilla about judging them... on the other hand, if a pair of opponents would rather not have a ranked match, then they're free to forgo that part!

As for Gonad... I basically picked a few seeds, then stuck them in an online tourney thingy and that was what it spat out. Someone had to fight him :P

I'm a tad busy, so feel free to make the thread yourself. Personally I figured Pollen would make them all.

Iolanthe is taking her sweet time climbing up the mountain, so it would be more logical if Sigurd arrived first.

At the widest part of the stream, where the bridge is, how wide is it?

What are the bridges made out of? What's the average radius of the trees?

The stream is about ten feet wide at its widest, which is where the bridges cross.

The bridges are basically tree trunks, cut down and laid across the stream. Tree radius should be around 0.75 feet on average (this is for the bottom of the trunk, above the roots). Bridges will have a similar radius.

Ranked or not? I personally I've never played a Rank one as I've never gotten a none ranked one done. Latest one was the closest one I ever came, save a pm one, and so it wouldn't really make much of a difference to me. Namely as the losses still give me experience after all to learn from and the points, honestly doesn't even serve well for bragging rights in this section.

Also, I suggest we put all the details, including gained ones, and image of the arena up into the OoC OP which we can likely add to it as we learn more. This would likely help out any contestants who use the arena in the future as well as make it a one stop post for us to re visualize the playing field without looking all over this OoC for it or risk missing them. I hate, personally, hunting for needles in a haystack.

Last thing: if you've not got it up by morning tomorrow my time which it's almost 5 pm now, I'll get it started and up around 12pm my time at latest.
