IBANs have proven not to be annoying enough. Let's kill both metric and imperial systems by expressing everything in Planck units.

Bio

Welcome to my profile page!

Who the hell is this person behind those many miles of fiber optics and copper cable ?

  • I'm a 34 year old guy.
  • ... who's working as a software developer
  • ... and enjoys roleplaying as a casual hobby to distract himself from ongoing stress

And into which hell will I descend with you participating in one of my roleplays?

  • I'm a fantasy addict: medieval high and low!
  • I'd consider myself to be a low casual roleplayer, 3 paragraphs per post on average.
  • My schedule varies. It might happen that I won't be able to post at all for a week, but then again it might happen that I'll reach a sweet spot inside which I can go on a posting rampage. I'd say one can expect 1-2 posts a week from me, depending on the lengths involved.
  • English is not my native language, but so far I've not encountered anyone who had had trouble with me over that :)

Want to RP with me ? Shoot me a PM, but don't shoot me!

Thanks for visiting!

Are you sure that this kind of announcement doesn't inherit the danger of Poo secretly upgrading his plans for the dragon from... well... a dragon.. to a dragon with extremely reflective scales that also exhibit a catseye microstructure ? Your fully automatic laser crossbow could backfire :o

Make a post about you telling the guards you are looking to join the Mercenary Guild, and then have them escort you through the paved stone streets, and then you'll see the Captain of the Guild waiting up front.

I hope what I've done was okay.
Othiosiya felt the stares of people as he walked along the streets. Each time one of the many passer-bys turned his head to keep track of him with his eyes it was like a small needle inserted into his back. It was so in spite of the fact that the Drabarian was wearing almost his entire armor, the only exception being the helmet which he just found inadequate to wear in the civil public. Still the root cause of his little problem very well could be just that large amount of steel covering his body. While one could hardly consider it unusual to see an armored individual in general, in his case it seemed like it was. It could have something to do with the fact that each of his steps sounded as if a small giant had found his way into Starkvale. Othiosiya tried to keep the clanking to a minimum, but real success with that was nowhere to be heard.

It wasn't surprising then that he caught the attention of one of the city's guards before it had come to his mind to address them by himself. A sternly looking man came towards him and blocked his way, forcing Othiosiya to crane his neck down to his face and answer his questions immediately.
"What are you looking for, Drabarian ?"
Always those ulterior motives. Why didn't the guard directly ask for the pieces of parchment or whatever else was needed here to make clear that his presence wasn't something illegal ? Othiosiya forced himself to remain patient and polite. "I'm looking for the Mercenary Guild. I've been told such a thing exists in this city."
"That's right. Do you want to join or what is the purpose of your desire to go there ?"
"You can consider your first guess to be correct. However I'm wondering why this is of so much concern for you ?" The Drabarian arched an eyebrow, but even his long and sharp teeth failed to make much of an impression.
"Regulations. You can go there, of course. However someone will escort you." The guard gave a sign with is hand, signaling one of his colleagues to take over.

The other man didn't look anywhere less small compared to Othiosiya and one could get the impression that he was keeping a bit of a distance from the wants-to-be mercenary. After all Othiosiya could suffer from a sudden feeling of faintness, fall and bury him beneath his body and hard shell. Or he could just do a wrong move by accident and crush his foot. Moving rather slow it took several more minutes for the guild hall to come in sight. Someone was standing there and appeared to wait for something to happen, but of course the Drabarian had no idea that it was the captain. The guard departed and gave Kayden his salute while leaving Othiosiya to his own intentions. In a somewhat respectful distance, the giant Drabarian waited. He wasn't sure if it could be inadequate for him to come closer to the captain directly.

Damn it! Due to his half-elvish part he probably should have known better, but the capability and will of those elvish steeds to stop so ferociously caught An-Hasst by surprise. The violent move almost threw him off the animal's back, but the Skayleigh managed to maintain some amount of grace as he jumped by himself before it became uncontrollable. He stomped onto the ground facing towards the forest they had just left behind -- or merely the conspicuously sharp gradient in the local vegetation's density they had just encountered one should say. What did his half-countrymen think ? Why did they allow them to only go that far on their steeds ? It was a bit of a disappointment, honestly.

Still even he could see that there was no point in rambling about that, so what the half-giant did was to turn around. One of the last things on his list of expectations was yet another woman who just happened to be there. Instantly and probably lacking any noticeable amount of decency, the Skayleigh started inspecting her. A human as it appeared. Marguerite's rather hungry looking figure consumed several seconds of An-Hasst's attention before he finally noticed that she was wielding a dagger.

The Skayleigh approached her, but kept out of what he suspected to be her immediate range with that weapon. "If you don't want to be hurt then I suggest that you stop trying to generate the impression that you want to do the same thing. None of us has drawn any weapon so far, but you have." In a more or less subtle effort of not allowing the priest Settionne to make first contact again, An-Hasst quickly continued with asking questions. "So... who are you and what are you doing here, if I may ask ?" Well... out of his mouth those last four words didn't sound like a perfectly polite request.

Oh my god my friend just sent me the best thing

All things considered I'd currently say that I'm not in danger of suffering from the optimism disease. Still I'll try to make a post now.
I'd like to, but I'm psychologically so down at the moment and doubt it'll be over anytime soon.
Alright. My cinnamon roll is on the move again!
Vaughtar

To say that Vaughtar was super happy would have been a bit of an overstatement. The gargoyle had sought refuge in the gym as it was one of the very few places aboard this strange, incredible steel monster they all were living in that allowed him to not feel entirely squeezed and cramped.

However, if he had known that Rozalind would choose this location for letting go of her steam he'd probably have preferred another spot. Unconsciously the gargoyle pushed the claws running along his feet into the hall floor which was soft compared to the steel gratings that littered the entire vehicle.

Then Vaughtar couldn't stand it anymore. One part of him to turn around and leave immediately no matter how cowardly that might look like, another part wanted him to address Rozalind directly and with as muc cleverness as he could muster no matter the risk of losing this game. Ultimately it was this part that slipped through first.

"Ahem..." The gargoyle raised his unmistakable rumble of a voice. "For what should we be prepared ?"

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I was thinking "Shower scene? Oh gods, this really is turning into an anime!!!"

I'm not even watching any animes, so I'm not completely aware of what you are talking about xD
However I think I have still understood the intricacies of your bottom-half-trap.

And... oh god what chain reaction I've set off here!

Back to topic: It might very well be that my IC post becomes delayed until the start of the weekend. I'm currently very busy in my job so I'm coming home very lately on a rather regular basis. Unfortunately writing decent IC posts while on phone in a moving commuter train is not exactly comfortable so I don't even try that for longer posts.
I see one problem here. Since it is a dragon there probably won't be any trees or leaves left to accidentally cover a certain area of our characters' skins so to leave a spot of RP-friendly weakness there. However maybe all of the male characters will refuse to wash certain areas with it because it would reveal to everyone how tiny... Oh dear I've trapped into the same 'lower half' trap like TFF!
