Hale took a minute to scroll through the mission details once more upon hearing the name Donovon Mars. Her eyes gaze at Yazmin and back at the name. A small look of concern flashes before she puts the tablet aside and faces Yazmin directly.

“Technically, no.” She responses, “But, as I said, I’m not out on the mission with you four. Use your judgement and worse come to worse ask Aura on a call to make.” Hale gives a small smile before returning to the tablet and walking toward the computer.

Whatever the rest of the team decides to do from the morning onward, they do so to the fullest. Commander Hale, as the time approaches for the team's departure, sends the rest of the crew she had with her in the room out to check on another team that should be making their return. Once left alone in the room, she goes to the computer and types in a few codes. A screen appears from the middle of the table that engineers were working and with another press of a button, the room slowly sealed itself off for privacy. For this conversation, she needed complete privacy.

Upon the screen, a flicker waves through and an image of a young looking man appears. Despite his appearance, it did not reflect his age. Most thought him to be 39 but that is a unconfirmed rumor. The man that sits before Commander Hale as she stands at attention is Fadio Ginsburg, leader of the Ordo Sanctus.

“Good evening, my lord”

“It is indeed a good evening, Commander.” His voice is booming yet smooth. Even through the speakers Hale could feel her body tense up more than normal. “Has “Without a Trace” begun?”

“No, my lord. But they are preparing to leave soon. I have full faith in their abilities to complete this task.”

A smile could be seen as Fadio brushes the hair from his face, revealing some very familiar eyes. “Very good. I know you chose the right people for the operation. Upon news of their success, i expect a full report. Our next step hinges on the information that they find.”

“My lord, some of the men under my charge have heard rumors of something big coming from the UNF side. Is that why we’re moving in such haste?”

“You are correct, Commander.” He pauses, putting his fingers to his chin, stroking as he continues. “ The fact that such news has made it down to your level means there may be some truth to those rumors. This “Verse”” He pauses again before look back at Hale. “This may change the tide of the coming war.”

“The coming war” Hale repeats. “Are we ready for that? We lost… we lost so many so far in other areas of Priscus.”

“Hold your head up high, Commander. We will be ready. It is the UNF who sit upon their laurels. They do expect us to act. They expect us to fear when in fact, they are the ones who are feeling that emotion. Take advantage of that. However the war is another night. Tonight, there is only the mission.”

“Yes, my lord. Only the mission”

“Excellent. Continue with your debriefing.”

The debriefing continued onward until the evening approaches.

Aura’s team had a lot to prepare for but prepare they did. With the addition of Jay, the chances of success are a lot higher than before but they cannot afford to let that get to them. With Aura’s plan mapped out, the engineers went out to make sure the Valkinai’s were ready for launch and ready to engage in combat. Weapons were provided to the soldiers but very limited ammo. The time slowly approaches and the team should be assembling soon enough

"But I'm sure you'd go back to your cup noodles if it meant that you can get a few more hours of gaming in,"

"You speak the truth, Keira!" He laughs. "However, I got yelled at when I missed breakfast for 3 weeks in a row." Cayde grimaces slightly as if remembering a bad time in the pass. If you look closely enough, you could see the chills run down his spine.

Despite the look of discontent, his eyes dart back over to Keira to make sure she's okay. From the looks of it, the mini game is completed. Successfully hid what REALLY is going on with his friend. Whew! That was a close one. Nice recovery, Cayde~ Wait, i'm suppose to type that in "quotes" Type the thing, Cayde! "Nice recovery~" Hold on! The Italics! Don't forget the Italics! "... Nice recovery?" Perfect! "..."

Just as the stomach grumbles, the new-comer enters the fray that is the kitchen dining area. He gives him a nod, a two finger salute and a simple "Yo", before returning his gaze to the kitchen.

"Not gonna lie," He starts "Kinda hungry here ..." It appears he is starting to think with his stomach more so than his mind.

Roland, in Gregory’s presence, naturally stiffens up and straightens his posture. Not only did the way Gregory carried himself to be very strong but also intimidating. He only heard tales of the Captain but as far as he could tell, they did not do the real deal justice. Eyeing his sword and his arm and his eye. Honestly, for a moment, it became difficult to find a place to focus on.

“Yes sir!” Roland responds properly, “We definitely have what you need to make that happen. As for the package, honestly,” He trails off into a whisper, getting a bit closer to the Captain. “If it were up to me, we’d fly it over but we don't have that type of aircraft here.” He backs away, placing his hand on his hip, just above where his cybernetic wrench is hooked to. “Most of them, honestly, are either too small for the load or waaay too big.” He starts speaking with his hands as he turns to pick up his large bag.

If you didn't know any better, you would think Roland is going on a camping trip but every pocket, sleeve and compartment in that bag held a special piece of tech. After engaging with the Captain, he turns his attention to the one introduced as Kevin.

He gives a smile to him before speaking, "Nice to meet you, Kevin. You must be on the new side. You got the look of a Mech head, like me but you’re with Alpha so you gotta be a pilot. That’s a hell of a talent, i’m envious~” Roland spoke a lot more causally with Kevin and people would notice right away. “I’m sure the VIP” He emphasizes VIP as he speaks “wouldn’t mind a chat or two." He quickly recomposes himself since he’s in the presence of a senior officer.

He turns to John and nods to him. “Right, that shouldn’t be a-"

Midway through his sentence, an older man with round glasses standing tall, proper and a large pack on his back, similar to Roland’s, exits the point taking in the situation. He spots Alpha team and Roland, not able to hold back a sigh. “Roland, my boy, you simply speak too much to my liking.”

Unconsciously, he gulps, “Sorry, Professor”

“That’s quite alright! Go get the cart, we’re on a tight schedule!”

The man before them is Professor Valkinai. If his picture was not in the mission details, you would not be able tell that he was all that important. A seemingly normally look senior that appears far younger than his age to the untrained eye. However, his hand were rough and coarse. Scars along the fingers and backs of his hand as he held onto the straps of his pack. The professor was, clearly, a working man who did not sit on his laurels.

He sizes up Gregory and can’t contain a smile. “That’s impressive work! You must be Captain Gregory Fietmaal. I feel a lot safer with you around.” He extends his hand out to him, proudly.

As this happens, Roland returns from the point pushing a large cart, completely covered in plate like armor, toward a van that sat nearby. From the grunts and sounds of struggle whatever is in there is heavy. The van appears normal, as explained, but inside is something altogether different. You would have to get closer to see but even from the distant, you could see signs of higher levels of technology.
