Okay I'm back from the drawing board!

The OP makes mention of magical weapons known as Arcs that are beyond expensive and desireable and what not. Does this mean the mere presence of magical ability is also extremely rare? Essentially, is magic a viable form of combat for a sin to practice? If this question is answered somewhere and I'm just an idiot who can't read right when he's tired, I apologize, and let me know so I can feel apropriately stupid.

I may or may not be thinking of making the Sin of Sloth a wraith/spirit of some sort who's a super wizard. Better to ask before I end up writing a sheet for it.
@Sloth I'd hate to be that guy, but it was specified that the seven Sins were great warriors who was blasted and cursed by the White God personally. Don't bully me pls. ;w;

His curse is that he can't die.

Ohoho!

But no, really. Back to the drawing board. Thanks mate.
Okay guys but follow me on this, and believe me when I say this is a very stupid idea that I made partially because I'm tired and I think it'd cause at least a little bit of humor.

What if......the Sin of Sloth was a ghost that was so lazy he didn't move on to the next life or what have you?

His power could be intangibility. Because he's a ghost.

It works if you squint hard enough and don't ask questions.
Sloth is true Sloth. Or Diligence for plot twist.

The Seven Deadly Sins? Why, they're just the Seven Heavenly Virtues with the added benefit of blackjack and hookers.

If that's a real thing I swear I didn't know.
Hey.

Blame @Gowi.

I'm sure I'll end up doing something. May or may not be related to the sins because my word lots of Sloths in here.

To the thinking chamber!
After talking with my co-gms, we decided not to accept any leprechaun heritage as Leprechauns are categorized as "beasts" in Harry Potter lore and not "beings."

Damn them for being sentient and capable of speech but not bothering with the ministry! Granted I guess it'd be pretty hard for something six inches tall to reproduce with a human.

As for kneazles, I'm inclined to turn that down too because it's not really that plausible as they are rather dangerous to other wizards and a young kid probably couldn't tame one. However, in Salem Witches' Institute, there are a lot looser terms on what you can have as pets: eagles, hawks, cats, some dogs, most rodents, and some reptiles within reason (nonpoisonous snakes, toads, etc. etc.) are allowed ^-^.

The dream of using a Kneazle in a three card monte, dashed!

Yes, positions can be filled - and the list of already taken spots are under the character tab - and its to mine, and the other gms, discretion if the character is right for the position or not. Most of the time, it will be whoever gets accepted first - but not always.

Good to know. If anyone tries to be a Quidditch Captain before me I'll fight them.

But yeah, I'll get started on....something.
I feel I should ask a couple simple questions before I get seriously started on my character, so, here goes.

The only major question I have is whether or not a Half-Breed, specifically the product of a Leprechaun and a Squib, would be acceptable as a player character. It's a concept I've always wanted to try and just never gotten a long enough run to do so. Granted I'd probably have to switch him from an Irish kid in Hufflepuff to...a kid from Boston in Tituba? Hmm.

As for minor things, while I know a person requires a license to handle a Kneazle, would it be possible to have one as a familiar since first year if said character passed off a Kneazle kitten as a regular cat and got the license in later years? If not, I understand and can just as easily have him acquire a Kneazle at a later date rather than as an admittance present from a mostly absentee father.

Final question: I know I should probably wait for more information to be added into the OP but I can't help myself (if the answer to this question is edited in, boy, will I look silly.) are there any specifics regarding whether or not it's kosher to fill up positions such as Captains of various House Quidditch teams, Head Boy, etc? I apologize if the answers to any of these have been answered and I just haven't read stuff recently enough to know, in which case, feel free to call me an idiot.

I just want to be a lazy good for nothing Half-Leprechaun using his Kneazle to scam unsuspecting first years, dammit.
I'll put down some tentative interest depending on how much time I've got on my hands in the coming weeks/months.

Otherwise I'll just continue lurking in the shadows.
I'll probably switch my character around to be the guard of the Targaryens so I can post.

I thought they had the Kingsguard for that.

I'm joking plz post.
WIP for Harlaws, will work on upon finishing Hightower.

Does this mean I have to do....

joking not joking.
