Got more work today. Loving the conversation going on here. To add to it, I didn't go to my prom.Yeah yeah, poor me, I know XD. The thing is, I wasn't nearly as cool as I am now back then, so I had no one to go with lol. Hope you peoples enjoy yours that are going (unless I misread and no one is going XDDD). In any case, I'll see ya'll when I get off. And I also hope to see some IC posts soon too. Finally... Destiny is freakin' amazing. I didn't give a shit before, but after playing the Alpha for a while, this is a must-have game if you liked Halo (HA, Puns XDD) or any other shooter game.

Luckily our Prom isn't really a "date" thing - even people who're already together don't go together. Although I suppose there are a couple of people I could have asked if it were, if it were that sort of event I wouldn't have attended on principle. *shrugs* I don't blame you for not wanting to go. And I am, unfortunately, going, so I will do my best to enjoy it.

How'd you get in on the alpha? I didn't realise it was out yet! Apparently it's a bit too Borderlands-esque? :/

Enjoy work :P and I will hopefully be able to IC post tomorrow morning assuming I'm not all of the hungover.

@Nines and Halo: I think what did it for me was Amanda Seyfried. Because I had sung the role before and had seen the musicale performed in a theater, listening to her sing was like listening to nails against a chalkboard. Whenver she sang her Bb5 and C6, it just made me cringe. And her acting wasn't spectacular either... acting Cosette is difficult because you have to convince the audience that you totally love this dude you had just looked at. The audience basically sees you as a MAN STEALER, and it's hard to win over their hearts when Eponine has "On My Own" and also dies in her love's arms. BUT Eponine is also shown as a jealous liar, so I guess both women are even.

I totally agree with you guys though on the acting. Jackman and Crowe did an excellent job, as did Hathaway. And MY GOSH, during "I Dreamed a Dream" and "A Little Drop of Rain," I BAWLED like CRAZY. It was just so raw for me.

You had to sign up for registration on the day of E3 all the way through the 12th. Everyone who signed up got an Alpha code lol. The Alpha only lasts until Sunday though, but still, the game is fucking good. I can't even believe it. I'm gonna pre-order it today and see if I can't get a beta code still. It's not really like Borderlands either, That's saying something for me because I hated Borderlands.

Jeeze, so much to read. But yeah, "A Little Drop of Rain" NEVER EVER fails to make me sob like a baby. It's a curse.

Gosh darn it kids I look away for one minute and now there's all these posts and what not. In my day, we didn't have your fancy computers or internet. Our social media was going out and beating up a minority group like the good old days!

On that note, I feel so uncultured now since I've only gotten about 1/10th of the media you guys have referenced. XD For what it's worth, though, I can say that I myself love british accents and really almost any accent. And I'm certainly boisterous.

And I did understand the Ted reference. Yay!

PFFFFF no. Even if she wasn't incredibly more hot AND rich AND socially acceptable, she wins Best Girl for the simple reason that Eponine has no claim on him. He's a free man- I don't think they were ever actually an item, and even if they were it is OK to stop liking someone (/start liking someone else).

That's not to say I didn't feel sorry for eponine; her character is incredibly pitiful. Just, that has no affect on my opinion of the other girl. It's not like she intended to 'steal' him.

TLDR: BLONDS ARE JUST BETTER OK

EDIT: also poor girl probably stank. Like awful.
