Though it's like he's a different person, as he roleplays as a tough-as-nails person. As Beater, he likes a good challenge so long as it's not to the death. In real life, it's about the same. It's a coping mechanism of dealing with bullies. If he shows no emotion, people get tired of picking on him and leave him alone. He'd rather not be around people and finds it hard to relate and make friends since he attributes everyone as bullies who will only end up hurting him in the end.
