I've found a language mixer on an RP/Writing site that I'm using to create Goblinish words for Jin.

The term she used for the flower translates to 'White Bell'.

I can give you the generator or the site if you want. It's fun to mess around in, to create details for minor things, like this elf town they're headed to.

Jin has a different sense of... er... *frowns* I'm not sure of the exact word, but basically a knowledge of what's supposed to be covered up and what isn't. It's not really embarrassing for her.

BTW, Jin has a pair of ritual scars on her stomach, one on each side of her bellybutton. I'll find you some pictures tomorrow, for now, I'm gonna sleep.

How long have they been traveling? I'm thinking it's several hours- like between five or ten. For a forest to become a desert, there's got to be a good distance between them.

Well it's been about a day or two, since they first traveled at the break of dawn when they escaped, it took them about an hour to go through the forest and rest at the cave for the rest of the day. then it took them a day to travel the desert. I have an explanation for everything. If you want me to explain it then I can, or I can do it through story.

*nod* Through story, please. I have trouble gauging time in RPs if it's not specifically stated.

Also- a forest amid a desert? It'd be all palm trees and cactus. Unless it's some kind of magical oasis with completely different properties?

*nod* Jin would come from that mountain area... She's not used to anything like a desert, and I know she's never seen the ocean. In fact, I'm not entirely sure that she knows how to swim.

So what kind of forest is it, in the desert? Because it's sort of interesting me.

It's a rather primal forest, being that elves are the only sentient species living there. small bugs like say spiders or wasps are the size of small dogs and sometimes bigger. Along with the massive creatures, It has large lakes and giant fruits and such.
