If I can decide upon a villain I might use one as a secondary character if it's allowed. Or just use an OC villain, but that's a last resort. XD

I was thinking for the melting pot to create an original setting for all the characters to reside in while keeping backstories intact as much as possible. This would explain why characters from different countries or cities can be in one general area for the RP. What do you think? And is there suggestions on what this setting would intell?

Having all the characters reside in the same place would be convinient. I can't think of any specific canons where not being in the place where they live in-canon would mess things up. This way, all the different characters have easy access to each other.

How about some sort of Crisis-type event? Something and/or someone is screwing with the fabric of the multiverse or whatever, and worlds are leaking into one another. This cosmic bullfuckery causes previously dead canon characters to come back to life, in case someone wants that sort of explanation. The OCs would have their own little world/universe while the canon universes would have their own, obviously. The OC universe has something to do with this crisis, which is why various characters are all crossing over there.

If it's too OC-centric for you, you can simply re-tweak it if you want to use this idea.

Tokyo's always good, it IS the centre of the universe after all.

Although, if I go with that villain idea, she'd probably be based in a UFO somewhere above Tokyo (clearly they don't want to go conquer any other parts of the planet until after they've dealt with the pesky magical girls that keep messing with their invasion plans), but um, yeah.

Um, I like the melting pot setting idea if it's do-able, since it seems closest to the sort of Super Robot Wars style setting and feel that would be really really cool. Um, I know there are so so so many already, but would it still be okay if I played a male OC like I asked at the beginning? >.<

...Lina's a mage, not a magical girl. And from a purely fantasy setting, so she might be a lot more difficult to fit in than most other characters anyways. ...Also that translation of the Dragon Slave chant is... Not like any I've heard before. ^^;

I have to agree with Rin, she'd be hard to accommodate into the setting and she's not strictly a magical girl despite being in that magical girl doujin game. An AU Magical Girl Lina would be fine, if you want to go that route, but otherwise I'm probably gonna have to say no as much as I would love to have Lina around.

It's a close approximation of Romaji to English. With the Alteration of Dragon Slave as it is commonly known as
The Last is argued to be possibly Drag Slave or Drug Slave but the argument is still out
I could have posted Giga Slave instead but thought to go traditional as Dragon slave is the more well known

This is actually a pretty darn solid idea. That way those who want to play OC's can play OC's and the others can pick and choose from the characters and canon antagonists without that big of a hassle, at least in my opinion.

Oh and I only intended Lina as a little spoof, her abilities are too Goddess like when you think about it and I prefer OCs because Canon Character never measure up to their true selves in my observation
