I've been thinking this for a few months: doesn't it seem to you that world politics are becoming almost as crazy as PoW? The power play in Ukraine or the proclamation of the Caliphate appear to come right out of our twisted mind. Putin used exactly the same justification as I did when Persia invaded Arabia, c'mon!

This is the continuation of the same RP by the same people. Many of the core members - Vilage, Googer, and myself - are veterans of the Sporum. In a way, this RP has been chugging along non-step for... Fuck, three years?

I sort of drifted back to the place a while ago and nearly was taken back at how little the place changed. Everyone's still bitching about Sharples and "anti-Sporums" and Spore 2. It got to the point I ranted, which then summoned Slime and I was put back on BB's ban-go-round.

Yeah, I got thrown onto the ban-go-round too. Meh, that place was a shithole and wasn't growing much if at all anyways, there wasn't much of a point in staying there.

To be honest I'll drift over there to look over Rebecca's Galactic Adventures LP thread. I'll log on to comment, like when she was mulling over "scare cams" and none of the propositions were actually ever constructive to do it. So I felt I had to swing in there like a ton of bricks to just break the proposal and steer her away from doing something stupid with it.

I then got bored and went up to General Discussion.

BlackBird's long sense left, but Slime is still there. I'm in contact with Slyth on a semi-regular basis so I can confirm he's given up.

MCF basically followed the GoT plot. It was ruled by the Preciprick kings. They weren't the nicest kings, sure, but the realm prospered. Then they were overthrown, I lost my hand, and the usurper kings took over. Now the realm is ruled by some fat, drunk guy who doesn't know the first thing about ruling a kingdom.

Also, I posted in IC by accident. First time that has happened, but it was bound to. That's what happens when you open up the thread assuming it's going to put you in the OOC section of it.
