Just asking if it's okay to work this magi power out. Summoning creatures from her sketchbook to fight for her?

Unfortunately, that's not quite where I'm going for the magitech in this setting.

Examples of the other characters include generating large magical barriers or generating lasers of magic independent from their MagiGear(though currently MagiGear is needed to actually allow magic usage, this just means it's not the weapon or any direct function of the gear).

Maybe she can make constructs that fight with or for her?

I'm guessing you'd prefer an inventor verses the artisty type?

Oh, the character type doesn't matter as long as they don't massively jar with the setting. ^^; It's the power, that's all.
