Ahem.

Do you mind if I end my post with Katniss hugging Prim after she killed it? I don't wanna get too ahead so I'll let you depict how the killing went down. I assume in your post, we can have them cooking by the campfire, Katniss glaring at Haymitch and praising her sister because Katniss is so proud and knows how to mentor someone properly and she'd gush over Gale teaching her and Haymitch would probably love a drink but he can't have one. And Gale could probably pull Haymitch off to the side in your post and we could have them talk and Katniss and Prim have their sisterly moment?

Yeah, sure. So, Prim becomes a vicious killer, Haymitch is forever grumpy and just a warning, he'll probably tell Gale to mind his damn business. It'll be good for Prim and Katniss to bond and have a little time together. I really like their relationship now :3 I didn't feel like they were exceptionally close in the books even though Katniss volunteered for her and all. It might just be due to Prim not being in the books as much as she should have been, though.

Yeah i figure Haymitch won't welcome Gale's speech. Oh well. For now they don't see each other as rivals. And yeah, it is nice to have Prim and Katniss close, you are right, the books did sort of mention their relationship but it still felt a little off or something. But maybe our Prim and Katniss are just that awesome? :3

No, not at all. Haymitch is probably going to have a little bit of a chip on his shoulder after that because it's like, he already stopped drinking to help Katniss and save Peeta, so he doesn't know what else everyone wants from him. He'll probably lighten up a little after Gale volunteers though, depending on his attitude. I think our Prim and Katniss are that awesome :3 I like sister relationships and I hardly ever get family stuff in RP's, so I'm getting my fix here.

Hah, Gale is like Katniss' father, of course Haymitch has to prove himself worthy of Katniss and her...erm...brooding I mean shining personality.

At least Katniss likes Gale, not sure how she'd like having him as a brother in law (potentially) but it could work?

You can start now or later, I'm not expecting one too soon. I do have at least one post to before hitting the hay...two or three if I'm generous but I'm not. So...

Hah Gale is older than 12. Gosh, we need to celebrate a birthday in this RP...Peeta's? Katniss and Prim would fail at baking a cake for him and he'd pretend to love it. I think Haymitch is just annoyed at all the fanboys for Katniss. And then enter Finnick who loves everyone. I don't doubt Prim will get a following in the Capital though. But with Katniss being protective, no one will get close *coughGalecough* I think we did want to have the pairs take before the Games, that night. I could see Katniss going to Gale but seeing Prim in his room, she'd probably go get a drink cause Haymitch ain't her friend. XD

I think family portraits might be a bit weird though. In a funny way.

When is his birthday? There's so many fluffy moments that I want to like, free RP in this and just have them exist for the fluff and not the writing ability. I think Haymitch is annoyed by everyone who thinks the Games are entertainment, haha. Prim will literally be so confused. Like, what? A following of what?? And yeah, we did, you're right. Haymitch will be mad if she's drinking because one, he's not allowed to anymore, and two, stop drinking Katniss, you little shit, you have a deadly competition to win.

I think his birthday is oct 11, so...we missed it. Or we can move it to like April since that might be before the Games. I dunno. We need fluff, cause we have tension and betrayal and blood and Snow and kidnapping. But people are taking the Games seriously, Haymtch! :/ Oh baby Prim, Katniss will protect your innocence, even from Gale. Muahaha. I bet Katniss would be even more deadly as a drunk lil shit and Haymitch can pout because he wanted to be the drunk in this RP. I'm still waiting for a screaming match between Katniss and Haymitch which ends up with them making out cause 'u so fiiiine when u angry unf' And of course Gale and Prim would be the exact opposite of that...holding hands and be adorbs. They will never be able to double date...

We could have it be the night before the Reaping, orrr during the week that they're in the Capitol? I think if we did it in the Capitol, Prim and Katniss might end up with a slightly more edible cake, haha. I imagine at one point Prim will have a fit and say she doesn't need to be protected anymore because she's a lot closer in age to Katniss and Gale this time around and she doesn't want to be treated like she's helpless. Yeaaaaah, that's how I think it's going to happen. They're going to be yelling and then making out. And aw, Prim would probably just hold his hand or lean on him because she's sweet and doesn't need to yell.

Peeta's birthday? It might be better a few days before. I bet Effie would want to throw a big party and invite everyone. Prim is say 16? Katniss would be let's say 18? Gale maybe 18 with Peeta turning 19? Does that sound right? Yeah Prim will need to make a stand on her own and Katniss might get offended since Katniss did sacrifice herself for Prim, pretty much. But Katniss, I don't think would bring it up to spite Prim in a fight...Gale does have a passionate temper but I don't think he'd wanna fight with Prim much, if at all. Let's just hope Katniss and Haymitch get better at apologies or being less porcupine-y.

I could see her doing that. It might be fun to have something good happen before the games, at least try to perk up everyone's spirits. Those ages sound about right to me. And yeah, I imagine Prim vs everyone will happen right before they escape the arena, so tensions will be higher when they realize Peeta isn't coming and their plan is pretty fucked. Then she'll have to make up with Katniss and she'll feel really awful for saying whatever because Katniss has done so much for her, and she still thinks she's personally responsible for Katniss being in the Games. Let's face is, Katniss and Haymitch are forever going to be butting heads, haha.

We do need to get Gale and Haymitch a golden thingy too since Prim will have one. Did we want Gale to do it right before we skip to the reaping, like in 2-3 posts? *nods* That sounds like a good plan to me. Once Katniss and Prim make up, they'll be a fierce female duo together. I'm sure the trek into the wilderness could be tense with the plan not working, maybe Katniss mad at Prim (until they make up) and maybe some sexual tension between Haymitch and Katniss and there's the fact they didn't know about the plan, well Haymitch slightly knew...and Katniss could be mad at everyone. Eeesh.

And then Finnick and Johanna could find them down the line I think, you wanted them to?

What golden thingy? A token? Whatever you think is best c: I like to be surprised. Once we get to the Reaping, I think this will flow a lot more naturally and we won't have to worry about whether or not we're pacing things correctly. I think Prim and Katniss will be stronger together after they make up, but man, Prim is going to feel awful. First she yelled at her sister and then she didn't tell her shit about the plan. She's going to be pretty low, especially after the plan goes belly up because then she'll be worried about Peeta as well. Haymitch and Katniss sexual tension is good. I imagine there will be some protective cuddling on that first night outside of the arena, even if Katniss is mad at Haymitch.

And yes, I think we agreed that they would meet up not long after escaping and then make their way through the districts in disguise back to 12? None of them are going to know about the bombing.

I figure Gale and Haymitch probably should have them too, a token yeah. Either way we do have some nice things planned, a lot of cute stuff before the crazy action begins in the arena. I think about 2 ish more posts and we can skip on to the reaping. I'll have Gale pull Prim aside in my next post or the one after, depending how things go but I think we're go so far in terms of pace and keeping each other in the loop,

I think if they wandered back to 12 since it was close, that would be pretty freaky, they could get some things and leave just before it hit?

Maybe Prim can give Gale something before the Reaping since he gave something to her? Or it would be kind of cute if his little sister gave him something when the family comes to say goodbye. As for Haymitch, I think I can come up with something sentimental from his mother that he took with him the first time. He might consider it lucky. And yep, that sounds good to me :3

I don't think they would have time for that. Every map I've seen on Panem has put the Capitol out west with 12 in various places along the east coast. If we wanted to include the bombing and still have them aim for 11 to connect with Rue's family while going through 4 for Finnick, they would get to 12 way after it was hit.
