Well Prim's gonna have to deal with your choices then because Gale doesn't really have infinite patience as shown before, he's probably going to give her space because Katniss probably has better luck with handling Prim in this situation. He did volunteer to keep her safe, he has to make sure he can have as much of an advantage as possible so if that means sucking up to Haymitch and learning all he can, so be it.

I dunno, I don't consider it godmoding since we already know what direction we want to go in, it's just saving time. It might be cool if you could take them to where they're getting cleaned up or about to go out in front of the public. But if it's too much for you, I understand, if you can rest up, you should.

I don't think she gets that it was for her, since she knew he was thinking about volunteering right after the quell announcement anyway. Either way, she thinks she's going to die, so she doesn't see much of a point in really trying to do much of anything about him anymore. I imagine once training comes around she'll throw herself into that, at least the mental part of it. And then the games. I still want her to have that fight with another tribute where she finally proves to herself that she's not a delicate flower and maybe she can get father than she thought. After that, she's pretty much there to help Katniss and that's something she and Haymitch will actually agree on.

I can do that uwu I've been looking forward to Haymitch being poked and prodded and waxed against his will, haha.

Gale did volunteer for Prim though, not to necessarily protect her but to keep her safe and to be with her and he's going to say that during his interview. He's going to say that he and Katniss are just friends and that he had Prim on his mind since he knew Katniss would be fine and would want to keep Prim safe, but it boils down to him wanting to spend more time with Prim because he'd miss her, and that even if he dies, he'd be glad to be around those he cares about...and maybe Haymitch. I figured we'd interview our own characters so I have most of what I want to get down, set aside already.

Yeah, she's not going to have a clue about that until he actually says it. She thinks she's got him figured out and then he does something different and she's back to wondering where she stands. It's going to be really bittersweet for them for a while because (in their minds) anyone could die at any time and the whole situation is really unfair. I'm fine with each of us interviewing our own characters, although I haven't thought about it very much yet. I know part of Prim's interview is going to be about Katniss. Haymitch is Haymitch, he's not going to have trouble talking and playing it up. How charismatic he still is might surprise everyone though.

I'm sure based on his interview, Katniss will confront him about how he feels about Prim, which will cause him to consider how valid his affinity for Prim really is. Gale already accepts his death, he thinks he can get far but he wanted Katniss and Prim to make it out alive. He'll probably put more faith into the plan and hang onto that hope, if there is any. Gale isn't very complicated, he's a simple boy who enjoy things as they are, without drama which is probably why he gets along with Katniss because she's so blunt but when things with Prim get unsettled, he really doesn't know what to do.

Watching Peeta's interview is interesting, he can be so charming as hell, but it just makes me wonder why he couldn't be that way around Katniss...I dunno before the Games? Maybe that could have changed things but I'm sure deep down Haymitch is pretty charming too, he did seem comfortable trying to recruit sponsors for Katniss. Nya~

Aw, Gale is just a simple wolf. If he goes on before her for the interview, she's going to be distracted during hers. I could see a sort of Katniss/Peeta thing happening with the viewers and Caesar as well and them thinking that Gale volunteering for Prim is sweet and romantic.

Maybe he got all derped up around her? I always saw it that he was really nice to her when he had the chance and she was just a cold fish because she didn't understand why he wanted to be with her. I think Haymitch is very much in his element with this, so Katniss and Peeta too probably will get to see a different side to him. After all, Haymitch got them more than a few gifts during the games and that takes some pretty intense people skills.

I ended up going to bed last night, but this is still the only thing I have to do :3 and my fingers don't hurt today, so I'm ready to get started!

Peeta will be mentioned in the interview so Katniss can explain why they had to break up and blame it on Snow calling them back into the Games. I'm not sure if I want Peeta to be brought out since he is a Mentor now but we'll see..since everyone loves Peeta. And he could reassure the public he does care about Katniss and wants to help her or her sister win, which could earn them more points to use sponsors to help them with his plan of blowing shit up. No one suspects the baker.

Peeta did try to be smooth with Katniss but I still don't think it was as well executed as his interview but then again, Cesar wanted to be there and Katniss gave no fucks. Poor Peeta, he'll need to try and coach her to be nice, or they'll have Cinna help. The good thing is there won't be that tense mockingjay reveal during the interview IMO.

Sleep is good. And feeling better is even better! :3

No, that's not what I was saying. I meant like, if Gale says he volunteered for Prim, then the public would see similarities between that and Peeta and Katniss the year before. That's all.

I think Katniss is lucky to be there with more likable people this time around. It might be easier to get others to join the alliance and help them out.

Yess, although it's colder out today than it was yesterday. I'm not going to question it though. I've been a little busy so far today, but I'm just about to get started and hopefully I can have something for you before it's really late tonight.

I hope I ended it in an okay spot. I would have done more, but it was already sort of getting long and I didn't want to skimp on any of Haymitch's anger about the prep, so I figured I would save the good stuff for next time.

I'm gonna be on most of tomorrow so I'll get a post up when I get up...which sadly is later than I'd like. Anyway I'm off to bed but I'm happy we're at the Capital (probably the only one lol) but it means we can have some fluff, drama and dancing/partying~!

I found the gif in my signature through google, but there's a lot more festive ones :3 The most I can do in photoshop is honestly stick a hat on people, or reindeer antlers.

I'll find something...though rain is more akin to my area than snow, thankfully.

Yeah I got sucked into other sites and then felt really bad because I had my doc open with nothing to show for it for the posts I needed to deal with here but those other sites can wait because this one has better people. <3

Consider yourself lucky. Parts of Michigan have already gotten like four feet and counting. Luckily, that's more west and I live toward the east.

I've been in storms, I am glad it was short lived. XD Hopefully you stay warm and don't go outside for like..a few months.

Well...one was Reddit and I watched everyone lose their shit over a game that's coming out tomorrow so I couldn't tear myself away from that and the other is a roleplay but...it's different...not sure if I'd recommend it. ^^'

It's supposed to warm up this weekend, which is weird, but I'm just happy it's not going to be snowing. Hopefully it stays away for a few more weeks.

That's good, with people traveling, you don't want roads to be too dangerous...unless they're your in-laws lol

I have no idea what do for the costumes (thanks!) should I just do fire again or some variation? I can turn on Catching Fire and try to remember how things were but if they don't show the suite, I'll have to go online or use references from THG or again, find pics for us to use or something. I assume I can take us to the end of the ceremony, maybe introduce Johanna and Finnick. Finnick flirts with the ladies, Johanna decides she can take of her clothes in the elevator?

And it's more of a sexytime site...not many people there are great writers eheh.

Haha, I don't have in-laws, but my best friend did get in an accident the other night.

I think we can stick with fire, although feel free to do something on like polyvore if you feel like it. As for the suites, pictures or references from the movie are fine. I think that's a little far, tbh. They only just arrived. I think if you wanted to end before the ceremony starts, and introduce either Finnick or Johanna that way, it would be fine. If not, we can save the elevator or whatever for after.
