The Aestromachy: 222 to 221 years ago

The young god Consenarius, also known as Justin Magnus, overthrows the Old Pantheon and establishes himself as sole god. Many empires and kingdoms in the West convert to Justinianism, a monotheistic, moralistic civic religion based on Justin Magnus' writings and commandments. Justianism takes a number of different forms in the many places it is practiced, but all Justinian cults generally disdain magic. Justinian states tend to be communitarian, authoritarian, militaristic and legalistic.

The ancient goddess Yuwan is the only deity of the old pantheon to survive Consenarius' revolt. Many remain devoted to her, most notably the city-states of the Drathan League in the deserts of the Far East. The holy city of Yuwanopolis is founded in the Avanagashan Desert by the rulers of the Drathan League, the Congress of Masters. Yuwanist worship takes innumerable forms, and on the popular level is generally a cocktail of animism, witchcraft and crude gnosticism. More 'enlightened' forms of Yuwanism value unfettered inquiry, the power of the 'enlightened' over the ignorant, political cunning, and arcane secrets. Given Yuwanism's lack of much ethical content, Yuwanist states have widely varied structures.

1600-Kadian Empire is formed

1300- very aggressive expansion occurs, many are killed in the conquests.

1000- Kadia hits the peak of its expansion after a costly war with the Kazaji nation.

450- Kadian Empire splits in half due to civil war.

430- Easter half collapses under its own weight.

220- Gregol Unas brings the word of Justinianism to the Kadian empire.

216- Justinians fully take over the country, Kadian empire becomes the Kadian Covenant.

2300~ Years Ago: Jetsu arrive on the Ararllian Isle led by the Gsar.
2100~ Years Ago: Human Kingdom founded on opposite shore.
1900~ Years Ago: Relations established between Human Kingdom and Jetsu Council.
1700~ Years Ago: Jetsua hybrids form slim majority in both Nations.
1500~ Years Ago: Jetsua rebellion in both nations kills off vast numbers of Humans and Jetsu, Kingdom of Ararllia and founded and goes into isolation.
1200~ years Ago: Ararllia opens borders and begins an aggressive trade expansion campaign.
900~ Years Ago: Trade reaches the distant east shore of the continent.
221 Years Ago: Local allied empire is abolished and sends Ararllia into a state of chaos while Sacroscant rises, huge efforts are taken to militarize and the following war consumes the west.
5 Years Ago: Succession struggle starts marshlands rebellion.

25 years ago- Whitewall is destroyed, due to it being so small it fell to a single strike. Ivor lord of whitewall cut out his own eyes after running from his destroyed home.

23 years ago- The Sorenn twins are born as the refugees from many other kingdoms flee under Ivor's banner. It's after the birth of the twins that their mother dies in childbirth and their father quits the field fleeing further into darkness held lands never to return.

20 years ago- Ivor after five years begins to be able to sense Darthlukians, some veterans begin to emulate him but it appears 1 out of every 100 has this trait and nowhere near as powerful as Ivor's where it's rumored he can sense their leader, but this abilty comes at a price. Anyone who has it can also be sensed by the forces of darkness.

15 years ago- The refugees exit the blighted lands somewhere north east, there they meet some minotaurs both groups leave on friendly terms. After the minotaurs leave, Ivor swears to fight the darkness and lets anyone who does not wish to fight go. After this they dispatch people to recruit. These recruiters become known as white cloaks due to their whitecloaks with sunburst on it.

12 years ago- The newly named order of Ignis gains holdings within the Caadori empire, the group swears to aid the Caadori over any others.

10 years ago- The establisment of specalized groups are formed and offer to guide excursions into dark held lands with veterans leading the charge. Also during this time mages from a distant land come wishing to research, there some swear fealty to Ivor and establish the orders of sun and moon within the group. Recruitment is offered to any race and both mages groups swell.

9 years ago- The dungeon rot regiments are formed prisoners are offered chances at freedom for three years service. The 1st also known as The Hellhounds distinguish themselves as heros fighting off a group of darkness spawn on one such excursion fatality rates were 95% of 1500 men were lost to 300 Darthlukians.

1 year ago- Order numbers reach current numbers, stay that way after a year of quite within the lands of the dark.

This history is subject to several inaccuracy, since the Clan that is now currently in its 19th literation has, as seems to be tradition among the rat folk, burnt or destroyed most historical records of the 18th and so on clan. Hence most of this is recorded by outside scholars

1th Clan
??? Years ago - The first massive rat-beastkin migration begins, where several until then disorganized packs of rabid tribes unite under one supreme tribe. This would be the point of the 1th tribe. The first tribe open up several early wars towards other species and seemingly claims a large territory, according to the Clan's own mythos. However few archaeological proofs exist to back up this clam. This first Clan seems to have disintegrated because of internal strife, witch would be a tradition for the later Clans. Their legacy however remain in the Rat-folks religion.

2th Clan ''Wisdom Seekers''
2000 to 1500 years ago - This clan also is shrouded in much mystery, however it seemed to be a a clan of shamans and wizards. During this time the Rat-folks reputation had not yet been stained, so several of these seers served with the other races as advisors, again according to some scholars, becoming very successful in both diplomacy and trade. It seems that most of the 1th Clan's empires territory was returned through several documented peace treaty's, witch again led to a surplus of goodwill towards this clan. The 2th clan would however fall because of civil war. This war witch name has long since been forgotten led to a new clan taking the spotlight.

3th Clan ''The Black Surge''
1000 years ago to 700 years ago - The last of the major famous clans, ''The Black Surge'' would single-handedly destroy any goodwill the ratskin had built up during their long years under the second clan. Broken peace-treaties, large raids that burnt down several ancient land marks, no regard for civilians life during pillages and a ferice racial perjure against all other races has led this Clan to be remember unfoundly by almost all races on Somnus. This clan would later be destroyed by outside forces, as all races more or less turned on it and quashed it.

4th to 18th Clan
700 to current date - Research from now in the clans history becomes near impossible, since after book and record of this clans have been wiped out by the next ruler of the united Clans. But if there is one trace and common line one could draw between this clans is that they, just as the 3th Clan, spoiled their own diplomatic relations with the other kingdoms, through assassinations, raids and backstabbing. The clans territories as a result, shrunk to only encompass the swamp lands that they now call home. This had also led to the decrease of diversity in the ratkin colours of fur, going to a greener and sicklier look then they had before.
