I should probably do a map of Upponhill too, and I'll fill it in with buildings and stuff as we go along with the RP. That way we have a consistent idea on where what is and who lives so we don't ever slip up later. I could probably sit down to it tomorrow morning between waking up and going out on my long drive to Lansing. In the meantime, I'm looking at pictures of Uyghur things to prepare for a PoW post. Or rather, continuing it.

Damn it Peppermints, where is my application. I'd also like for another friend to get in, I know he had an app all set up and ready when this was in the planning stages. But he hasn't appeared, and I feel stuck without him. He was going to sort of fill in an area I wanted to get involved in and I don't want to step on toes. So this has been a reason why I haven't been posting, especially since I don't want to wander around like this is some free-RP town genre RP.

So it occurred to me after reading Googer's application and that he'll be a part of a sort of "second group" of maybe-colonists: at no point has a colonial charter of sorts been discussed. How is this placing recognizing its own power structure and doing what were? Especially given Chapa wanting to be a fur company thing, I feel some sort of loose central structure might have to exist, even if decentralized as fuck.

I think the Crown should have some kind of presence in Uponhill, even if it's just a fort up the river or a small office of a Governor General or something.

EDIT: And I was wondering if Antoinne is the equivalent to our France?
