I tend to find myself shot more than anything else, although I have been stabbed as well, but that is usually when the rending and tearing of a mauling ensues shortly after.

Hopefully you aren't beating him that badly.

Nah. Its usually like I'm trying to attack him under water. All my hits land softly and slowly.
Irritating as hell.
Never been shot or stabbed in dreamstate before, though.

That does sound quite irritating.

Being injured in my dreams has become my trigger, so common place is it that I've begun to lucid dream almost explicitly when I notice or perceive such unusualities, although for the immediate time after it is a short blood frenzy in response. All the same, it isn't pleasant until you realize it isn't real.

As a fellow lucid dreamer, I get that.
My trigger is dinosaurs, hahaha. When i see one I know I'm dreaming.

I wish mine was so benign to the point I could go, "Hey, wait - dinosaurs?"

Although having the sort of moment where everyone within the dream realizes I should be dead yet remains standing is an interesting revelation. Perhaps the only more bizarre encounters are running into my characters, who for one reason or another, I cannot exercise absolute control over. It seems they've become self aware.

Im usually chased by dinosaurs. XD Repetitive dream. 3 biggest repeat offenders are raptors, flying by flapping my arms, and losing/breaking my teeth.

And that character thing. Creepy. If I ran into my characters I'm pretty sure they throttle me for all the torture and drama I put them through.

You need just become The One and stop raptors instead of bullets. I would ask for a picture of this, but I'm doubt the internet is that far gone yet.

Mine seem to be entirely unaware that I even thought of them or the fact that they are in a dream, but no matter what it is I will, they seem to just do as they please. "Creepy" isn't my choice word to describe it, so much as I am at least glad they don't have the reaction you're describing. I would say "confusing" though, as they don't question any of the strangeness going on.

@_@ Lord, I'd be dead if any of my characters came into my dreams. Or my reality, haha. I say all the time to my partners that I'd make a terrible God, because of how cruel I am.
You know you're sadistic when your partner goes "We could give her a more life-threatening injury" and you get wickedly excited because you were holding back.

One of mine would actually be honored to meet me as a sort of "god", another would be strangely happy that everything that's "bad" has happened, one would be put into a crisis of faith and understanding, and the last would be curious what it means to be a thing of imagination.

All the same, I too would not make a good "god", not because of cruelty, but because I am not impartial - I am too fond and favoring of certain things above all others, hence my assumed mantle here.

I had wondered. I'm always fascinated with the why and hows of names/usernames.

As am I, as the many I do see I simply shake my head, left to wonder why they settled on a name that, more often than not, is nonsensical or full of numbers. Not to say they are inherently "wrong" for doing so, but it is surprising that "if at first you don't succeed, add some zeros".

The origin of my name is fairly forward on my biography, but the avatar is drawn directly from this character of mine who equally inspired this title; in fact, I am writing and drafting a concept for a character within the aforementioned character's universe to use on these forums, based off my assumed mantle here.

The real question is as to how you acquired yours.

Oooh. I like it. A lot of work has gone into it.

Mine is my name in Elvish. I learned in high school with my then best friend. We used a database to get first names, then picked a last name for ourselves. Carantathraiel Mori is what I got.
Mori means dark in elvish, and a few years later I learned my real middle name means the same.

I have also taken the name Carantathraiel and incorporated it into my story. Its the name of the elven court my first character was born in. I've made it loosely translate to 'Court of Raiel', who was the matron of the society.

Andarra Bloodmane is one of those characters I keep coming back to and working on more, hence why I wind up spending my money on her as I do when I have just as many other characters that deserve some appreciation. Something about her and her goal, particularly its execution and its means.

Sadly the company I keep - fantasy realm wise - all seem to have some strange bone to pick with elves. Unfortunate, as short of humans they are the sort I find the most like-minded characters and cultures from in fiction.

Interesting history of your story, as well as its application.

Elves are my obsession. Always have been. I have few rps where I don't have at least one.

And felines are mine. Always have been as well. If I can't incorporate something explicitly relevant to them, I at minimum send up a nod to it.

Khajiit and Argonians are the closet I get to humanoids. Furries and Anthros make me really really uneasy.

What about delays :D?

I was thinking of a fantasy world thing. I don't know. Fantasy goblin esque or Fantasy Samurai esque land. First thing is to write it, then it is another thing to market it. I'll probably set up a website for myself the writer and try to market the crap out of it so I can be somewhat successful ^^.

And I love the Aragonians from Elder Scrolls ^^.

I find myself not fond of the "furry" mantra or lifestyle - it simply is not for me, but to each's own. The closest I err are shapechangers and zoanthropes, with the only anthropomorphism I work with the kind you noted in the previous link.

Delays happen. I've had delays of a half hour to delays of 14 hours. They happen. You got to be flexible. Schedule flights at least a day before any obligation. You dont want to land and rush off to something. Easier to land, get to hotel and rest a night before having to be somewhere.

Is it like... not tactful to call relatives and ask for $20 on your 20th birthday...?
