Kiton had yet to recall anything he saw on his travels that was related to these people, but as a normal citizen who didn’t get involved with normal society it was probably going to be a little too obvious that he didn’t know anything about politics when he got talking about everything. His time on worlds was often brief unless there was someone to chase down or kill for a bounty, then it was still not much time spent wandering around. He didn’t mind that life but it was interesting to know what was happening in the worlds he visited, at least if she was making it out to be something very interesting in the first place. Listening to her story he frowned at the mention of sickness, feeling curious to what it was but also wondering why he was out and away all fighting if he had a sickness that couldn’t be cured quickly. “If he was always really sick, why doesn’t he look sick now? Still on medicine and fighting, or something?” Kiton really didn’t know what was happening out there but it was making him uneasy, simply the thought of it being not that far away made him wonder if he was just going to be shot out of the sky again. He was still a little traumatised by that but he did hope he would get over it and not become horribly paranoid over flying again. “Namekians…so there are people on this planet? This place is uncharted and you think it’s okay to go down and ask them for things…?”

T’charrl didn’t like this plan all that much, but it was the only one that was going to do maybe something that might end up hurting the creature. It was a worrying time when the weakness of an opponent wasn’t entirely visible with everything he did only being a guessing game. Throwing his own energy at the creature appeared to be the only option so far but sure enough he was told it actually was working, much to his worry. It wasn’t that he was managing to do something that was anything worrying but rather using his own energy came with a few risks. He would get tired faster and would need to recharge and that meant drawing energy from the planet or other lifeforms. He may have some control over possibly changing now but it didn’t mean he wouldn’t exhaust himself to the point of appearing zombie-like. Hissing angrily as he threw his attacks there was a moment when the monster started to change things up, changing its stance before there was a build-up of energy. Immediately his reaction was to try and get to his friends but before he could the monster let out a violent shockwave, his only reaction being to protect himself if he couldn’t protect anyone else. Raising his arms there was an immediate glow when the energy hit him, but not touching his body he was instead protected by his own energy as it wrapped around him like silk. The attack sent him flying backwards but he held more resistance than the others, only going back a little bit before he popped his own bubble and started coughing.

Shu did notice Viral when Vegeta suddenly dashed off, staring at his friend who was certainly looking fairly fluffy yet fishy. He was worried for his friend, seeing him change once more like that but still looked like he managed an attack on the creature too. Feeling conflicted upon seeing his friend he squeaked when Takeshi told him to go see to him, feeling immediately stuck between wanting to go and wanting to stay. He could fight, he had been doing that with his brother for the past while against this thing, but he didn’t think there was much he could do down there to help defeat this thing. “B-But, whatabout you and everyone else? I’ve been helping a lot too!” He was watching his brother’s back quite literally so. Feeling uneasy when Takeshi moved to get him off he squeaked when he felt the build-up of energy, quickly looking up before yelping when he realised what was going on. Raising his hands at first he looked like he was trying to block it but almost immediately Takeshi grabbed him, guarding him from the attack but both were viciously knocked back through the air. Grabbing hold of Takeshi as if trying to protect him too he felt him and his brother tumble through the air and fall with dizzying results. The fall took more out of him than anything else, his brain taking a tumbling with the fall. With the impact fair winding him he kept his eyes closed at first, eventually opening them to look at Takeshi. “Wha…what was that…” he mumbled, rubbing his head before squeaking in fright, “Ah! No I don’t! Whatabout you?? That was silly of you!”

Viral couldn’t find the control or the ability to stand, everything turning quiet and hollow despite his new ears. To have him stricken down by his own imbalance he clawed at the ground, his large talons easily tearing it open as if it was sand in his struggle just to stand. Even with Vegeta coming down to him the ringing in his ears managed to block most of what he said out; however, he still felt him nearby and was soon opening his eyes to try and look for him through the obstructive vision. Just hearing Vegeta was enough to try and get him to stand, but just as he pressed his paw against the ground there was a large build-up of energy again, his eyes opening wide before he was grabbed and thrown by Vegeta in the process of the blast. Hardly able to make a proper reaction he tumbled lifelessly away, landing on his front once he finally came to a stop. That could’ve been a lot worse and by the scent that fill the air it definitely was for others. Groaning, Viral slowly moved his large arms, forcing his foot to push him up as he managed to get on his knees with his arms forward. Staring at the ground momentarily he gasped at the sound of Vegeta’s voice, his head looking towards him slowly. “V-Vegeta…” he muttered before lifting a paw up for his head as his horns grew to their full length but remaining thinner than usual for the size of his head. If the horns weren’t annoying enough simply raising his arm caused his clothes to rip, his skinnier frame becoming muscular around his arms and shoulders with patches of scales but with his fur being quite prominent around his shoulders and back of his neck still. Growling in frustration more than in a struggle for control he slowly stood up only to stumble as his ankles raised up and enlarging into larger feet, his legs becoming more animal-like in stance but his legs remaining about the same. Dizzily looking down at his webbed furry feet he snarled angrily, only hoping his energy was done changing his body into ridiculous forms. “Aghhh your father is still probably going to kill you…because of this!”

"Ricken's sickness was weird, it affected certain organs and parts of his body. I don't really know much about it, at least the technical stuff, but from what I was told its a degenerative sickness. He had been infected with something at a young age, I remember he was always really pale and in bed a lot, and nothing we could do really helped him. At best we could kind of hold off it becoming worse, but we had no cure for it. He wouldn't really be cured until we were brought in by the rebels, and it was really the Uuonians that saved his life," Sasha explained, smiling as she shrugged her shoulders a little, "You see... A lot of his body was weak because of the sickness, and muscles were failing, as were some organs. To fix it they had to do a lot of surgery, somehow get donor organs and remove anything that was inflicted by the ailment. We got the organs, but he ended up losing an arm, his right leg from the knee down and a portion of his abdomen had to be cut away. I don't know how they did it but he has all of these bio-engineered limbs and little bits now, they work like the real thing but they're mechanical. So he's technically cured now since the parts of him that were wrong are gone, but he's kind of half-artificial now." Sasha may have continued on had a sudden, massive blast not startled her and Kiton alike, gripping the controls of the shuttle as it shook, rubble falling over it and banging off the vessel loudly. Once the rocking had ceased she looked out the window haplessly, wondering what in the world had happened as she couldn't see past all of the dust and debris. "Later, we need to go help!" Sasha retorted, sending the ship forward as it rose over the remains of the cliff, flying back towards the fray.

Ugh... What in the hell was that attack?! No way should anything be able to amass so much energy so quickly, it was unnatural. Then again everything about this damned creature was unnatural, from the way it looked to the way it changed and fought. It had to be killed here and now, if they failed then all of Namek could be wiped out, and who knows what might happen from there. Easier said than done however, they were struggling before now and everyone looked to be injured at this point, not to mention tired. Ricken himself was once again stuck inside of a bit of rubble, his figure slamming into the rock and creating an indent on impact, leaving him fair stuck. Not only was he unable to really move but he noted his false arm was now gone, glancing over and confirming that seeing it was only now there up to the elbow joint. With gashes on his back and shoulders as well as his head too his whole body stung, and the ringing in his ears was taking a while to fade. Groaning as he tried to pull himself free of the rubble he managed to get his arm out, reaching back and slamming his fist into it, breaking away the rock and slowly flying out, panting heavily as he drooped slightly. He'd never thought it would be so difficult to secure Namek, not that any of them could have expected such a monster to be here. Glowering as the beast undid its supports and let out a roar he began gathering Ki in his hand again, frowning as it puttered out and vanished in his palm. Damn, he only just had enough energy to keep himself airborne, meaning his blade and attacks would be useless. Great, what use was he now?

Well so much for helping Viral now, they had their own problems to worry about. At the very least Takeshi had managed to spare Shu a good deal of harm, with no short amount of injuries being sustained in the process. With bits of sharp rock sticking out of his legs and back it was pretty hard not to reach back and pull them out, figuring it was better to deal with the pain then open all the wounds and bleed out. Smiling amused as his brother came to the older boy let out a faint laugh, shaking his head as he wiped some of the blood from his face onto his sleeve, "Nah... It was silly of you, not going to Viral..." he retorted, chuckling weakly, "Me...? I'm fine. It takes a hell of a lot more than this to kill me, you know?" It sure was close though, just one piece of jagged rock through his back and he could have been done for, and Shu wouldn't know what had happened until he found his dead brother on top of him. Shaking himself of that thought Takeshi let out a groan, turning over and sitting on his backside as he kept his legs at an angle, glancing down at himself and scoffing. "Bah... Stupid rocks did more to me than the monster..." he grumbled, finally venturing a glance in Viral and Vegeta's direction. Jeez, the Beastman really took a hit there, both literally and figuratively, the guy was definitely a monster in of itself now. Maybe not the nicest thing to be saying about a friend but how else could one describe Viral's appearance? Hopefully he didn't go nuts, if he did they were definitely done for.

Damn it... Viral was supposed to be getting better, so why had he changed? What had been wrong with the treatment he'd been administering? This was stupid, things were supposed to work, why weren't they working? Vegeta couldn't understand it, he'd followed his father's notes to the letter and even used other research to formulate the cure, and yet despite his efforts he wasn't able to help the Beastman it seemed. Smiling bitterly he stared up at the sky, letting out a long sigh before glancing back at his friend as he spoke. "Maybe he will... Maybe I deserve that, for failing you so many times," Vegeta replied, "I'm sorry Viral... This was supposed to cure you, and instead it looks like it got worse. I can't replace my father and I'm beginning to see that... It's just a bit late I'm afraid." It wasn't quite like him to be so sentimental and morbid, but with all of his efforts going up in smoke before his very eyes it was quite hard not to. Everyone was alive for now, but how long would that last? Another attack like that would likely kill them, and all of their effort to reach this point would be for nothing. "If we get back to Earth after all this, with father and mother, I'm giving up Capsule Corporation again. I was never really suited for the job anyways, and I'm thinking I've only done harm while being the one in charge."

"Wow... Listen to you, getting all mopey," Yumi teased, smiling as she trudged towards her friends, still dripping from having crawled out of the lake, "Since when are you such a baby? I thought men were supposed to be all tough and not get sentimental?" Things were looking bad though, that she'd admit. With a few exceptions everyone had taken quite a hit from that attack, and the monster didn't seem done even after expending so much energy. While she and Vegeta could likely still fight it wouldn't be easy, as no doubt both of them were nearing their point of exhaustion by now. Stopping at her friend's side she squatted down, gingerly grabbing hold of him as she slung his good arm around her shoulders and got him to his feet. Battling in their current condition would be quite bad, and as far as Yumi could see there was really only one option available to them. Even as twisted as he was now Viral was by far the most ready for battle, and T'charrl and Shu were the only ones she could see really who weren't beaten up from that blast. It would be the three of them then that would have to fight, while the rest supported where they could. "Viral... Please tell me you're not done fighting," Yumi began, smiling as she glanced over at the Beastman, "We need your help... No way can we kill this thing ourselves."

Haku was having a fair difficult time getting up, if only because his whole body felt terribly sore after that hit. After finally gathering his senses again he lifted up his head, looking around blearily as he tried to get a sense of where everyone else was. The closest people to him were Vegeta, Viral and Yumi, and apparently Viral had gone through quite a bit of changes in the last few moments. Wincing as he got himself to sit up he reached up to his head, cringing when he felt a damp spot through his hair, probably a concussion. Struggling to his feet Haku began to stumble over to the others, frowning as he overheard them trying to put Viral up to the fight. Earlier they wanted him to have nothing to do with it, now he was their last bet? Given everyone's condition he supposed it wasn't completely absurd, but still... They were going to risk that? "I can... I can still help, I'm not dead yet," he offered, smiling uneasily as he looked up at Viral, "I can fly you... If you want. Get you close enough to hit it."

Kiton could say something but then he knew he’d come off as heartless, but if something like that happens usually the best way to relieve the pain is to let them pass on; however, with Ricken up and running and apparently going in for a battle then not letting him die was probably the better decision. He hadn’t experienced the death of anyone close to him so he didn’t know what was the point on him giving an opinion? If he ever managed to somehow get sick he’d probably go for the augmentations too, but maybe on a more biological scale than full on mechanics. “So he really is a cyborg, huh? Gross”, he sighed, looking towards the windows, “I can’t tell if that’s a contract you’re under now, though. A willing contract…but still a need to rely on these rebels, right?” Before he could continue the conversation the shockwave caught him completely off-guard, holding onto the cot to try and stay on it. He had no idea what had caused that and couldn’t check. “What? ‘We’? For one you just bandaged me up! Now you want me to go into battle…? You people are crazy…”

Despite having not been able to do what he couldn’t to help his friends, T’charrl wasn’t going to let that put him down. He still had his friends to protect even if they were hurt and thankfully he would be able to mend their damage so long as he could find the energy to do it. He hadn’t done it in a while thankfully, but he could remember what he felt to be able to heal as opposed to steal energy and destroy. Dropping to the ground momentarily he placed a claw to the ground, taking some of the energy from the planet he soon flew off towards Ricken to regroup. The others weren’t going to be able to fight, even Shu would be too unreliable. Everyone’s energy was low, it was only him and Viral who was probably able to do anything to it. Looking back to the creature he frowned, seeing it become ever angrier probably not that it knew it had an advantage. Flying over to Ricken he held his blades out still keeping guard just incase. “What do we do? Everyone’s down and your energy isn’t feeling very good…”

Shu didn’t know why Takeshi had to get hurt because of him, feeling they could’ve done alright if they just flew fast enough. They had flew really fast before and they probably could’ve outrun that attack, maybe. He just wanted to believe that they could’ve done without getting injured that time, even if it was probably impossible to avoid. Slowly climbing away he squeaked as he fell over instead, shaking his head as he still felt dizzy. “I couldn’t had made it to him…a-and he…” Looking over in Viral’s direction as their friend continued to change, looking strangely ferocious despite him knowing exactly what his friend’s personality truly was. Slowly lowering down again he looked to Takeshi again, frowning. “Maybe…I could…” Holding out his hands he gathered up some energy, almost closing his eyes before realising he shouldn’t and fired it around Takeshi, loosening up the rock in violent pops.

Viral’s burst of pain had ceased for him for now, his body still straining to try and get used to the form without dislocation happening. He didn’t know how he got to this point in his life but right now he didn’t have time to think into the past, his straining eyes looking to Vegeta. He couldn’t let Vegeta take the blame for this, he wasn’t the one who went off into battle and made his energy go wild like that. He didn’t know about Vegeta or what he was trying to say but all that he could be thankful right now was not losing it completely again like he did against the Narbu. Staring at him with confused eyes he slowly moved back, still unsteady on his feet as he struggled to get used to what he had become. He barely looked like himself anymore apart from a few key aspects, but his energy wasn’t going out of control anymore. Looking to Yumi when she decided to intervene from Vegeta’s mad ramblings he eventually groaned, looking to his paws. “I didn’t mean that…” he muttered before looking to him again, “All you did was slow it down…it was already going to happen! Whether you found the cure, I just couldn’t-…my energy wasn’t under my control. I shouldn’t had entered the battle…” He probably looked terrible to everyone, like a beast that didn’t know what it wanted to be. Everything was starting to collide together and fight for dominance meaning he didn’t have long left before he could find a stable cure. Feeling frustrated he looked over to Yumi, narrowing his eyes before he looked to the monster. “…I’m not. I will fight”, he spoke, turning towards the beast, “This happened because I couldn’t fight the desire to save you and Vegeta…to protect you! I let my wiring get the better of me…”

"No, he's not totally a cyborg, most of him is still real," Sasha retorted, narrowing her eyes as he placed her hands on her hips, "And even if he was why are you saying that like it's a negative thing? I don't see anything wrong with it, do you?" This was her brother they were talking about, and considering that she'd in essence just saved Kiton's life, though perhaps an exaggeration, she still didn't expect something to rude to be said. Were she of any less good will she might just toss him out of the shuttle right then and there, but figuring the comment really did no harm Sasha held back any rebuttals and only rolled her eyes in exasperation. There was no time to comment about any sort of contract, the sudden, large blast of energy that shook the area more than took precedence. Perhaps in a slightly poor move Sasha quickly took to the controls of the shuttle, directing it towards the epicenter of the attack and where her brother and friends would all be fighting. She knew it was a crazy move, and Kiton took no time in voicing the very thing she was thinking. "No one said you are fighting, so sit down and relax," she snapped, glancing back before smiling tightly, "And I'm not crazy, I'm just not going to sit back while my friends and family could be dying. Worst case scenario you take the shuttle and go away from here, I'll help them fight." The Frost Demon could and may well try to get away with their craft, but the joke would be on him when he learned it was pre-set to return to their ship after leaving orbit. Assuming he would have no clue how to change those settings he'd end up back on the Prince's stolen craft, their other friends waiting and likely not being at all too happy.

Ricken was nearing his wits end, and of course losing a limb didn't help either, even if it was prosthetic. His Ki was too low to use many more attacks and if he exerted himself too heavily he could well pass out, and that would be the end of him. Suffice to say he was probably through fighting here, much as he loathed to admit it. So having T'charrl come over after deciding this and asking him what they were going to do, well, he wasn't thrilled. "At this point...? I don't know. Maybe I could loge myself in its throat and hope it chokes," he replied, smiling bitterly as he shook his head, "Pathetic, I was beaten by some damned plant, or whatever the hell this thing is. The only thing we really can do is leave it to you and Viral, you're the only ones who can still fight." They could try to help, but realistically he knew most of them would only get in the way at this point and inhibit those who actually could battle. What a humiliating way to end the fight, still perfectly alive yet just too tired to go on. Damn monster, he was certain too they would kill it in some mundane way as well, then everyone would look all the more foolish for being beaten. As far as Ricken was concerned at this point, whether the beast died or not, his mission to come here and see the planet secure was a failure, he'd been unable to accomplish it himself. Having the others do so wasn't good, albeit he supposed it was better he wasn't relying on Saiyans.

"Yeah... You're probably right, best you stayed put," Takeshi remarked, smiling slightly as he got himself up off of Shu, taking a seat on the side. Heh, why did he even bother trying to protect the little guy so much? A year ago he wouldn't have cared, six months ago he'd let Shu get hit, it'd build character, so why the hell did he do that now? He knew he cared about his brother but to this extent, it was weird. Much as he was questioning it though he didn't regret it, even with the pain all over and his head throbbing dully, he wouldn't have done it any different. Glancing over at Shu curiously as he gathered Ki the older boy blinked confused, eyes widening as he was fired at, quickly lifting his arms to shield himself. Half expecting to be struck by his brother's blasts he was surprised when he remained unharmed, lowering his guard and looking around confused. A lot of the debris around them had been cleared and the two now sat in a moderate opening, so at least they had room to maneuver. "Wow... You didn't blow either of us up," Takeshi said teasingly, giving the younger boy a thumbs up, "Let's see about doing that to the monster, yeah?" Shifting around to get on his knees he tried to stand up, gasping as pain shot through his leg from putting pressure on it and promptly taking a knee again. With a scowl he glanced back at the offending stone, near going to yank it out but stopping himself. "Damn it... Shu? Think you can fly us out of here? I can't really move too well right now."

Yumi wasn't too sure how they were going to salvage the fight at this point, but they had to; Viral's cure was just on the horizon and losing the fight likely meant losing any chances of that, as well as Namek itself. If not for their own purposes they had to win here just to keep the Namekians safe, they owed that much for bringing this trouble along. It didn't help them much that Vegeta appeared quite shaken, something she rarely if ever saw happen. Normally calm and collected the fact that he was apologizing and self-loathing meant he felt he'd failed, that much she knew. Until he got his wits back about him he'd be borderline useless, meaning the only people who they could really rely on were Viral and T'charrl now, and perhaps even Shu. "Viral... Your wiring had nothing to do with that," Yumi interjected, smiling wearily as she shook her head, "You wanted to protect your friends, that's all. Nothing fancy about that, it's just what people do for one another. You made your own choice to help, this 'wiring' of yours had nothing to do with it." Viral had just exercised a bit of free will, something she didn't think he ever even acknowledged. It was always about some kind of wiring, or predisposition, but why couldn't he just choose to do something? Glancing over at Haku as he stumbled over she bit her lip uncertainly at his proposal, not loving the idea of anyone getting close to the monster right now. Glancing at it she could tell it was having to take a quick breather from that attack, but who knows what it might do next. "Viral...? You're the one fighting, it's your choice. We'll do what we can from here."

Kiton frowned, “I didn’t say it like that! I-I just-…I meant what you would call him, you know? Aghh you people…” He really didn’t see what the problem was with being a cyborg, seeing how the guy was pretty artificial compared to him and anybody else. Having augments like that usually meant someone was trying to improve on something, but with Ricken’s case it was more like going cyborg for the benefit of the person’s state of health. For now Kiton was more concerned with them going off and having them get closer to the battle, especially when it was obviously a very bad idea for all of them. He didn’t want to go into this fight in this current state and with Sasha saying ‘we’ he didn’t know what she wanted from him. “Then who is ‘we’?? Dragging me along because you’re afraid I’ll take the craft…how rude and irresponsible…” he spoke, groaning in pain, “Aghhhh I gotta stop straining. All this stress is just killing me…”

T’charrl was really trying to figure out what he was supposed to do, finding it all too difficult to understand how he was supposed to accomplish killing this creature when everyone was down. He really was the last one flying and Viral didn’t count when he couldn’t do such a thing. He was worried he was not going to be able to support the Beastman, especially now that he looked so different. “Choke? I don’t even know if it breathes…” he mumbled, feeling confused for a moment before his attention was taken back to the monster, “I-I guess…I am going in again. It is harmed by my energy, at least…” He would have to if Viral wasn’t going to be able to fight anymore, knowing how it felt to suddenly change like that. It was pretty drastic and scary not to mention pretty painful. Flying in again he started to fly around the monster, throwing his energy at its face in hope that he might burn it enough to weaken it down around the area.

Shu really did hope he had enough control to do what he needed to do with these rocks, his only hope that he wouldn’t hit Takeshi being what he primarily task. Trying to focus on the rocks and not look away he fired off his Ki, the rocks exploding into dust all around Takeshi. Once the dust cleared from his vision he waved his hand in front of his face, coughing before focusing on Takeshi he squealed happily, clapping his hands quickly. “I did it! Yeah I didn’t blow you up!” That was the first time he had proper control over his Ki, maybe because he had to use it around Takeshi but either way he was thrilled. Smiling happily at him he tilted his head when he tried to stand up, shaking his head quickly and holding his hands out in front of him. “No go after it! It’s too bad…” Leaving the place seemed good enough for him, especially with his brother in a state like that. Moving over to him he floated a little, moving his arms to try and pick Takeshi up by the arms and take him away from the area. “Heavy heavy…”

Viral knew he had let everyone down just by changing, depressing Vegeta and making things worse overall for him. He didn’t mean to, he tried to control it but he couldn’t hold it off anymore. He had been trying to keep it down for so long, but everything was going wrong and now he looked like an abomination. He could feel Vegeta’s emotions just by looking at him, seeing how disheartened he was. It hurt him a lot, disappointing him like that. Groaning as he lifted a paw to his head he looked to Yumi, staring at her for a moment before looking down at himself. “I am…I am…” he paused, staring down before gasping as he snapped out of his little trance. If he was going to do anything just now it would be to take down that monster, but to do that he would have to use his energy again. He was brimming with it just now in this form, a state where he could easily lose himself in it and risk dying from over-exertion. Growling a hiss he could only reject Haku’s over, shaking his head before he took a few steps back. “I…must do it alone. I’ll kill it! It won’t stand a chance…I-I’ll…”

Growling lowly he moved away from the others completely, raising a paw to his chest which promptly glowed with energy. It was a very quick charge showing he had plenty of energy to spare, snarling as it continued to gather before he made a sudden jump as his energy gathered all around him in a violent glow. Very quickly the glow grew massive, forming into a giant figure with a pair of feet stomping down into the solid ground. He had managed to summon his Enki, it’s massive form possibly rivalling the creature in size and the strength it held; however, he would need to control it. The controls and seating inside had adjusted to the shape of his new form, the Enki’s angry yellow eyes glowing with power as the glow faded. It was up to Enki to do the task of killing it, so long as he could penetrate that hide it had. Stomping towards it he kept a fair solid control, the Enki itself sparking energy every so often as Viral continued to try and keep it under control.

"Yeah... No idea if the damn thing even breathes... I know it lives though, and we'll fix that," Ricken retorted, smiling painfully as he shook his head, "I don't even care right now... I just want that fricken thing dead, and for us to be done with this mess. We're asked to secure Namek and we will, but I won't mind if that monster just drops off the world right about now." No doubt he and Sasha were going to be questioned to the moon and back about what had happened, particularly how they encountered an entirely new variant of monster here. There was still no certainty as to whether this was actually one of the smaller beasts from before or not, nothing sans the color of its hide suggested it might be. No doubt that there were going to be a lot of holes in their story too, and a ton of information they would be unable to provide. Watching as the Kaesstrian flew off he frowned, resolving not to follow but still frustrated at the fact. There were other things to concern himself with anyways, as he turned around and noticed the shuttle returning to the field of battle. Eyes widening in surprise he quickly flew up to cut off the ship, looking at his sister baffled through the glass as he gestured for her to leave. "Get out of here Sasha, it's not safe! Go away!" he shouted, turning his head as the monster roared from T'charrl's attacks. One of its arms went flailing in their direction as it tried to fend off the attacker, swinging in fair quick and managing to clip one of the shuttle's thrusters as it passed over. Seeing the ship stutter in mid air and tumble slightly Ricken flew over to it, getting on the far side and placing a hand beneath it, grunting as he flew up to try and keep it steady. Once it had settled he breathed a sigh of relief, moving up to the open door and looking at the Frost Demon curiously. "Hey."

Sasha felt the need to do something here, even if that something was only provide some sort of support. She'd done what she could for the Frost Demon, but by just showing up at the battle she could see there was far more work to be done. A lot of good she would be able to do if the shuttle was destroyed though, and when they were struck there was a real moment where she feared it may have been irreparably damaged by the monster. Thankfully that was not the case, and after settling she pried herself from the controls, sending a glance at the battle going on before hurrying back to the door. Seeing her brother all beaten up and missing an arm she couldn't help but groan, reaching out and grabbing him by his tattered shirt and yanking him inside.

"H-Hey! Sasha!" Ricken shouted, gasping as he stumbled inside and was subsequently made to sit down on a cot. Giving an oomph in the process he rubbed at his sore head, looking up at his sister with a frown, "That thing nearly killed us, mind going a little easier on me?"

"Please, you're fine Ricken. Just sit there and play nice, will you?" Sasha asked rhetorically, "Your spare arm is in back somewhere, we'll get it fixed in a second, just wait." If she couldn't be involved in the fighting then perhaps she could be of help another way, by evacuating everyone that was hurt. Going to the doors she looked out at the group below, surprised how nearly everyone was injured in some way; after a blast like that however she supposed she ought not to be that surprised. "Hey! Get your butts up here, we're moving the injured!" Sasha shouted, waving to everyone down below, "They can handle this, just get in!" She may have doubted that just Viral and T'charrl had the situation under control at first, but after witnessing the Beastman rather dramatically take form of some giant mech she was fair confident their help wasn't needed. Returning to the controls of the shuttle Sasha reared it around, slowly descending towards the injured fighters.

"Yeah... Not bad buddy, you did good," Takeshi said, smiling approvingly at his brother. Huh, who would have thought the little guy could control his energy like that, evidently the bit of training they had done paid off. Either that or he got lucky, that was always a possibility. Unfortunately they couldn't quite sit here and let Shu get more practice in, there was the small matter of getting to safety first. In his state Takeshi would hardly be moving much at all, and while he could probably fly it it wouldn't be in the most graceful of fashions. Well then, if his younger brother was feeling good about himself maybe he could fly them out, luck be willing. Watching as the little guy came over Takeshi lifted up his arms, blinking in confusion as he was awkwardly lifted and left danging precariously in Shu's grasp. "Hey, you saying I'm fat?!" the older boy quipped, frowning as he glanced back at Shu, "I'm not that heavy! Seriously, we've trained with heavier weights than me..." Could be the little guy was just tired too, that was always possible. Hearing Sasha calling for them to get in the shuttle he smiled tiredly, thinking a cot would be awfully nice right about now. Pointing up to the approaching vessel for Shu's sake he sent a glance back at Viral and T'charrl, wondering if just the two of them could really finish this.

The monster wanted to kill every fighter who had attacked it, but was unable to so much as look at the fleeing group thanks to T'charrl. The blasts to its face were largely mitigated by its frills, but the unique energy of the Kaesstrian was leaving some fair painful burns. One spot on the frills was even beginning to burn away, leaving a fair thin slab of flesh where its thick hide once was. Snarling furiously as it watched the alien dart about it took a few unsuccessful swipes, finding nothing but air between its claws. In the fit of trying to kill T'charrl it neglected to try and even stop Viral, only noticing what was happening when it caught sight of the massive machine out of the corner of its eye. Swiveling its head to look at the Beastman it snarled angrily, opening its maw and hastily gathering energy to blow away the new threat.

Kiton was pretty worried, looking to Sasha as she ultimately decided it was worth taking their only ride back into space towards the monster. He was getting flashbacks all over again, grabbing hold of the cot as his tail wrapped around underneath. This was going straight into the ground, he just knew it. Holding on desperately he gasped when the ship stuttered he shut his eyes, slowly opening them again when nothing major happened and the ship was still airborne. Frowning, his eyes slowly moved towards Sasha, not sure if he should trust her at the controls after that. Slowly releasing his grip from the cot he looked towards the door, seeing Ricken at the door. He must’ve stopped the ship from shaking, but the look he was giving him he didn’t know whether to fully trust him. Grunting as he shifted his body a little he only raised his fingers to wave at Ricken only for Sasha to pull Ricken away from the door and proceed to throw him down on a cot. Feeling a little surprised by her haste he sighed upon hearing her change of plans, instead wanting to gather everyone who had fallen. “I was worried for a while…like maybe one of you died…heh…”

Shu found the height difference quite difficult to process when it came to flying, finding Takeshi to be heavier than he thought he was. He didn’t want to drop him or anything so he continued to try and fly away. “Maybe you fat…maybe! I don’t know, it’s hard…” His arms were fairly taking a bit of a beating right now as they felt like they might fall off him, but he had been using his arms a lot so maybe they had just worn down. Opting to grab Takeshi with his tail as well, wrapping it around one of Takeshi’s arms before he spotted the shuttle. At least that was there and with Sasha offering to help them too, smiling at her when he spotted her. “Ooh! Now we can get that rock out your butt!” he giggled, taking him up to the shuttle’s door, “Might be sore to sit down for a while, huh?”

Viral needed to try and keep control of his mech if he was to manage any sort of damage on it, maybe charge up his beam. It did help that there was two suns in this planet’s orbit but what didn’t help was his out of control energy. A lot of it was going into powering Enki so charging was going to take a moment at most. Stomping towards the creature he watched it carefully, seeing T’charrl flying all oblivious to the mech that was approaching. Watching as the alien distracted the monster he moved carefully, thinking his swords were possibly a bad idea with that thick hide. Maybe he could chop off its limbs first, at least it seemed like a good idea. Moving his hands to his blades he pulled at them; however, as soon as he got them by his sides the monster opened its mouth, preparing to fire straight at him.

T’charrl was trying hard but again was starting to run low on energy, finding it hard to keep up with it. He was getting through its skin but at a larger cost to his mental health. He was feeling tired already, his energy not feeling too high right now. As he continued to swirl around and dodge the creature he looked to the claws that just missed him only to catch sight of a large shadow heading their way. Turning around quickly he gasped at the giant figure, staring at it for one moment before he immediately looked back to the creature, seeing it opening its mouth. He had to act fast since the figure didn’t look ready to counter the attack. Barely thinking about his next action he could only think to go by Ricken’s joke but to make it effective; besides, it should be weak on the inside too. Immediately fly as fast as he could he went straight into its mouth, holding up his energy to shield him from it and to hopefully interrupt its attack.

Despite having lost some blood Takeshi still had enough for his face to turn red, glancing back at his brother abashed before letting out a huff. "I'm not fat! I'm the same size as you!" he retorted, frowning as he folded his arms, only to wince when he rubbed his abrasions, "Ugh... I'm just a little taller, so if I'm fat then you're fat too." They hadn't expected Sasha to show up as she had, but her timing couldn't be much better in the scheme of things. With Viral now using that machine of his and T'charrl probably fighting without any inhibitions things were bound to get messy, it was best that anyone not in a state to fight get out. It would be nice to get seen to, and more importantly get these rocks out of his damn legs. "T-THEY'RE NOT IN MY BUTT! THEY'RE IN MY LEGS!" the older boy shouted, his face burning bright red as he threw his hands down indignantly, "If you keep joking about it I'll... I'll put a rock in your butt!" It would be hard to sit for a while but for reasons other than having a rock up in his nether regions. Not to mention sleeping, now that he considered it, as he always slept on his back. Man... Why couldn't he get hit somewhere else, like his left arm? He didn't use that for anything! Looking inside of the ship he smiled slightly, only to wince and grasp his head as Shu accidentally bonked his skull off the door. "Agh! Careful!"

Ricken knew better than to snap at his sister when she was like this, figuring he'd end up in worse condition should he speak out. Really his situation wasn't all too bad, gashes and bruises aside. Seeing Takeshi be brought in with debris poking out of him brought a slight smile to his face, if only because he was amused by how indignant the Saiyan seemed. Being totted around by Shu had to be a bit demeaning too, the child was hardly someone he'd go to for help. Leaning back in his cot he closed his eyes to relax, only to open one again and glance over at Kiton as he spoke. "Hmph... Did we disappoint you? I could throw myself back into the fray if you'd prefer that," he retorted bitterly, frowning as he closed the eye, "Some fine mess you brought with you, I'm sure Korian will love to hear how you- OW!" In the middle of speaking Ricken was smacked with a roll of medical gauze over the head, only hurting a bit as it hit a bruise on his head. Wincing as his hand clasped over the mark he looked up at his sister, scowling as she threatened a repeat.

"It was an accident for all we know, so we're not telling Korian anything." Sasha said, shaking her head as she turned to the Princes. She knew the story, sure, but it was hard to put Kiton at fault. Even if he had known the creatures were on his ship, which he did, she was sure his intent never was to deliver them to Namek. At any rate no one was in any kind of condition to be fighting right now, there were far too many injuries for that. Glancing at the door as Yumi, Vegeta and Haku all found their way inside she simply pointed to the cots, waiting for everyone to sit down before glancing between the group. Far as severity was concerned she would probably see to Takeshi and Vegeta first, everyone else had more or less abrasions by comparison. Seeing as Shu hardly seemed injured she gave the young boy a smile, walking over and offering him the bandages and healing gel. "Shu? Would you mind helping me patch everyone up?" she asked, trying to butter him up a bit. She'd need some help with this and while she doubted Shu had any idea whatsoever as what to do she might as well recruit the only healthy person.

The monster was absolutely furious right now, unable to so much as get a single claw on T'charrl as he swarmed around like a gnat. It wanted to kill and eat, that was all. Worn out as it was now and injured it needed the food, but it couldn't get any as all of the injured were retreating. On top of all that the threat that Viral now posed was massive, it had to be eliminated first and foremost. Rearing its head to the Beastman the creature gathered another mass of energy, preparing to release it and blow away Enki in one fell swoop. Hardly even seeing T'charrl any longer it released its attack in full force, immediately realizing something was wrong as the energy ricocheted and hit itself. Roaring through the attack it quickly cut off its energy, a good portion of its maw and chest bring scorched by the intense power of the blast. Even in its pain however it recognized what was with its reach, and wasting no time the monster clamped down its jaw, trying to swallow the Kaesstrian whole before he could so much as react.

Shu would’ve had a better time if he wasn’t going to end up hurting his arms over this, but it was for Takeshi to get the help he needed so he’d live through the pain to give his brother help. “I’m not fat! I’m really skinny! Why call me fat when you know that’s silly”, he squeaked, shaking his head, “You should eat less!” Shu was rather hoping they were going to be able to get the Dragonballs after all this, seeing how there was so many people who were hurt and not exactly many people who could interact with the Namekians correctly. He didn’t know what to say to them and who knew whether Viral would be up to talking to them in his current state without having them acting all frightened. Giggling when Takeshi got all angry about the rocks he looked too him, squeaking. “Why would you put rocks in my butt? That’s really weird!” Taking Takeshi inside he squeaked when Takeshi bumped his head, looking to him before shaking his head. “I didn’t mean to! You’re so tall!” he spoke quickly, taking Takeshi over to one of the cots, looking at the bandaged alien quickly before away again. He was a little scared of him, especially after what Viral said about his species.

Kiton was hardly surprised that they came back all hurt like that, especially after hearing the monster they had to fight. He was pretty sure he would’ve struggled to hold his own if he had to fight it, but maybe he would’ve killed it by now too with his energy. Looking to Ricken he frowned at his rebuttal, narrowing his eyes before looking to Sasha who was quick to silence him. Grunting he looked away again, sighing. “Oh yeah sure. Like everyone knew this planet existed for me to specifically go here…” he muttered, not finding anything in what Ricken was saying to be at all nerve-wracking. He didn’t know anything that could possibly make anyone assume he had done it on purpose, especially considering he crashed his only ride off the planet.

As Shu helped Takeshi along he turned around only to see Sasha approach him, smiling happily up at her before becoming curious about what she was giving him. Tilting his head a little he took the bandages and healing gel from her, staring at them curiously before smiling up at her. “I could help! I could try and help!” he squeaked before looking down at the stuff, tilting his head, “Maybe I can help…” Turning towards Takeshi he showed him the gel and bandages, bouncing happily. “You get this stuff on you now! I don’t know what goes first, though…or what the gel is. Do you know?”

T’charrl had done what he could to stop the creature, literally shoving its own energy down its throat; however, now he just had to get out. Making a sudden turn he made a dash to get out; however, despite having his energy up to protect him it proved too weak to hold up against the pressure of its jaws and immediately shattered, the only remnants of T’charrl ever being there being shards of his wings floating away from the monster’s face.

Viral didn’t know how to block the attack but it soon was T’charrl who blocked it for him with a very risky move, one that promptly made him lunch for the creature soon after. Growling angrily he immediately moved in for the monster, throwing his blades down to try and cut off the monster’s limbs. “You thought you wouldn’t be punished for that cheap tactic?? I’ll tear you apart!”

"W-Wha... You eat just as much as me squirt!" Takeshi said indignantly, frowning as he shook his head, "Maybe you should eat less then too! If I'm eating too much then you're definitely eating too much!" Then again they were Saiyans, or part Saiyan anyways, so putting away an entire buffet by oneself really wasn't that unusual. Could they even get fat? He'd never heard of a fat Saiyan, maybe it wasn't even possible. Still, it got Takeshi all agitated at being called fat, though he dropped the whole argument pretty quickly when he knocked his head off of the shuttle. Groaning as he was brought inside he was finally released onto a cot, glad to have made it in without Shu dropping him in the process. Huh... The little guy did a pretty decent job all things considered, that was nice. Wait... What was Shu doing now? Why did he have the bandages and gel? Watching the younger boy curiously Takeshi blinked when he came over to help, really not too sure about his brother playing doctor. "Er... Well... Maybe we should get Sasha..." he began, cringing when he saw Sasha giving him a dirty look. Jeez, he barely said anything, why were women always glaring at him?! Letting out a soft sigh he smiled slightly, pointing to the gel first, "See that? You're going to take a little bit and rub it on my wounds, which I guess means we need to get the rocks out," he explained, gesturing back to his legs, "Just... Throw them out. After you put gel on you wrap the wound up with the bandages, and use clips to keep it together. Do we even have any?"

"Of course we do. No, we have bandages but nothing to tie them with," Sasha responded, rolling her eyes as she returned to Shu. "See these? After you wrap the bandages like so," she began, taking the roll back and using a tiny bit to demonstrate, "You pinch the two ends together and use the clip to hold it in place." It was a fair straightforward process, yet clearly Shu had never done this before. For someone stuck in the middle of a war and who traveled a lot it was a bit surprising, she figured basic first aid was rudimentary for everyone, medic or not. Wanting to get to the others on the ship she left Shu to do his work, promptly turning back around on her brother and Kiton who were being the absolute best of friends right now. "Ricken... If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all," Sasha teased, quoting their mother as she knelt down and began unraveling a roll of bandages. All of his wounds were fairly shallow, save perhaps for the one gash on his arm from the bites. For extra measure she had grabbed a disinfectant solution for that one, and without saying word edgewise she sprayed a bit into his wound, smiling apologetically as he cringed and let out a hiss. "Don't be such a child, you've had worse. Now hold still so I can wrap you up."

Vegeta was far from thrilled to be out of the fight, especially with Viral and T'charrl being made to do the battle for them. Neither were really in position to be combating that monster, not on their own. He was supposed to be helping them too, by all rights he should be forbidding them from putting themselves at so much risk, even if it meant he and the others had to fight in their place. There was a serious chance that things could go wrong here, and since they were so close to getting everything fixed it was only infinitely worse. Feeling a surge of power, from what he couldn't even say anymore, his heart sank as he feared something bad was happening. Looking in the direction of the fighting he frowned when Yumi grabbed his chin and forced him to look away, looking up at her confused before moving her hand and sighing, glancing away. "I've failed them... They'll either lose their lives here or be hurt, and I can't help them for it. Even if we manage to get my father back it'll be too late..."

"Vegeta, you're not a doctor, everyone knows that, and yet you're trying to be one. You were never trained to be one, and just reading a book or two doesn't make you one," Yumi explained, sighing as she shook her head, "The things your dad and his partners must have done in making Viral, it's way above you and you know it. That being said..." Giving her friend a smile she sat down beside him, grunting from discomfort as he put pressure on her sore ribs, "You tried, and you kept trying even though you knew you didn't know what you were doing. They'll be fine, they're perfectly capable of fighting. Or did you forget Viral's stronger than any of us, or that T'charrl's got power we don't even know about? Sure, maybe you won't be the one to cure either of them, but no one can fault you for trying your hardest to. And at the very least you're the reason Viral even got this far, you're the reason he can be cured. So seriously, quit whining, because it's not like you." Vegeta was always confident and self-assured, not this borderline slobbering mess he was now. Yumi could sympathize with being worried, but she knew to a degree how resilient their friends were, so there was plenty of reason to be assured they would be fine.

The monster was prepared to wipe everyone away with another blast, that's all it would take. In lieu of not noticing T'charrl was in its mouth it tried to release its attack regardless, finding itself getting a literal face-full of its own power as the blast ricocheted back off of his shield and went right back down its throat, tearing into its face as well. Letting out a loud howl of pain the monster was certainly wounded from that, but far from dead and now angrier than before. Seeing a chance it clamped down its jaw despite the pain, managing to catch T'charrl off guard and swallowing him before he could react. With a satisfied hiss it turned its gaze onto Viral then, not noticing it was being attacked until just now. Snarling furiously as it lashed out with its arms it managed to swing past him, mostly in part due to having three arms simultaneously severed by his blades. Shrieking from the pain the monster reared back, shaking before letting out an erratic blast to try and force the Beastman away, missing him by a good few meters and blowing apart a bit of ground beyond him. With its remaining arms it tried to grab hold of his, hoping to tear them away and keep him from doing that again.

Shu was quite willing and ready to deal with Takeshi’s injuries, not much caring over the thought of open wounds and blood when he had seen worse in his lifetime. It didn’t bother him when it meant somebody would get better once it was treated, plus it made him feel helpful. Smiling as he offered Takeshi his help he frowned a little when he mentioned Sasha, turning to look at her before back again. “Why nobody trust my help? I’m good at things”, he spoke, feeling a little sad by that but quickly perked up again when he realised he was supposed to show support. He was supposed to be serious about this, knowing he had a lot of responsibility when it came to making his brother feel more comfortable. Looking down at the gel before to Takeshi’s legs he nodded, moving towards his legs with his attention to Sasha. Staring at what she was demonstrating he tilted his head a little, trying to take in what she was doing, smiling happily when it all seemed a little clearer for him. “Okay! I can do that, I’m good with little puzzles!” Squeaking happily he sat on his tail, treating it as if he was sitting on a stool before he started yanking out the rocks in Takeshi’s legs, throwing them off and out of the door before he rubbed the gel on the open wounds. “Rub, rub, rub! Not as bad as getting rocks in my face!”

Viral knew one thing and that was to get T’charrl out as quickly as possible. It wasn’t the guy’s fault he got eaten, he was just trying to stop a blast and do internal damage at the same time; however, he did recognise it was really risky and relying on speed way too much. At least with Enki he was too big for that nonsense and using computer screens as sight over being on the battlefield improved his mental focus greatly, preventing his mind from collapsing; however, it was taking a lot of energy to run this thing and was going to exhaust his body if he didn’t act fast. All the more reason to try and get the Kaesstrian out as fast as possible. Throwing down his blades he severed several of the monster’s limbs, throwing his blades around again before going on guard when the beast tried to hit him again but missed, glaring angrily at the crater before his arms were grabbed by the creature. Growling angrily he pulled backwards, holding his stance steady before out of compartments in his Enki came throwing knives, firing at the creature. “You have nothing left! You’re defeated already!”

Takeshi loved his little brother to death, but that didn't mean he was wholly confident in the younger boy playing doctor. This was someone who had trouble dressing himself for goodness' sake, and now he was supposed to be applying first aid? If Shu didn't appear so eager to be useful he might have said something, yet seeing how eager he was Takeshi didn't have the heart. Ah well, he'd had worse, nothing his sibling could do would make this as bad. "That's great buddy, but pulling things out of people isn't exactly a puzzle." he explained, lying down in the cot with a sigh. Pretty quickly once the first rock was pulled he let out a wince, tensing up as Shu fair casually just took each offending object right out, not expecting him to be so direct and quick about it. At least the gel offered a little comfort, though it hardly made everything a hundred percent. Smiling tightly as he was given medical attention, Takeshi glanced back at his brother, amused by how happy the little guy seemed. "No, rocks in your face would suck. I guess it's better than that, huh?" he asked, chuckling before grinning, "Or rocks in your butt, right buddy?"

The monster had eaten one of the fighters, now if it could just get this other one! They were inside the giant machine, they had to be, and all it needed to do was break it open to get to its prey. Easier said than done however, as losing three of its six limbs could attest Viral wasn't going to go down easily. Roaring furiously at being injured it reached out with its talons again, trying and managing to grab hold of the Beastman, trying to drag him in close to get a bite out of him. Unfortunately for the monster its strength was waning due to blood loss, and it was unable to so much as budge Enki as the machine fought against it. What's more, an unexpected ranged attack caught it quite off guard, unable to do anything to protect itself as it was occupied struggling with Viral. Howls erupted from the monter's throat as knives imbedded themselves into its body, everywhere from its sternum to its neck and even a few to the face. Finding it impossible to retain its grip the monster released Viral, swaying slightly before lashing out again with its remaining three limbs, trying to aim for the cockpit where the Beastman was sat. At the same time it began to gather energy once more in its maw, hoping to blow apart the machine with one shot now that the other fighter was nowhere to help.

Shu wasn’t one for caring what wounds looked like or touching them so long as they weren’t big and nasty and with Takeshi there wasn’t much to worry about when a lot of them weren’t deep. Sure, there was rocks in them, but he didn’t care much about that either. He had received plenty of wounds in his time regarding his limbs so it wasn’t as if it was anything different when it was on someone else. “It is so! I could make it worse if I didn’t pull right, silly”, he squeaked, removing all the rocks he could, “Why you no think I am smart when it comes to how to survive? Can’t live in the wild with a rock in your butt!” Fixing up Takeshi was proving to be fairly okay, finding it not too hard but definitely a little strange when he had never done it before. He was only hoping he was doing it right after all of this and wasn’t getting it all wrong like he was prone to doing sometimes. Placing the gel down he unravelled the bandages, wrapping them around Takeshi’s leg happily. “Rocks anywhere is bad! You silly for getting rocks in your butt if you mean that! How you sit down and walk around now? Too hard to for a while, huh?”

Viral was not holding any punches with this thing, his determination to kill it coming at the anger over what it’s done. Everything they were trying to do had been ruined by this creature and time was running out so quickly for him especially. He was probably in the final stages of his disorder and any further would be when he would be lost to madness. Throwing out several shots of his hidden blades he pulled away from the monster once it had released him, dropping his blades as the monster suddenly threw its limbs forward for Enki’s face. Immediately grabbing what he could he held the beast steady, glaring at it as he noticed the build-up of energy with its aim firmly held on him he only looked down a second before cackling. “Imbecile! You’re already dead!”

T’charrl wasn’t dead, he was far from it. Being eaten was merely a minor inconvenience but it sure was stressful and what came with stress and dire situations was something the monster should’ve been aware of, but then again T’charrl had kept it hidden well by only showing speed and being low of energy. Even if he had full energy this wouldn’t had been a good idea. What Viral had noticed was a steady swelling in the beast’s gut, the swelling being unnoticed at first before getting larger quickly. As it continued to grow a large point started to form before forcing itself out of the beast’s gut in the form of a giant boney blade. Slicing its way open T’charrl in his monstrous form emerged from the beast covered in goop, letting out a screeching roar as he emerged and continued to grow to his full height to half of Enki’s size as he forcefully tore his way out.

Each time Shu plucked a rock out of his leg Takeshi couldn't help but wince, finding the whole thing very uncomfortable. It felt much better not having all of that junk sticking into him, but once it was removed too he became acutely aware of the wounds they left behind. Thankfully even with his very limited medical knowledge Shu was prompt in patching him up, actually not doing a half bad job with it all things considered. "Hah... It's not that I don't think you're smart enough," Takeshi lied, totally thinking that, "I just... Figured you'd never done this before, you know? Gathering food is one thing, treating wounds is a whole different thing. Hey, you're doing an awesome job though buddy." Ugh, though he was probably going to be sore as hell for a couple of days, and that wasn't even to mention what Shu was so generous in pointing out; sitting down and walking around in general was going to be a real bother. Maybe he could just cut out the middle man and fly, though that would definitely get tiresome after a bit. Smiling with relief as the final rock was picked out of him the older boy let out a sigh, grabbing the roll of bandages from Shu and going about wrapping the gash on his forehead himself. Well the little guy had definitely wrapped him up, perhaps a little too tight as he found it a bit tricky to flex his legs. Sitting up rigidly Takeshi groaned as he put pressure on the wounds, awkwardly leaning back to alleviate some of it. "Man... This sucks... Stupid rocks."

Aside from the broken arm Vegeta was hardly as bad as Takeshi, only having a few minor cuts and bruises really. Nodding appreciatively as Yumi got his injured limb into a sling he glanced back towards the battle, his stomach aflutter with anxiety as he wondered how the fight was progressing. Neither of the two out there were someone he wanted in that situation, their conditions far too precarious to be taking such risks. He knew there was nothing that could be done for it now, yet that didn't keep him from dreading and fearing the worst. "They had better be alright... Maybe I should go back..." Vegeta mumbled, frowning as he began to get up onto to be pushed back down by Yumi. Glancing up at his friend for a moment he relented, scoffing as he glanced away and ran his hand through his dirty, matted hair. "Fine... But as soon as they're done I'm going to get them. I don't know what good I am to them at this point but I've got to keep trying."

"We can all help too, you know. You're not the only person who is useful around here," Yumi remarked, frowning as she placed her hands on her hips. She and Sasha were doing their parts to help out, and even Shu was too for that matter. As far as her own injuries were concerned they were already beginning to heal, or they must be as she noted the soreness was quickly fading. A byproduct of her unique nature, perhaps? She'd never noticed quick healing before, nor could she explain why it seemed to come up now or what had prompted it to. Not that she was going to question it, having her body heal itself meant she could focusing on helping everyone else, which was nice. Satisfied that Vegeta wasn't going to run off anywhere Yumi went over to where Haku and the frost demon were sat, checking up on both of their bandages to make sure everything was nice and neatly done. "So... Are you going to share your name with us, or do we have to guess?" Yumi asked, smiling slightly as she glanced over at the alien. Caution came in part thanks to Viral's recounts of their species, but she was trying to keep an open mind and not make any sudden judgments. "My name is Yumi, and these are my friends."

The monster was absolutely livid, it wanted to devour all of these fighters and be done with this. If its master came around and found it had failed it would be killed, that was too if these ones didn't do that first. Struggling with its injuries and Viral's new found strength it was quickly reaching its limit, seeing no other option than to try and blast its enemies away. Lashing out at the Beastman it began to amass energy as well, intending to blow apart the machine and hopefully expose its prey inside. In the process of doing so however there was a notable pain in its stomach, as if something inside was rapidly expanding and threatening to burst out. Looking down the monster roared when a blade cut clean through, and the wound promptly made even bigger when T'charrl climbed out, leaving a gaping hole in its body. With an injury like that it was bound to die and it knew this, meaning now its only option was to try and kill the fighters. Growling weakly as it swayed in its spot the monster used its remaining limbs as posts, stabilizing itself once more as its head reared up, energy quickly amassing like before. This time it would use more, and it would intend to kill rather than just injure the fighters. If it was going to die here then fine, it resolved to, but it would do so fulfilling its master's wish.

Shu was being pretty careful with it all, making sure he wasn’t going to harm his brother by taking them out too slowly and instead giving them a good yank before a good toss away. At least with the bandages he could help Takeshi feel better without having to pluck rocks out of his skin and at least he made sure to get them all before wrapping him up. He was just doing what he was told, otherwise he wouldn’t have a clue to how to do any of this stuff. “I haven’t! I didn’t want to get sick and die in the wild because I couldn’t pull a rock out of me”. Finishing off he bounced back, not looking like he wanted to touch anything or even his clothes after all that. “I did it! See? You fine now”, he smiled, bouncing on his feet a little, “Well if you behave then you heal quick! Maybe Friend T’charrl can help too, but he would be awfully tired, huh? Then again, he probably real tired…poor Friend. He all down there with Mister Viral still…”

Kiton had been keeping quiet, feeling a little uncomfortable around all of these people. They were all strangers and this was all because he brought that thing to the planet they happened to be visiting. What a string of bad luck, even after he had tried so hard to fight off the beasts on his way through space. He wouldn’t be able to fight them all off if they all turned on him because of what happened, knowing there was a possibility that they’d all get angry at him and place all the blame on him. It was pretty tense and what was worse was they had him right in a vulnerable position as he was made immobile from injuries and bandages. Feeling a little worn out mentally he didn’t notice Yumi had approached him, his eyes quickly looking up at her in fright at first before narrowing his gaze, confused to why she was talking to him. “Wha, my name…?” he muttered, looking to the others when she mentioned her name and them all being friends, not exactly colleagues, “I…am Kiton. I thought you all worked together. Isn’t it a little risky to be a group of friends in Space with rebels…?”

T’charrl may had transformed but to get out of that with such low energy he couldn’t fight back, only managing to move away enough to keep out of Viral’s way and to catch his breath. He was near suffocated in there and with his larger body he required a lot more to stop himself from going unconscious. His wings were still ruined but looked like they were reforming quickly as well as his body went through renewal now that he was out of the danger zone. He really needed to get washed and the water up ahead was looking awfully tempting; however, he also couldn’t move his claws and that happened to be a big part of his ability to move.

Viral moved when T’charrl managed to find his escape, finding the situation much to his liking now. There was no way this thing could survive any longer, watching as it tried to keep itself standing. It was its own fault for eating someone like T’charrl but luckily it was him as anyone else would’ve been done for otherwise. Watching it carefully he picked up his blades, sheathing them as he signalled his victory over the creature; however, just when he thought it was done the creature was making a last ditch effort to destroy him with one last energy blast. Turning to face it he grunted, Enki’s condescending stare right on it. “Pathetic. Maybe whatever created you should’ve given you a brain too”, he spoke, the crown on Enki’s head glowing brighter in its centre, “You’ve lost…pathetic creature”. With a light great enough to cause the entire area to glow bright, Enki fired a devastating Sun Beam at the creature that scorched the area around the blast.

"Yeah... Dying would suck, guess it's good you avoided it," Takeshi said, smiling slightly as he shifted about. These next few days were really going to be quite uncomfortable unless he went overboard and hoped in a healing tank; these wounds, annoying as they were, didn't quite warrant that level of treatment. Besides, who knew what kind of state T'charrl and Viral might be in once they finished up with the monster, they may actually need the tanks. "I'm sure those guys will be alright... They're tough, and they're the only ones not hurt right now, so they've gotta win, yeah? I bet any minute now they'll come back in, grinning like idiots after killing the thing." Takeshi would like to be the one to have killed it, and were he not low on energy he'd fly out and rejoin the fray, regardless of what condition his legs were in. But nope, he was going to have to sit tight for now and just wait like the others, and probably listen to Viral about how he'd killed what they couldn't. He wasn't sure how to feel about that; happy that Viral had managed to fight and beat something again, or annoyed the Beastman now had a leg up on him.

Yumi figured she would just make rounds in the shuttle, check to see how everyone was faring with their injuries. Sasha and Ricken were off to the side having a private conversation so that left her to tend to the others, save for Takeshi who had Shu. Vegeta was being a bit of a pain with his remorseful behavior, though it was easy enough to make him stay put. Haku looked much too sore to really be doing anything, seeming to be staring off towards the fight as if trying to get an idea for what was happening. All that was left then was the Frost Demon, and short exchanges aside she hadn't said a word to him edgewise. Just as a formality she figured they might as well start with names, even offering hers first to try and break the ice. "Well we do work together, and we're friends. I don't see why they have to be mutually exclusive," Yumi remarked, frowning confused. "I don't see why it's risky, I think it's even safer than traveling with anyone else, even the rebels. I mean sure, they're the good guys in this war but if I had the choice I'd take someone I really knew in a heartbeat." That seemed pretty self-explanatory, she wasn't sure why she had to spell that out for Kiton. Taking a seat at the other end of his cot Yumi let out a groan, placing her hands on her knees and leaning forward as she stretched and popped a knot in her back. "I take it you travel by yourself, doesn't that get lonely?"

The monster could scarcely keep itself upright at this point, what with all the blood it was losing. It was quite obvious even to it that this fight was soon to end, and if it was then it needed to try and fulfill its purpose for being here. All of the Namekians had not been dealt with, but perhaps it could destroy all of the fighters with one final attack. Rooting itself into the dirt it began to gather energy, intending to channel a blast large enough that even the creature itself would lost in its wake. Stationary and committed to this attack as it was the beast could do nothing when it saw Viral's retaliation in the form of a blast, not even having gathered the power itself necessary for its attack. When Enki's power struck it the monster's energy faded fast, a shrill howl echoing through the area as it was literally blown to pieces, the remnants of the once giant beast quickly melting into nothingness. Once Viral's attack had finally subsided nothing remained, a large scar stretching across the surface and a wide hole where the monster had climbed out of. Plants and grass around the blast zone were singed or burning, but thanks to the blast exploding near water the resulting waves and falling of water quickly doused the would-be fires. Finally, after several long moments of battle it was over, and Viral was the one to thank for slaying the beast.

Shu squeaked happily, bouncing on his toes when Takeshi finally started to see logic in his actions. It was pretty nice to finally get a chance to show off some of his skills that he learned while out in the jungle, even if Takeshi didn’t fully trust him with things like that. He wanted to show his usefulness a lot but it was always that Takeshi or somebody else always underestimated him and thought he couldn’t handle the real world. Moving back towards Takeshi he gave him a hopeful smile that he was right in his assumption. “You think so? I don’t see them grinning that much…uhh well, Mister Viral does, but it’s usually while fighting and looks scary, a little…” Looking around for something to wipe his hands on he squeaked when a light out of the corner of his eye shone bright outside. That was certainly confusing but it felt a little warm too, like catching the heat of a nearby fire. It was certainly confusing but the noise that followed was worrying, frowning a little before his attention went back to Takeshi. “I think Mister Viral did that. Didn’t feel like Ki, I think…”

Kiton didn’t know if she was trying to get information out of him or really was trying to talk to him, even if it was a strange way of talking. She seemed to be treating him like an unknown entity, but then again even he didn’t know what she was if she was thinking the same towards him. She looked kind of like one of them but had fluffy ears so that was different. Staring at her a little confused by her sudden decision to spark a conversation he frowned at her explanation, not finding it to add up to his experiences and what he knew about travelling. “That’s…strange. So just like mercenaries, huh? Sometimes working for these rebels, or something?” He didn’t understand how people could be friends and travel through space investigating ships with rebels. It was strange to him, but then again many things were unusual when it came to these guys. Watching her as she took a seat he narrowed his eyes, finding the crack to be a little gross sounding. Not entirely sure what she suggesting he tried to sit up, wincing when he could barely get his shoulders up, dropping back down. “…I-I do! No, I mean…to the travel by myself. I don’t get lonely…besides, you’d have to have people with you previously to get lonely…”

Viral put a lot into that attack but even then the constant solar energy on this planet empowered his attack. Firing his attack left the monster non-existent, the landscape completely devastated around the blast. He was completely into the battle, his gaze sharp as he barely took in a breath until the smoke disappeared. Staring at the scorched earth he soon snapped back into reality, looking to T’charrl who remained trying to recover on the ground. In that form it was like looking down at a large mutant dog even though he knew when he got out of his mech the guy would be massive compared to him. Who knew how they were supposed to deal with that, but then again it was him they had to worry about considering his further transformed form. His health was not going to be the best when he finally came down from his high. As his energy levels slowly dropped he was going to have to withdraw Enki very soon, placing him at risk against T’charrl possibly not recognising him and attacking him. Slowly kneeling down with Enki he deactivated it for now, its eyes going black as it powered down as Viral sat back in an attempt to try and relax.

"Mercenaries? No, nothing like that. We're not getting paid for this or anything," Yumi explained, smiling slightly as she glanced down at her feet. "My friends and I... We've all been hurt one way or another by the Saiyans. Even before we ever met the rebels, Takeshi, Shu and Viral were all taken, and we didn't see any of them for a year. Then after they finally came back to us I was taken, so we've all had a lot of hardships because of those people. It's not that we're even really working for the rebellion, we just happen to have a common enemy." She supposed one could say they were friends, with a few of the rebels anyways. Though Ricken was a bit of a pain she couldn't say she completely hated him, and she certainly didn't hate Sasha. Sayomi was nice enough if a bit cold, and that big man whose name she couldn't recall was nice, if odd. Really the only rebel she wasn't overly certain of was Korian, as it was impossible to read him. Sometimes he was calm, other times he went a bit nuts, like when they were trying to charge Viral. To her it almost seemed like he was a Saiyan trying to escape what he was, and failing to do so. Glancing over at Kiton after explaining their group Yumi couldn't help but feel sympathetic for him. So he had always traveled alone then? Sure, if you never knew someone's company then she figured you might not mind it, but it still seemed like a lousy way to live. "You know... Our group is always growing, we seem to take new people in constantly," she explained, looking at the Frost Demon and smiling kindly, "You'd be welcome to join us, if you want."

Takeshi didn't know what to make of the fighting anymore, feeling the occasional surge of energy and not much else. For a while there was a lot of nothing too, and he couldn't help but worry something might have happened. Seeing as no one else was getting all worked up he kept quiet for now, figuring if something truly went wrong they'd rush in to help. Glancing over at Shu he smiled slightly amused, tearing off a piece of the medical gauze and tossing it to his brother. "It'll absorb most of the blood, sorry for that. Just wash your hands off when we land, okay?" They really didn't have anything on board for it far as he could tell, certainly no restroom on the shuttle. "I mean... Viral's not exactly got the kind of grin you show a little kid, you know? But if the guy wins this fight I bet he'd be happy, creepy grin and all." Chuckling to himself Takeshi began to try and get up, wincing as he felt his wounds being agitated from the pressure. He ended up holding still where he was then, but not due to the discomfort of moving; feeling the blast from something shake the very air around them he looked towards the cockpit, catching the brief flash of brilliant light from whatever that attack was. As Shu was quick to point out it certainly wasn't Ki, nor was it that dark energy the monster seemed to be using. The only explanation then... "Viral! We've got to get over there, now!"

Vegeta didn't need anyone else to give him reason to move, already to his feet even before Takeshi had said anything. With Sasha and Ricken still off to the side he moved past them, ignoring Yumi's shout to relax as he went for the controls. Taking a seat in the main chair he awkwardly fumbled with the settings with one hand, managing to bring the shuttle out of its hover mode and under his control. With a bit of pain from torquing his muscles Vegeta forced the ship to turn around, making their way back to the fight. Almost immediately he could see things had changed drastically, with the first massive difference being a serious lack of the monster. For a second he thought it may have burrowed underground, but glancing at the hole and seeing burned bits and blood marks he quickly concluded the beast was no more. Furthermore, he saw Enki still standing, which was a huge relief to him. It wasn't until his gaze set on T'charrl that a feeling of unease returned, noting how the Kaesstrian looked completely different from before. What was he covered in anyways, just what had happened? At the risk of being lashed out at Vegeta began to settle down the ship, and once it had touched the ground he promptly got to his feet, rushing to the door and jumping out without a word. "Viral! Are you alright? Can you hear me?"

"Vegeta, you're hurt! Quit running around like that!" Yumi snapped, frowning as she followed her friend out of the ship. Giving her friends dirty looks she promptly stopped in her tracks when she saw the aftermath of that last attack, blinking in amazement at just the sheer amount of damage Viral had managed to do. All of that in spite being in such dire straits, she was always amazed just by how powerful the Beastman was. Looking away from the damage she caught sight of T'charrl, even more stunned and worried at seeing what had become of him. Never mind whatever he was covered in, the fact he had changed again was especially worrisome, and there was no way of knowing if he was still in control or not. Biting her lip Yumi began to slowly approach her friend, putting up her hands just in case as she offered a small smile. "T'charrl...? Uh... Are you okay?"

Kiton was a little confused, finding it odd that someone would talk to him like that out of the blue. Maybe it was because they were all trying to make him feel comfortable so he wouldn’t try to escape or maybe they just hadn’t met anyone new in a very long time; either way, it was strange to him and not something he’s experienced before. Looking to the others briefly he soon looked back, frowning at first at her willingness to reveal all about what they’ve been up to. He didn’t know what was going on here, he didn’t know how these people got involved with the Saiyans or what they did it that year and yet there she was confiding in him for some reason. “Uhh…o-okay. So you guys have…been busy…” he spoke, looking to the others again, “So it’s kind of a revenge thing, huh?” He was feeling like the odd one out even more, seeing how these people were probably upstanding citizens. He just did what he did to survive while these guys could probably go live somewhere else and be happy without having to get involved. Frowning slightly he looked back at her when she spoke again, not feeling entirely sure about her offer when it was so similar to what the rebel girl asked him. “…I don’t know. I may bring you closer to other sorts of trouble…besides, I’m still in trouble with you guys”. Looking around when the other guy suddenly spoke up there was an immediately feeling of confusion on his side and urgency on everyone else’s. Whatever that light was it was apparently important to one of them, sending them off towards the battlefield.

Shu was fairly happy despite everything that had happened, his own concern that everyone was going to be alright being fairly non-existent. He believed in his friends and they were so close that he couldn’t see them ever screwing up and getting really badly hurt. Viral was definitely a concern but his problem lay in his condition, not the battle. Taking the gauze he wiped his hands down on it, smiling happily as he was given a little relief from feeling unmanageable when he relied on his hands so much. He used them probably in more ways than others used their own hands from eating to grooming himself. “Poor Mister Viral…maybe he really wants to smile but is too scared of scaring people”, he spoke, lowering his head, “Big sharp teeth all scary to kids…” The bright light wasn’t something he’d get scared over if it really was Viral, but everyone else suddenly sprung up an urgency to go to him and T’charrl. Looking to Takeshi quickly he soon looked out the doors, curious to what was the big rush was just incase they hadn’t finished the battle. Sure, the noises were scary but he had faith in Viral that he’d win. “Ooh! You no should be getting up, anyway!”

Viral didn’t know what would happen once he stepped out of Enki, whether he would slowly lose his mind again being out in the real world or be okay and recover from his mental attack from earlier. He had practically destroyed Vegeta’s hopes of curing him by losing control, but he didn’t know how to admit such a thing was his fault in the first place. Vegeta already did a lot to help him but he messed up so badly today. That one slip up cause Vegeta to lose his confidence in everything and that was the worst guilt he could feel right now despite the victor. Staring at his enlarged paws he gasped when he heard Vegeta’s voice, looking out through the monitors at the shuttle. He hardly got any time to think to himself about his future and there he was already bouncing on over. How aggravating that he didn’t get time to think to himself his plans, but he couldn’t hide away in Enki forever. Growling in annoyance he slowly moved forward, leaning towards the cockpit’s doors before Enki glowed bright, gradually decreasing in size until it was just Viral left as he dropped to the ground. Landing on all fours he saw himself lucky that he hadn’t startled the large beast that was T’charrl, looking to him before growling as he stood up, staring at Vegeta.

Finding it a little easier to breathe again T’charrl remained where he was, his eyes slowly surveying the area wearily. He was full of monstrous strength and energy yet couldn’t find the momentum he needed to get up and try to wash himself down. Maybe it was his fear of sinking in water that put him off or maybe he was just traumatised after being eaten; either way, the ordeal took a lot out of him mentally and moving was a bit of a task. Remaining where he was he wasn’t aware of Enki’s disappearance; however, when a little voice called out to him he slowly opened his large eyes and stared down at the little figure that was Yumi. There was a sudden dawning realisation that not all of them had encountered him like this and with instincts kicking in he let out a defensive hissing snarl, pushing his body up as his filth-ridden fur tried to stand on end. He was panicked and feeling the need to get away from everyone, his eyes going to the water but his body unable to move to it because of his instincts and fear of drowning kicking in. Finding it all too hard to deal with he was frozen, trying to force her away with his body language.

"I don't like that word... But yes, I suppose it is revenge. After all we can't just let what was done to us go unpunished, right? But I guess we're trying to help other people from not having to go through that too. We know first hand how bad it can be, so maybe if we can do something to stop it others won't have to experience it too." Yeah, Yumi much preferred that explanation as opposed to simply being 'out for revenge'. If anyone was seeking revenge in this war she figure honestly it was the rebels, and her little group was more just fighting to keep themselves safe. If she were to say that aloud however it'd skew how Kiton saw everyone, and right now she was trying to just make him comfortable with being around them. "You say that like we're not constantly surrounded by trouble already," Yumi joked, smiling as she shook her head, "If you've got baggage then we'll take it, and we'll help. You won't be the first or the last person who brings something... New, to the table, I'm sure." All things considered this was a civil enough conversation, so Yumi was a little disappointed when it was brought to an end. Then again perhaps not, the reason for it ending was the apparent finish to the battle. Watching Vegeta just up and get to steering the shuttle she let out an audible groan, getting up to try and stop him unsuccessfully. Stubborn idiot, his wounds were going to take forever to heal if he didn't just relax.

Honestly, what was Shu's aversion to having a little blood on his hands? Sure, you wouldn't exactly go licking your fingers afterwards, unless you were insane, but there was worse stuff to get on them. It was his brother's too anyways, not like he'd just fought someone and was covered. Eh, maybe it was just a desensitized thing, Takeshi doubted he'd be as eager to clean his hands as the little guy was. Watching him with slight amusement as he went about wiping his hands he glanced out the door, wondering where the nearest body of water was for Shu to use. "I mean you can smile without showing your teeth, you know. Maybe the guy can't full on grin, but nothing's stopping him from just smiling." Well, except maybe feeling sick and like your life might be drawing to an end, that could be a real mood killer. Like everyone else, Takeshi became quickly alerted by the sudden flash of light, though not putting two and two together and assuming it was Viral. All he knew was it wasn't the monster, that thing used some sort of black energy, so it meant one of their friends had done it. Eager to see what had happened he tried to get out of his seat, wincing as pain shot up his legs and he quickly sat back down in the chair. "Bah... Stupid legs. I'll fly over there, I don't need them!"

Vegeta didn't know exactly what to expect coming out here, whether Viral would even be conscious after that exertion or not. The first thing he saw was Enki, towering over the shuttle and himself as it loomed over the battle sight, appearing to be worn out and off. The fact that the Beastman had used to much energy concerned him, he wasn't sure how well his friend's form could sustain itself like that. Even if there was the chance of Viral being out he had to check for any response, also somewhat wary he may not wholly be himself either. After calling out his friend's name there was a painful moment of no reply, a sinking feeling setting in his stomach. Then, finally, Enki began to shrink down and Viral was shown, still changed but hardly looking feral or out of his mind. Smiling weakly at his friend, Vegeta walked over to him and began looking him over, wondering if he had any serious injuries from the fight. "You... Well you killed it, well done," he said, placing a hand on his injured shoulder as he chuckled faintly, "Unbelievable... You do realize you just saved Namek, don't you? If the Namekians know what had happened here you'd be considered a hero, I imagine. Well done, I'm sure father will be proud as soon as he finds out."

Yumi wasn't sure what to expect of T'charrl, having never quite seen him do this before. He looked even more changed than Viral did, and given how the Beastman was a mix of things that was saying something. Even so, she had to try and help him, even if she had absolutely no idea how she would go about doing so. Slowly approaching her friend with hands up she stopped when he began hissing, frowning as she realized he may not recognize her. Viral sometimes had a lapse in judgment when changed, so it was possible that could be the case here as well. Whether he was trying to warn her to keep back or go away she couldn't budge, no way would she leave him here like this. "I'm your friend, T'charrl, I'm not going to hurt you. Come on now, you can relax," Yumi said softly, smiling as she took another small step forward, "You're all dirty... Let me help? We'll get you washed up and then I'll bandage you, if you need it. I just need you to relax for me, okay? Can you do that?"
