I like the set-up you described back on like, page five, but I also -and this is 101% biased since I'm a Kurd- I also like the idea of it being somewhere in the mountains. But otherwise, ye.

Well, I was thinking an old temple wither it looked like the Sea Spire, Temple or other locations we have seen so far on top of a grassy cliff that over looked a city/town that was near a lake/ocean and that the on the other side was surrounded by forest and mountains possibly.

@Akayaofthemoon Well what I really want is for the base to be close to a human settlement, it will make interaction with human characters a bit easier. Though I would vote lake over ocean and town over city just out of personal preference

Likewise, I'd pick town and lake over sea and city. Having it be near a city and the sea is a little too close to the canon placement. It's not a bad thing, but it'd be nice to have something a bit different.

Okay so,

1. Magical Hobo Style
2. Old temple
3. Cliff not to far away from town but still over looking it with path that is easy to get to town and water
4. Town
5. Lake nearby.

Questions:

Town surrounded by forest and mountains?
What do we want the old temple to look like?
Name of town?

Forest and mountains sounds good to me! I know I said a statue would be cool but it isn't crucial to me. Gems do seem to have a penchant for modeling important constructs after various body parts though. Since the only towns that have been named so far have been 'X City' maybe Forest City, or Mountain City.

Are we talking about the inside or outside of the temple? Because if it is the inside I thought each Gem room was unique. If it is the outside I will say something like this...

I was talking about the outside. That is completely epic, I love Avatar so I am not sure why I didn't think of that!

They aren't on the cliff....they are the cliff :)
